What gave you your power?: He likes to be alone, but the day before he went to a family reunion. There were dozens of people around and they just wouldn't leave him alone, especially the children. He just wanted them to get away from him, and wished he could make them back off.
That night he had a dream that he was fighting people. He kept knocking them back with beams from his hands, but they kept getting up. Eventually he got extremely nnoyed and tried firing it two-handed. A ball of red energy formed between his hands, the color shifting like a glowing piece of coal, and when he fired it the man was blasted backwards. He looked at the man and saw that his chest was torn apart, like the guy in "Alien", but far worse. The shock of it woke him up. When he tried to push himself up so he could climb out of the bed he was pushed out of it by those same blue beams.

Personality: He's an anarchist, and doesn't have a lot of respect for authority figures, especially those that use force to maintain their power. He likes to learn how things work and likes to build things. He's not a violent person, preferring to solve thing through logic and negotiation. He will use violence to defend himself and others, though.

Bio: He went to tech school to learn to fix machines, including electronics. After that he got a job working in a factory, keeping the machines running. It's a boring life, at least until he got his powers. Then the government sent SWAT after him and he went on the run.

Personality: An evil man in every sense of the word. What Frank does now, and what he's done before, has bred a man with a sick sense of cunning, humor, and sadism. He's the devilishly charismatic type, experienced in making deals and building bridges with all the wrong kinds of company. And above all, he is never one to give up on a goal until it's fulfilled.

Bio: The details of Frank's early life prior to both his "career", and the current events taking place, are kept well under wraps. The most anyone could ever find out with some hard-to-find info would be his role as leader of an organization called "the Sunflower Group". And in a figurative sense, Frank's beginning and the Sunflower Group's founding are tied together.

The Sunflower Group is a combination of a bounty hunting team and an auctioning company. Relatively small and lacking in reputation, though they intend to remedy both of these issues. Human abduction and trafficking have been their mainstay, but after the introduction of power-wielding individuals just this week, their interests shifted. It didn't take long at all for a plethora of unidentified organizations and no-names to put their requests on the market for these newfound "anomalous specimens", which has tipped off many illegal operational forces as to their existence. The Sunflower Group was one of the first to jump on the wagon, and even though it has only been days since the discovery, they are eager to make a profit off of it. Frank himself, especially.

Basically the light is a universal hindrance for his power, the sunlight is the biggest hindrance that is able to exist, artificial light such as flashlights or lamps, depending on their brightness would also be weaknesses, UV light is a grey area for this weakness, it is somewhere within the boundaries of the sunlight and an especially bright floodlight.

The power of data manipulation is a tricky one to control and use. It involves the ability to gain access to digital devices and computer systems. The power can include Data constructs, downloading data, creating AI etc but only through touch of said electrical device. If he has acquired a digital form by charging himself through a device however, he can control and manipulate computers and mechanics from a distance, though its range is unspecified. It is possible that the ability can work on guns and mechanical objects as well through electrical signals similar to that of a computer, but it is untested.

What gave you your power?: Jason wanted nothing more than to help the worlds security. He devoted as much time as he could to computing and began to fall behind on school studies. Soon after he began to lose friends and became more and more secluded from the outside world, spending more and more time coding and developing software. It was rumoured that both NASA and the CIA had used his software and data encryption tools before, but it is only speculation. One day, he was contacted by an organisation that called themselves SOUL and asked if he could create software capable of hacking into supercomputer level security. They were willing to pay a large amount, and he desperately needed the money. But he couldn't crack that level of security. It was that night his powers emerged.

Personality: Solitary, secluded, not particularly social.

Bio: Jason was born into a poor family somewhere in LA. His family had trouble living, and Jason found an aptitude in coding. He began creating different products and selling them to companies so that his family could live better. As he continued, his mother passed away from illness and his father moved away, leaving him alone in the apartment at the age of 11. By the age of 13 he was living sufficiently on his own, eating every other day and going to school like an ordinary boy. He became more and more secluded, coding more and more and becoming a generally sheltered guy. He would only leave the apartment for shopping and school, which he only attended 3 days a week. Eventually his grades began to drop and he began showing signs of mental illness. He couldn't afford a psychiatrist and no one could know he lived alone for fear of being sent into foster care. His projects became used in both NASA and the CIA, where he was paid decently but not enough to live completely. He became well known in underground hacker groups under the alias "Dracula", a reference to his key hacking method - draining the target of all data before wiping and discarding it.

One day he was contacted by a group called SOUL, an underground hacking society he had made contact with before and made dealings with. They requested for him to crack a supercomputers security, which was clearly beyond his skill. Despite his talent, he was only a boy at the age of 15 and he could only take so much. They sent him pictures of his home, becoming abusive and constantly sending threats to him. Jack kept trying, but just couldn't crack the security on it despite using his most powerful skills. One night, he fell asleep at his computer trying to crack the security again. This time however, he didn't stop using the computer. In his sleep he kept typing and kept trying to crack the codes that had been set in place; and he did it. It opened and something awoke inside Jason. He had just hacked a supercomputer, and all its uses were his to do what he would with. That was when his ability awoke, and the energy of the computer flowed unto him.

Power: Fire Manipulation

What gave you your power?: Eric suffers from PTSD from his time in the military. The day before his power awakened Eric was having a bad day as his PTSD was triggering more than usual. He was seeing fire everywhere and just wanted it gone, he wanted to make it go away and desired nothing more than to get away from it. That night he was racked with the same nightmare that has plagued him since he returned home from Afghanistan.

Personality: On the outside Eric is an easy going guy who likes to smile and have fun. Everyone around him sees him as the nice guy who's always laughing and always willing to offer a helping hand. On the inside though he is haunted by what he has seen, and the mistakes he has made in his life.

Bio: Eric was an average student in High School, never doing anything remarkable, but always able to make passing grades. He joined the Army right out of school where he showed a quick mind and a knack for leadership. His first Duty Station was Graphenwhoer Germany and soon after he was deployed to Afghanistan. This is where he witnessed an event that would change his life forever. It was five months into his deployment where he witnessed civilians being dragged out of a truck and burned alive by Taliban forces. Their reason? Because the civilians were bringing supplies to Eric's unit. Unable to help Eric screamed at his superiors to do something, they refused, so he was left screaming with those innocent people until they could scream no more.

Now Eric fights nightmares and flashbacks of that day almost on a daily basis. He fears fire, and thus fears his power, powerful as it is. When the government came for him and others like him he almost went with them. What stopped him was seeing how they dragged a little girl away from her family. This caused Eric's power to come forth to defend the girl, much to his own living horror. He had become the thing he feared the most. Though he fights to defend those like him now, he does so without the use of his power, less his own flames consume him.

Power: Localized time manipulation.


What gave you your power?: Being 89 years old with failing health it's hard not to think about all the missed opportunities. Not ready to die Edith wished she could just turn back the clock before her time was up. She just wanted more time. Thus her ability is motivated by self preservation, primarily fear.

Personality: To some extent she is having to find this out herself. A second chance at life means she can be an entirely different person. Still she does tend to act more mature that most would expect and can come off as bossy or a know it all. But that is to be expected when she is dismissed as a teenager.

Bio: Edith has quite a few stories to tell. Most of them she keeps to herself nowadays for obvious reasons. She would either be found out or considered crazy. But on a rare occasion she might tell you of the factory she worked at Post-WWII, or some of the less interesting secretary work. She's had the chance to do a lot.

But for the past several years Edith did not do much of anything. She was retired and in a nursing home enjoying what life she had left to live. However being as old as she was meant that her health was waning. On more than one occasion she had to go to the hospital for medical treatment. It was during one of these visits that she contemplated death and wished it didn't have to end. Going to sleep was normal enough but waking to find herself young again was a shock to be sure.

Managing to find something for clothes she left without anyone really bothering her. As far as anyone knows Edith Rendel simply vanished from the hospital without a trace. It didn't take long for Edith to figure out what the government was up to from the "news report." So she dressed the part and tried to stay low. Thankfully her new ability was more subtle than some of the others. But she still had to be careful because she still didn't quite understand it fully.

Skills: Sasha has some fighting knowledge due to various MMA and Jiu-jitsu camps that her brother basically forced her into. So she's competent in hand -to-hand combat, nothing to be afraid of, but probably not smart to underestimate.

Power: Self-replication: Sasha can instantly and perfectly replicate herself numerous times. They are perfectly identical clones to herself, meaning they wear the same clothes she does when she replicates. She has the ability to remove her copies as quickly as they were made. Biological properties are exactly the same, and she has complete control over them. Copies always cooperate because they posses the same minds and goals. However, the more she makes, the more energy it takes out of her, and the harder they are to control.

What gave you your power?: Sasha dreamed of being in a hundred different jobs, being all over the place, because she thought her talents were so multiple and diverse that one profession simply would be wasting her skills. Also contributing to that dream is that she's come across many people that doubt her capabilities, and she just wants to prove them all wrong, if only there could be a hundred versions of her.

Personality: The constant doubting of her abilities from her peers has turned her into a determined and cocky person. If she does something worthy of your attention she'll let you know she did it. She can seem to be a mean person but her exterior of arrogance is only a shield and helps her achieve her goals. She can be a kind person if her walls are broken down by compassion and she is approached with kindness.

Bio: Sasha grew up with strict parents and an intense brother who often encouraged his sister to be the same. She was hard-working herself, excelling in school and in athletics. Despite her success, she was still really never given credit for her abilities by the "friends" she surrounded herself with. Leading up to the awakening, Sasha worked several odd jobs, the last one being a bartender, but the second she discovered her powers she dropped the job.

Now she gets to surround herself with... Herself. An alternative she prefers.
