Miguel O'Hara was the hero Spiderman in the year 2099. Born from an accident at his job as a scientist at Alchemax, Miguel literally fought against his superiors for basic human freedoms and rights. Alchemax, in the year 2099, is the corporate entity that 'owns' the north eastern part of the United States. In just a few short months Alchemax decided to fight back before more heroes rose to fight the corporate power. Several superhumans were created in experiments similar to the one that gave Miguel his powers, based on superheroes and villains from the 20th and early 21st centuries. Now Spiderman is being hunted by these test tube superhumans and hasn't been seen swinging through the streets of Nueva York [NYC] for weeks.

Just to be clear, the rich and powerful live on the higher floors of more glamorous buildings and skyscrapers. The lower class live closer to the bottom with the middle class of course being stuck in the middle. There are flying cars. Just outside of NYC are the Badlands, a mostly deserted area populated by savage Hulk creatures. And in place of a police force is the privatized Public Eye law enforcement who have cameras everywhere they can have them. The Public Eye for me was always something similar to Judge Dredd, flying bikes, ridiculous amounts of weaponry and gear, and the authority to get away with murder.

the Avengers of Alchemax:

Capt. America
Black Panther
Vision
Quicksilver
the Thing
Power Man
Klaw
the Rogue

@The Kid Lantern I like it. I kinda hope Klaw is robotic so Ghost can just slice him in half or something. Will be interesting fighting them all either way.

When choosing the group I actually thought of a few of them as foils for our heroes. The Vision for Ghost, Quicksilver for Ghost Rider, Klaw for Echo/DD, started to pick another Spidey villain for Hobgoblin but found that awesome image for a new take on Power Man.

Sorry for butting in, but I'm just going around to reassure people who may not know that mods remove posts entirely so you won't even see his post anymore.

@Javier sure some of the NewGuild folk'll be glad to hear that. Now be on your way mystical warrier.

Also @The Kid Lantern if villains are designed opposite to heroes who do I get? :P

It's cool man, thanks for the heads up!

Still wanna hear your opinions on the line-up of the Alchemax Avengers guys! What do you think of female version of Capt. America and Vision? And did anybody notice I decided on remaking Dr. Strange?

Oh I didn't do it for everyone, though I'd probably argue the Vision would also be a bit of an antagonist for both Ant Man and Ultron. In the end it went towards a team of muscle with Power Man, the Thing, Rogue, and Cap all being enhanced physically, with Vision and Klaw bringing in tech elements, and I made Panther feral just cause. Rogue is still on their team as well to duplicate any internal powers character's possess. So far though we have three tech based heroes [Ant Man, Ultron, and Hobgoblin] who don't have to worry about anything other than stolen memories and the life draining touch of Rogue's. And their tech getting busted up of course...

Cap: Wow that's a meathead even for a supersoldier. I don't know if it shouldn't be captain Alchemax though, given that USA no longer exist. The symbolism is kind of lost in any other sense than a legacy.
Black Panther: It's hard to see how panther would fare without Wakanda and its secrets to back him up. At least it's a formidable opponent if he's half like the original, that one could put cap through his paces.
Vision: This one's mine! >:D I'd like to see what original is it based on, whether the mainstream or say, ultimate.
Quicksilver: Never knew much about him, but it's a guy that can move really fast, so a razor wire across the street should be enough to be rid of him xD
the Thing: This guy has to be some power hungry maniac or gone through becoming that involuntarily.
Power Man: Meh, second fiddle to cap.
Klaw: Who?
Rogue: With or without Mx. marvel's powers? If the later, our lil PC Marvel should wqatch the heck out =P

Technically still the USA, just privatized. Stark-Fujikawa is out west towards Cali and Washington.

Cap is the only one I took from the new 2099 Secret Wars book. I couldn't find a pic with her and the shield that didn't have the others all over the place though. Panther was just one of the opposite ends of the spectrum, like the aforementioned Secret Wars book and how their Hawkeye is actually more like Angel than Clint. Vision will basically be like a God of Tech. Quicksilver is the same as the original. The Thing is a test tube hero like the rest of them and only a few weeks old. Power Man is more second fiddle to Thing, Cap's strength is less than theirs. Klaw was a villain of Black Panther's as well as a member of the Frightful Four. Rogue is of course just gender swapped, but he does have pre-programmed strength and flight.

As there is a link between her and Loki that'll probably be fine, most of our chars aren't so much original Heroes but more of their legacy/future replacements. You don't need to take the name to be their replacement.

I'll review the Avengers when I get home from school. Quicksilver as GR's 'foil'? Any particular reason for that choice?
