Why fight the other monk when you could pay ask him to make the ultimate chicken soup instead? The way I see it, fighting just robs us all of soup-eating opportunities and distracts us from the real prize: Having an IC reason to make the pun "souper, man".

Well... I should probably try and finish that second app then... but after college.

I can make a second character, like an artillerist/demolitionist or long range arms? Maybe a dwarf? Depending on how much variety we need in our cast. I don't know if I can finish it by today though.

Physical Description:


Standing roughly at 6' Feet exactly, 180 lbs Limbo is a rather tall and slender fellow with lanky appendages. His lean abdomen takes up most of his mass as his stringy and undefined arms hang loosely beside him. Dark brown hair covers his brow and Dark green eyes partially while his pale babyfaces complexion often get him mistaken for a child until his uniquely deep and rhaspy voice give his age away.

Skillset:
Limbo specializes in "Chaotic magic" his unrefined style and slightly altered mind allows him to cast spells that physically alter the world around him. Because magic has a mind of it own sometimes, it normally doesnt go exactly to plan, although this doesnt really matter to Limbo since any effect is better than no effect in his mind. Unlike most mages he cannot manipulate the elements, he was never trained to do so. He instead manipulates the physical structure of those elements, letting the magic do what it wishes. (He cannot turn water into ice or throw a fireball, but he can make solid rock melt like candle wax or make the air unbreathable and have weight.)
Limbos specialty is "Lifting the Veil" creating Rifts in the magical dimensions alternate to this world. Allowing himself and others to cross over. Normally this would turn a person mad due to the twisted nature of the other world, but Limbo is already mad so it has little effect on him. (Cant say the same for those he brings with him though)

Limbo does all these things due to his natural ability to "speak" to the arcane energies around him. Living his whole life in a tower built atop a lay line full of dusty old books and minimal human interaction aside from the spirits across the veil and the magic energy itself. (Yea, hes pretty much insane)

Limbo has no physical weapons training or any self defense training aside from flailing his fists in arkward motions hoping to hit something. He was never taught how to defend himself since everyone he knew wanted him to die anyway.

Alright so it looks like I'm a terrible liar. Work decided to kick me in the ass and prevent me from finishing the introductory post which is about half done right now. It should be done today though since I have no consulting visits to do or anything like that to deal with . Meaning that I should get home at a reasonable enough hour to actually finish this damn thing.

I Monk-off all the time, but I wasn't aware that one of them could win over the other. Well, the fact is that one's more of a Dallas from Outsiders with Kung Fu and lightning, and the other one is a metal gorilla version of Jacques from Mortdecai, which are both very un-monkly in application. I mean, they are technically monks in terms of their combat abilities, but they very much differ from monks in terms of equipment, discipline, and ideology... Which, quite honestly, makes them more likely to get into a scuffle than if they were monks...

Pff, Dogface, adorableness aside, makes a terrible mascot. He would obviously be the self-appointed leader.

Dogface isn't very Rocket-ey, he's just a poorly rehashed mythological figure. (He was supposed to be a tanuki, but their 'endowments' are a serious self-injuring liability.) Plus, he's a goddamn badger.
