Monolith Graveyard

Player Limit: N/A.
Description: An ancient place, the Monolith Graveyard contains massive metallic structures composed of many metals such as iron, steel, copper, gold, and silver. There are a total of 500 Monoliths which are evenly spaced from one another. All Monoliths are 33 meters apart and stand at a height of 80 meters, making them truly impressive structures. The humming noise released by the Monoliths may have a variety of effects, but these effects depend on the combatants present as well as their intentions and alignment. The Monoliths tend to favor whomever is the weakest or most disadvantaged and will play to their strengths, attempting to even out the match-up through field advantage. In most cases of evenly matched opponents, the Monoliths' merely hum, and the sound produces no effect other than focusing the abilities and minds of those present to a minor degree.

The Graveyard is called as such due to a new Monolith appearing for every combatant who falls through contest within their bounds. The Monoliths are spread out in 250 rows and 250 columns. Each column is 3 meters from one side to the other, As a result the Graveyard is utterly massive and gains size for every fallen combatant. Currently it is 9000x9000 meters.

Adversaries always start 60 meters away from one another. While the pillars are not indestructible, the materials that make them up attract one another and so will return to their base form and levitate to their normal location when not manipulated by other energies. The ground of the arena is mostly level and is composed of reinforced stone. The floor conducts vibrations fairly well.

Unique Traits: The Monoliths constantly emit a faint humming noise. As the intensity of events around them raises so does the volume of the deep hum. Once the both combatants have unveiled their true power or the fight has reached a level of great intensity the monoliths begin to levitate above the rock formations that typically hold them down. The structures will move slowly from platform to platform.

Pirate King's Cove

Main Deck: 50x30 feet. Surrounding Area: 150x200 feet of land space.

Ship is resilient but somewhat destructible, water surrounding the ship inside the cover is very shallow only 8 feet deep at the very middle and even more shallow at the edges. Cannons on deck still work. No magical properties.

When the pirate king arrived here, the bandits waiting for him already knew who he was and how much treasure he had aboard. They outnumbered his crew 200 to 40, but the Pirate King would not run, partly because of his pride and partly because of how much loot he would have to give up if he surrendered. The ambush was a drawn out a bloody affair and despite the numbers the more skilled crew of the pirate King managed to even out the numbers very quickly. With only the pirate king and the chief bandit left. They fought on deck, with hate and rage, having lost their entire crews. The final moment of the fight was when the chief bandit casted some demonic magic at the deck to create a huge explosion, which killed them both instantly. The cost of the spell was that the demon would then erase the names and legacy of the Bandits and the Pirates from history, so nobody would know their names. The largely damaged ship now remains at the cove forever, waiting for the new pirate king to take the helm.

Name: Elande Slums

Size: Large tower(s) and surrounding area.

Description: An ancient city of slums that has been build and rebuilt over centuries. The houses stacked together so high that you can barely see the sky. Made of scrap metal, half rotten wood, and poor quality mortar and bricks this arena is actually quite destructible. However much is destroyed will simply be "repaired" in time by the countless slum dwellers. Many wires connect the multileveled buildings like zip lines, but it is anyone's guess as to if they will hold.

Few slum dwellers are in the arena scattered throughout the towers and area. They are a race of human like bipeds with little ability to speak. It is unlikely they will interfere in the fight, but might attack feebly if confronted.

Name: Merelil's Mist.

Description: A small stream surrounded by massive trunks in the heart of a forest, Merelil's Mist is populated by a great many fireflies and due to the mist which is constantly emitted from the nearby cavern, it is always shrouded in a twilight no matter the time. Sunlight barely pierces through the fog, creating a mystifying atmosphere. The only other sources of light are the many, unnaturally bright fireflies which flit through the forest. The battlefield spans into the cavern network and out onto the stream and the surrounding 800 meters of land/tree and does include the canopy of the forest, where light is abundant.

Player Capacity: N/A.

Unique Traits: The mist naturally diffuses light to a degree making it easier for people to hide and lowering visibility. Additionally, this mist is laden heavily with mystical energy, often amplifying magic used. When breathed in, the mist empowers the physique of those within it. The mist constantly becomes thicker over time, but also rises into the higher regions of the forest, meaning that given time the visibility may rather randomly increase or decrease. Judge can flip a coin every two rounds (2 posts per combatant) to decide if the mist thickens or disperses upwards.

well it took 2 years but your arena is approved lol

Mountain Monastery

Size: Path is 15ft wide and quite tall, winding upwards. Court Yard 200ft long, 75ft wide.
Player Capacity: 2.
Description: This Monastery in the mountains is home to a peaceful order of religious monks. It is beautifully kept with sand gardens and banzai trees. There is a small 25x25 foot raised platform in the center of the court yard that is often used for meditation. The constant drone of chanting often fills the narrow winding mountain paths that lead to this secluded monastery. In the winter the paths are full of snow, making travel all but impossible. It is in the spring that the true beauty of this divine place becomes apparent and life blooms all around it.

Why have the character section of this topic also be the battleground? Are you literally retarded?

The last post here was Three years ago. And this thread is a sticky. These two things should probably indicate to you that you are misunderstanding the situation.

This is a Battlegrounds Thread. It's literally just a grouping of Arenas to do Arena RP in. Therefore the "characters" of a Battlegrounds Thread are effectively the Arenas themselves. The development here isn't of characters but of Arenas.

That way when people want to do an Arena RP they can come to this Battleground Thread and look through several well developed Battlegrounds or Arenas to use in their RP.

---

As explained in the Opening Post of the OOC

"For this new guild Im going to use the OOC to put in the guidelines for the Arenas 'CS' and allow everyone to submit them here, If me or another slightly more seasoned arena battler (lookin at you skalla) approves it, it will be put the Characters Tab ready for Arena use."

In short:

OOC is for the Characters of the Battleground Thread, those being the Arenas themselves, to be developed and eventually Approved or Disapproved.
Characters is for the Approved Characters of the Battleground Thread, again those being the Arenas themselves, to be posted.

HAZOP

Now I'm ready. I declared war as a Kawaler, shitface, on my profile. I've gone through enough restitution to have them saved, printed, and other noble methods for myself. How to petty, how to petty, I accomplished never being a bub. And unlike "Knights" of the Internet that have a longsword against people, as you see I have a Polish saber.

Your condescending pride has you fucked, there is no adversity on the Internet, just bitches like you lost to power, and no noble virtue about it, of course, just vagrant dictatorship. I've gotten Bureaucrat on Fandom Wiki's I know what I said, and for what it's worth 80 Key to the Wiki Badges.

I also have learned that I am missing some words after an initial comma, but that's fine. I learned it's not spam, you people just live in a wretch of a life, a life called "can't".

Shitface? Sir how dare you! I valiant anon verisimilitudious! Persay doubloon I impertitudiously parthenon!

Tis PooHead not Shitface! A most unKnightly demeanor, ungrounded in Slovakian swordsmanship.

But the message basically man is save attacks for RP. If you want to do an Arena fight ask someone to do an Arena fight. Don't start insulting people in threads that have been dead for three years. In particular don't call them retarded. This isn't the Discord, there is something vaguely approaching standards here. Think of the ad revenue my Polish partner.

I'll do an Arena thread with you if you want.

Your Paraguayan bachelor (that's what Kawaler is in English, I thought you meant Koala for a minute) vs My Well Oiled Masked and Mustachioed Moldavian Muscle Man. He's from the mountains.

I throw down my gauntlet good sir. Fortudiously and forthrightly to fight thee, flagrantly fetid foe!
