Shizuka Otonashi || Otonashi Residence || May 23 SAT: After School

Lying on her back atop the bed with a PSP in hands, Shizuka was deeply indulged in the latest edition of this one otome game with pop idols as your possible love interests while the female main protagonist you play as is their composer. This edition had several new love interests to choose from and each individual having their own unique, romantic story. Shizuka giggled softly and blushed from time to time from the cliche shoujo lines the voices spouted. Cliche yet still effective on this innocent maiden who has yet to experience her first romance.

"Ah... These main protagonists from these otome games are blessed from having such cute, romantic experiences with these love interests..." Just as she was daydreaming about the possible romantic shoujo experiences that she would like to have, a knock came upon the door to her room. In a slight panic, she slid the handheld device under her pillow before sitting up right on the edge of her bed. "Ahem... You may enter."

The door opened as a maid bowed before entering, going directly to the point of her intrusion. "Pardon me for my intrusion, young mistress, but a young man by the name of Rui Shinichi is asking for your presence at your mother's tailor shop. Although... He mentioned 'Shizu', instead of your full first name."

"That would be no problem, I'm definitely sure he was referring to me. Thank you for informing me," she bowed her head slightly in gratitude before the maid herself bowed to excuse herself and left the room. "Alright, time for me to work on my tailoring skills."

Shizuka Otonashi || Otonashi Tailors || May 23 SAT: After School

Upon entering the store premises, Shizu, who was dressed in a casual dress with a twin braided red wig, asked the staff where they had Rui wait for her at. After being directed towards her mother's office, which was usually empty due to her frequently going off to fashion shows and conferences, Shizuka opened the door to the office to find the upperclassman seated at the chair across her mother's desk.

"Good afternoon, Shinichi-senpai! Sorry to have kept you waiting, I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience to you. I've brought the final sketches of the designs with me so please pick one that you want first, with your preferred color while I start with the measurements." As she handed over the sketches to the other and picked up a tape measure, paper and pencil from her mother's drawer, she paused in her movements once she was before the male. Shizu started to stutter as her cheeks blushed a light pink color.

This being her first time to tailor clothes for other people, this was the first time for her to take measurements of someone else, and someone from the opposite gender at that. This might be a little difficult than she had originally thought.

Otonashi Tailors - After School
23/5/2015 Saturday

The establishment was quite nice, and a little fancy. It seems they did from formal to traditional styles, but were more specialized to fashion and formal. Although she said this was her mother's shop... Except her mother was nowhere to be seen. On the other hand he found himself waiting while the shopkeeper called for Shizu, and he was whisked off to one of the offices. He waited there for awhile, at least ten to twenty minutes, so he had plenty of time to admire the decor.

After awhile, Shizu finally showed up, she was in her casual wear. In comparison to her maid outfit it was more innocent.

"It's fine, your mother has good taste in decoration", he said. He probably looked at that dress over there several times already. She handed him the final sketches for him to look at and likewise he did look at them... Well, if it came down to preferred colours, probably black? And charcoal gray... Maybe red...? Or would blue suit him better? Hmmmm...

At the moment he was too engrossed to really notice anything else.

Shizuka Otonashi || Otonashi Tailors || May 23 SAT: After School

A soft smile made its way upon her features at the compliment from the upperclassman as she replied, "Oh, thank you, my mother tries to keep her office neat and presentable for the clients that may come in." A moment later, the smile faded as she faced her dilemma with Rui not noticing the flustered Shizu fidgeting with the tape measure in her hands. Sure, it's just measuring the lengths of someone purely for tailoring use but... the poor maiden becomes embarrassed merely from little physical contact from even friends.

After deciding that waiting here, stammering like a fool with the tape measure in hand was not gonna be of any help in starting her tailoring career, her shaking lips part to speak once more. "S-Shinichi-senpai... T-This'll be my fi-first time doing this so... P-Please forgive me for my lack of e-... experience." The maiden's cheeks were of deep rosey hue as she struggled to speak, her gaze lowered to the floor.

Not too long after, her hesitant hands started to wrap the tape measure around the male as she scribbled down the numbers on a sheet of paper. While her hands were expertly moving to measure each length and circumference, it was evident from her movement and quivering arms that she was not going to get used to this any time soon. Hopefully, she didn't have to measure people as often in the near future.

Otonashi Tailors - After School
23/5/2015 Saturday

The way she said that made this a very different experience than getting someone's measurements should be. He straightened up, either fearing she can somehow mess up, or just out of nervousness.

"If you say it like that, you'll make me nervous too...", he responded. As she took his measurements though, she was quite good, she didn't miss a beat, and it was quite quick. She was silent the whole way though, likely out of her own nervousness. After the measurements were taken and they had a moment to recompose, they talked about the designs she finished up. After awhile the time passed and the shop's closing time came, so Rui had to leave.

>You felt a little closer to Shizu...

"Alright, I'll see you again another time, I look forward to see how it turns out", he said, before disappearing into the street.

Warakuma High - Morning
25/5/2015 Monday

There was a fuss around the noticeboard. It seems the exam results had come in. They were organized by class and placements. The placements were only outlined for the top ten though. It seems Rui managed to make it to the top ten. Already everyone who made it there was given looks and talked about for awhile. Though Kotori who was also in his year was the only one out of all the years to have a perfect 1st place... He also saw Noboru barely managed the pass mark at 60.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High School - Main Entrance | Monday, May 25 2015 - Morning

Kotori stifled a yawn on the way to school. Even with the midterms done, she still hadn't been able to really calm down; leaving her restless over the whole weekend. She'd spent equal measures of time trying to focus on the book she was reading as she had on reviewing her notes and textbooks just to make sure that she'd really gotten that one problem right which she hadn't been sure about at the time. Between that and another tiring appointment on Saturday, she'd found herself in a constant state of unrest - even tending to the flowers in the back of the shop hadn't quite the calming effect that she'd hoped for. Still, she pushed those thoughts aside as she headed to school - what was done was done and there was nothing that could change the results after all, no matter how many mistakes she may have made.

Arriving at school, she noticed that there was a crowd gathered at the noticeboard - whilst it wasn't unusual to find various small groups of friends meeting up there before heading to class, they were all in one place this time. Kotori quickly realised the cause of it - undoubtedly the results of the midterms. Some of the students spared the list just a glance to check for their own names whilst others hung around to discuss the results amongst themselves, making it rather easy to get close enough to read the list over. "First years... second years... class 2..." Kotori mumbled almost soundlessly as she scanned the list for her own class - but didn't find her name in the usual spot of fourth or fifth. A little disheartened she looked further down but didn't find her name there either - causing her to slump ever so slightly. She really had made some mistakes - and enough to make her score too low to even be listed.

At least, that's what she'd thought as she turned to walk away and nearly walked into a classmate; giving a small bow in apology as best she could amongst all the other students before heading off to class - or she would if said classmate didn't recognise her as well. "Ah, Shirohane-san? Congratulations!" Kotori blinked a little confused at him, the odd remark catching her off-guard as it took her a moment before responding. "Eh? Uhm, th-thank... you?" she said - before noticing that a few more eyes seemed to be turned her way. Both uncomfortable with the sudden attention and rather confused about its reason, she glanced back at the test rankings - and this time scanned her class' list upward rather than down from her usual placement. "...eh?" was all she could say when she saw her name.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High School: Classroom 2-2 | After School

Terrible - that would be the simplest way to describe the school day for Kotori. Not only had she felt more than a few pairs of eyes laid on her throughout the day, but the teacher had even taken the liberty to read out the listing; as if trying to make absolutely sure that she wouldn't be able to escape everyone's notice. Had she not felt such scrutiny, she might have realised that such attention was likely just going to be fleeting and not malignant, but it still felt as if half the school was staring at her to the quiet girl. She practically buried her face behind her textbooks all throughout the day; trying to make herself as invisible as possible - though not very successfully, much to her chagrin.

Kotori felt no small measure of relief when the bell rang and signalled the end of the school day - at which point most people's interests turned to less school-related topics instead. Much as usual, she packed her things only after finishing her notes - which she'd had to hastily decline lending to one or two classmates throughout the day; a request she hadn't expected - albeit with a slightly more tired expression behind her glasses for once. Still, the school day was over and the classroom was quickly emptying out - all that was left was one place which would at least prove quieter.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High School: Agriculture Club | After School

"Excuse me..." Kotori said in a low voice, slowly opening the door following a brief wait after her initial knock and then entering the clubroom. Much as expected, she saw Matthew already present and busying himself with watering the plants that were found all throughout the room - including another new one or two on the table in the center of the room. With her entrance being as quiet as ever, it was only when Matthew actually turned around that he noticed the girl now seated at the table and looking the potted flowers over. "Ah, if it isn't our little Miss Highscore!" he said with a wave, both his tone and smile holding his usual cheer. Kotori merely gave a rather wry half-smile at that before answering. "Ah... th-thank you, Harvester-senpai," she said, giving a bow as well as she could before returning her attention to the flowers before her.

Ayano Wakahisa: Warakuma High

Monday, May 25th

Arriving at the lobby of the school, Ayano was nearly shocked awake when one student began to shake her hand at a rapid speed, making her stumble quite a bit....The student was saying something along the lines of,

"Congratulations, Ayano-chan!

Congratulations? What's the celebration? Did she miss the memo or something? Looking around, it would seem that the girl had found the source of all the confusion, the midterm results are out. Ayano gulped and feared for the worst...The boy was probably kidding when he said those words, he was probably making fun of her low score...What did she get? 79? Probably something like that. Making her way to the crowd, the girl tried to look at her name from the list, undoubtedly anxious to see her mediocre score.

She shifted uncomfortably as her eyes scanned throughout the list, what if it was something lower than 79? Oh god, she'd never be able to face the reality of it all and probably retreat to her little cave of wonders for the next semester or so...Then, her eyes locked on to the name she had sought out for what seemed like an eternity, there it was in plain sight for everyone to see. A whopping 99...Ayano blinked twice, even rubbing them for a while, just to make sure she was seeing straight and it wasn't all some illusion she was forced to believe. How...How was that even possible? She could've sworn she got a handful of the questions wrong, well...not that she was complaining but still. The girl didn't even take it seriously as most of the others did, maybe it's a sign, an omen of bad things to come...

To her dismay, a number of people in her class have already started talking about her, her paranoia sinking in. She probably thinks they're badmouthing her for having such a high grade, clearly someone else was deserving of that grave. With a sigh, Ayano sheepishly made her way to her classroom, hoping that her being the talk of the town would subside sooner or later.

Ryan Alon - Warakuma High School - Main Entrance | Monday, May 25 2015 - Morning

Ryan groaned quietly as he saw the crowd gathered around the score board. Why did everyone care so much about their scores? All they needed to do was check quickly and then head to class. Instead they watched it like vultures and gossiped about who got the lowest and highest scores, it made him a little sick to be honest. At least the midterms were over though, he was really stressed out over being forced to take the exams even though he was such a late transfer student.

Ryan pushed through the crowds and got to the board to see his own score. It shouldn't be too bad, he did a lot of studying after all. He'll probably do a lot better on the next exams. Oh god he probably failed the midterms, this was not going to help his case about wanting to be in public school.

"Where am I, where am I? Oh, there I am."

Ryan was surprised. He actually got a decent grade, surprising considering the circumstances. He probably aced English and did poorly in Japanese while doing average in everything else. That makes sense. This was like a low B or a High C in terms of grades, so no complaints.

Ryan Alon-Warakuma High School: Anime and Manga Club | After School

Ryan walked into the classroom and sighed as he sat down. He was starting to understand everything, he just needed a little more time. He took out his new manga he had been reading, the early Naruto manga was surprisingly good, and he started to relax. He was showing up pretty often to the club. Ryan chuckled a little as he turned the pages.

"If I'm not careful I'm going to end up as an Otaku with terrible grades. Heh."

Ryan shook his head and went back to reading his manga. He should buy some more of this when he gets the chance. That lady at the store was weird, but nice.

'Damn it. How did I wind up missing one? If I hadn't wasted all my time salvaging these shops, maybe I could've focused better-' the thoughts continued to echo in Masa's mind. More than once he caught himself glancing over towards Kotori during class, a mixture of curiosity and anger settling slowly as he tried his best to avoid his jealousy. This was made even difficult as the other students began to whisper, their eyes also locking onto the girl as Masahide turned his gaze to the window nearest to him. As the teacher read off the result of the exams, he couldn't help but cringe as he heard his name. As class progressed, the boy's attention to his teacher's words were tentative- many times finding himself running through the questions that he could remember before realizing he was slowly dirfting off. It wasn't till then that Masa finally noticed the effect of his fatigue, cursing under his breath as he interlaced his finger, letting his elbow's rest atop his desk as his arms formed a sharp arch before him. All throughout class, he remained silent, answering only when spoken to by the teacher and no one else. As class came to a close, the boy quickly retrieved his bag and made for the exit.

After School

As Masa aimlessly roamed about the town, he made it a point to avoid his usual employers, taking the long route back to the Saji estate by foot. Unlike his normal school routine, today he hadn't glanced at his phone at all- instead his hands were stuffed inside his pockets and his eyes fixed forward. 'Maybe I'll take the day off tomorrow...' As he continued his trek, he fell back into his silence, ignoring the phone subtly vibrating and chiming in his pocket.

After School

"I see, well, it couldn't be helped. Even if able, It probably would've been tough to get in to see me anyways, over protective family, ya know?" she flashes a nervous grin. One which happens to be yakuza.... not exactly the warm and welcoming type. "But I'm doing alright, no real damage, they were a bunch of weaklings if you ask me." referring to those strange captors of hers.

He followed her over to the table and places a packet down on the table before patting her on the shoulder. Opening it up, it was a Saji pen and some ink, a much appreciated gift indeed. "Thanks, you too." Giving him a thumbs up.

As Alexei left, she heard a familiar voice, it was Rui. "Of course, as if I'd let that crap tie me down." placing her hands on her hips as she flashed a confident grin. "Oh, You mean Alexei? If anything, I'd say I'm his bodyguard." she laughed.

Face now serious, "Got it." was her only response to his later comment. She knew what he meant. About everything that happened then, she'll finally get some answers. Whenever she has the time, she'll definitely call. With that, they said their farewells and he was on his way.

Once he was gone, she noticed another new presence. Ayano... She also noticed that Ryan was also there reading, but left him to his own devices as Ayano started asking questions. "Oh you know, just got into a fight with a bunch of nobodies and got carried off somewhere. Seriously, they were fortunate they had as many people as they did, or it would've been totally different." she replied with a shrug. It wasn't like she could say exactly what happened, last thing she wants is people to think she's crazy right after a hospital stay. Plus, it's not like she knows exactly what's going on either. So this seemed like the natural response.

"Abnormal?" she tilted her head in confusion. "Well, I wasn't abducted by aliens, thrown in nuclear waste or was experimented on, if that's what you mean." she burst into a fit of laughter. "But seriously, No need to worry, I'm perfectly fine." she grinned as she pounded her fist into her chest to show she was fine before smiling and giving Ayano her thanks.

After School

As the mid-terms came and went, everyone breathed signs of relief while others agonized over their results, with some already knowing they've failed completely. However, Akane wasn't one of them. She was confident that she passed, although, she wasn't so sure about the final score. Well, whatever, As long as she passed it doesn't really matter. Her head clearly wasn't in it. Well, they were only mid-terms, she'll just have to make up for it on the next one. With exams being over and done with, she briefly considered giving Rui a call and getting an explanation, before deciding against it and instead opting to get some rest and wait until Monday. With a sigh, she left the school grounds and headed on home.

Monday, May 25th, 2015
Morning

As she arrived at school, she noticed a big fuss over by the notice boards. "Judgement Day, huh?" she muttered. Well, time to decide how bad I did this time around. Walking over and shoving past a few students in the way, she looked for her year and class. Finding her name, she was surprised. It wasn't that bad, still 10 or so points below her average, but it was a bit better than she was expecting. I can live with it. With a yawn, she began stretching before moving on. Deciding to wait until after school to get in touch with Rui, she headed to class.

Mako Moritomi//Warakuma High

Monday, May 25, 2015

Mako rubbed a hand across his eyes, feeling far more tired than he should be. It felt like he'd been missing the whole damn month, to be honest. Not that anyone could blame him. Between his own issues and studying for this exam, he hadn't really had time to... socialize. That, of course, needed to change, now that exams were finally over. He'd been running himself ragged for too damn long- it was time to renew. Extensively.

Speaking of, it wouldn't hurt to start his new-found sense of self-preservation by checking just how well he'd done on the exam. A frail spark of nervousness rose in his chest before he quelled it- nerves were non-conducive to his mental well-being. He walked over to the wall where the exam scores had been posted, took a deep breath, and sought out his name. A task made easier by the fact that the scores were organized according to class, thankfully. He finally found his name, and his breath escaped his lungs in a relieved sigh.

Fifth overall, huh? Marvelous. He has to be pleased with that, at least. Hell, I'm pleased with it, and I'm more of a perfectionist about my grades than he is. He grinned, looking around at the other students- some looking pleased with their results, some appearing to be in agony- and shrugged.

Not a bad way to start off the week.

Akane Hanazawa // Warakuma High // Manga Club room ---> Around The School
Monday, May 25th, 2015
After School

As the bell, signifying the end of classes, rang, Akane grabbed her bag and headed out the door. Before commencing her search for Rui, she decided to drop by the club room and pick up a few things she left behind last school day. Popping into the room, she noticed that Ryan was there again. Acknowledging his existence with a slight nod, she grabbed her ink and writing utensils, put them into her bag and headed out as quickly as she came.

Well, he wasn't in the club room... referring to Rui, Guess I'll check his other known clubs to see if he's there before giving him a call. After all, can't count out him leaving the school grounds already.

Shizuka Otonashi || Otonashi Tailors || May 23 SAT: After School

"I-I-I apologize! I-I didn't mean for it to sound in such a wa-way but it is also true that t-this is my first time doing any of these for someone else." Shizu's cheeks burned up as she bowed apologetically for the evident uncomfortableness of the upperclassman. At least she was able to finish it up quickly and put aside the awkward feeling.

Before the male left, Shizuka informed, "I'll have your costume done by next weekend! In the future, to make this convenient for you, just mail me your order in this mail address and I'll have it done on the weekend of that week. You can pay for it when you pick it up." She handed over a piece of paper with her mail address scribbled on it, before bidding Rui a farewell as she closed the shop with the staff.

Shizuka Otonashi || Warakuma High || May 25 MON: After School

Classes were over with as Shizuka and her friends had small talks on the way out of their classrooms, to either head home or to their own clubs. Nozomi, as usual, scored pretty high, in contrast to Rinko, one of their friends, had a failing mark. An expression of dread was marked all over her face as she mumbled about what was she supposed to do when she had to tell her parents the result. Shizuka, on the other hand, scored a little higher than her usual average student score which she was glad about as she silently thanked the upperclassmen who had helped her over the past week.

Speaking of upperclassmen, while Shizuka was looking over at the score board this morning, she spotted several names she recognized on the top student lists, namely, Kotori, Masahide, Rui, Mako, and Sato. It was no wonder the help from those two upperclassmen were of good help, they were top students. Anyway, she figured some congratulating was appropriate the next time she saw them. Kotori, though, was someone she was able to see today. In fact, the freshman was heading towards the club room at that moment.

Once the door to the club room was slid open and her hidden gaze spotted the bespectacled student, the raven haired maiden parted her lips to speak, "A good day to you both. Ah, and congratulations on your perfect exam result, Shirohane-senpai!" Her voice was in was usual soft tone but one can tell that she was being sincere.

Warakuma High > Warakuma Park - After School
25/5/2015 Monday

Rui was on his way home until he got a message on his phone. It was from Akane. It seems she wanted to talk... Well with exams out of the way, this was a good a time to share with her everything. They met up in Warakuma Park. Rui was already off school grounds when he got the message, so he opt a compromise on location which was the park. Sure enough she showed up.

"Right, I guess I should tell you about everything...", he began with the kidnappings, suspicion around the cult, and everyone else, including Kazuki and his crew. As soon as he finished, he asked if she wanted to join. It was her call. It didn't take her long to accept.

"I see, then we will keep in touch in case something happens", with that they began to go wherever they wanted or needed to at the time.

Warakuma High
28/5/2015 Thursday

The week right after exams, all the clubs wanted to relax just a bit. More rigorous ones didn't though, like the kendo club was all about that discipline, so they didn't relax. Though they weren't on today, it was Thursday after all. The school week almost completely passed by already, and still no word from Kami on any new developments. He thought to look out for some on his own too, but the problem with the cult was that it was made up of residents in the town. They probably had eyes and ears everywhere, and blended in like completely normal people.

"Huh... I wish we had some solid lead... I'd rather not have the presence of a cult so actively bother me...", he muttered as he began to pick his bags up and head home for the day. Drama was on today, but he didn't want to go this week... Right after exams he felt he didn't need that kind of... Drama. Heh. Bad jokes aside, he was ready to head home, so that's what he did.

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma High, Class 3-3
MAY 15TH 2015, FRIDAY
Afterschool

The bell tolled.

This time, however, Sato Hashimoto was part of the wave of students rushing out of the classroom and into freedom. It felt better than sitting at his desk until everyone was gone. It was the kind of rush an white-collar worker would get when they skip a day of work. He would've said to anybody that asked about it that he was avoiding any chance of meeting Rokurou, but that definitely was not it, for Sato was not following the flow out to the main doors. Instead, he was headed for the bathrooms, and that feeling of freedom was drowned in his nausea. Crashing into a stall, the teen fell to his knees and threw up whatever he could into the toilet. It wasn't anything he'd eaten, nor was it self-induced. It had came on like a disgusting thought, unsolicited and undesirable.

Sato flushed the toilet, cleaned himself up, and left the room before anybody could come in. Half-stumbling out of the washroom, he didn't feel quite stable enough to walk home just yet, so he found his way up to the roof. He'd only ever gone up there once before, on the same week before exams last year. The day was going the same way the past five minutes had gone, just with less actual vomiting. Maybe it's a stress thing, Sato considered as he reached the final steps of the staircase. The door was supposed to be 'locked', but pretty much everyone knew you could just wriggle it open. None of the staff had said anything about students going up there yet, so Sato assumed they didn't care. There was a fence and that had to mean something.

Thankfully, nobody seemed to be up on the roof, so Sato found a seat against the fence, resting his chin on his knees. He wasn't sure if people on the roof were visible to people on the ground. He had never made anyone out from the ground, but how often did he really look up there? It didn't really matter though. The worst that would happen is that some teacher would scold him and send him home. His record was too clean to provoke any worse of a punishment, and it wasn't like someone would beat him up just for sitting there.

Unfortunately, the peace was short-lived. Sato lifted his head as the sound of footsteps got closer, falling to a gentle human rhythm. A moment of silence passed, before the familiar face of Naomi peaked around the corner. He wasn't sure what kind of expression appeared on her face when she saw him, but regardless, she approached him.

"Hey Sato..." Naomi started, playing with her pink nails as she stood in front of him. "I, uh... are you ok?" Just bringing it up seemed to make her figit with awkwardness.

Sato lowered his brow. It was an appropriate question, but the fact that she knew... "What?"

"I was coming to go talk to you, and um, you ran by me looking like you were about to die. Your face was really green. I was just wondering if you were ok?"

"Oh." Sato looked to the ground, unsure of what to feel. "I appreciate your concern, Naomi, but I'm fine. Sorry if I made you worried or something. But wait... you were coming to talk to me?"

"O-oh, yeah. Rokurou, the archery club president, as you obviously know, because you're in the archery team... wanted me to thank you for tutoring him, and to give this back. He wasn't sure if you were coming to practice today or not." Naomi handed him a carefully folded shirt, the one Rokurou had borrowed almost a week ago. It was obvious that she had redone the folding before giving it to Sato.

Sato blinked, unaware that they knew eachother. "Huh? You know him?" The rest of her message came as no surprise. Not even the thanks. That was the least Rokurou could've done after those nights of torture.

"You didn't know?" Naomi said, giving a slight tilt of the head, just ever so slightly more embarassed. "Rokurou and I are, uhh, a couple... I met him back when I first moved here, and he was really cute, so I couldn't just say no when he... ah, you don't need to hear that dumb stuff! I'm sorry, sometimes I just keep blabbering when I don't mean to."

Okay. This was... okay. Now wasn't the time for relationships anyway, what with exams and college coming up. He reminded himself that nothing would last past entrance exams anyway. There was no time for a girl when he was supposed to be studying for highschool, and later on med school. But Rokurou definitely wasn't following the same path, so it made sense someone who would have the time for her would get her. Sato nodded. "Nobody told me. I gotta go home now, I promised I'd be home earlier than this."

He headed over to the exit, but before he could leave, Naomi stopped him with a hand on his shoulder. She quickly unearthed something wrapped in a bunch of paper and handed it over to him. Sato curiously opened the top part of it, just enough to see the biscuit cookie inside. The boy looked up at Naomi with confusion. "They're like weird little good luck thingies." She explained. "They're a little untraditional, but the girls at my old school used to bake them before exams, so I thought I'd make some for all my new friends here, you know?" Sato took the baked good from her and nodded slowly, crumpling the paper wrapping back together as best as he could. "They're a little on the greasy side, so maybe... don't eat it until tommorow, okay?"

"Thank you very much, Naomi. It means a lot to me." Maybe that was too much. Before he could decide on whether it was or not, Sato ducked passed the door and made his way down the stairs. The same nausea he had before came back, but instead of throwing up again, Sato just felt plainly sick. Taking Naomi's advice to heart, Sato shoved the package into his school bag.

Taking a look at the sky as he stepped out of the school, dark clouds were moving in... Was it going to rain again?

[. . . . .]

Sato sighed as he slid open the front door, kicking off his shoes without a care. His hair was still dripping with rain, clothes soaked through. There wasn't anything to use to dry himself within grasp, nor did his mother seem to be anywhere, so Sato just quietly walked up to his room. A creak of the floor boards caught his attention, and he stopped in front of the door. Sato's mother ghosted over to him, passing a towel over. He grabbed it, but didn't bother drying himself at all. "Sato..." she said, but only continued with a concerned look.

"I'm fine." Sato opened the door, looking down at the puddle of water collected by his feet. "Don't bother me. I need to study for the midterms." Without another word from either party, Sato slipped away into his room, shutting the door behind him harder than he intended to. Changing into something dry, and covering his hair with the towel, Sato collapsed onto his bed. He'd studied enough.

MAY 18TH 2015, MONDAY
Mid-morning

Midterms had finally arrived, and Sato was ready. Somehow, he'd managed to get some sleep the past week-end, almost forgetting everything but the exams. He had to force himself out of bed on Sunday to do some last-minute studying. Now, the real test was in front of him. Flipping open to the first page, he could answer most of the questions with relative ease, but he still had to stop on some questions for a while to work it out carefully. He felt confident he'd do well.

[. . . . .]

And the midterms were over as quickly as they began. Sato had simply gone home and studied for the remaining subjects, going to bed early, after each test. For once, exams were a welcomed distraction from life. Or maybe everything else was a distraction from the tests. Either way, Sato was finally finished, having just put the last word down for the final question. While it wasn't too hard, it wasn't awfully easy, and he knew exactly what he got wrong. Still, though, Sato felt good about his results. For all that'd happened recently he felt on point the whole week. Now, all that was left was to wait for exams Monday. Going to practice would be a waste of time, seeing as nobody had the energy to go after a week of tests, so Sato simply went home. His plans for the evening consisted of kicking back with a Neo Featherman F marathon and reading some of the novel he started a week or so ago. Yeah... that sounded good.

MAY 25TH 2015, MONDAY
Morning

The exam results were finally posted, and Sato was among one of the first to check them. Starting from the top of the third-years, it didn't take long for him to find his name. Best in his class, second highest for his year. Silently pleased with what he'd gotten, Sato continued looking through the lists for any familiar names. Mika, Rento, Dragunov, and Harvester all passed with mediocre scores, while Rokurou actually got above 80. All that studying paid off for him, it would seem.

Sato was about to walk away when he thought of something. The full names of everyone were listed here, and obviously any first year that went to Warakuma High would be there. He looked over at the first years' results, scanning down the list until he came across an Otonashi. Shizuka Otonashi. Seeing that name revived the idea that she was the maid cafe girl. No, it wasn't an idea anymore. Sato knew it was true. There was no way it couldn't not be her. Whether or not he would pursue the topic, however, was still being debated. Otonashi had a reason to hide her job, so would it be rude to try to talk to her about it? If that question was on the exam, Sato knew he would've gotten it wrong.

Pushing it to the back of his mind, Sato slipped out of the crowd and started on his way over to his homeroom. It was an archery day too, wasn't it...? Now that exams were over, it was probably back to being active. The idea of going over there and practicing seemed nice after a week of studying, test-writing, and show-watching, but with Rokurou and/or Mika and company there, how fun would it really end up being? Letting out a tired sigh as he plopped down at his desk, Sato flipped open his books for his first class just as the bell tolled.

MAY 28TH 2015, Thursday
Dusk

The rain began late in the evening, pounding down on the town of Warakuma, only letting up as Sato waited at Rokurou's place. Normally Sato would describe the town as some sleepy backwater, but with what had been going on, it'd be a lie to call the place quiet. Cult activity was on the rise, midterms finished last Friday, and archery club was as problematic as ever. Just the day before had the two 'sides' of the club finally dealt with the palpable tension between them. Sides in air quotes seeing as it was really just some petty drama Mika was starting with Rokurou that she decided to drag everyone else into. For once, Sato was glad to have skipped practice. The murmurs of members in Sato's class were enough to gather some vague gist of what had happened the day before.

"Born in the south, at home in the north, we could be anywhere you want..." Rokurou stopped under the awning, folding up the cheap umbrella he had used to get there dry. "That song's been stuck in my head for weeks. It's driving me insane." His voice sounded... strained, for lack of a better word. Like he was trying to forget something.

"Now you're takin' me down, where you grew up, I wish I had known you when we were young." Sato sang as he stepped away from the wall. "Is that how it went?"

He chuckled softly. "I can't believe you remember it too. So why're you staking out my front door? You some stalker hoping to get some creep shots on me? I'll tell you now, the front door isn't a good hide-out."

"I came over to talk to you about yesterday's practice." Sato looked directly at the other boy, clearly serious about the topic.

"Yesterday's practice?" Rokurou frowned a bit. "You weren't even there. What's there to talk about?"

"Ugh, Rokurou… Can you at least tell me what happened? I'm very aware I didn't attend."

Rokurou thought for a moment, figuring out a quick way to summarize it. "They bitched me out and I told them off. There ya go. That's it." He went to open the door, but before he could get his hand on it, Sato grabbed his wrist.

"Tell me what happened."

Rokurou ripped his hand away from Sato, visibly pissed off now. "Drop it, okay? If you care so much about it then you should've been there."

"Stop being so immature!" Sato raised his voice, but immediately hushed himself when he realized Rokurou's family might hear them. "This concerns me too, so just tell me what happened."

"I'm immature?! Says the one who double-crosses everyone left and right! 'You're doing fine as club prez' my ass, you just want to take my one fucking respectable role in the school so you can jerk over yourself more. As if being one of the top students wasn't enough!" Rokurou was standing over Sato as he said it, Sato's back hitting the wall when the taller boy took a step forward.

"No, what?! Calm down! I'm trying to help you with this. We both know they're being irrational about this."

"So you say you're on my side and then you go help them with ousting me? Go fuck yourself."

"No, that's not--"

"Shove off, prick." Rokurou said, ripping Sato away from the wall by the collar of his shirt. "I'm done with you."

Sato stared at him with a dumbfounded expression. Before Sato could think of anything else to say, Rokurou went inside with a huff, slamming the door behind him. That... was a catastrophic failure. Perhaps his timing wasn't right. Asking so soon after it happened wasn't a smart idea in hindsight, seeing as he was going to be peeved to some degree no matter what had happened. He let out a tired sigh. This week hadn't gone as well as he'd wanted it to. It was just a mess of studying and frustration.

To top it off, the rain had picked up again. He had ran to Rokurou's house without an umbrella, but it was a lot lighter back when it started. The storm seemed to have came back with a vengeance.

[. . . . .]

It had already gotten dark, and the rain was showing no signs of letting up. Sato wasn't even half-way home by the time he gave up. Why did Rokurou have to live on the other side of town? Cold and wet, the teen trudged through the dead shopping district. Most of the shops were starting to close, lights barely visible through the darkness of the rainstorm.

As he walked down an alley, Sato tried to find solace in the sound of rain beating on roofs and walls, but the shivers that rattled his body were too distracting. To make matters worse, the boy suddenly tripped somehow, sending him straight to the ground. How he managed to slip on a rain puddle, he couldn't fathom, but he had, and any part of him that wasn't soaked now was. Grumbling to himself about it, he rose back to his feet, futilely trying to shake the water off his limbs. It was as he realized the uselessness of it did he hear footsteps. On both ends of the alley.

Sato chalked it up to his imagination and continued on, but before he could exit the alley, figures in dark clothes emerged from behind the corners. It was hard to make out anything about them but everything in this situation screamed stranger danger. Sato knew there were too many of them to fight back or even evade, and before he could understand what was happening, the boy was grappling with people that had come from behind him. Powerful arms and swift blows subdued the teen quickly, but now that they were so close to him, Sato could see them more clearly. Hooded robes shadowed their features, turning them into silhouettes on the night. Were these... could they...?

Sato shouted out, "Who are y--" but they smothered his mouth with a cloth before he could even finish a sentence, muffling any sound that he tried to make. A chemical scent began to fill his nostrils, and Sato started struggling again. The men's grip were too strong to break free from. Seconds and minutes passed, and the world began to spin. As he started to lose feeling, he could feel his body being lowered until the wet pavement met his back. Footsteps, panting, heaving. It all melted away as the pleasant smell took over his consciousness...

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High School: Agriculture Club | Monday, May 25 2015 - After School

Whilst Matthew busied himself with the flowers all around the room, the door to the clubroom quietly opened. Turning, Kotori saw the third member of the club enter before speaking up in greeting. Whilst the club president returned it in cheerful kind, another wry sort-of smile came across Kotori's face as the younger girl congratulated her on the midterm results. Wishing - not for the first time that day - that the results weren't posted publicly and thus putting her on the spot so much, Kotori also assumed that she probably didn't harbour any ill will in her words. "Ah, uhm, th-thank you, Otonashi-san," she said, the slight discomfort being masked by the usual quietness of her voice - only enhanced by the fact that she didn't really know how to return the compliments. Luckily though, Matthew made that worry obselete when he soon brought up a different topic instead and, as usual, taking up the majority of the speaking part in the conversations of the day.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High School: Classroom 2-2 | Thursday, May 28 2015 - After School

"Well, that's all for today. Remember to review the material at home," the teacher declared as the bell rang; signalling the end of another schoolday. Kotori was thankful for it - though not quite as much as at the start of the week. Luckily for her, the excitement and interest in the midterms had rather quickly died down and was replaced by the usual daily life at school: worrying about upcoming tests, club activities, plans for what to do after school and the like. Finishing her notes before packing up, Kotori glanced out of the window - the skies were starting to take a slightly worrying colour. Though she had an umbrella in her schoolbag, she still hoped the rain would hold off until after she got home once agriculture club was over.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma | After School

Kotori looked up at the sky again once she left through the school's main entrance. The sky had definitely darkened - it was definitely going to rain later today, though her hope of it only starting once she got home seemed to be holding up. She began on her way home, having no further stops planned after having just said her goodbyes to her two fellow agriculture club members for the day, as she let her thoughts wander on what to do with the evening. With her mother being most elated over her midterm results, she'd been more than happy to be cooking all through the week and even assuring her that she could take it easy and wouldn't need to help out at the shop for the moment. Any words to the contrary were rapidly shot down, thus leaving her with both free evenings and a slight feeling of guilt thereover.

Of course, there was the day's material and her notes to go over - with the new term starting, most subjects were starting on new topics or continuing on from previous ones. And just because she'd gotten particularly lucky on her midterms didn't mean she could just sit back in the new term, either - but even so, she could hardly just fill an entire evening with textbooks. Instead, she'd picked up another secondhand book or two (or six) at the local bookstore café, one of which she'd finished just the other day; leaving her to ponder which one to continue with today. There was that novel about the strange happenings in an old countryside mansion which had sounded rather intriguing - but on the other hand, there was that romance novel which, whilst sounding more than just a little cheesy, still had piqued her interest equally.

In her thoughts, she hadn't actually been looking where she had been going - not that it was necessary, seeing as she took this same route to and from school every day. Yet only now that she actually looked about did Kotori notice that there was something slightly odd about her surroundings - there were a lot fewer people about than usual. For a moment, she glanced about a little nervously - before shaking her head at her own silliness. She must have read too many mystery novels - of course people would prefer to stay indoors when there rainclouds were forming overhead. Yet at the same time, she couldn't quite shake the silly notion - even as she looked ahead and noticed a small group of people standing at the corner she would usually turn before reaching the shopping district. There was no real reason to suspect anything - but that little voice asking 'What if?' that always seemed to come to the fore whenever one hears a scary story or the like, no matter how unbelieveable, still made her take a turn slightly earlier and go down one of the alleys which would get her home equally as fast.

It was only when she'd gone a few steps that she let out a small sigh at herself. What was she doing, making herself afraid of a few people standing around? For all she knew, they might have seen her too and thought her most rude for turning away like that - she really should have just kept going straight on. Preoccupied with her own hangups, it would take her a few moments to notice that there was someone else coming up the same small road - if one could call it that, seeing as it was more of an alleyway. Moving to one side preemptively to let them pass by before they even got close, she kept on, her eyes lowered - only to suddenly stop in her tracks when she suddenly saw the person's feet before her. Looking up in surprise, she reflexively bowed before speaking a quiet "Ah, excuse..." but not getting further than that.

Looking at the person, completely draped in dark clothing just standing there, she felt a small shiver down her spine - but before she could say anything else or even turn around, an arm suddenly wrapped itself around her waist and a hand was placed over her mouth. Kotori's eyes went wide, the confusion rapidly replaced by fear. Her cry, however, only came out as a muffled "Mmf!" - as she realised that it wasn't actually a hand on her mouth, but rather a cloth which was pressed against not only that but also her notice. She tried to struggle against the grip, but to little avail - without the heart-pounding panic clouding her every thought and sense, she might also have noticed the rather odd smell of the fabric as she kept trying to free both her arms and her airways; the cloth stifling her breathing and only furthering her fear.

Her thoughts were racing - what was- who? Why? For... but... and-? She could barely finish even a single thought as all her instincts told her to get free, to run - even as an all-encompassing weariness came over her, both in body and mind. She felt herself slump to the ground, only avoiding a complete collapse due to the vice-like grip of her unknown assailant, even as her thoughts became slower, less coherent. Her vision started to go blurry, sounds became muffled and only now did she realise there was a strange smell in her nose - but it too was warped beyond any recognition as, finally, her mind drifted off into unconsciousness...

Abandoned Warehouse
31/5/2015 Sunday

"Two...?",

"That's right... I'm sensing two in there...", everyone was here plus Akane who recently joined. There seemed to be a new situation, where two people were in the mirror world...

"This has happened once before but...", her tone seemed to become more somber as she drifted off.

"But that's not important... What's important is we have a lot more people than when we started out... Speaking of which, he's late", as soon as he finished saying that, the door to the warehouse swung open, revealing a moderately dressed man. His figure was lean yet large, posture excellent, and short hair. Nothing seemed to really stand out from him other than his overbearing figure. In his hands he was holding a few things.

"Sorry, the line at the convenience store was long",

"I didn't ask you to go to the convenience store Tadao",

"I thought it'd be nice if we had something to eat. I wasn't sure how much to buy so I bought things that can be shared",

"Ugh... Well in any case, now that we're all here we can coordinate two rescue teams. Rui, you will charge on dungeon, while I will scout out the other with another party, everyone else left will stay and protect Megumi",

"But... I can only keep track of one party and dungeon at a time...",

"I'm well aware, which is why I said scout", his tone was visibly a little annoyed. Something seemed to irritate him, was it Tadao who was late? Or the two-dungeon dilemma?

"Ah right... This is Tadao. I'll be taking him and Riku to scout the second dungeon. We'll decide which to go first when we get inside", everyone paid their greetings to Tadao who politely returned them, and with that settled everyone armed up and set off.

Hospital Street
31/5/2015 Sunday

"Strawman Hospital... and Heartbreak Hospital...?", this was a unique sight. The dungeon area was a street, with two hospitals on either side. If your eyes followed the complex, it looked like they connected somewhere in the middle... Whether or not they did in a world with such nonsensical physical values, was up for question.

In any case, they had a few minutes to decide party setup. Kazuki had already begun scouting out Heartbreak Hospital, as it was decided Rui and his party would go down Strawman Hospital. They weren't sure who was in which, heck if these were both connected, exploring and finding the final area may be a more arduous task than anticipated, so having two parties to cover more ground was a good idea. In any case... Who was to be in his party...? So far it was him and Akane, but the last two slots go to whom...? Perhaps Chiaki, and then bring Leiko for healing? Yeah that makes sense.

He made his announcement on party composition, so now everyone had a few moments to prepare themselves. Matthew seemed to be very very okay with being left out, because of the two hospitals, and for some reason so was Noboru... He didn't seem to have fond memories of the hospital. Ironically Akane was just in a hospital up until mid way last week, so she wasn't so keen, but she probably needed the experience.

Mako Moritomi//Ferrero Mall

Sunday, May 31, 2015

Fuck. I just had to open my mouth, didn't I? Just had to say it. Didn't even have to say it, actually- just thought it. Still counts, I guess.

Mako plodded through the mall, eyes downcast, frustration evident on his features as he contemplated not just one, but two kidnappings happening in the same week. On the same day, for Christ's sakes. Whoever their kidnapper was, he was getting stupidly bold. Why hadn't they been caught already? Was everyone really so grossly incompetent to allow two people to be snatched off of the streets like someone was picking up trash?? Lousy fucking police in this lousy fucking town--

Mako stopped suddenly, hands clutching his head like he was in pain, face screwed up in concentration. He took several deep breaths, heedless of the stares he was receiving. He had more important things to think about right now. Like not lashing out at the first unfortunate bastard that crossed him the wrong way.

Calm down. Assess. Deconstruct. Break it down into manageable pieces- don't let it overwhelm you. He took another deep breath as he tried to focus on keeping calm. After about a minute, he felt calm enough to think about the situation again.

He thought about the names- Kotori Shirohane, and... him. Sato.

He rolled his eyes as he continued walking. Apart from the fact that he'd been kidnapped, he really didn't understand why he was so fixated on the upperclassman. After all, this Shirohane girl had been kidnapped, too, and she was even in his class. Not that they'd ever spoken before, but...

Ugh.

His thoughts' apparent obsession with Sato Hashimoto was irksome, to say the least. He'd been none too accepting of any sort of... "help," or whatever, the last time they'd spoken. In fact, he'd rebuffed Mako rather definitively. Absolutely, even. He'd tried to give the upperclassman some space after that, given that he was apparently an uncomfortable reminder of the events at the Star Drop. Not that it helped his situation at all...

This is stupid.

The worst part was that he still felt protective toward Sato. He still wanted to wring the neck of that bastard who was snapping photos in the cafe. He still wanted to know he was all right, especially now. And it still made no fucking sense that he should feel like that, given the longest conversation they'd had was Sato essentially telling him to fuck off--

He stopped again. Sighing, he cast his eyes about for some kind of reprieve. As some cruel cosmic joke, he noticed the Star Drop Cafe not far down. He rolled his eyes.

Well... I might as well. I am hungry. And Lord knows I've needed some good coffee lately.

Jamming his hands into his pockets, he walked over to and into the cafe, needing to take his mind off of troubling things.

Shizuka Otonashi || Warakuma Recreational Center || May 31 SUN: Morning

"Shirohane-senpai is absent..?"
"Yeah, looks like it. Strange for someone with same passion for plantation to skip out our club meeting. ... You don't think she quit, right Shizu?"
"I suppose not, it's Shirohane-senpai we're talking about."
"Gotta agree with ya there. I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this.... "
"......?"

........ SPLASH. As if cutting through water, ripples formed around the speedy swimming figure. The still, sparkling, clear water was disturbed by the single figure as it traveled in a single line through meters of water. As the figure reached the other end of the pool, she tapped her hand atop the edge. Shizuka, the aforementioned swimmer, emerged out of the pool as water dripped down along her delicate, slender figure and her drenched, curly, dark hair was let down as it was released from the clutches of a hair tie. She was adorned with the simple, traditional, competitive swimming one-piece in a hue that matched her tresses but due to her average yet well balanced proportions, it complimented her features.

'It had been awhile since I've last indulged in any athletic activity...' The swimmer thought to herself, realizing that her usual balance between educational, athletic, artistic, and interest related activities was becoming off. She was lost in thought as she collected her hair together to squeeze out the excess water, her usual, hidden gaze being shown for once from having her overly long bangs out of the way. Hazel brown eyes sparkled from the moisture of the pool water. With her bangs out of the way and not being dressed in her colorful costumes, one would believe that she was just an average girl.

Having snapped back to reality, Shizuka's bare feet started stepping towards the locker room, to dress up back into her casual wear, now being summer themed. It consisted of a simple, strap sleeved yellow dress, mid length sleeved white cardigan, topping it off with a sunflower ornament headband. Since it was still too early for her part time job at the Star Drop Cafe, she decided to lounge around at the main lobby of the recreational center while properly arranging her curls.

The recreational center she was currently in was built as recent as few years back, due to the start of urbanizing of Warakuma, thanks to its urbanized neighbors. It consisted of some sports facilities such as the indoor courts, for tennis, badminton, basketball and the like, and a pool for swimming. It also consisted of other facilities such as a fitness gym and a yoga studio. There might have been more to it but Shizuka so far had only explored the swimming pool and the tennis court. One might think she was of an athletic build but really, her level was comparable to that of an average person. She only indulged in such activities for her fitness and it reminded her of the days she used to take classes for the two (and ballet) with her mother.

As she was reminiscing, a soft, gentle smile made its way on her lips as she sat down on one of the benches of the lobby.

After School

It's been a week since mid-terms ended and people were still in lazy mode. He managed to do reasonably well, enough to shut the teachers up, though not enough to mutter something along the lines of 'Now if only you'd clean up your act....' "I don't recall putting on any kind of act." would be always be his reply and always with a facial expression that would irritate them further. Hey, it's better than saying nothing at all, right? Which usually was the case beforehand. The teachers are able to show signs of irritation, anger, sarcasm and the like but when you do the same, it's a totally different story.

Seriously... With a stifled yawn, he headed out and started leaving the school grounds. It's been a a tiring and quite dull week but if there was something of interest, it would be the usual drama of the Archery Club. It was quite as entertaining as as usual, another bout between Rokurou and Mika. A shame Sato wasn't there and added to it, probably could've added more spice to it all. Though, it was short lived as the sides managed to settle things, though, doubt the problems will be over anytime soon. With a smirk, he headed on home.

Akane Hanazawa // Abandoned Warehouse
Sunday, May 31st, 2015

It's only been 3 days since she met up with Rui to learn 'the truth' about what's been going on in Warakuma, but it was still fresh in her mind. Well, couldn't be helped, it was pretty crazy stuff, so of course it would stick. Normally when one hears something of the sort, that'd write it off as nonsense and pay it no mind, but considering what's been going on lately and what she had experienced, it all made sense. Everything falling into place, well...most of it anyway... It didn't take her long for her to agree with Rui's offer.

Even if she didn't experience that whole shadow incident, she'd still be on board and choose to believe it. Mostly because she lives inside her head a lot and it sounded quite interesting. Who knows, maybe some inspiration for her manga? Also, from the sounds of it, there'd be some fighting involved and will be able to help some people out.Win-win for her really. Ok ok, mostly because she wants to beat the crap out of the ones that swarmed her and abducted her. "Fucking cowards...." she muttered to herself, gritting her teeth.

Anyways, upon arrival she managed to formally meet the gang, including the ones she encountered during her own problem. Even knowing a number of them, like Kami, whom is also in the kendo club. She has never liked him though, wasn't fond of his attitude. She was tempted to say something but refrained. Apparently, there were 2 'dungeons', each with their own person to save and that they'd be splitting up into 2 teams, sending 1 into each dungeon. Hm, I wonder who got taken this time.

Akane Hanazawa // Hospital Street

Having arrived at their destination, Akane couldn't help but give it a long enough. It was quite a strange sight, with strange names to boot. Strawman Hospital.....Heartbreak Hospital....Hmm...

It would eventually be decided that Akane would be apart of Rui's team with their designated area being this so-called 'Strawman' Hospital. She wasn't too keen on returning to a hospital, especially after her recent trips to one, but it couldn't be helped. Like it or not, this was her first time in this world, well, not as an abductee anyway, so she needed to get a hang of it first. Should be fun. Heh She smirked, cracking her knuckles as she let Rui know that she was ready while waiting for the others.

Alexei Dragunov | Shirohane Flower Store

Alexei stood outside his favorite flower store, shocked with what he had heard. Things had certainly taken a turn for the worse with the innocent Kotori-chan caught in the cross fire. Whatever was a going on was certainly much deeper and grave than it appeared. The cult was getting bolder with each move and now they had struck twice on the same day.

Surprisingly, all of them being high school students. Though, a remote part of his mind reasoned that maybe Kotori would return all well like the others but he found it hard to get that emotion known to the one who owned the shop he stood in front of. It had remained closed as expected and Alexei felt as if he should go and offer some consolation to the grieving mother.

Instead, he just left a note at the door. A promise, to try his best in finding the younger Shirohane. The joy of whole week had been washed away in a single stroke. First, Akane and now Kotori. He was starting to worry for the safety of his beloved sister as he walked around the Shopping complex hoping to look for any clues regarding the disappearance of his friend, if he can call her that.
