@The Slenderman
Silas grinned at her awkwardness, glad to see he was starting to have as much effect on her as she did him. Yet there was a bit of fuzziness to the logic as well. "The problem is that this man knew to ask for it by name. And he seems like he's determined. No one with that kind of desire doesn't know what he's after. If he knew its name, he most likely knows its general appearance and significance, I would imagine."
Titan folded the wanted poster and tucked it away. He'd gotten what he'd needed from the general store and knew that this bounty was one he couldn't pass up. One woman, alive and he'd get 100,000 gold? And then a possibly additional 30,000 for the man. If his memory served him right, Titan knew the woman from the pawnshop, she had been the guard!
Then there was a search and seizure contract asking for a blade named Durandel. The reward was substantial for such a simple assignment and Titan was keeping his eyes out for any rumors of the kind. Tapping away at his interface, Titan summoned two dozen of his gears. Six were sent to patrol the area around the shop and the other dozen and a half to crawl through the alleys and streets. He'd scanned in the images of the couple so it wouldn't be long until he caught wind of them. He was in for a hell of a payday. He hummed tunelessly to himself, as he slowly walked through the streets. The bounty hunter had high hopes.
