Screams and call, neither human nor inhuman, but rather in between. The abominations gathered, sharpened their weapons and drank their fill from those that had already fallen. With each step corpses were crushed beneath his feet, his armour was smeared red with the blood of his enemies. Looking over the mangled piles of dead, both brother and beast, Valentus finds what he was looking for. The massive bloated body of a Greater Daemon of Nurgle lies, felled, before the rotten corpse of Inquisitor Drogan. The man had found them within the madness of the Warp, and he had fought by their side, and died with honour. His name would be remembered. Discarding his own beaten and broken Power Sword, Valentus picked up the Nemesis Daemonhammer wielded by the Inquisitor. He offered a brief prayer to the spirit of the weapon, that it might serve him unto death as it had the inquisitor.

The ship's AI informed him that he was the last of his kind remaining within the confines of the ship, or what was left of it. Around him were the bodies of his brothers in arms, and he knew he was soon to join them. He crouched beside the body of a brother terminator, filling up his ammo supply with the terminator's bullets. The souls of the dead had no need for weapons. All he could give them now was revenge. He planned to kill a Daemon for every brother who had fallen today, to avenge them in full before he joined them.

A mechanical voice rasped in his helmet. They were coming. The void shields had failed once more, and the abominations broke through into the main body of the hulk. He could hear them scampering, claws and hooves smashing into the metal floors. He went down on one knee, and offered a prayer to the God Emperor. That He might give him strength in these moments, that he might grant his protection even in this hellish realm of death and destruction. That he might once more be a beacon in the darkness. He would be His hammer, he would be the point of His spear. He would be the shield that stands unwavering, the sentinel that does not tire. He would be the last stand against the daemon, the mutant, and the heretic.

His opponent revealed himself, emerging from around the corridor. Massive clawed fists gripped a sword the size of a man. Daggerlike teeth filled the slobbering jaws of the beast. It's fiery eyes glared at him, even as it roared. The Greater Daemon of Khorne, a direct servant of the Skull Throne. In response to the challenge, Valentus raised his hammer in greeting.

The beast charged, and the metal melted under it's feet. It's claws rended the very space it passed through, the blade glowing with the might of the Chaos Gods. Valentus considered unleashing a volley, but mere bolter rounds would do nothing but slow it down. And he wanted to get this over with quick. he stepped forward, crying out as he swung his hammer. The two weapons met in the centre, the two champions matching strength as the very ground shook. Gravity seemed to fail, as Valentus felt the world falling away from him. For a moment he believed himself to be dead, that he fell away from his mortal body as he was dragged back to the Emperor's throne. But the feeling did not cease, and the blinding light did not abate. Was this some sort of purgatory?

And then, even as he had made peace with his death, he breathed in once more. His feet stood on solid floor, even as he heard the shouting around him. He felt his weapon in his grip, as his eyes adjusted. He could feel his heart beating once more, air rushing through him like water to a dying man. He knew then that he had not fallen, although he did not understand how.

@Stephanie Dola@supertinyking

Around him, several humans were gathered. There was what appeared to be some military force, using what appeared to be lasguns. They opposed a young woman, who appeared to be threatening him. The scene was familiar, reminding him of his own visits to Terra and the other Hive Worlds, and yet it seemed strangely off. As if the very air he breathed was alien to him. This was clearly a human world, and yet he could not see the insignia of the Emperor on the uniforms of the soldiers, nor were they using standard Imperial Guard equipment. Their guns were not modified, but rather deviated from the Standard Construction Template. Was this some militia force? Perhaps some task force of the Adeptus Mechanicus? And yet they lacked their insignia as well.

the mysteries of where he was momentarily threatened to overtake the question of how he had got here. Was this perhaps one of the Lost Worlds, a bastion of human civilisation that had not yet been discovered by the God Emperor? That was the only explanation that made sense, for such similar and yet strange technology to exist on an alien world. If that were the case, there was but one way in which he could have arrived here. His prayer had been answered, and the God Emperor had called him to duty once more. Not to die in fury and flame, but to unite the forces of mankind once more. To find those lambs who had been lost from the flock, and unite them once more under the watchful eye of the God Emperor of Mankind.

It must have been a surprising event for those who had been mere moments from conflict. In a flash of light and fire, a robotic titan appeared in their midst, covered in blood both human and alien. Stranger yet when the giant figure stood in silent contemplation for several seconds, seeming to think before deciding to address the colonel. The Paladin turned to the human soldiers, his feet crushing stone to gravel under the immense force of his weight. When he spoke his voice was deep and metallic, warped by his helmet. "Tell me, are the humans who live on this world yet pure of the influence of chaos?"

"................................................................" There is a long, drawn out silence from the dominion forces, including the Colonel, as they stare at the towering armored personification of ass-kicking before them. The Terminator stood much taller than any of them, and his armor, blood covered, strikes terror into them, except for the Colonel, who is trying to think of what to say to the man's question. "..We've..detected no corrupting forces within our ranks, no....any magic that warps the body and mind has been outlawed under imperial mage court order 57.332. I am guessing the chaos you imply, is one of those mystical forces." David manages to say, barely. One soldier, in particular, seems quite terrified of the two. A mage able to kill them all with ease, and now, this giant soldier of mass destruction? Maybe it was to much for them, as they aim to shoot Lina, however they never pull the trigger.

BAM!

The soldier's head explodes in a shower of red, and a tinge of grey, the Colonel's pistol smoking. "...The next one of you to try to shoot without my order, is going to be the One's personal punching bag, understood?!" David roars, and his men seem to be scared more of that, then the other two, as their composure returns.

Asura felt a worrying force within this realm. In the distance, far from the current fight, he swears he sees something....Someone with blue hair, in the distance, watching this battle. No one else seems to notice, but he does..almost as if, whoever it was, wanted to be seen by them.

The great beast loomed over the horizon, it's many mouths snapping at the sky as if to devour the sun itself. It's shadow was like an eclipse, it's form like the coming of a storm. Saito found a strange kinship in the sight, the great beast before him. So this was the legendary Yamato no Orochi, the great beast that had been sealed by Suanoo'O. He smiled, and recognized in the great mass of scales and teeth a rival, a beast that could match his full destructive power. It garnered his respect, but respect fell secondary to his duty. It was a challenge, as the beasts of the mountain he had defeated. It would be his opponent this day, and the storming skies would meet their match in the thunder of a thousand tons of hydra.

Beside him sat the Herald, silent as always. Quite frankly the silent samurai freaked the shit out of Saito. He just couldn't read the guy, couldn't understand him. And then there was that aura, as if the Herald knew he could kill every other person in the room. It was just unnerving, as well as frustrating.

Kiyoko was in his lab, making some last-minute preparations. The news of the beast had taken them all by storm (no pun intended) and the Dragon Guard had been gathered. The Emperor had refused to evacuate from his chambers, and sat on his throne even now. This city represented the power of the Empire, and if it fell it would not matter where he ran to. The Empire would fall with it's walls, and the heart of the Empire would die with it's people. It felt strange, all this responsibility heaped onto him.

Silently and calmly, his brother Kaito approached him. They were twins, and had shared all things in life. When he had gained the power of Fuusen, his brother had gained the power of Raijin. Wind and lightning, together they were the seeds of storm. Although his brother's new appetite for babies had always been mildly disturbing. "Brother! About time you showed up. Big lizard heading this way."

"Then we will kill it. It's nothing new, just on a bigger scale." His brother replied evenly, nodding towards Saito.

The other Dragon Guard had either been too far away or engaged in too important a task to be called up for this mission. Just the four of them would need to face this beast, and come out victorious. But hey, they were the Dragon Guard, the strongest in the Empire. Each of them bore the power of a God in their own right. The shit did they have to fear?

. . .

Why did she always get the freaks? Not only did she have to deal with this crazy Colonel and his men, but now there was a giant standing over her. Couldn't she just, deal with normal people for once? Maybe just a random civilian trying to mug her? She would even take a simple con artist trying to fool her. Truly, being this beautiful and powerful meant that freaks from all corners would gravitate to her.

The man himself was truly a giant, and would probably drive fear into any normal person. Lina was rather unaffected by the man's frame, nor the blood on his armor. She has stared gods down, so why would this man be anything compared to that? If anything, she was more interested in what the man said than what he looked like.

Pure of Chaos? That was odd. Chaos was the foundation of Lina's world, as well as the source of many spells. Chaos wasn't inherently evil, nor was inherently good, just a forever moving neutral power. The Lord of Nightmares was a powerful being, yes, and while she did wish for all to come to end, she wasn't a being of evil. Lina knew that first hand.

The Colonel's talk only further added to Lina's confusion. Outlawing magic that warps the mind? The body? What kind of Chaos did these people know? The Chaos these people were used to was much different than the one Lina knows, and they obviously had a hostile outlook towards it. It was for the best that Lina didn't mention anything about Chaos.

Out of the corner of her eye, Lina notices a solider take aim. She gave them a warning, and it seemed like this one screw up would be the cause for all of their deaths. Pity.

" B-"

Oh, it appeared that the Colonel dealt with him. They rest would get to live, for now anyway. Hopefully, no more would have to die, and Lina could escape and be on her merry way. She also hoped that nobody realized she was about to channel a spell. It was time to play it off as if she was going to start something else.

" B-banned magic? Good to know, I'll make sure not to cast any spells like that. I'm sure that is all you guys wanted to tell me. I'll just be on my way now, no need to hold all of you up. How about you guys go show our new friend here around, and I'll just go to another planet or something. No need to worry about me. "

Smooth.

Asura looks at the figure from afar. Since he probably wasn't close enough to communicate without yelling and giving their position, he decided to make contact another way

"are you just gonna stand there or what?" he asked. Well, not so much asked, but mainly creating an auditory illusion using his madness wavelength

The image distorts, slightly. Obviously, this thing was a part of the chaos realm..however, the distortion causes their hair to move around quite a bit, and as such, Kishin notices something else. Their hair is rather long..but after that, their image dissipates.

Elipse senses them as they approach the coast. The Dragon Guard await them, blade at the ready. Four incredibly powerful beings, each with the dark determination to kill whomever needs killing to accomplish their various goals. They were warriors, each of a different kind and each a master of their art. The battle ahead would not be an easy one. And Eclipse could sense some dark force working under the surface, manipulating events from just below the visible spectrum. As if some malevolent intelligence were laid into the land itself, pushing and pulling at the limits of probability, altering reality one tiny change at a time. It reeked of deception.

To the others, the sight of the city was a beautiful sight. Great towers spiraled up towards the sky, the enormous walls that surrounded the palace decorated with scales. The palace stood out over the rest of the immense city, shaped to resemble a dragon as it held guard over it's treasure trove. And yet no army stood to greet them, no great machines of war could be seen along the walls. Whatever defence the Emperor had gathered it was not yet visible.

the tension lasted up until the moment a tornado punched the hydra in the face. An immense torrent of air shot down from the sky, swirling and twisting at nearly supersonic speeds. A drill made of air, ready to tear through flesh and bone. It struck the hydra's head, and Yamato no Orochi screeched as it's head was pushed down into the surf. The attack failed to pierce the immense scales that covered it's body, but it signalled the start of the counterattack.

Immense blasts of lightning struck down from the Heavens, electricity arcing over the creature's skin. A being made of ball lightning seemed to jump from head to head, each punch resounding with the force of thunder. The God of Lightning could not be caught, the great writhing body snapping and twisting to face it's tiny foe. And yet with each blow the power of the Heavens struck down at it, scorching it's skin and knocking loose it's armoured scales.

The full force of the storm struck the Hydra, wind and lightning united, combined. Tornadoes struck like drills, and immense explosions of compressed air threatened to push even a being of such size off balance. And yet through it all Yamato kept moving, the force of it's legs propelling it forward through hurricane winds, uncaring for the minor wounds dealt to it's body. Like the stinging of insects, the efforts of insignificant beings. And, carried by it's own determination and hatred, it broke through this barrier of raging skies. An immense clawed leg lifted out from the shallow water, and placed itself on the land. The beast ever approached it's goal, and even as it was assaulted it continued it's ramming course for Aegis.

Even as this happened, the boat was tossed and turned by titanic waves. Using King's excellent steering and Blarg's control of the waters they were able to remain upright amidst the storm, but only barely. Then, just slightly after Yamato, they reached land. The hull ground against the sands, and the seemingly insignificant bulk of the ship was stranded on the land by the force of the storm. Those that had gathered there dismounted now, the world open before them. A battle of titanic portions raged just beside them, and in such a conflict their contribution might turn the tides of war, and change the face of the planet forever. Their actions here would reverberate in history for many centuries, should they choose to take action.

Above, watching the battle, Shiro sighed. He had hoped he had been wrong, that his gut had deceived him. But it seemed it once more proved it's value. The strangers that he had helped chase from the garden, the meddlers who had nearly cost him his life. They had returned once more, quite probably seeking revenge. But he had known, and he would stop them. Not on their terms, but on his own. Striking from the shadows, eliminating them one by one.

He gripped his blade in his hand and slid silently down the side of the cliff, moving from shadow to shadow. He would be the reaper who took their soul to judgement. Their threat would end here, and their legacy would be returned to ash. Any who opposed the Emperor were fools, and fools were not fit to live.

The ship rocked violently as the leviathan hydra moved passed it toward the shore. Eclipse held on to stay aboard just like everyone else. The vampire vanished in a blink, leaving the faint hint of a transportation spell behind him. Eclipse had sensed ambivalence from him, but no malice. Mithias had been honest about his belief that the giant sea monster wouldn't eat them. From Yamata, Eclipse sensed determination, and from the others, a mix of fear, curiosity, and confidence. The ship was dangerously close to the shore, and Eclispe realized it was going to run aground. There was no stopping that, but magic kept everyone relatively safe from the waves.

"Look out!" Eclipse shouted as the hull killed its momentum by ramming itself against hard-packed sand below. He reached a hand to grab Blargh from getting thrown off. Now that they were weren't moving anymore, Eclipse focused on what was inevitably in front of them. "There are four very powerful beings before us." He warned the others. "And I am not including the sea monster. They want nothing but to kill us, and the hydra, and I do not believe I have a good chance of convincing them otherwise."

Albert transformed and offered his scaly back for a ride. Eclipse decided to climb on. "Very well dragon, but steer clear of the four guardians. They will be focusing on the hydra. Their power is far beyond ours." Eclipse himself had expended a great deal of his power to defeat the raging wind elemental that had been sent to kill them, and he didn't have enough for another fight. Even still, curiosity drove him. He sensed something else was present with them at this battle, something old and powerful, something evil and sinister, and working behind the scenes. By all that was holy, it was his job to seek it out and expose it. Also, he could stick around to keep watch over his new friends.

"Come everyone." He assisted the other to climb up onto Albert. "The water will break this ship apart."

Mithias stood in front of Gorda, eyeing this mechanical being up and down. Immediately he thought of sending Gorda back to whence he came. It was his own damn fault that some strange alien was now free in his own, original world, and he had no idea what the consequences of that were. How powerful was Gorda? What could he do? What were his intentions? He seemed reasonable enough, and seemed to know a few things more than Mithias did about portals.

Thoughts of his own world came to his mind. There was an orbital space laser and a zombie apocalypse impending, both caused by the same rich and powerful vampire. That vampire needed to die. But there was also the terrifying Purge organization that made it hard to accomplish anything as a vampire, even hunting another vampire. As for exactly where Gorda "fit in" as far as usefulness was a complete mystery.

"Gorda." Mithias just wanted to see what kind of a reaction this got. "Would you help me kill someone?"

"You have done your duty, commissar." The sight of the man being shot didn't surprise him. Such things were common in the Imperial Guard, where disobedience or cowardice were met only with death. More importantly it seemed this realm had somehow remained untainted by Chaos, and had refrained from using the heretical powers of the Dark Gods. It seemed odd that the Dark Gods would not have touched this world, as they were present everywhere in the galaxy. Could it be that this world was protected by something? That the God Emperor's grace had guarded it's lost child, that it might one day return to the flock? Truly, it was a miracle. This was beginning to be a day of miracles, a blessed day.

There was a surge of energy. Rapidly the Paladin turned, energy surging through his power armour as his anti-magic wards flared to life. The girl behind him, the one he had originally dismissed as unimportant, had channelled powerful energies. And yet seemed not to have released them, instead acting as if she had never intended to cast a spell. Had she been intending a pre-emptive strike? No, more likely she had reacted to the gun aimed by the guardsman. So then this woman was on the wrong side of this world's militia?

Standard procedure was to kill heretical psykers immediately. However one had little chance to register with the Emperor when one did not know of His grace. As such mercy must clearly be extended. However, if this woman had broken the laws and drawn on the power of the Dark Gods, she was a threat to this entire world. Even a single Heretic could bring doom to a host planet, a single crack for the armies of Hell to crawl through. And if these people were truly untouched by Chaos, they would have no idea how to deal with the Daemon. There would be no defence, and another bastion of mankind would be lost to the darkness. The only reason he did not render judgement immediately was the fact that he had not felt the power of the Warp, although such things could be masked.

"You are a psyker. And yet your power feels... off." The figure stepped forward, energy surging through the anti-magic shields on his armour. "Tell me, what form of power do the psykers of this world channel? And if you would dare wield magic against the servants of the law, what form of mage are you?" The Paladin felt power surge through the Daemonhammer, as he prepared for what might turn into a conflict with a dangerous opponent. "Tell me, heretic. Is your calling to the Dark Gods?"

. . .

Did she anger the Lord of Nightmares? Or maybe this was all a dream? She honestly couldn't believe it was purely bad luck, she really couldn't. She had been in some unlucky situations before, some were far worse than this, but the odds of all of this happening at once was simply too high. How do you get transferred to a different world, get the military after you, meet a giant man who seems more confused then you were, and have him want you dead?

Of course, Lina was pretty sure she knew why he was asking her all of these questions. She had no real idea what a "Psyker" wise, but he instantly reacted when she was going to channel her spell. That must mean that a Psyker to him is a sorcerer in Lina's world, and where he is from, magic must be outlawed. If magic was outlawed, there must be a different kind of connection to it then the one Lina was used too. His reaction was totally normal given the circumstances, but that didn't mean Lina wouldn't give him hell if he tried to attack her.

Thankfully, it seemed like he just wanted to talk, despite tightening his grip on his hammer and stepping forward. In reaction to that motion, Lina took a few steps back. She could hold her own in a sword fight, but a giant hammer was probably more than she could handle with her short sword.

" You're asking a lot of questions, despite being pretty suspicious yourself. I'll answer your questions, but I hope you'll answer mine as well." Lina had to figure something out about this man, anything really. He was a giant of a man, and more than likely had some way to deal with these "Psykers", though she hoped that her magic would be much more powerful than anything they could do. If they really could do what Lina could, they'd be the ruling class instead of this Goliath.

" I'm not a Psyker, nor do I have any idea what one of those are. I'm not sure where you're from, but it isn't where I am from, which isn't here, so I can't explain to you what the Psykers on this planet, if there were any, used to channel their magic." Two questions down, and only two more to go. " I'll cast any spell needed to defend myself, even if they are servants of the "law". I personally don't find threatening an innocent girl who had done nothing wrong, other than be extremely beautiful and elegant, as something that is very "lawful". They were going to attack me, so I used magic to escape. If they try to attack me here, I'll eradicate them. It is really only self defense against corruption at this point. "

Now his final question was a bit of an odd one. Not only was she a heretic, but he assumed her allegiance was to these "Dark Gods". Now, in her universe there were Dark Gods, four main ones, and a bunch of those who served the main four. While some of her spells came from these Dark Gods, she would never say she was aligned to them, quite the opposite really. Lina served only Lina, anyone else really wasn't worthy of having Lina at their service.

" My calling isn't towards anyone other than myself. Now, I'm going to assume that our Dark Gods are different. I myself have killed one of the Dark Gods in my world, as well as 2 shards of another. Like I said, I only serve myself, and will defend myself if anything tries to harm me. It may be a petty bandit, or the most powerful god in my realm, they're nothing compared to me. "

Lina purposely neglected to mention her sister, as her sister probably would have killed all of these people by now. They were lucky that she was such a kind, generous sou.

" Now, I'd like to ask my own questions if you don't mind. What exactly is a Psyker? Why do you call them heretics? What is this "Chaos" you speak of?How does magic where you're from work? And What are these Dark Gods like?"

She had a lot more questions, but they were really more general than anything. Hopefully, he'd answer her questions, and they could leave this situation without killing one another.

The woman shot into a ramble about not knowing what a psyker was, and seemed to imply that she was not of this world. For a moment Valentus was confused, for he had surely felt her power, but then he realized that they probably did not know the term. She referred to her abilities as Magic, a term banned in the Empire, but Valentus realized this was not a confession but rather an innocent statement. It was clear that she was ignorant of the ways of the God Emperor, and was throwing the word about as if it were not inherently foul. After hundreds of years of searching for the guilty, this girl perplexed him. She acted with confidence despite being faced with an Astartes, an Angel of Death. She spoke of facing the powers of the Law as if she were entitled to defend herself. Was she a heretic, a criminal, or a fool? No such person could ever have lived within the Imperium of Man and lived.

However, the most shocking part of all was when she claimed to have killed a Dark God. The very concept was a foolish dream, their existence an immutable fact of reality. The Ordo Malleus had been striving to face the Dark Gods for thousands of years, and yet had constantly been faced with their immutable, immortal nature. There was no way to kill the Dark Gods, nor to even face them in their own realm. All that preserved the worlds of man was the barrier that prevented them from fully manifesting in the material world, and the guidance of the God Emperor that still battled them from the Golden Throne. Her mention of shards went right over Valentus' head as he contemplated how one could so nonchalantly state to have done something impossible, and yet he could sense no lies from her.

Perhaps, he thought, she had referred merely to a Daemon of some sort. The Daemon Princes or Greater Daemon had often allowed themselves to be worshipped by mortals, attempting to draw them into the influence of Chaos. And her mention of four Gods seemed to fit in with this idea, as all the Princes but those who served Khorne could lead a cult, as the Daemon of Khorne knew nothing outside of the slaughter. The idea that she might stand up to a Greater Daemon, or even a Daemon Prince, however, was simply ridiculous. Only the very greatest among the ranks of the Imperium were able to face the horrors of a Greater Daemon alone, and none were able to face a Daemon Prince.

However, among the waves of confusion did come some information of use. She did not claim allegiance to these beings she believed to be the Dark Gods, and whilst she certainly possessed the vanity and self-centered greed of a servant of Chaos, she seemed to be telling the truth when she spoke of where her loyalties lay. Briefly the idea passed by that she could be a Primarch, one of the lost children of the Emperor himself, granted the power to face even the most deadly of foes. However it wasn't possible. All the Primarchs had been found, and there were no female primarchs to his knowledge.

Her ignorance came to the forefront when she displayed it to him. She knew nothing, and yet for once he could not hold her accountable. Were the circumstances normal he would have killed her without a word, simply for having gathered power while in the presence of a member of the Inquisition. But the Emperor knew Grace and Mercy, and those who are ignorant must be taught. For now she would be forgiven for her heretical ways, and only if she refused the mercy of the Emperor would she be eliminated.

"A psyker is one who wields the power to connect to the warp, to draw on the primal powers of creation and thought. Those who can manifest their will in reality by drawing power from this realm, without falling to the madness of the Chaos Gods who dwell in that place. I believe you to be a Psyker, and yet you are unaware of the term. Only those Psykers who lose their minds to the madness of the Warp are heretics, those that leave the grace of the God Emperor of Mankind and turn to the corruption of Chaos." He explained it clearly, but briskly. It seemed common knowledge to him, every child in the Empire grew up fearing the Chaos Gods. But those of this world had been fortunate enough never to feel it's touch, and as such were given the blessing of ignorance. But all blessings come to an end. "The Chaos I speak of comes from the Warp, it is the power of the Dark Gods. These beings are the unholy creation of the sin of mankind, their weakness, their hatred, their petty greed manifest into beings of immense power and immense evil. They cannot manifest in this world, but they tempt the weak of mind with promises of power, or release, of knowledge. Their cults invite the Daemon, arcane servants of the Dark Gods, who would rage and pillage across entire worlds, leaving nothing but plagued wastelands in their wake."

He would remain silent, for the moment, of the Traitor Legions. Those of the Astartes who had betrayed their Father, and joined the service of the Dark Gods. It was important, for now, that they knew to trust him. He would form their link to the Emperor, and these children would be lead back into the fold. Even if the powers of Chaos could not reach here, or had not yet found this world, no doubt the xenos races would not be so kind. It was but a matter of time before a Tyranid Hive Fleet or an Orc Waagh raged through this Sector, destroying all life that was not granted the protection of the Space Marines.

he turned to the Colonel. "Tell me, Commisar. What is the state of this world's defences, and how many men do you have at your command. I will need to ensure that this world is prepared for whatever may come before I speak to your leaders. While this world has remained for now, my coming might herald the coming of those that oppose me, and the Emperor I serve. The Emperor has sent me to protect this world from whatever cataclysm might be coming, and I intend to ensure that not a single soul falls to Xenos or Heretic."

"Everyone and no one Gorda. This world is fucked. Even if I had the power to slay all the murderers and avaricious bastards on this planet, there would always be more, from both species, and I'd have to end up killing everyone." Mithias suffered from one of the curses of immortality, a loss of sense of purpose. He was disconnecting with his sense of attachment and eventually self identity. "Maybe I don't really care what happens." He looked down. "Everyone I have ever known or loved as died or abandoned me. There is no point in my being anywhere. Maybe that's why this 'gift' has happened to me." He looked back to the castle for a brief moment. "Not even other immortals really mean anything to each other."

He began opening another portal. "I don't even care. I either move now, or I die. Goodbye, Gorda."

@Snarfulblast
King leaps onto Albert's back, gripping his crossbow, and using his runic boots to keep himself planted, standing on Albert.
"Ready to give'em hell? All I need is some good shots at the enemy...." King says, grinning.

"Sir, including our reserve military, we have over two hundred million men stationed, with many different verity of armored vehicle, all armed with up to date Laz-Weaponry, or Magi-Buster weapons, able to smash most mystical foes. I'll arrange for a transport ship to come, and pick up both you, and our guest here, the mage with a mouth. She's been spying on us, evaluating our power. We think she may be a clone spy..." The Colonel says, before, coming out of a stealth-ed state, the mystery person appears atop one of the gunships. A woman in clothing that would denote her as a priestess of some sort, holding in one hand, that which would look to be a branch from the tree Lina was standing near.
"Sorry to crash this party, but I think the Lady there would much rather get going without having to deal with you, David." She says, with a slight smile, before doing something that shocks the soldiers there. Using her branch, she slices though the gunship, cleaving into it, causing its systems to fail. As it spirals out of control, she, moving like a blur, slices though the other ships, giving Lina a chance to run.

Far above, a strange looking space ship would appear, also having been in stealth. Its cannons fire down at the Dominion gunships after they crash, killing the crews inside which were already attempting to escape as to fight on. It honestly would look alien to all those there, it looking something akin to an Eldar vessel....

White Rabbit would be able to watch this unfold from a drop ship, waiting for such this moment, this signal, to deploy along with the 30 or so clone soldiers there, ready to ambush and capture the Colonel. With her, another member of Omega squad. Lucien, the warrior of the sun sits across from her, sword at the ready. "Are you ready to go? It seems the fight is starting..." Lucien asks, him opening one of the doors in the drop ship, the many troops around her seeming rather excited to take the fight to the enemy for once. It seems they are waiting on her words....
