Gabriel chuckled as Bedivere unleashed a scathing barrage of insults and ripostes. Like an elegant verbal battle, stab and riposte, as each remark was delivered with calculated effect. For a moment, Gabriel considered delving in there. After all, his psychic abilities gave him a certain unfair advantage as to knowing what Bedivere would reply beforehand. But alas, Gabriel wasn't a swordsman, and the parry and riposte of this skirmish had begun to bore him.

With a sudden grunt, Bedivere was cut off mid-sentence. Against his own volition his own hand had shot up, slapping himself in the face.

Admittedly, it was petty. And perhaps Gabriel drew more silent amusement out of the gesture than he should have. But he was a very petty man, and the look Bedivere was carefully keeping off his face made it all worth it. After all, most of Bedivere's remarks had been spot on, and Gabreil had no intention of revealing the reasoning behind his actions. When people believe you to be impulsive, they tend to watch their steps around you. And when people believe you cruel, they are far more likely to be loyal. For the combination of a petty and cruel man makes for a horrible boss to betray.

Meanwhile, he gave an approving glance at Mithias. He had underestimated the boy, believing him to be a mere fighter. And yet, he understood what his elders did not, displaying a sense of strategy befitting for a leader. Pridefully, Gabriel thought to himself that it must run in the family. "Moving on from such lesser squabbles and discussions, I find myself in agreement with my son. I have seen Hive in action from the moment of their formation, and they are nothing to the Purge. They are old in their ways, and seek nothing more than to fight the old-fashioned way. And yet the Purge ever expand, making our hunting grounds untouchable. How long before they poison the very air we breathe, before they seed the very lands with their cursed relics?" Gabriel turned to Adam with another appraising look. Whilst not the eldest in the room, the vampire before him had an intelligence and potential matched by few. He matched ingenuity with determination and aspiration. He was not a leader, but he was a planner and a creator. A dangerous man to cross, and a good man to have on one's side. "However, I do agree that this weapon in space is a threat to us all. Despite it's weaknesses it has the capability for mass destruction, as was demonstrated in it's test run. We will not be able to occupy any major city with this weapon in preparation, as Hive will not hesitate to eliminate entire cities to stop us."

Gabriel turned to Victor, the shadow vampire. His smile grew. "Of course, we have one among us who could breach the security of Hive. With the capability to slip from shadow to shadow, and what is there in space but shadows? The security on the station would be minimalistic, as it would be night impossible for any force to reach it. But with your capability for movement through shadows, and Chantelle's capability for teleportation, you might be able to reach the station. Without help, of course, you might still fail. But in this you shall have assistance." Gabriel turned to Bedivere, knowing that he would not gain the old knight's assistance easily. However, with the right bait, even the mighty dragon can be lured. "Bedi over here could appear in their water tank, from which he would be able to cut through the power main. This would disable the lights in the facility, vastly augmenting our dear Victor's power. Bedivere also would draw power from this darkness, and together they would form an unstoppable force. It would take mere moments to disable the Hive superweapon using two supercharged Oldbloods, tear it from the sky if you must. And each could leave before hitting the ground."

Gabriel chuckled as he looked up, already imagining the looks on the faces of those that served at HIVE. "We will tear their superweapon from the sky, and they will watch it as it falls to Earth. They built a tower to reach the Heavens, and claim the power of God. But they are mere mortal men, and they should be reminded of the true deities of the night. And we shall make their tower crumble, and their fear will divide them." He then forms a fist, glancing around the room. "My army and Freelancer will then strike at Hive while it is weakened from it's loss. Their headquarters is highly defended, but I have learned of their defences through my abilities. With human soldiers opening a hole in their defences, we will lead the way for my vampire strike force, and we will overwhelm their forces with ease. We will take control of the upper layer of their underground base, and we will use adam's manipulated blood to smoke them out. Transform the infection to smoke form, and create a poisonous gas to transform the living into monsters. Force them to either retreat ever deeper into the depths of their bunker, or charge upwards into our waiting ranks."

The plan had been long in the waiting. In over 3000 years Gabriel had wandered the Earth, and in his travels he had learned all he needed to know of the ancient organization HIVE, and their continued activities. He would be able to lead the men of Freelancer and his own army into their Citadel, and force HIVE to surrender. They had once bowed to him, thousands of years before. And once more, HIVE would serve a vampire overlord. "Ten years of preparation has lead us to this. The end of the human reign, and the dawn of eternal night. We will turn our extinction into our success, and eliminate the champions of mankind one by one while limiting the Purge's influence. And once all of their potential allies are gone, we will crush the Purge's main headquarters in Oklahoma, cutting the head off the snake."

@thewizardguy Victor grins wickedly, and all of his shadow constructs dissipate. That sounds like a lot more fun than playing darts... "Well what happens if we succeed?" Victor asks, not really caring about or waiting for a response from the others first. "After we effectively destroy any possible resistance from the humans? What else is there to strive for once we have it all? I love the struggle. Watching humans and vampires in this eternal tug o' war is very exciting." Victor's grin has been replaced with a frown.

Chantelle stepped forward and giggled. Staring down at Victor with seductive eyes.
"If we don't destroy the human resistance we will be watching more of our own being slaughtered. This game may be fun to watch but the more the humans learn about us, the more of us die. We already have plenty to strive for within our own race. For example which vampires are greater than the others."
A small wink flickered on her face and she pulled her cloak off, flipping her hair behind her ear and looking into the crowd.
"This war will be the one we win, otherwise I wouldn't be standing here today. Childhood games and mimicry all the humans know really."

Stepping back, she looked at Gabriel and then back into the crowd, her eyes blood red suddenly as her head began to sound almost silent screaming. Not showing the weird psychopathic happenings, she giggled once more and stared deathly into the crowd. Picking Mithias out in the crowd, he might be able to see a tint of the slowly creeping insanity that she was gaining. Mainly from the vampiric presence that she hadn't had for a long time, or maybe something had just clicked in her. But she glared deep at him, for no reason at all, then broke the eye contact and peered around the room.

Church looked at the group or more of a gang of Vampires that sat by him. He Looked to Mithias, and then Gabriel. Gabriel's Plan was good enough to flush them out. However having seen His Teams and one of his best Agents torn apart by Purge and Hive he knew it wouldnt be enough. "Father if i may, My Agents have already encountered HIVE on two separate occasions. the first of which they acted alone sending a single Agent to my Facility. Had my agents not spotted two downed Guards valued information could have been stolen. However two of my Agents were Incapacitated by this Agent. the Second was in Seattle by a Purge Fuel Depot." The TV flickered and showed a recording of the Video Feed from Norths Helmet during the battle. "Notice how as my agents try to Extract our Wounded, HIVE plant a bomb and Blow up the Depot and knock our Pelican from the sky" it came to the part where North, South and Washington had found the Body of Utah "This is what HIVE is capable of, They have technology great enough to make mask that are immune to our Virus. Instead we need to assault the inside of their base. My agents can get the Security off, Leaving your Army of YoungBloods to Destroy the HIVE." The TV flickered then shut off

"So easily swayed by the waggle of a tongue." Bedivere sighed his disappointment in the vampire matron who decided to join us. "Since when did you become such a harlot?" Gabriel's petty antics were tiresome, and really quite expected of a man-child. "But for you Mithias to be so kept on the short leash? I expect more from you than to blindly follow the fool's plan. So long has he not played at the table that he forgets the rules. Such has the value of pawns in the early game, though often undermined, it is the positional structure of the King's own men which often entraps him. But it is in the late game where they become more crucial. Perhaps these pawns will reach the end and promote themselves into becoming more than mere footmen. But at the same time, worrying too much about promoting them, and you shall trade your remaining assets and position for one unit on the board? Unwise.

And though I agree that the leader who can read the minds of our enemies in indeed an asset. Do not forget what will become of us should the be the King in court. It is rather befitting really, given that the king is the one piece that can never be put in harm's way. The game requires for the rest of us to do what we can to protect him. The king in check must move like a coward and hide behind the rows of warriors before him. fifteen peons shall die before the King is to be beheaded. Isn't that part of your plan Gabby?

Or am I far from being right in that, assuming that you believe unlike your boy the Orbital Satellite is quite a threat to your life? And as such you have expected to send a Rook, a Bishop and an Old Knight in an attempt to capture their metaphorical Queen? You should be able to do it yourself, simply walk into their base of operations and control their minds to destroy the Satellite. Unless of course your reconnaissance suggest no such option exists and even your powers have limits. To which I must turn the floor back over to Mithias who claims your powers are useful enough. But you can't even command a human to flip the lightswitch off?

Also, you forget that in the depths of space, day and night cease to formally exist, and all the waters of the world of which my Lineage is bound to cannot connect me into the stars beyond. Thus I am afraid you misread the movement abilities of your Knight, or did I need to remind you how the pieces move as well? But enough idle banter. To gain my support you must first Bell the Cat. I believe the Age of Kings was done in with the last truly great king's disappearance, but you may just prove me wrong."

Having said he piece Bedivere returned to the sipping of his tea, casting a glance at Mithias casually before setting his sights on Adam. "O'Neal, there is a particular relic in my possession you may wish to become intimate with. That is if you decide to wish to become more familiar regarding possibly counter-measures to the vampire-abomination-halfling epidemic or whatever it may be given your background in the biological fields. The blade known as Contagion may be of interest. Call me old-fashioned if you will but I stopped at Darwin. Yes, Now there's an Englishman proper. The Strong survive and will dominate the weak. This is the rule of nature, and why these humans do not cede to our will is beyond me. Perhaps a bit of sickness shall be the cure to their manic illness?" So many hints dropped that Bedivere may have put the pieces together or at least suspected Adam's involvement.

@PuRe DaRkNeSs Victor clears his throat. "Well as much as I appreciate the eye candy you provide, why do I give a damn about the rest of our kind? I'm in this for myself, it just so happens allying with a practical God," He gestures at Gabriel. "Is in my best interest." Victor begins twisting his hand in strange motions again. "I don't know about you, or the others... But I'm not doing this because I feel some duty to the vampires. I'm doing this because it's wiser than doing nothing."

Gabriel smirked as Bedivere continued in his usual way. Nothing else was to be expected. "Oh, I have no intention of ruling this world, unlike your own mistress. I've been there, done that. Got the Tshirt. And quite frankly, ruling the world becomes rather boring after the first hundred or so years. But I'm sure some dashing young vampire will be around to pick up the pieces once I'm done rampaging." He gives a meaningful look, although neither Bedivere nor Adam could tell which of them it was directed at. "Regardless, you make an excellent point regarding your limitations. I assumed that as the water had been retrieved from the Earth you would still be able to move through it, but I seem to have overestimated your capabilities."

"Of course, your doubts are entirely valid. Why, I'm far from the perfect leader. I know as much myself. In fact I have little time nor patience to be herding you schoolkids about, but you prove a necessity. HIVE use automated security systems, which would identify and eliminate me before I managed to enter their main centre of operations. As such, I will have to put up with your incessant squabbling, and you will have to put up with me." Gabriel gives Bedivere a quick smile, before moving on. He was well aware that he was best suited for the job. Bedivere lacked the support of the other vampires, even the Pale Lady could not have rallied the support of the other Oldbloods as he had.

"HIVE is a formidable opponent, but I knew them when they were but a man and his dog. They were not always this mighty, and this would not be the first time they have been defeated. Having exhausted the easy options, it seems we'll need to just murder the shit out of them, in the old-fashioned way." He sent an image into the heads of those present, a schematic for a hand-powered drill. It was fairly simple, but very finely made. Easy to move around and mass produce. For Mithias' benefit, a servant held up a picture. Nobody else could see the servant or picture, of course. "We will be forced to burrow into their base. It's impossible to triumph against them if we use the one method of entrance provided to us. It would lead to our near instant defeat. Those vampire with transportation abilities will find their own ways in, and attack from unexpected angles. We will spread their defences thing. I will eliminate their human defences, but we will still need to deal with their mechanical ones."

Chantelle looked at Victor and smiled, the darkness swarming in her eyes.
"You may be in it for yourself. So was I. I'm the oldblood who abandoned the rest...I'm the one who decided to leave. YUou need not to disagree with me."
Her voice deepened as she got angry, Walking towards victor with a snarl.

@PuRe DaRkNeSs Victor snorted. "There's no need for violence, calm down. Besides, it would be a shame to cleave the head off of such a pretty body. Yes, let's not fight." The twisting of his left hand increases in speed. "How old are you?" Victor seems disinterested with Chantelle at this point.

Adam would smile at Bedivere. Well by now it was common knowledge that he had been behind the attack, it was still amusing that he was attempting to probe for some kind of inlet of information. "Chasing old relics are we? A single sword against a hoard of those things, mystical or not is redundant with modern weapons."

Adam then looked over towards Gabriel with a sense of disbelief. "You really intend to dig down into a Geo-Fort? You'd have more luck with a spoon escaping Alcatraz." Adam remarked. "Not to mention the reputation that both Freelancer and Purge will lose for attacking an anti-vampire organisation and killing civilians. But suit yourself. I'll see you there in three days. If you're still alive that is."

Adam would then pull out his phone and begin to walk out of the room. But before doing so he would quickly turn to Victor with a alluring grin. "Would you be a dear and accompany me?" Adam asked in a tender tone before switching back to a business aura as the other end of the phone picked up and continue to walk away..

"Operator?... Ah, Judith. Is he in? How the kids? So tomorrow then? Brilliant. Tell him I'll be popping a visit."

"I'm an oldblood and sire king. I am one of the oldest vampires around. And powerful. Apart from Gabriel... I am very protective of my self ssweetheart."
Winking, she kissed his cheek and giggled darkly.

@PuRe DaRkNeSs "Well it's a good thing you share the same status as me. Oldblood, sire king, powerful." Victor would play this game with her, oh yes he would indeed. As if someone as cunning as him could be trapped in her web so easily. "Not to flatter myself, or you, but did I mention incredibly sexy?" She either wants something, or she's trying to play a game with me. I love games.

Silver picked up the scent of Blood, thought faint, she could still follow it. She may not fit in, but Blood treated her better than anyone she ever knew. Hopefully, it led back to the freelancer base he was from. The journey was long, but it didn't really wear Silver down that much. She could use a nap and some food though.

Silver caught the scent of others, more stronger now. They smelled like the metal suit Blood wore, so she expected Freelancers. Soon enough, she came upon the base she once saw before. Silver felt the presence of other beings within. Could she just walk in? Or did she have to go through some sort of security. There had to be security. Silver whimpered. Hopefully they remember her from before.

Chantelle walked around him before looking him up and down, her eyes crimsons and her fangs retracted.
"You are one of the few powerful left like me. Who isn't insane or godlike... Maybe I have some use with you on my side."
Then, acknowledging the 'Incredibly sexy' part, she bit her lip and giggled gently, stopping a few inches away from his face.
"Indeed we are, but that's just a natural gift."

@PuRe DaRkNeSs Victor smirks. "I'm naturally gifted in many ways, hon." Victor could tell that things were probably going to be drawing to a close soon. But who would emerge as the Victor (badum-tss) from this little game? The shadow walker threw another dart, his focus still on his game. Even Chantelle's close proximity to his face wouldn't take his focus away from the dart board. Though... this other game he was playing was quite a bit of fun...

Chantelle stepped back and disappeared pretty much, appearing behind him and grabbing one of the darts and throwing it at the dart board. Bullseyes.
"Playing two games at once is rude child. Now to formally introduce myself. Miss Chantelle Black. Known as the intelligent, the seductive, the shapeshifter, the abandoner. I have many names for which you may of heard. Although we are of a similar age, you must have an influence somewhere on this world?"
Placing her hand on his shoulder, he could feel the warmth from her power.

All of Victor's shadow constructs vanish once again. "I might have heard of you before, but I'm not about to try and find out for certain. It's literally a cyclone in there," Victor says as he knocks on the side of his head gently. "What's this about influence?"

She sat upon the roof of a building. It was too quiet for her. But she found it relaxing since it was some time where she didn't have to be shot every three seconds or stabbed. She shut her eyes slowly, but she then slaps her face trying to keep herself awake "H-h-how long has it been?...." She looked to her hands and sighed "Time to go hunting for some food..." She gets up and walks down the stairs of the building for once

"You must have power somewhere, people must fear you somewhere. Yet you act like a young blood."
The screams in her head appeared again and she blinked hard before looking at victor. Without her realising, he would of hurt a faint scream within his own head that she made him hear but she didn't realise.

@PuRe DaRkNeSs Victor smiled darkly. Another chorus of screaming voices within my own head? Please, go left and the first door on the right is where you will find your brothers and sisters. "I believe, Miss Chantelle, that anonymity is much more useful in my line of work. I have no need to be known or feared by the masses. They will know my name soon enough." He stared at Chantelle intensely. "I may have an associate or two, but their power is far below my own."
