Kabeyama Chikage

By the time Chikage got to the rooftops there was another magical girl. She didn't look like any student she knew, but she said some strange things. "Return the cards...? Now just wait a moment!" Chikage looked at the girl sternly. She didn't want to fight, but she did want answers. If she had to, she'd use these cards to get them. Chikage studied the girl closely, taking note of her figure and body. After a careful observation, Chikage could guess that this magical girl was actually older, a woman really. She seemed to be waiting patiently for Chikage like how a hunter would wait for prey: with quiet savagery. Chikage didn't need to figure out that if they were to fight, she may lose. Chikage might escape alive, but she'd be hurt and left without any answers.

"You don't want to fight, and neither do I. But you want these cards, and I want answers. So how about a trade than? You answer a question for me, and I'll give you a card." Chikage had the cards tucked into her body suit since she didn't have pockets. She hoped this woman would be willing to deal with her, because while Chikage was armed, she wasn't certain if she could win this fight. And in the distance Chikage also saw... Something big. Big and monstrous. And then there was a sword next to her. Things were just getting stranger and stranger. "What the hell... First question! What are these cards and why do the monsters have them?"

Reiko Kimura as: XII - The Hanged Man

A small smile began to come to her lips, but her eyes were still closed.

"If that is how it must be, then that is how it will be." She said. She drew her arm forward and the cards floating beside her started to float towards the other girl...

"But, do you truly have authority?" She said, stopping the cards. She sounded more lucid right now, but she still didn't open her eyes.

"You call us cursed, but we cannot count anything more than blessings upon us." She said, "You call us sinners but do you truly have the right to judge?"

She put her arm back by her side, but the cards remained floating in the air.

"If you speak on behalf of fate, they would make their way into your hands regardless of what you do. If you speak on behalf of God, should you not have enough power to defy me?" She took one step back, and used her Eye of Enlightenment again. The blazing eye appeared and a wide circle of grey energy appeared around them.

"What will it be?" She said.

Delia Lin

Delia tilted her head as she heard another girl coming over to talk with the girl with heterochromia that got to wear pants. This other girl looked like an angel of some sort... that had been tied up in an oddly suggestive way going by the red marks on her body Wow... this is some fancy dress party we got invited to~ The angel must have had a rough time getting here... hearing the other girl call out and move along Delia chased after her.

“H-hey! Hold on! You haven’t answered my question! Why do you get pants!?” stumbling forward Delia with perfect grace and control... fell over. Her arms lashing out around the waist of the lawnmower smashing, pants wearing, girl. Scrambling to regain her balance, Delia found herself walking along side the girl. “W-wow... that was awkward, you’d think a card like Wheel of Fortune will make me lucky... well I suppose from a certain point of view I might be~”

Grinning up at the girl, Delia looked over her shoulder at the angel “C’mon Angel! This one seems to know what she’s doing! More than me anyway~!” walking closely next to the leader, Delia continued to stare in envy at the girl's legs Why is it that I can't have pants? If I had pants I could've kicked the machine into next week with no reservations!

~Magical Devil~

Reika raised an eye, ignoring the rambles of the shorter and younger girl to turn and face the hulking mass that was the Chariot card. Narrowing her eyes, she watched the brutally forced transformation as the girl howled out in pain before a new being was given breath, shape, and form. The Devil sighed in annoyance before finally turning her attentions back to the newbie.

“…shouldn’t you be in class?” Reika questioned the younger who was admiring her pants. “These come with my Magical Girl attire. You cannot change them. So accept it. That’s why you can’t have pants….Delia Lin. I remember you from the rosters. You’re quite young to be in this business.”

It was no surprise that the Student Body President knew everyone’s face and names, the requirement for her job making it easy to pick other students out. She glanced at the angel girl, noting that she was Enju Hirasawa, another girl that looked too young and too fragile to be partaking in this kind of business.

Still, Reika couldn’t complain as the bellowing of the Chariot Magical Girl resounded all around them. Walking calmly towards it, she made sure to put herself before the other two. After all, she was the one with the most experience.

“If you don’t want to get killed, you’ll stay by me,” was all she said before the Chariot charged straight forward.

Mura Sahashi

Mura stood in the ally, her weapons ready for striking at the massive stuffed toy that barred down upon her. It stared directly at her, eyes glinting in the dull moonlight of the forgotten realm it found itself within. Both arms ripped, tearing outwards and into massive claws which extended further past its torso at extreme lengths. Mura could not allow such a pitiful creature to live, despite its obvious want to only kill the magical girl in front of it. With the way it was attacking, it was like it had no want or need to destroy the land - or more accurately, it knew it couldn't. That was good, since that meant that the surrounding area was likely in no danger to physical or elemental destruction. Though, on the other hand, the creature seemed rather agitated by the fact that it had a bullet hole clean through its chest. Things didn't look as good as they could have, but all things considered maybe everything was perfectly fine.

Mura crouched, swords held clean in front of her before she charged, cleanly dodging one claw and then leaping onto the second, before proceeding to sprint up the arm of the rogue card. Jumping up and onto the beasts shoulders, she swung down - carving a large hole into the next and across the face. Then she doubled back and brought the second blade into the creatures eye, then firing a shot straight through its face. The bear clawed up, grasping at the neck and ripping out a chunk of stuffing before lobbing it at Mura, who had just jumped from its neck and onto a nearby fire-escape. The explosive detonated, destroying a large chunk from the wall and causing the building to topple. The fire-escape collapsed, sending the girl tumbling downwards and colliding with the ground; pieces of broken metal falling on top of her and briefly crushing her. As the bear swung down for another attack, she kicked out - sending a piece of metal into the arm and smashing one of the claws. Then, she pushed the rest of the debris from herself and began to run across the street, but not before turning off and heading back down the road she came from.

The bear was still following close behind, its stomping never ceasing and its chasing never ending. Mura span round, aiming and firing a brief barrage of shots into the creature that kept chasing. They slammed into it; tearing through the fabric it was made from and sending it toppling to the ground. Then she sprinted straight at it, leaping upwards and driving her blades straight into its skull, not before ripping them across its neck in an attempt to decapitate it. To little avail, however, as the bear swung round in a last ditch effort - claws smashing into the girl and sending her tumbling across the street and into the building beside the street. Then the monster stood - its head hanging onto the body by a short thread - and began approaching Mura; claws outstretched and ready to deal a fatal blow. At least it thought, as a blade came arcing through the air and slicing the last threads attached to the head. Mura performed an almighty throw and carved the head of the beast clean off, leaving an odd card sitting. It couldn't have been too important, so she just pocketed it without looking.

Remembering what she heard from before, she made her way to the school. It took her a couple of minutes, but she eventually arrived at her original location. There were people atop the roof, and she made her way into the building as to make her way there. Approaching, she heard it; the blood-curdling scream of the Chariot. That made it even more dire to arrive at the roof, since the people there would either recquire her help or have some answers about what was happening.

Making it there, she saw the group that was present and promptly made her way to them.
"Uh, hello? I need to ask, since I would rather not get myself killed - but what in Gods name is that thing down there?!" she exclaimed, pointing down at the monstrous entity that sat in the field, "Oh, I'm Mura. Pleasure!"

Chapter 00 - House of Cards

-6-

The battle against the rogue Major Arcana finally began, just as a group of new foes appeared in the way of the girls.

What will happen once all these tangled threads of fate unravel themselves?

Magical Justice

[A]

With her companions finally joining the fray, Justice dismissed her Fragarachs and moved to intercept the charging Chariot, providing long range support for The Devil and the other girls to close in on the rogue card safely.

"Dance, mes enfants! Joyeuse, Allegro!" Akane shouted in a lively voice, while waving her staff like a conductor's wand, as a host of six shining swords were summoned behind her and immediately darted towards the Chariot, leaving a trail of iridescent light in their wake.

Once the blades, named after Joyeuse -The Joyous-, Charlemagne's own sword which was said to shift colors thirty times per day, reached the baseball field, they detonated in a explosion of colors and sounds, carpet-bombing the area like a giant fireworks display. While this attack wasn't all damaging, certainly, the Chariot would be temporarily stunned from the flashbang detonation, giving the other girls the time close in and, hopefully, get a shot at it before the card could react.

"It's time for our ensemble to shine, girls! Do your best and don't worry about defense, while I cover you." Justice shouted as she made an impossible leap to the top of the school's clock tower, doing a respectful bow to the other girls as well as their foe, while assuming her expected position as the Battle Maestro.

[B]

Meanwhile, on the roof where Chikage was being faced with an unknown threat...

"What a smart child, I guess that today's youth is not all lost, yet..." The cat woman said to Chikage in a patronizing way, while her tail swished back and forth, even though she never dropped her combat stance or dared to show an opening that could be exploited by Chikage. Considering how amused she seemed, it was clear that the woman thought that she had the upper hand and was playing with Chikage like a mean cat would do to its prey after cornering it.

"I'll play your game, and promise to say only the truth. However, I'll not reveal any information that might compromise my mission or my allies well-being."

"Now, to answer your first question..." The woman made a brief pause before drawing four cards, the Knights of every suit and showing them to Chikage, to better illustrate her point "The cards are called the Forbidden Arcana, a mystic tarot deck used long ago to seal a great evil power. As for the reason why the monsters have them... it's rather simple, in fact, the cards are malfunctioning and the evil power is leaking, causing all sorts of unpredictable phenomena, among which are the creation of these Disjointed Zones and the beings that you have fought against."

"Those were two questions, missy, I should demand two cards as compensation, but I'll give you a momentary reprieve and ask for only one. Think well, about what you'll do next..." The woman said as she extended her right hand to Chikage, demanding the promised card.

[C]

And, on the hallway, with Reiko and the mysterious girl...

"If going against the Will of God isn't to dwell on sin. Then, I ask of you, what is it?" The girl calmly asked Reiko as the rings of her staff jiggled once she struck the floor with it.

"One who has is being controlled by the whims of fate, unconscious even as her body moves and talks under the power of of the Forbidden Arcana has no right to question the words of the Omiko-sama." The girl said, striking the ground with her staff again, as if she was trying to call Reiko back from her trance.

"I'm The Page -the Messenger- and I wield the word of the Omiko-sama in the name of God. Now, fall into the abyss of despair and repent for your sins!" The Page said, striking the floor a third time as a magic circle appeared bellow her feet, quickly expanding to engulf Reiko as well, draining the magical girl of her magical power at an astounding rate.

If Reiko didn't took any action, she would unable to sustain the transformation for too long. Now, that her fate hang on a thread as fine as a hair strand, what will the Chosen Arcana XII - The Hanged Man, do?

Kabeyama Chikage

Instinctively Chikage reached for her notepad, but remembered that in this magical girl form she didn't have her regular pockets or bags. She'd have to remember this stuff, which was going to be troublesome considering all the things that were about to go down. but as promised, a question for a card, so Chikage took out the Ten Coins and flicked it to the mysterious woman. "Forbidden Arcana and the Disjointed Zones. Forbidden Arcana must be what creates the monsters. This Disjointed Zone must be why the sky is red and why I haven't been able to find anyone. God, this really does feel like I'm in some sort of magical girl show. And tarot themes of all things! I don't care if Midori has anything to do with it, I'm going to chew her out..."

Once she was finished with her internal monologue Chikage pointed her stop sign at the cat-woman. "My name... Is the Blood Shadow. Remember it well! Now my next question: What have I... Become? It feels like I'm some sort of magical girl warrior, but honestly I don't know entirely. I knew about some sort of incantation so perhaps I'm some sort of exorcist. Whatever it is, I know that you know! And just to save us some time, I'll ask my last two questions as well." Chikage kept her weapon pointing at the cat woman as she circled away from the edge of the roof and more inward, in the event that the woman attacked her. This way Chikage wouldn't fall off the roof and to her potential doom.

"Who are the other magical girls here at this school?" Due to all the silly outfits, it was hard for Chikage to pinpoint who these girls were. For all she knew they may have a similar transformation as her, where their entire body changes when they transform. Chikage could only hope that maybe she could at least figure out who these girls were so she could investigate if they knew anything that was going on. "And for my final question, why do you want these tarot cards? I fought for them fair and square. If this anything like a video game, I already know that these tarot cards hold some sort of power that could make me stronger the more I have. I'm obviously hesitant to hand them over to you and be at your mercy, if I could just tap into their power and deal with you on equal footing." Chikage then took out Four Cups, Five Wands, and Seven Wands with her freehand. Though she was putting on an aggressive front right now, she was at least going to honor her side of the bargain and give the woman her cards, assuming she gave Chikage the answers she wanted.

Reiko Kimura as XII - The Hanged Man

The circle was clearly affecting her. The Eye of Enlightenment burnt out upon contact with the circle and her aura was waning heavily. However, her smile didn't waver as if she already knew something like this would happen.

"It has truly been a pleasure," She said, giving a small curtsy. "But I must take my leave, I cannot let her wake now."

All of the windows around them began to crack at once. She was being drained of power but she still had enough for this. They all shattered, the shards moving aside and making way for her as she stepped backwards and pulled herself onto the sill.

"Ah yes, one final message for you, messenger." She said. "What is a God to a non-believer?"

With that, she lent backwards and let herself fall.

Delia Lin

Delia was surprised that the pants wearing Magical Girl knew her name, but then was a bit put out
"Hey! School finished for the day and I'm not so terrible a student that I need to stay for extra classes!... hey Master? You've been at this for a while, can you teach me?" continues to stay in the girl's personal space wondering if a different card would get her pants. Then the screaming, the moaning and the sheer aggression of the Chariot made itself known.

Shocked, Delia moved behind the girl leading her, keeping close before hearing some French sounding words and a bunch of glowing swords smashing into the behemoth of an opponent. Next a little floating sword said to just go all out on the thing, not worrying about defense. Well... the girl in front of me seems tough and the sword said to attack... alright!

Stepping to the side to have a clear line of fire, Delia stuck out her hand and her Slot-machine gun fell into it from out of nowhere. Hefting it and whipping it around to be aimed at the Chariot Delia pulled the lever of her one armed bandit. Jangling noises filled the air and what looked like strobe lights emitted from the whirling slots before three purple grapes appeared. Then the over excited voice from before called out again.

GR-GR-GRAPES!

Having announced itself the Slot-machine gun barrel glowed purple before launching a stream of gold coins at Chariot like a mini-gun. The torrent of coins slammed into the giant, as Delia's arms shook at the recoil causing the gun to shake and wildly spray. Thank goodness this thing is big! I don't think I could hit it otherwise!

~Magical Devil~

Reika narrowed her eyes as she saw the barrage of crystal swords pelt the massive doll-like being. Well then, it seemed that Akane was keeping things up on her end. Clenching her clawed gauntlets, Reika calmly walked closer to the howling thing, expression unfazed by its monstrous roars. With dark power gathering behind her, she stepped into a battle-ready stance, eyes tracing where the creature would strike next and…

The sound of a cheesy, overenthusiastic announcer blared out all around her. Frowning deeply, she turned around to see the other girl from before. This time she was armed with a rather strange looking gun, firing out what appeared to be…were those coins? Granted, it was repelling the massive Chariot back some, but it didn’t seem to be doing any long term damage.

“…I am not your master. So stop calling me that,” Reika said with ice in her voice, body never once moving from its position. The Chariot howled out before suddenly lunging forward with a massive swipe of its arm. Well then, it seemed the coins could only do so much after all.

Sighing, Reika steadied her mind before striking the blow the mere instant it connected. Her gauntlets glowing a dark hue of scarlet, she immediately lurched forward herself, a blinding light emitted as she struck the creature down with one mighty blow. Spluttering, the Chariot fell to the Devil as Reika released all of the energy directed at her towards its origin, defeating the creature in one blow.

As the Chariot screamed out, dissolving into darkness, Reika stepped up to the being’s shrinking form. Eyeing the blonde girl that remained, the Devil glanced down at the still pulsing card. Holding out her clawed hand over it, she narrowed her eyes and muttered the familiar incantation.

"You who was led astray by the whims of fate
By the name of the rulers of fate, the Major Arcana
All wrongs shall become rights
Arcana Cleanse."

“…and why are you still here? Shouldn’t you be joining the others on the rooftop?” Reika questioned to Delia as the card was being purified.

Mahou Shoujo Enju

Enju approached the two and was quickly caught up in this mess. The older looking girl who was probably a few grades above her took command and had said they were going to the roof. Enju was shacking on her legs from the cold and gave a muttering questioned to herself in a shacky voice "T-the roof? Why the roof?" This began to look more like a fight now? Had she been watching to many army movies and had gotten nightmares with weird fairy tail girls again? She pinched her own cheek and left out a small yelp "Real..."

The other younger girl simply followed the older girl but Enju kept her distance and trailed behind them. The other two looked pretty close already, She wouldn't want to but in but still had questions for the older girl. She seemed to know what was happening "Pants?" This was truly weird. A red skyed world and you worry about a pants. A light twitch shot through Enju her cheeks and a frown raised up but kept quiet about it. The other younger girl called out to Enju but Enju was found out staring at the two with slight open mouth. She awkwardly stammered back as she noticed that the girl had seen her like this. Enju gave a nod at the girl and slowly ran behind them with her arms swinging from left to right.

Enju stopped and dropped her arms down. Her eyes turned blank as the huge monster was standing right in front of her view. It was something colossal and she was sure that nothing could stop its path. Enju remained helplessly staring at the monster as the other girls had already figured out their plan. The pants loving girl suddenly materialised a slot machine weapon into her hands and began firing at the monster. She didn't seemed feared like Enju did even though this must have been her first time doing this. Enju's eyes pointed at the girl that showes the right way but couldn't make up her mind to try to help "I c-can't take this."

Chapter 00 - House of Cards

-7-

The night's strife was finally over, and as the red mist cleared from the air, it was time for... tea!?

What the heck was happening with the world?

Magical Justice

"Justice"

And so, it was over, the battle had ended with but a single strike from the Devil who have been saving power for a whole lot of time just to do that. If you ask Justice, that was a way too plain way of fighting, but it worked and so it was good.

Just like they say "All's well that ends well" Justice quoted before turning her attention back to the other girls, just as the red mist of the Bounded World faded, revealing once more the usual night sky and the pale light of the silvery moon that is known to all.

"Devil, can you please bring them up here? I'm sure that they must have many questions to ask, so I've prepared a special thing prepared for everyone." Justice said, just as she entered the clock tower's machine room.

☆☆☆

Akane

"Akane"

As soon as she entered the machine room, Akane turned back to her normal appearance and, using a bit of her magic and timely preparation (since she had been using this place for some time already), set up a whole tea party within the innards of the antique looking clock to greet the newly minted magical girls.

"I hope they like it, and Kuroshin as well, since I'm still indebted to her for this afternoon." Akane said to herself just as she moved the preparations forward and waited for the other girls to arrive.

"Alright, Blood Shadow-chan, I'll be sure to remember you," the catwoman said, while twirling her tail amusedly "To pay back for your courtesy... you can call the Knight, and I'm one of the members of Court, who follow the words of Omiko-sama, the Voice of God. That's all that you need to know about us for the time being."

"Now, to answer your other question, before I can take my leave for the night," a Cheshire grin appeared on the Knight's feline face as she considered the best way to say what was so obvious, before she decided to be as direct as possible "Well, my dear, you're girl (or so do I expect) and you have magical powers now, so I guess that you can put one and one together, right?" She said grinning, "Yes, just like you're thinking, you've become one of the newest Chosen Arcana, the magical girls who fight in the name of Love and Justice, with the powers of mystic Tarot cards!" before pointing to Chikage's face, in an obvious mockery, not being able to resist her cat urges to be mean at least a little bit.

"Oh, but seriously, now," the Knight said while trying to stifle a chuckle "I don't know the precise identities of them... If I did, do you think that we would lose the chance to go after you on your homes and threaten you to give us the cards with your families as hostages? After all, we are the villains here, remember?" she said, pointing the obvious yet again. "However, I do know which cards they have..." The Knight proceeded to tell Chikage about the other magical girls cards and known powers in detail, "Is this good enough of an answer?"

"Lastly, if you want to know, yes, the cards that you have will make you stronger, but..." The Knight said as the Cheshire grin came back to her face, "You shouldn't get eager, even with that bonus you're all leagues below our level and you won't get any benefit until you get the cards back to the Fortune Teller, anyway. With that in mind, do you still want to face me?"

However, before the Knight could come closer and retrieve the remainder of Chikage's cards...

☆☆☆

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer?"

"What's God to a non believer!" Those words kept flashing off and off, twisting inside of the Page's head as she repeat the question imposed by Reiko, with her body bent down on the floor and a perplexed expression in her face.

"How come one do not believe in God even as they defy his word?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

"How come?"

The Page questioned herself until the point when her overzealous mind couldn't take it any longer and she let out a cry, way worse than that of The Chariot, shattering the windows of all of third years' corridor, now that the dimensional barrier had ceased to exist. It looked like she was about to go on a full rampage, when...

"How many times have I told you to stay calm, my dear?" The Knight, who had vanished from Chikage's sight and appeared besides the Page in the blink of an eye, said softly "Now, sleep, until we make it back at the Palace..." The older woman said, before knocking the Page out with a blow to the nape.

"Well, I guess that I'll be taking these with me as well." The knight said as she collected the cards that Reiko let drop when she lots control of her magic a few moments ago, before reappearing in front of Chikage, holding the page in a bridal carry.

"This is where we part our ways for tonight, Blood Shadow-chan. The next time we meet, I hope that you've grown enough to take on me in a fair fight." The Knight said while turning her back to Chikage, for the first time ever, exposing a weak spot that the magical girl could explore if she wished to, "By the way, I almost forgot, looks like the other Arcana will be holding a meeting at the clock tower and there's one of you almost drained of all power in front of the main school building. Do of this information what you will..." The knight said and then, finally disappeared in a flash step as suddenly as she had come.

Kabeyama Chikage

"Tch. How annoying..." Was all Chikage could really say in responds to Knight's answers. It confirmed some things, but only left a larger mystery. She knew she was a magical girl, but she didn't know why she was chosen in particular. She that Knight came from some sort of organization that obviously wasn't aligned to the other magical girls at the school, which only made Chikage all the more interested in knowing more about them. If only so she could fight back when they'll inevitably clash. At least the fact that Knight doesn't know their actual identities meant that Chikage's family and personal life was relatively safe, though the cat-woman might have just been lying. Chikage also knew about the other girl's cards and their magical abilities, which would be immensely helpful if they later turn out to be her enemies. Either way Chikage was ready to honor or end of the bargain when the woman suddenly vanished.

Knight's dissapearance was shortly followed by a loud scream. Tucking the cards down her shirt due to a lack of convenient pockets, Chikage gripped her improvised weapon in hand and got ready for another big monster. But instead Knight simply returned with an unconscious girl in her arms. This gave Chikage a small fright, aiming her weapon back at the woman. Knight than told Chikage about a meeting with the other magical girls, as well as one near the school gate who was in a weakened state. Chikage was about to ask why Knight told her this when she vanished. She didn't even take Chikage's cards.

"Well... That was something." It was all very eventful. Chikage wonders if this was all just a dream. A pinch to her cheek, long enough to draw a bit of blood, told her that this was very much real. Magical, but real. Sighing, Chikage had to figure out her next course of action. Going to meet with those other magical girls would help figure out some of Chikage's questions. However Knight also mentioned another girl, drained of her energy near the main building. Chikage didn't want to think what might happen to her if she was left defenseless while there were still so many monsters around. So Chikage went to go investigate the main building entrance, hopefully finding the girl that Knight was speaking of. "Hello? Is anyone around?" Chikage said, still holding the stop sign, ready for combat.

Delia Lin

As her master eliminated Chariot in a single hit, Delia’s jaw dropped and a wide grin split her face. Watching her master handle the Chariot thing easily made her feel confident in her choice of master. She was so many things that Delia wanted to be. She was strong, cool and had style! Noticing the red haze disappear from the sky she looked down at her transformed clothes and dropped her gun, it dissipating into thin air. Frowning a little Delia worried a bit before her master spoke.

“The roof? Alright... master? I now know my card can’t get me pants and I guess I can manage with that, but... what about the coin card I picked up? Also... umm... this is kinda embarrassing, but how do I change back? I don’t like being in a skirt. It’s too girly and I can't kick a thing without having to worry about some peeping tom!” Making a pouting face, suddenly panic flashed in her eyes for an instant before Delia forcibly suppressed it. Glancing enviously at her master’s legs and gulping she grabbed her hand and pulled in the direction of the nearest building.

“C’mon! You gotta teach me how to change back! I don’t wanna be like this forever!” Looking back Delia saw the Angel girl looked rather frail at the moment, pausing briefly she spoke up “Are you okay? You need some water or something? You look kinda tired.”

Mahou Shoujo Enju

The monster that looked so terrifying. Before had suddenly vanished by the big attack of the bossy girl. Enju was however still caught in her terror state. Her eyes twitched as her endless gaze still pointed forwards. The other young girl jumped around the upper class girl and didn't seem in any way bothered by the fact that they were almost just killed. The senpai walked over to where the creature just was and got hold of another one of those card that Enju had found too. The younger girl continued on rattling about wanting pants but out of concern asked if Enju was alright.

Enju slowly looked over at her and gave a quiet creepy nod. If it was something she couldn't handle then that would be horror films "I-i quess I'm just a little t-tired." Her eyes became a little wet but the tears just about stayed in her eyes as she slowly shuffled over towards the other girl. The senpai sure looked scary so she would be avoiding her for the time being. Enju shuffled behind the other young girl and hid behind her from her senpai "C-can I get out of this u-uniform, the wings are starting to itch and are pretty heavy." A red blush covered her face as she asked the senpai "P-please."

Reiko Kimura

Chikage would find a completely unconscious Reiko in front of the main entrance. The Hanged Man had slowed her descent but the night had ended abruptly and her transformation had cut out with it. The Hanged Man card lay on the ground beside her providing proof of her status as a magical girl. It would be a little difficult to figure out who she was if Chikage didn't recognize her because Reiko's bag was probably still inside the Library.

Reiko wasn't waking up any time soon though, she muttered feverishly even while she was unconscious. A worrying sign for anyone.

~Magical Devil~

Reika held in a sigh as Delia continued to pester her about the pants issue. It didn’t help that the angel girl, who Reika recognized as Enju Hirasawa, was also having trouble transforming out of their Magical Girl attire. The Devil folded her arms and found a space of wall to lean back on. If she was going to be training rookies, she might as well find some comfort in it.

“The simplest way of transforming both into your outfits and out of them is to simply concentrate. Or for starters like you two, find a happy memory or object and picture it in your mind. It doesn’t guarantee the complete transformation but it does assist.”

The Devil waited for the other two to get the hang out of it, as long as that would take, before soon transforming out of her Magical Girl clothes herself. Studying the two newbies, Reika ran a hand through the length of her hair and flipped it idly, turning away and heading right back towards the roof of the school. No doubt Akane was already there waiting for them.

“Come along. We have much to discuss. If you are to be one of us now, you need to learn to be strong and carry your own weight. I will not always be there to protect you,” Reika said with little emotion, leading the way. When they arrived, Reika took pause at the wide assortment of decorations Akane had put up in such short notice. The girl really was dedicated wasn’t she?

“Where is our third comrade?” she asked the other senior Magical Girl. “If she’s skipping out responsibility in training these two or however more we have, I’m giving her a free detention,” Reika said mechanically before finding a seat and sitting down, flipping her hair in wait.

Delia Lin

A flicker of confusion crossed Delia’s face as Reika described how to transform out of the magical girl form A happy memory or object? What? Umm, okay... wow... will any one do? scrambling for a particular memory Delia got a bit flustered and finally landed on a simple memory of Delia and her family on a picnic. There was nothing particularly special about it, it was just a moment of pure content.

Concentrating on that memory, Delia’s transformation slowly disintegrated breaking off of her like leaves in an autumn breeze before turning into nothingness. Finding herself back in her own clothes again made Delia smile involuntarily.

Looking at Reika, Delia's mouth almost dropped open. Reika's boots and stuff shortened as her shirt and hair lengthened, tilting her head in confusion she watched Reika lead the way. Almost skipping, Delia hurried to keep up with Reika who led her to the roof and some room that was nicely decorated and another girl was already there and Reika’s words implied there was another yet to come.

Walking over Delia sat down next to Reika, looking around with a grin on her face. Absent mindedly swinging her legs Delia looked to the other girl that seemed to be the owner of the place.

“This place is nice... is this your hideout or something? It has a kinda majestic feel to it. Oh! I’m sorry, I’m Delia and she is now my Master~! What’s your name?” grabs Reika’s arm and holds it close as she asks the bookish girl. Looking over to the entrace "Excuse me, Angel? Are you coming in? This place is pretty amazing~!"

Kabeyama Chikage

Chikage was on her toes, careful of any ambushes. After what she's gone through these past hour, Chikage wasn't about to drop her guard. As she looked around for the other magical girl she noticed a girl laying on the ground. Chikage recognized her as a girl who goes to her school, perhaps even one of her classes, though she didn't know the girl personally. Regardless she was down and possibly injured, so Chikage ran up to the girl. Near her was the Hanged Man tarot card. "She must be a magical girl too... Don't worry, we'll get you out of here."

In real life, despite Chikage's training, carrying a girl wouldn't be easy for Chikage. At the very least she'd need to make sure she wasn't holding onto anything else, and she might be able to do it for a few minutes. But in this form, Chikage was able to pick up the girl with ease, so much that Chikage almost wasn't certain how she should carry the girl. She settled for bridal style. But now she needed to know what to do next. The skies no longer had their red tinge, so they weren't in a Disjointed Zone anymore. Perhaps Chikage could take this girl to a hospital? But how would she explain her costume? It certainly looked fantasy enough to be cosplay, though it would be quite suspicious... "Perhaps... Perhaps the meeting? Surely they have some way to help..." Without much options left Chikage carried the girl up to the school's clock tower, where the other magical girls were supposedly meeting. Before she left, Chikage also took the Hanged Man tarot card, tucking it into her top.

It was a bit of a struggle to maneuver the girl up the stairs, but Chikage eventually reached the clock tower. There were other girls already here and that made Chikage nervous, but after a bit of a pep-talk Chikage entered the room. "... Hi. Can someone help me?" Chikage motioned towards the girl in her arms.

Mahou Shoujo Enju

Senpai explained her the way of changing out of her costume attire thing "T-thing about s-something happy." Enju looked down at the ground with her face reddening a little. She closed her eyes and concentrated on something happy but it looked like she almost tried to concentrate to hard. She was trying to concentrate so hard that simple things began to take her concentration away like the scary sounds of a simple crow. She frightfully returned behind pants asking girl her back and cautiously glared around her. The costume wasn't gone yet but she at least had an idea on how it worked. She really wanted to change back right now and get away from this mess but knowing that these monsters she had seen existed only put her more off to walk alone at night now.

Delia changed back pretty easy and was already growing pretty accustomed to the magical girl life as it seemed. Enju felt embarrassed that she couldn't do it yet but hopped after Delia and senpai towards the top of the clock tower. Enju quietly followed with her angle like wings flapping every step she took. It was getting pretty heavy to lift the wet white wings all the way up towards the tower but she made it. Enju was lightly panting as she was standing at the top of the stairs. It was almost as if she was dragging her feet along with her. She got closer to the other girls and gave a short nod at Delia before she entered. She remained behind Delia and tried once more to change herself back but the talking off the other girls only refrained her from doing so. Once more Enju tried and she was finally able to get something done. Her costume slowly disintegrated but only halfway before someone else entered behind them. She quickly turned around while she was half herself and half still a magic girl. Enju reached out towards the girl to help her but she felt that her balance felt a bit off. Enju took one step and immediately fell towards the right by the weight of her sole wing. Her face was planted against the wall as she could only muffle and cringe in pain.
