@Cuccoruler Anyone within a certain radius in front of the caster can be affected by force lightning, grounded or not. Though I'm not exactly sure what the Maximum range is for Force Lightning, but Galen was able to use it on a giant Sarlaac in the first TFU game, and it was able to shock it pretty badly despite its large size.

I personally think it would be hilarious for Ika to be bombarded by psychic attacks, and have none work through ignorance that something should happen. And then be hit by all of it later when someone explains them to her.

Bio: Born in the Orion Federation, a small, one system government wedged right in unexplored Imperium space, Iris and her nation group up completely ignorant of the Imperium of Man.
