Akkina looked at Silas and then tried to grab for something that might help her get back up and on her feet, She then reached for Silas again to try to get up. She was so weak, but with a condition like that, would she last all this time, She wanted to be, although there were people who were to rip Durandal from her control, She was determined to keep it with her at all costs. @WittyWolf

@Alamantus "Need I remind you that I own a small group of guards, but I will wait for them" Kyato just leant on the counter and waited for the guards that supposed to be coming for him, knowing that he could just bribe them away, he looked at Humphrey with a cocky look and then he started to laugh.

Humphrey noticed the tall man with the gun aimed at Kyato now and wished he could encourage him to pull the trigger and rid the world of another person like this. But Humphrey knew that would never lead to anything good. Instead, Humphrey clomped forward, bringing his reddening face close to Kyato's and shouted, spit flying everywhere,
"Listen here, you worthless little slug sucker, I don't know who you are, and I don't give one single damn. All I know is that I've forbidden you from returning and now you're here again! I haven't encountered someone as rude and unworthy of attention as you in a very long time, and I'm not going to sit around and let your Mary Sue little ass do whatever you want without some consequences!"

Three guards ran in the door at that moment, and one, seeing Kyato, stood back and waited at the door with worry in his eyes as the other two walked in and siezed Kyato's arms with an iron grip, impossible to escape. [Hi, this is the City Guard and therefore is GM word of God. Kyato can't escape.]

When the man had pulled his gun and sword, Silas had immediately pulled out an arrow and knocked it to his bowstring. He murmured a low incantation in a melodic language. A shimmering wall of light appeared in front of Silas. The barrier was a smallish orb that moved with Akkina, givering her about three feet. The spell didn't allow projectiles and hostile beings within the small dome of protection.

He heard the sound of fighting on the other side of the smoke.The man had not fired his weapon, but he had heard the quick whips that came from an experienced hand at the sword. After a score of breaths, he didn't hear Randy's footfalls and the now familiar sound of his gauntlets. Silas guessed the pair had run off, with his friend in pursuit. Hopefully the energetic man didn't take any risks. "Akkina, we need to get you inside. I can't protect you out here in the market with all of these pathways and alleys." He kept his back to the alley for now, checking the street before nodding to Akkina. "I think we're safe to cross back to Humphrey's now, we should leave."

Titan watched the encounter from afar, his Gears honing in on the anomaly. All eighteen of his searching creations had converged on the smoke cloud, providing ample coverage of the area that could be seen. They concentrated on Silas and Akkina, moving close enough to pick up his words. Titan almost smiled, this little town might be proven to be quite a profitable visit. Titan chose four of his drones to keep an eye on Kyato's business and trading posts. Two covered the entrances to the left and right, so Titan dispatched one more to hover over the doorway.

He had walked quite a bit of the Market in search of the bounty, finally settling behind the island of shops across from the tailor's. He spied two men running out from an alley. Sighing, Titan had realized that maybe this bounty was going to match its pay-off. He'd have to renegotiate with the bounty issuer. The man named Silas would be worth at least 50,000. He looked to be a deft hand at the bow and his knowledge of the arcana might be problematic. Drawing his explosive pistol, Titan took his own route to the shop.

@WittyWolf Akkina nodded in response to him and outstretched her arm to get up and began to walk with Silas and drew Durandal to have some sort of protection against the enemies that were soon to appear, She squinted her eyes through the smoke and seen a little bot that was floating around the area. She leaned against Silas a bit deeper and smiled lightly.

Randy nodded to Silas. "Humphrey's? The pawn shop? Let me double check it first." Randy advised before leaving Silas and Akkina. If Kyato knew who they all were, then he probably knew all connections too. When he himself got to the shop, he saw a guard outside. He walked up, to see what was going on. "Don't come any closer sir, there's an arrest in progress." The guard said. "Arrest? Who?" Randy inquired, hopefully it wasn't one of Silas's or Akkina's friends. However, he also spotted the tall guy with the shotgun from earlier, closing in on the shop. What's so important?

" Oh hey Randy" Kyato tilted his head back and smiled at him then looked at the guards who had restrained him " I'm a business man, take me back to my business, Jameson and Arick" Kyato said boldly to the guards, just two of the guards HE bought out. He grinned to Humphrey. " All I want to know is your shop guard's name, I'll go peacefully, get off of me"

Cheeky motherfucker. "You'll get what's coming to ya." Randy threatened to Kyato. He then looked at Humphrey, signalling to him that he needed to talk with him.

Shaking with rage, but powerless to do anything further, Humphrey turned his back and walked back to the sword case. He shook his head and waved an arm back at the guards.
"Just get him out of here. I don't want him anywhere near here."

The guards nodded, hoisted Kyato up by his shoulders, turned around and marched out the door, muttering to him as they went, "Sir, you don't pay us enough to get into trouble like this. We still work for the king and need to protect the citizens here. We won't arrest you, but please don't come back. Our commander was on his way over when we received that call, and if he heard, we wouldn't be able to protect you!"

After they had walked a good distance, the guards let Kyato down in front of the Tavern. They gave unenthusiastic salutes and walked back to their posts at the South Gate.

Humphrey turned back to watch the guards go and then spoke to those present.
"Sorry about that, folks! And you good sir, with the sniper. Thank you for waiting so patiently. We'll let the lady peruse the swords some more, but how can I help you?" @Slendy

Cheeky motherfucker. "You'll get what's coming to ya." Randy threatened to Kyato. He then looked at Humphrey, signalling to him that he needed to talk with him.

Humphrey noticed Randy and tilted his head at Dennis, signifying that he was busy and Randy should come inside and wait his turn.

"That's enough of that for now," Silas said, taking off his bowstring and buckling in his staff. He lifted Akkina easily, although she was a little heavier than what he would've thought. Silas attributed that to her sword more than anything else. The way seemed clear until they were nearly at the shop. The man stayed in the shadows of vendor, hidden by a few crates and passing pedestrians. "I've got you Akkina, don't worry." Quickly, he moved behind a few backs of shoppers, then a passing merchant wagon. Finally, Silas walked into the shop with Akkina in his arms. "Randy, when did you get here?"

@WittyWolf Akkina looked at Humphrey then looked at the back room, She needed protection from the bounty hunters that were chasing after her, then looked at the people that were in the Pawn Shop, it was a bit crowded in there for her, Akkina hugged Silas from her being that scared of the bounty hunters, She then dropped Durandal to the ground. "I'm scared, Silas, I'm really want to fight them bbut I am just too scared to do anything."

"You'll get over this Akkina. Don't overthink the fight to come, just be ready." Silas consoled her, patting her hair. He looked about for a secluded area of the store, spotting the newly constructed stairwell. "Don't let her sword out of your sight, Randy." He told the man, then proceeded to bring her up to her room.

@WittyWolf Akkina smiled happily and looked at them going upstairs and then began to slowly close her eyes and then turned her head unconsciously and began to sleep, She was somewhat safe from harm from her bounty attackers. The last movement she did before sleeping was press deeper into his chest .

Randy nodded to Silas as they came in. "I've got your back," He said. Meanwhile, he looked around the shop. It was nice, a lot more welcoming than his stall in all honesty.

KI's dinner at the Tai shop was exactly what he needed. He even got to dine with a beautiful young woman. Actually, they ate their food quite a good ways away from each other. She most likely never noticed his presence. But her presence was welcome enough.

KI left the shop via his motorbike, intent on returning to the pawn shop to peruse the gadgets he noticed earlier. As he cruised leisurely on his way, events started catching his attention. He saw a lizard boy fly out into the street from an alley way and into a pole. He saw smoke rising from behind some buildings. He saw suspicious flying bots patrolling the area. And as he came in sight of the pawn shop, he noticed guards on their way toward it. There was obviously some very important happenings going on.

In true style to his ancient ninja teachings, KI made no sign that he was interested in the sights around him, no more than any other passerby would be at least. And with the numerouse spy bots patroling the area, he decided it best to lie low and observe from afar. Sitting down at a table in the Windy Whistle Tavern, KI looked out the window, nonchalantly watching the outside of the little pawn shop. With his bike parked out of sight around the corner, KI felt safe that no one from inside the pawn shop would notice his presence.

A waitress came and took his drink order, being that he was too full to eat any more. While waiting for his drink, he observed guards leaving the shop with a young man. At first it seemed like they were going to arrest him, but instead, they had silent words with him and gave him a salute.

The waitress returned soon with his drink. He politely paid for his drink and left a generous tip as well. He then turned his attention back to the pawn shop. Through the windows he could see a few people walking around in there still. Careful not to stare or bring any attention to himself, KI decided to monitor the outside of the building, as it seemed to be a major point of interest. After a few drinks but before becoming intoxicated, he planned to go over and investigate further, under the pretense of browsing through the trinkets.

"I need some parts that can improve my sniper's scope and maybe a silencer?" Dennis requested stepping towards the man sheathing his pistol and laying his sniper on the counter. "Also does there happen to be a place around here where I can cash in a bounty?" He asked patting the side of his pistol. Dennis didn't want to feel like he was trying to make quick change but he pointed to the door. "That man who barged in here a few seconds ago is he bothering you? All you have to do is place a bounty on his head and I'll do the rest." Dennis said rubbing the trigger of his sniper. He could of shot him during the confrontation being who he was and would at most be billed for his actions but judging on how things went down killing him would only fuel a greater trouble.

Kyato sent a message to all of HIS guards to come straight to the Kyato Corp Business, he wanted to give them a raise to ensure that they worked for him NOT the king, he needed to get some officials on his side. But from Humphreys emotion he would be pissed and Kyato smiled to himself, And then posted a hit notice on Randy

Silas sighed when he saw how wary Akkina was as she awoke. He untied various knots and unwrapped his bedroll and blankets. He unrolled the mat, putting a blanket on the bedroll and laying down another for cover. "I'll be downstairs if you need me, my love." He took out a candle and a metal dish, placing it and a book of matches so she'd have light if she awoke late into the night.

He pattered down the stairs, wondering what could possibly go wrong next? Durandel was right where Akkina had dropped it. Taking the handle in hand, he lifted the heavy sword and rested it flat on his shoulder. "Thanks Randy, I'm glad I met you when I did." Silas grinned at his new friend. "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." He went back up the stairs, depositing the sword next to Akkina and crouched next to her. "Hey, how are you feeling?"

Titan was not too far from the shop, across the street and waiting in the shadow of the space between a couple of stores. He'd watched the Kyato man go in and out of the shop with the corrupt guards. Kyato was a new and upcoming name in the Market, his uncanny business skills promising wealth beyond his years.

His computer buzzed in a whir of gears, giving him an alert from the bounty board. There'd been another bounty issued, this one on the orange haired tinker in the pawnshop. The large man wondered what the best course of action would be, whether to announce his intentions, or try to capture the targets stealthily. He decided to wait just a little longer.

@WittyWolf Akkina smiled and sat up and looked confused at Silas " How are you able to lift without getting shocked" She put her fingers up to her face and ran her fingers across her chin questioning whether or not Silas was chosen by God as well
