It seems many people have difficulty at the moment with finding time to post, I am sure it will be okay.
@Aweirdgamer
The talk of AI does raise my interest, especially when the uses for peaceful kinds depending on function could create ripples in the world of jobs and effect what would become obsolete for human workers, I am sure. I look forward to whatever demo you present.

The idea of using AI to replace human labor is already happening. It's quite crazy and amazing. A good video about it is here: youtube.com/watch?v=7Pq-S557XQU . For my own developments, I am mostly working on the angle of teaching AI science, knowledge, language, and social skills. This includes the scientific method so it may learn rather than be instructed alone. I chose this in part because through it, AI can understand and communicate about the world. It also is a friendlier direction because knowledge is inherently a cooperative effort. If the AI eventually gets as powerful as commonly feared, it would want to work with us. I doubt greatly that will happen like it is portrayed, though. For the demo, it will probably be more on the language aspect.

Someone just posted! You are a lifesaver.

I knew it would work. Also, gonna work my next post.
Been working on my next post. Decided to do math and see how population of Alvith will grow over time. Going to just be doing a percentage increase in population moving forward. Has been a 13% increase each time based on amount of male/female Alvith pairs then having half that produce offspring. I am going to stop but had so far been keeping track of male and female numbers along with adults and children. Anyway just did math and populations growth increases drastically at around 1,000 Pop mark.
Will be interesting to see what race reaches 1,000 first as potentially will have largest population on planet. So many contenders around same population. Will be exciting to see who it ends up being.
A rough future awaits.

That's what's going to happen here too.

@Neruu
How did you do the math to figure out the growth rate of the Alvith?
<Snipped quote by Joegreenbeen>
What I did for Alvith is I figured out numbers of males and females. For Alvith population it is 52% male and 48% female. From that I then decided that 75% of that is adults and 25% would be children. With number of adults then for each male/female pair I counted that as a mated pair which can produce children. So I took that number then gave Alvith a 50% fertility so only half of pairs could produce children. Take the number I get for number of children and spread it out between 52% male and 48% female first. Go through distributing population increase between 75% adult and 25% child for both genders which accounts for children becoming adults. Then checked the percentage increase in population and it was 18%. Seeing this as a little big for Alvith I added a additional step which was a 5% population decline after each growth in population. The 5% accounts for deaths from lack of medical knowledge, wild animals, sickness and old age. Would keep track of posts with population and after three posts would have a growth in next post.
So that is how I figured out to do 13% population growth for Alvith. It works currently but would need to redo numbers and figure out new growth rate if Alvith ever were to suffer a great number of deaths. Technological advancement could also alter the growth rate to be higher by lowering death rate.
I'm working on a post, but school's been in the way.
