Your username... It isn't a reference to the works of Brandon Sanderson perchance, is it?

Yes :] Here are the open positions

*genders available are a personal preference of mine to keep the RP balanced. They are debatable.

This peeked my interest ^.^ And I have a question right off the bat. Is it possible for a character from the fair folk to align him or herself with the allegiance or the exiled? I love your signature by the by very cute

Why yes. Yes it is, Commander ;D I'm glad you caught that, but the spelling is actually "wrong". In the newer editions of the Mistborn series (as well as on the 17th shard) it is spelled Andonalsium (A-don-al-sium versus A-don-as(s)-ium, the way I pronounce it) But I remember reading the book back in my freshman year of high school and clearly seeing "Adonasium".

Personal preference, I guess, but enough of me rambling!
P.S. Do the Whispers remind you of the Seon from Elantris on Sel?

Question, Where will we be starting out and all that? I like to know beforehand so I can get an idea of what the character should be doing, the setting, mood, and if I should have NPC's be doing anything significant. Also, a map would be nice, it also helps me visualize the setting and what the character should comment on ("man, it's hot down this far south, he thought opening up his collar a bit", That shorta shit, you know?)

Also, fine, I'll bite. I'm interested in Alden. He's the Fair Folk leader, yes?

Well the Fair Folk play their own role in the War of the Bloods. Although the idea is that they are mostly neutral, they do/will participate in battles with both the Allegiance and the Exiled. So... I guess the answer to your question would be no. They follow Alden faithfully and agree to his strategies/ideals. Thank you :)

We will be starting 15 years after the Betrayal. Rorick is 25, Alden would be 22, and Lilith just turned 20. The three respective armies have grown and adapted throughout that time, but the chars created should be fairly new recruits. They would most likely have grown up favoring a side, but the law is that a citizen must by 18 years of age to fight in the War of the Bloods. I can maybe sketch out a rough map if that would help, but it will be a few days. As for your question about Alden, yes, he's the leader of the Fair Folk. PM me for more information if you're wanting to audition for his slot.

Yesh!
Also, this could be considered lazy...OR, hear me out, really perfect and awesome. I've found a map (I really like) that could be slightly adjusted to fit the Kingdom of Trinity. I'm not sure what this originates from, but it's called Hytanica.

Because I'm not skilled enough to know how to properly edit the image, here's a key.

Kingdom of Hytanica= Shatterfell Castle and home to Rorick Shatterfell and his Allegiance
Kingdom of Gourhan= Trinity Chapel and home to Alden Shatterfell and his Fair Folk
Kingdom of Gokyrs= Fort Gifre and home to Lilith Shatterfell and her Exiled

Koranis's Estate= ?? Trader
Cannan's Estate= ?? Market

The names of places can be debated and chosen by all of us. I like the differing terrains. The Allegiance is mostly forests and plains, the Fair Folk is valleys and lakefront, and the Exiled is mountains and desert. The river separates us all fairly equally, and the Trader/Market is equidistant for all classes (depending on routes taken) There are bridges in place for travel into each territory, and we can discuss bylaws for border protection etc etc. What do you guys think? Am I just too excited that this seemed to work out so perfectly?

Why, no, it couldn't possibly be. :P I'm like peeing my pants in anticipation for Words of Radiance. Have you read the sample chapters yet?

Remember when they pull out the "armor" from under the bridge and don it right before they get to the Chasmfiend? Remember how the Parshendi hate their dead being desecrated? And, no, I haven't read anything yet. Been super busy and haven't had the time to check it out, though I do know the release date. Gonna pre-order it and finish all 2000 pages that night.

I like the map, though I had to zoom in to read it, but it didn't lower the quality that much so I can still make out stuff. I think, unless we find an easy way to edit the image, we should just stick with their names. Easier to point out locations and such.

And yes, I am interested in playing Alden. I'll send you the PM tonight.

Oh yeah! I remember now. And you're a madman, but I'll probably do the same thing. Is it really 2000 pages? Or are you talking about rereading Way of Kings and then jumping straight into Words of Radiance?
