@Wraithblade6

Was going off the basis that you had already accepted the Citadel.
But if you wish it changed so be it.

But just so I know, what's with the current standing with Wiz's ideal for the use of 'magic' and teleporting entire groups into places?

I was under the impression you did, you ported a couple times when I had the Purge chase you. But that might just have been you stating you moved too fast to be seen.

You can have a sweet underground bunker, just keep its size to less than stupidly massive. I would say it could have one major power supply, which could be possibly nuclear, or maybe geothermal from the heat that's produced deep underground... I'm not sure how deep you have to go to get good heat, but I am sure there's some kind of underground reservoir or hot water or maybe even oil... of course then you'd have smoke...

Wiz and I are working on what "magics" would be acceptable, but we also need to make sure we understand this Citadel of Hive first. What else can you tell us about it that Gabriel would possibly know?

It will probably be a Geothermal Plant for the city and a Nuclear Reactor for the military divisions and defenses. Looking in real life UK Geothermal, there are some areas that have it IRL and is believed there are more, however hasn't been fully explored.

Gabriel may know that the Citadel was co-built by the Yamada Corporation.

If Adam knows it, Gabriel knows it. He would also know the blueprints of the Citadel, through sheer virtue of having read the minds of those that constructed it and work in it. Only the things that almost nobody in the Citadel knows would surprise him.

Just because Adam is now in charge of Yamada and authorised payments etc, doesn't essentially mean he's seen the (full) blueprints. He would have more likely focused on research/medical areas.

No, but Gabriel has been everywhere. And due to his psychic abilities, he would easily have been able to track down the Citadel. Do recall that he's been planning this for 10 years now.

@thewizardguy

That's a bit of a copout, he's got psychic abilities and been everywhere so he knows everything. Meaning that no real surprises can be unveiled or story developed as if anything were to happen you could easily say, My Char knew that so he did this, then another surprise event happens, oh but he doesn't fall for it because he knew it, a character get's a mysterious phone call, but it's pointless because you already knew who it was and what was said... And in short become borderline god mode simply because you can easily say that he knew everything, not to mention kind of a plot killer. (I'll remind my soldiers to wear tinfoil hats)

Now don't get me wrong, I want a mass assault on either or both HIVE super structures. In which the Citadel will defiantly test the morals of Purge and Freelance and have already mindset at least three ways that both can be defeated and were actually intended to be targets to be lost. But if you character just knew it, well then there wouldn't be any real fun for anyone else to learn these.

I don't know how others feel about this and I may just be giving a crazy rant, but I thought I'd at least express my opinion on that.

Im not Siding with Either of you but i think legion as a kind of point. if Gabriel was to know basics then it would lead to a more fun encounter, However Gabriel is essentially the big man himself, God so he is All knowing

I agree that we don't want absolutely everything about Hive figured out, but a lot would be known over ten years of psychic investigation. Still, even though the vampires know a lot through Gabriel, that doesn't mean the citadel is as good as dead. The execution of any plan will be fraught with complications. I think one of the big ones is that is is located far enough underground that Gabriel can't reach it directly with his influence. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I'm sure trying to get to any power source to interrupt it is going to be very dangerous. Then the vampires have to travel down into the base. That could easily become a tomb. I'm sure you can think of more tricks and traps.
