Mortis chuckles, and he begins to dodge away from the beam of dark-light, waiting for the Kishin to do something, just as Rick returns from his portal. He looks over to the prepping to flee Marcus, and chuckles.
"Bird for brains, how does four hundred pounds of your preferred metal sound if you fight this?" Rick asks, now wearing a strange looking checkered suit, and white gloves.
"Hmph, bribery? Well, whatever gets the job done. Hurry, fight fools, or we may all be lost to nightmares!" Mortis calls out, continuing to dodge the dark-light blast.
In the distance of the chaos realm, a warrior trains. However, he senses the battle raging against James, and team Mortis, so this warrior begins to move towards the sounds of battle to investigate.

Mithias sank down, and the light of the spirits around him illuminated a path down to the scene of a massive sword in the moving sand. The fish creatures were all focused on the sword, not even seeming to notice the drowned vampire getting nearer. Mithias would have sighed, if he could have done that underwater, as he believed himself too far gone now into his madness. He didn't know who the god of storms was, nor who was stabbed into the ocean floor under that eerily active sand, but he didn't really care. He was just riding the waves now, following down the rabbit hole. He'd obey the commands of the dream set before him.

He couldn't talk, but he really didn't feel like it anyway. With little effort, he swam closer to the top of the sword. Freeing this bening didn't look easy. This weapon was massive, and Mithias had zero footing. He touched the handle to see if it gave any kind of reaction. Perhaps it was magical? He gave a perplexed look downward for help. He needed to know what to do.

As Blarg tries to speak to the fish creatures he finds only cries for help. They seem to be frantic, having lost their mind. They pulled at the sword with all their strength, many of them cutting themselves on it with their fruitless attempts. He saw many of them to be starving or ill, continuing despite everything. The fish men had lost all sense of self preservation, as if their only hope for salvation lay under the sands. It was only then that Blarg looked down, and noticed the fish bones among the moving sands. The corpses of those who had worked themselves to death.

It was clear they could speak, it was clear they could think. But something was suppressing their will, controlling them. Driving them into this rampant frenzy, forcing them to pull at the sword against their will. Trapping them in a fruitless battle with the massive blade, unable to do anything but die trying.

@Wraithblade6
As Mithias touched the handle he could feel it shift. And even as his intention spread through the blade, he could feel it shudder. He could feel it bashing against the corners of his mind, the enchantment on the blade desperately attempting to read him. He could almost feel the blade twisting beneath him, magic flickering around him. The ground seemed to tremble in anticipation as cracks appeared along the massive edge, creeping inwards towards the centre. The fish creatures seemed to tremble and screech, many of them spontaneously dying, as if finally being able to rest in piece. Then, with a final explosion, the blade explodes outwards.

The ground rumbles as the sands explode outwards. And from it stares a single eye, a massive eye, it's pupil far larger than Mithias. And from the sands rose the massive head of a serpent, sharp fangs and glistening scales, a long mane decorating it's back. It was unimaginably massive, the size of a small town. It's head alone was almost a mile in length, enough space to build a village. And after the first followed many heads, far in the distance. Emerging from the sands, on long twisting heads. A creature that dwarfed mountains, a hydra of monstrous proportion. Eight heads and eight tales, resting on a lizardlike body with four immense legs. Claws the size of skyscrapers dug into the sand, as the very oceans trembled. The creature laughed, and with each heave of the ocean shook. With each step it took, a small earthquake was formed. It's back was covered in a forest of spices and plants, A rich garden seemingly untouched by the creature's imprisonment under the sea, with enough space to host a large city.

The deep voice spoke, echoing from eight mouths. And Mithias realized the creature was whispering, that the tiny creature that had freed it might hear it's voice without being crushed by the vibrations. And still it's voice was unbearably loud, the voice of mountains, the voice of a being too terrible to be real. "You were the one, the one who would free me. The sword of Susano-O has broken, and with it his power has left me. All of the world's treasures shall be yours, child. Whenever you are in trouble simply call my name. Call for Yamato no Orochi, the Devourer of Gods!"

The ocean shook, as a laugh like thunder split the sky. Just as things had gotten calm the sea bursts into activity once more. Before a massive head raises itself from the ocean, extended upon a serpentine neck. The head lifts into the sky, far above the boat, blocking up the sun itself. It was immense, beyond immense. The longboat the heroes so desperately clung to was but the size of a single tooth in it's mouth, like a toothpick to the giant beast. And yet, more heads followed. At a distance sometimes miles apart. They moved about, glaring at everything nearby, seemingly searching for prey. It was impossible to tell if it was a single creature or a family of giant sea serpent monsters, and even harder to decide which of the two options was more terrifying.

The battle was finally over. Eclipse was weak. He was well beaten up and drained of his magic. With the last swirl of tornado disappating, he turned briefly to the sound of clapping, smiled, then fell into the water himself. Markus gave him a lift back to the ship.

Changed back into his human form, Eclipse laid in the pile of rope, wet, and with some kind of war-paint on his face, courtesy of Markus. "Thank you, cloudrider." He said to Marcus and smiled with the depiction of the epic battle scene on his cheeks. "I will be alright. Is everyone ok?" The winds were down to a calm breeze, and a light rain was falling while the sky was opening up to the sunlight above. A rainbow appeared.

@thewizardguy@Wraithblade6@supertinyking@Tyki Blarg, the super awesome murloc that he is, decides it's a good idea to drag Mithias with him as he rides one of the hydra's heads up and out of the water. If anything normal attempted this they probably would have died, but Blarg is nowhere near normal, so the trip up was nothing but a fun ride, well maybe a bit more bumpy due to the fact Blarg was dragging Mithias with him but hey he's a vampire he can take it. After riding the hydra head up to the surface of the water Blarg finds the ship and swims to it still dragging Mithias, calls for help from the starboard side of the ship.

Albert leaves the cabin just in time to hear Blarg yell, "Oi we got people over on this side if the boat." Albert is on the starboard side of the ship calling the others over to him.

@Dawn
"Well thanks for telling me the name of this place but I gotta go." Lucas turns away from the girl and walks toward the town in the distance as he walks he calls out his raven spirit.

Mithias is so shocked by the size of the creature he had released that he didn't even notice Blargh or resist being dragged around. He looked at the hydra god and remembered its name. He tried to think if it reminded him of anyone he had known before. It didn't. Nonetheless, the bright side: it hadn't eaten him.

Once back on board the ship, Mithias coughed up a bunch of water and started breathing again. he looked a bit green colored. He saw the sky had opened and the others were walking around on deck ok.

The vampire got up with a grimace and looked straight at the angel lying in the ropes. Eclipse looked worn out, but Mithias had no idea why. By now he was exceptionally wary of him. That holy aura was dangerous.

The giant hydra-titan popped its heads out of the water in various locations. Everyone could see them. It would be interesting what their reactions would be. "It's not after us." Mithias stated flatly, although he didn't explain how he'd be so confident. Truly, he had no idea what "Yamato no Orochi" had planned, but he could guess. It was probably vengeance against the storm god, followed by molding this world more to his liking. .. or was this even a world at all?

Mithias sighed. Whatever. He was entrenched in this. But if it was a hallucination, then maybe he could talk to his captor. He turned away from the others, "What is it you wish of me?" He asked vaguely, more hoping not to hear an answer. He didn't. That was just how his day was going.

Now he sought captain King, the short, hairy person with the loud voice. A sopping wet, white skinned, tall and lean vampire lifted a clawed hand to him. "Captain. Where are we going?"

"The fuck outta here, that's a damn hydra!" King shouts, panicking, sending the boat into reverse. Quickly, focusing as the ship flies backwards, King begins to pull a lever near the helm, and a strange panel opens up, a bunch of gems as nobs and handles appearing. "Shit...umm.....people, wish to stay here, or do you want me to try to get us to somewhere more..civilized..." He asks the shipmates.

Four hundred pounds?!
Indeed, it seemed money was the greatest medicine of them all. Looking at rick and grinning, as if his headache had all but vanished, Marcus turned back to him. "Well... when you put it like that..." He began looking around, and noticed the place where he had been transported to, his bow still lying on the ground, somehow the only extra object that traveled with him... however he got here. He ran and scooped it up, wary of whatever was attacking, and running back to Rick. He held the bow with a certain familiarity, as if he had always had it all of his life - and he had. "We'll discuss the type of metal after we make sure we survive... Those better be avoirdupois pounds..." The bow he held was made of a white wood, with strange carvings into it, the fibers of the string made out of a strange rainbow-color hair.

The ground flickered, the creature stepped forward. Breath seemed to become colder, shorter. Light seemed to dim, colour seemed to fade into grey. A cold gripped those present, a chill running down their spine. A fog began to envelope the area, seemingly unreal images playing through it, passing in mere instances, never fully seen. All of a sudden, it was as if all hope was draining out of the area, leaving room only for despair.

A blast of energy shot out from Vajira, the red wave engulfing the living nightmare. And yet it grinned, the line of white teeth visible even as the face was eroded, burning, only for the flames to peter out. It reformed, black squiggly lines taking their place in the chaotic construction of it´s body. It shivered unnaturally, a twitching, jerking movement that no natural being could have mimicked. With one hand it pulled down it´s hat, as it spoke in a twisted, unnatural voice. "What bad children you are. You're behind on your payments."

He was in front of Asura. There was no movement. Space was nothing to such a being, nothing more than the fear-filled hallucination of a traumatized child. And yet the cold hand that grabbed Asura by the neck was very real. Clammy fingers dug into his flesh, tearing through the skin scarves that wrapped around him. A numbness spread from the grip, a coldness that dug into his bones, that settled in the core of his being. He could feel his madness wavelength, the beating of his insane mind that so meticulously dug into the hearts of those around him, the power that had awarded him his title as the Failed God. But it gave him no confidence. He could feel the fear in him, the terror that had chased him down his entire existence. The horror that had driven him to madness, that had chased him through his existence, the paranoia that had never abandoned his fevered mind. He could feel his skin scarves drooping downwards, and he could feel his skin begin to follow. In large peels he began to fall apart, unfolding, unraveling. His existence was at an end, his life was no more than a blink in the eye of an uncaring universe. The death he had avoided, the death he had feared, even now clamped it's bony hand around his heart. And in the terror of the nothingness he was to become, it was as if he was paralysed by fear.

The others might step forward, aiming to intervene. Seeing the layers of skin beginning to peel off, beginning to dissolve to thread. They would see all colour beginning to drain from the Kishin, as the Nightmare realized his own greatest fear. And yet it was as if the ground stuck to their feet, black threads gripping their legs, moving up towards their chests. Every step was a struggle, and yet with every step the goal seemed to grow further away. An impossible struggle as even Mortis could feel the Anger that powered him giving way to terror, not mere fear but the paralysing horror of one who has submitted themselves to helplessness.

"Forgetting to pay all those little debts, getting away with all those little lies. But now you can't run any more. Now, you pay the consequence."

Asura stood there. Paralyzed by the fear that had haunted him his whole life. As his skin began to peel off however, his fear proved unpredictable as asura's worst memories surface. The peeling skin reminding him of the actions taken to seal him away

"....no...."

The eight hundred torturous years he spent came flooding back to him seemingly all at once. The centuries he spent in that bag. Skinless, bloodless, unable to break free from the prison he grew to hate. The prison that trapped him with his terrified thoughts

"Please no...."

Asura fell to his knees. The memories rushing back. His madness pounding at the doors of his mind. Threatening to burst out and rampage. He remembered the deaths he caused centuries ago. The way he betrayed his closest friend. All the sins he committed when fear and insanity guided his actions like a deranged puppet master.

"I can't... I won't..."

His head pounded now. For these memories weren't part of his fear.

They were his life flashing before his eyes. The life he lived as a demon.

In his last moments, asura remembered the path that made him a demon.

"...not now..."

Curiously, his spiral into nothingness seemed to stop seconds before he disappeared completely.

"Not yet..."

His peeling body then seemed to piece itself back together. Asura took no notice. He was too concerned with the nightmare before him.

"Not today."

Fighting back his madness, asura took a step towards his adversary. His body reappearing with increasing speed. Even as he walked toward the nightmare, his skin scarves rose in anticipation. He no longer cared about the fear that plagued him. He refused to let it get the best of him. Not now of all times. Not when his life and the lives of others were on the line.

Not when he still had so many inner demons left to fight.

Slowly, the Demon God pieced himself back together. Pieces of skin and clothing formed back together, shreds of self slotting back into place. For truly, it had not been his body that had been threatened. He had not destroyed his fear, but he had overcome it. He had acknowledged it, accepted it. Grown beyond it. It was not a feat that many were able to achieve, when faced by a Nightmare. Idly she wondered how well he would do, were he to find himself faced with his greatest fear. Idly she wondered how long he would live, were she to drag him into the Circus....

But those were musings for another time, perhaps. While she had been impressed, she had no intention of allowing any form of competition standing. And the threat of Mortis would be nipped in the bud. It seemed she would need to truly show who was in charge here. After all, they stood in the Chaos Realm. In what was soon to be her territory.

Smiling, she raises her hand, and a wave of shimmering movement seems to roll out from her throne. A turning of heads, an opening of eyes, as the very shadows grew alive with distorted, gruesome shapes. Beings big and small, with arms and legs and eyes and mouths, with claws and feathers with blades and guns. With bodies that writhe and crawl, forms like wisps of smoke or globs of slime. A vast variety of horrors from the infinite imagination of the minds of men. Creatures both real and imagined, conjured into the Realm of Nightmares by the sheer terror they inspire. An army of darkness, seemingly materialized from nowhere. Waves of waves, hanging from the chandeliers, crawling through the cracks in the floor, hiding beneath the trees or flying in the night sky. It's as if the very air solidified into an endless swarm of demons.

For just a moment, Lucy observes her servants. She relishes the moment, knowing what would follow. When she speaks, it's with the smug satisfaction of a job well done. For it might as well already be finished. "Tear them to pieces."

With howls and screeches the army slithered, crawled, and flew off. Trees sprouted in their wake, darkness cloaking their path. The Chaos Realm shifted under the sudden weight, new worlds of darkness and suffering forming, only to dissolve once they had passed. If they would not come to the Dark Woods Circus, the Dark Woods Circus will come to them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The creature hissed as Asura reformed, sensing it's hold slipping. It's fingers were pushed back up, no longer embedded into his forehead. He was pushed back as if by an invisible force, as Asura once more became whole. He screeched, having expected nothing more than an easy kill, an example to be made. But the tide had been turned.

With a mere step forward, Asura did more than any attack could have done. It was as if the being had been struck, and it cried out in pain as it's very existence was damaged. It stumbled backwards, before once more finding it's footing. And yet, when the creature looks up from it's wounds, it simply sneers with smug dissatisfaction. As if it had merely been pushed, stepping over a particularly distasteful dog. It was a look that Rick would recognize, for he himself had often worn it. It was the look of a man who'd just been annoyed, but didn't quite care enough to get angry.

"Looky looky here. Seems like we've got a tough guy." Mockingly, the creature bared it's jaws. "Looks like I'll just have to kill you the old fashioned way, eh?" It cocks it's head, smiling. It's wounds began healing, energy flowing into it from Lily. As long as the girl was alive, and the Chaos Realm molded her nightmares into reality, this being would be night impossible to permanently harm. Of course, the only one who truly realized the source of the being's power was Mortis, who could feel the emotional energy. A controlled flow, no doubt manipulated and stabilized by Lucy herself.

Mortis, he knew of what was happening. But, he held hope..something long lost to him, that the likes of Asura, Rick, and this Bird fellow could in fact hold off this singular nightmare. He felt the armada of fear and darkness coming to attack them...fear...horror...These emotions stung into his mind, like a blade into flesh..piercing something volatile. This surge of familiar darkness...dug up something....

"No...please, not her, anything but her! Strike me, cut me, crush me, kill me...just leave my little girl alone..."
"....You..she's...she's...dead......my little..girl...."

"........I'm sorry......"
I'm sorry.....

I'm sorry.....

I'm sorry........I will....AVENGE YOU!

Mortis flies even further into a frenzy, letting out a roar of absolute berserk. He rushes past the creature that Asura was dealing with, not thinking. He charged towards the hoard of nightmares, and demons. His hammer held high, he becomes a typhoon of destruction, the rage pulsing off of him like heat, disrupting the flow of other emotional energies near by. This was of course un-intentional, as he had little control over himself at the moment. His hammer would strike true, crushing that under it. For each demon he destroys, for each bone he crushes, he may endure a stab, a slash, a blunt strike, shattering something within him. He could not care less, as his rage dulled his pain to nothingness.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rick watched as Mortis rushes past the apparent threat, to go fight something off in the distance...whatever.
"Hey, scarecrow.....If anyone here is going to be collecting debts, it's me, for your cunt of a boss wasting my time..." Rick says, walking forwards, tearing though these threads like tissue paper. While the others had fear injected into their hearts, Rick felt..nothing. Fear, terror, these emotions could not start to touch the darkened heart of the man become monster.
His strange suit began to shift color, going from checkered, to pure white, as he drew a weapon. An absurdly large pistol, hidden within this coat. He holds the trigger down on the strange looking weapon, no projectile yet firing. Slowly, an energy bolt forms deep in the barrel, blue. Releasing the trigger, the huge bolt of radiation was let loose, as he charged up another shot, continuing his approach, a malice shown in his steps.
"After I kill you, I'm going to pay this Lucy a visit.... Maybe kill her....or I'll do far worse...maybe I'll make an example of her.....like I did a few weeks ago. Wish to hear of that event? Maybe it'll teach you to respect me..no..wait..fear, me." Rick says, grinning widely as he moves forwards.

Mortis shoots forward, a wall of flame following him. The trees burn up, the creatures screech, as he comes down like a living inferno. His hammer strikes the nearest creature, a giant centipede with a human face. The creature is blown away, disintegrating like a shadow before the rising sun. His fury burns, even as he can feel himself drawing on the rage of the Multiverse. His fist strikes like a Supernova, an explosion blasting outwards as hundreds of horrors are incinrated, their forms dispersing. And yet, even as he tears through them, there are always more.

A relentless clicking sounds, the constant rhythm seeming to pierce it's way through the inferno. Even over the screams and screeches he can hear it, like a nail being driven into his brain. The clack of shoes against the steel floor, the smell of blood and fear in his nose, coupled with a strange metallic, rusty tang. A black silhouette, lit by stark white lights, hung from a steel ceiling. Slowly he turns the screw in his head, even as a grin plays it's way onto his face, as it clicks into place. "Oh, what an interesting specimen we have here. Say, do you think grief is a physical thing? That it exists in the human body?" He chuckles, as a scalpel slips into his hand from his sleeve. "Don't bother answering, I intend to find out."

The berserk Mortis shoots towards this new threat, the floor under his feet turning to fire and brimstone, the air turning to noxious acid, his breath bringing a wave of heat. And yet even as he steps forward he can feel himself catching on hundreds of tiny threads as they cut into his body. Wrapping around him, tearing into his flesh. The figure grins, as if everything were merely proceeding according to plan, were merely proceeding logically.

Mortis ripped through his bonds, only to be interrupted by a wild cry. For unexpectedly an axe blade sprouted from his shoulder, as he was knocked onto his knees by the force of impact. He twists behind him to see a massive man, wearing woodsman's clothing, his burly arms pulling back for a second swing. He can feel earth covering him, pulling at him, the insects digging into his flesh, even as he realizes the ground is attempting to bury him alive. And even as the thought crosses his mind, he finds himself locked in a coffin of steel. He can see the ocean above, through the narrow slit, even as he bashes against the narrow confines. Even as he hungers, even as he screams for even the barest snatch of food.

But the fear cannot grab a hold. He can feel the power of the nightmares around him as they trap him, encircle him, lock him in. He can feel their strength, even as he rips through their petty illusions. He blasts them to pieces, but more merely come. He can feel himself being torn deeper into this world of darkness, and he realizes he is not fighting an army. He is not facing an enemy with numbers, for they would keep coming until the Multiverse ran out of horrors to dream of. He could feel it's net tangling around him, dropping from imaginary world to imaginary world, tearing and bashing and destroying all in his wake.

And yet, a single cold fear begins to work it's way into his heart. A single droplet of terror, a crack in his impregnable shield of rage. For he realized that something was coming that was worse than any army of nightmares. He could sense it, he could feel it. It was as if every animal instinct was suddenly accutely aware that his end was coming. The date of his death approached on dainty legs, at a snail's pace, weaving it's way down to meet him. And it seemed there was nothing he could do.

If he could not escape from the Chaos Realm before this terror caught up with him, he would undoubtedly die.

((Hint hint, nudge nudge))
---------------------------------------------------

@kishin asura@supertinyking
The creature steps forward again, grinning brightly. "I believe I-" With a blast of explosive energy, a wave of green radiation washes over the Nightmare. Even as the light fails the creature can be seen, half it's body burned off, reduced to nothing but ashes. And yet he merely recovered, the threads reconstructing him in mere moments. He simply takes a moment, as if he attempting to contain his annoyance, before glaring over at Rick.

Even as Rick was about to release his second blast, the floor gives way under his feet. He drops down, the blast of energy firing off into a random direction. His hand catches on the edge of the hole that had spontaneously appeared. The strain was immense, forced to hold up his entire body with one arm, unless he were to drop the gun. Beneath, far below him, he could see a swarm of ravening mouths, black slugs covered in razor teeth, buzzing around one another in anticipation of their meal. He was clinging on for dear life, as the Nightmare seemed to appear at the edge of the pit.

It glanced down at him with a sort of mock pity, the look he might have given one of his victims when they cried out for him to stop. It was strange, seeing the look mirrored on a face so similar, and yet so different from his own. He had an odd moment of reflection, before the creature lifted an elegant boot, and stepped on his hand, breaking all his fingers. The shattered with a sickening crunch under the sudden pressure, pieces of shattered bone piercing his skin in various places. "My, you really don't scare easily, do you? Well, let's see if you fear death. If not.... well, who cares anyway?" With a final sadistic grin, the creature once more lifted it's boot, preparing to stomp on Rick's one remaining hand.

Learning the new things this world had to offer was a fun experience. It was a little hard to believe in the things that existed, but she can't exactly deny what is right in front of her. At least she could probably figure out how to create these things, then sell them back in her world. Lina couldn't wait to show these new things to her friends at home, and raise her own fortune. Fighting Bandits was fun and all, but a girl needs to sit back and relax in her later years.

She was actually surprised by how decent she was treated during her time. The ruling faction was said to be corrupt, but she didn't see too many signs of this. Well, until this Colonel threatened her, and brought along two little lackeys to fire "las-rifles". She had been in far worse situations, but being surrounded by 3 people ready to attack her wasn't her favorite pastime. She could go with them, but not only was that boring, these men didn't really seem like the most trust worthy.

Now, how does a beautiful genius sorceress get away from this situation? By displaying her superior skills of course.

"Raywing!"

A quick spell could get you out of any situation. A gust of wind surrounded Lina, lifting her off the ground, and allowing her to fly at high speeds out of here. At this speed, nobody but an expert should be able to shoot her, but even that was irrelevant to Lina. The spell also acts as a barrier, protecting the caster from weak attacks. Now while these "las-rifles" might be powerful here, but even the most basic of spells had more destructive power than them.

" Well, I gotta run! Can't talk right now, but maybe next time! Seeya~! "
