Appearance:
With an overall disheveled appearance, it is hard for some people to believe that Hal is a man of intellect and not just some random vagrant who found his way into SOLDIER's base of operations. He wears whatever happened to be lying around the place --pray to whatever higher power you may or may not believe in that whatever he picked up is clean-- and the last time Hal property done his hair or beard is a mystery of the century. Lucky for him, Evangeline is around to cover for him and, unlike him, she has standards. He can be seen wearing the same old eyeglasses off-and-on; the only thing that not even Evangeline can convince Hal to throw away.

Despite proclaiming that he prefers to stay indoors, Hal has tanned skin and a number of scars that were unlikely to have been made by indoor activities. It is true, however, that the only reason why Hal has any muscles to speak of is because it was the bare minimum required to pass SOLDIER training. Hal has brown eyes and equally brown hair with strings of gold; suggesting exactly how long the hair shaft has been sunbathing and how much Hal doesn't give a damn about hair care.

Personality:
Hal is a man who never forgets to smile and never stops trying to bring a smile on others, though he is far from being an expert at it. He will take every opportunity to crack a joke, even if it's not actually funny, clever, or appropriate. He will also laugh at every joke, again, even if it's not actually funny, clever, or appropriate --sometimes even when the "joke" is not a joke at all. All in all, it's fairly easy to please the man. It is also likely why many think that Hal is a simple minded man.

As much of a surprise it may be to some, Hal does have an IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence) greater than 0. He is a compassionate man, who cares deeply about the needy, his family, and close friends --although the latter two will always take priority above all else. He is especially empathetic towards and supportive of individuals who are determined to accomplish a difficult task, downtrodden, altruistic, and/or family-oriented. When something bad happens to his family or friends, Hal takes it personally, but when something good happens to them, he is just as happy for them as they are.

Like many other scientists, Hal is a curious and adventurous individual not afraid of trying new things and not particularly opposed to change as long as it is beneficial to as many people as possible. Though he may not agree to every idea or belief, he tries to keep an open mind. As adventurous as he may be, however, this does not mean he enjoys placing himself in danger. In fact, he has a tendency to run and hide at the first hint of danger. Some may say he does this because he is a coward or because he is a pacifist --both are true, to a certain degree--, but the truth of the matter is that it was the most effective way to survive the slums when he was younger and it has been a hard habit to break.

"But isn't that what we all do? Cover our ears, shut our eyes tight, and tell ourselves that nothing is wrong? People like to do that you know: we like to dream that we're not living a nightmare."

Biography/Background:
Hal was born in the slums; a part of the city where the pariahs naturally migrated towards even before the war began. Normally anyone born in these slums and were not lucky enough to get a minimum wage job made a living in one of two ways: crime and prostitution. Sometimes both. Neither was what Hal's family wanted for him. Although it may have been too late for them, they all did what they could do for him to get out of the slums. Hal didn’t want to disappoint them, so he also did what he could do to make their dream come true. He studied rigorously for years and despite having no formal education, Hal managed to enroll into a university and, later on, work as a genetic engineer for a prestige organization. His career as a scientist took an abrupt turn when the monsters of destruction, which seemingly appeared out of nowhere, annihilated everything in their path: including the slum Hal came from. His family was slaughtered along with the thousands of other people. Hal had just barely completed the first few stages of grief when anger took over his mind and he decided that there was only one course of action: revenge. He'd find those responsible and he'll end "this" once and for all. Gravely concerned of the war's recent intensification, Hal's superiors agreed to Hal's request to transfer to SOLDIER as a science expert.

Hal has been a family friend of the Dashelle's long before Evangeline came into this world. After Evangeline --who Hal dubbed "Bubbles"-- was born, he has been taking care of her like an older brother; when her parents weren't there for her, Hal was. People who know the two, however, would proclaim that it is the other way around: Evangeline was the one who's been taking care of Hal. A claim that Hal has no intention to outright affirm --he does have some pride, you know-- or deny --he'd rather not lie, because he knows more than anyone that it is true.

Weapon:
Hal does not like to fight and will do his best to avoid it, but if he is forced to engage in combat, he will fight using a scythe made out of bones and ice, which can be summoned at anytime.

Aeon:
Marzanna
Blue & BlackWater & Death
Known as the "Aeon of Winter," Marzanna is best described as a corpse kept together by ice. This ice lich is a rather lanky giant with long talons and is thought to be a digitigrade based on "her" --or so they assume-- bone structure. Most of Marzanna's "undead" body is covered with a very extravagant, though somewhat tattered, black and dark blue dress protected by what seems to be armor made out of bones. Although a majority of her face is concealed by a black veil and a "skull helm" with large icicle like horns, scientists described her having silver hair and moonstone eyes with black sclera. Every inch of Marzanna, including her garment, is covered in frost, which glitters in the light.

Limit/Overdrive:
Winter is Coming
Those not adequately protected, friend or foe, will freeze to death by the sudden arrival of a mighty blizzard. The dead are reanimated and act as Hal’s minions, attacking any remaining enemies.

Kain Bradwell


Appearance.
Kain is built like a locomotive from hell. He stands 6'4, 220 lb of muscle and grit. This towering specimen of a man is the ideal SOLDIER in some ways. He is physically powerful, athletic and with a a cut figure that was made for recruitment posters. Kain does his best to ruin this illusion by wearing the most unflattering of clothes. All that hard work to keep his body in tip top shape is wasted on ill fitting combat fatigues and what ever he find comfortable to wear. His eyes are a dark almond color, his skin is weather bitten and scarred in many places. His hair is cut short, and he keeps his beard trimmed to a neat, manageable 5'o'clock shadow.

personality.
Outside work, Kain is a serious individual who puts great care into everything he does. Kain dislikes misunderstandings and hates being left out the loop. This combined with a strong sense for justice, makes him a troublemaker as he will get on peoples nerves over perceived aggression and slights. But what he does, he does from good heart and will to do the right thing. But this has a darker edge to it, Kain doesn't let go of grudges and he is like a honey badger when it comes to punishing a perceived wrongdoing. He has been known to cause severe bodily harm to people who he consider irredeemable and to those who have tried to stop him in his tracks.

Kain is the former object of abuse, and has become extremely protective of others he feel suffer similair fate. So protective in fact, that has spent time behind bars for assaulting a particularly offensive and abusive officer. His temper is nothing impressive, for a man who spent so much of his life fighting, he flies of the handle to easily to be considered entirely stable. Despite his size and thuggish appearance, Kain is very keen and surprisingly intelligent. He is no way a gentle giant, but he has good heart beneath all those scars.
biography/background.

Kain has suffered the cruelty of being a outsider his entire life. He was borne the most impoverished parts of the capital and lived a life in squalor with his parents. They had to scrape for food, and Kain was a fast growing kid who needed more then what ever meager meals they could acquire. These desperate years would lead to him suffering the wrath of his parents whenever he overate or caused them trouble. But he was genetically gifted, he was strong and whatever hard labor jobs he could find once growing older, helped him grow into the burly man he is today. Sometime around his 13th birthday, his mother and father both passed due to accident with a collapsing wall in the tunnel where they slept for the night. All alone, Kain found refuge at a local orphanage.

But a tall, big boy such as him was prime target for the smaller but more vicious who saw a big dumb kid to bully. But Kain, as it happened, had a limit. Not sure what to do, he bottled his anger until it overflowed and he beat one of the kids half to death. Kicked out of the orphanage as soon as he hit 17, Kain was picked up by the army. At first he only trained and helped with logistics, but soon he began gearing up. As soon as he hit 18 he was seeing his first front line missions. His time on the front made him more unstable and he suffered from a short temprament. After assaulting a superior officer after the man had berated and verbally abused his comrades, Kain was put in a detention cell. It was then SOLDIER approached him. They considered him a prime specimen for the project and he was chosen to carry Gibils genes.

Kains massive frame and powerful body makes his ideal for the heavy 3-hander blades like a Flamberge or Claymore. His blade, known as the ”Firebrand” is forged out a particular black and red alloy found withing meteor craters. Its almost as long as him and he wields it as if it was tooth pick.

Breif description.

Best described as a temperamental embodiment of justice, Gibil does not care about collateral in the quest for punishing those it deem wicked. Taking the shape of a man in wicked armor and brandishing a blade that burns eternal, it is a very ominous being. Scientist report that the blade burns at a impossible level of heat, yet it dissipates almost as soon as it leaves the blade. Skulls from beings not of this world hang from its belts, and the armor seems to be made out strange alloys only found within segment of meteor craters.

limit/overdrive.
Fires of Judgement: Kain calls upon a manifestation of his Aeons power, summoning down a massive fiery sword from above. It smashes into the earth and send a rippling wave of fire that ignites everything with superheated flames, leaving a smoldering, burning area around its point of impact.

Trivia
Kain has tried to give up smoking 4 times in his life. Each time his life as gotten worse shortly after. He is now convinced there is something supernatural going on

Kain doens't know it, but his Aeon cells burn the toxic and tar of cigarettes. And also light his cigarette for him. Scientists believes this is part of of his powers manifesting subconciusly.

Kain has the current SOLDIER record for bench press, dead lift and squats.

The SOLDIER program also use him as the theoretical outlier for their cost and efficiency protocols regarding food. Or as a certain Sentinel Commander said: "If all Soldiers ate like Kain, we'd be bancrupt in two months."

A once red-headed boy who turned the color of his hair into blonde due to past experiences he dared not to reminisce. One can hardly tell that he was once a young man of pathetic proportions, standing thin and bony almost as if he was malnourished. SOLDIER drastically transformed him into someone he wanted to be: a strong, vigorous individual driven by his own will and perception of what is right and just.

Drawing the man's fairly tall exterior lies a body frame built for the battlefield. Broad shoulders and a set of lean, compact muscles join together to structure a physique made to withstand what the ungentle world can bring about. Matty's eyes are grey in color but can, at times, appear at a different shade from a certain distance. He has thick eyebrows and a thin nose ending on a curved tip. His face is square-like, shaped by his flat chin and defined cheekbones. His blonde hair is often trimmed when it deviates from the standard length he desires. A few strands of red are still present particularly on the sidelines but such a scanty bunch wouldn't border beyond his convenience.

personality.
A steadfast man who never wavers his own fortitude during the times of trials and contentions. A man who endures the bleakness of war, eager to reach a promised salvation through determined deeds of prosperity. It is perhaps astonishing to know that back then, Matty was an apathetic fool who sees nothing of the world from his hopeless delusions. He was a weak, dying spirit who looked nearly impossible to instill a glimmer of change. Until his fate shifted, giving him eyes to see and a vision to establish objectives with.

Matty is a man of passion, upheld by a conviction of peace and progression. He views war as nothing more than a meager tribulation against mankind's stand, often treating as a challenge but never underestimates its nature. Compared to what he was before, Matty cultivated an optimistic perception of reality, foreseeing a tranquil haven that became a firm outcome of man's unity towards a single agreement, which is peace. Men with such beliefs are often labeled as fools by many but even when Matty knows how others see him, his unshakable grip of his own beliefs stays the same.

To others, Matty is this unyielding flame that never dies out regardless if it rains. He treats people with equal compassion and respect as he strongly sees the good out of everyone. At frequent times, mischief plays a large fraction of his persona to let others see his often comical yet charming image. Like other people conscripted through military programs, Matty possesses an endearing concern for his friends and does his best to reach out whatever conflicts or disputes they may raise. Matty also cherishes any particular relationships he would develop among his peers, making sure that his sense of companionship delivers them out from loneliness.

However, behind the visage ignited by zeal and kindness lingers an unhinged side of the man who fears an outcome of loss. Death is what Matty fears the most. He detests people dying without a cause and with it, developed an insight of dread that one day, he might suffer the same fate. For all he knew, it was the fragment of his own past which never managed to change up until his present timeline.

biography/background.
Gone were those days when prestige and luxury were a part of his nourishing livelihood. Before spiraling down to a near oblivion, Matty lived his life as a stoic. A prodigal lawyer who relentlessly fought for peace and order as what was ordained by the philosophies of his predecessors. Little did he know that his vision for the Capital's welfare was only a bridge to benefit his own jeopardy. One of which was the untimely death of his fiancee, Jacqueline Harrion.

The first phase of the crime's investigation had convicted Matty as the prime suspect of his fiancee's demise as he was the one who stood at close contact when authorities arrived. However, links were carefully reviewed to a previous case Matty has closed following the corruption of the Capital's legislative council. Later on, it was found out that the murder had affiliations with the Capital's vice mayor and was soon accused of previous cases that shared similar aspects to Jacqueline's murder judging from their particular nature, which were all hired assassinations. Once the cases were arranged, the vice mayor was proven guilty and given a life sentence from his horrific acts of corruption. This led Matty to initiate an act of revenge as he lost his volition to stand strong despite the grueling fate of his fiancee.

Nobody expected Matty to come during the vice mayor's court trial but he did manage to pay his attendance nevertheless. While he tried to deliver his innocence in-front of the court, he grabbed a pistol he carried behind and shot the vice mayor while a live broadcast was being aired across the Captial. Matty was immediately placed behind bars after the incident where he spent nearly three years in legal restraints. From how he was consumed by vengeance steered his life down a steep course with no certainty of how his years will pass by in the future.

Matty was given parole and a promised release but in exchange of being deployed to render service for the Dalmastice government. In time, he agreed with their terms mainly because he was left with nothing, not even a choice he can freely speak out. He was eventually delivered to SOLDIER upon release as part of the agreement.

Matty doesn't hold a fascination towards weaponry as he prefers facing his opponents with his bare hands and level himself with his bravado. However, at times, he does enjoy his flamethrower and the weapon's mechanism fascinates him to a certain extent, that he drove himself onto developing a skillful understanding and customization of the equipment.

Described as the fallen goddess who ascended from the greater depths of the pandemonium, seeking what's worth to feed her eternal rage. Laharah takes form of an incorporeal huntress with having several burning spears pierced around her body. Her hair and eyes are entirely made up of flames and the rest, of molten lava. On her head sits a crown of bones, untouchable by the flames engulfing her hair. Ethereal tethers are chained around her feet but where they extend cannot be seen. On her back rests a pair of orange wings that when spread, set themselves ablaze. How they look strongly resemble as that of an angel's.

Infernal Empire
Sends a ravaging impulse that shakes the earth and rips the ground apart, spawning craters along its wake. Streams of molten lava will be spewed out from the craters and create a river of inferno.

trivia.
relationships.
Dach: An acquaintance from the Capitol's grimy prison cells. At a certain point when inmates of both genders were allowed to gather at one facility, Matty and Dach often conversed about subject matters involving the tainted corruption of the Capitol and its legislative council. There were minimal mentions of his deceased fiancee as well but stories about those were never voluntarily told unless forced upon. Such conditions were negotiated when Dach gave him an exchange deal for a pack of cigarettes if he gave more details about his fiancee. Nevertheless, Matty agreed with her terms and thus formed a certain kind of friendship throughout the times they've spent behind bars.
other.
  • Much to his liking, Matty spent a large amount of time serving for SOLDIER's mess halls as a cook while not in training session.
  • SOLDIER occasionally regarded Matty's insights of the true claims behind the Vice mayor's affiliations of hired murder. Most were directed to his lawsuit which was what Matty had brought to an impeachment before being imprisoned. However, the information only reached among SOLDIER's curious minds and never bordered beyond their actions.
  • Whenever he finds time, Matty shares his knowledge and understanding of advanced hand-to-hand combat with other SOLDIER recruits. Up to today, he still does it but only when he's free from other important tasks.

Appearance.
She claimed a stature that was neither impressive or easily impressed upon. Strong and lean; traits afforded her due to a life unaccustomed to stagnation and fed consistent cardio. Her ears were laced with metal from tip to lobe surrounded by hair the color of waterlogged rosewood. Her eyes have always appeared sharper and more focused than her brothers, prior to the SOLDIER program. The only change was that the predominant judgmental and complacency reflected within them is now fringed with a solid focus and determination. A heavy gunmetal black traced about her eyes, some of the only makeup she wore regularly.

Dach appears quite at home sitting amongst destruction. Lips curled in pensive and somber thought that touched her expression with a cause, and an occasional flicker of bemusement. She favors function and ease in clothing. She hasn’t sacrificed all sense of fashion, but she sticks to muted tones and combat boots. To imagine her in pink and heels would be laughable, and she would likely take offense. From beneath clothing peek out tattoos and scars that lick across her skin in reflection of merriment, penance and sacrifice. Some whisper secrets entombed within her own will while others are a gentle ache of hangover. They venture to give personality where hers has felt, stagnant.

Personality.
She wasn’t raised in a community that valued fair play or fair fights and she learned to take a punch early on. She’s learned to work with what she’s got and adapted to survive. Even at a young age she became a manipulator; using others almost instinctively. She sought weakness in everything so that she could exploit it. Sleight of hand and quick with her tongue. Lies fell from her lips without notice while her true self was locked away.

She was once more playful and reckless, but it was only a glimmer there now. Deep down she viewed SOLDIER as her last chance to not slip through the cracks to die in a gutter without a murmur of remorse from the world. She lacked the proper social skills and academic prowess to climb in ranks anywhere but on the battlefield so she focused all her energy into aspects of training. With the focus and training she adapted. She gained control over her emotions, mind and body. She acts with a clear head even in extreme pain or chaos. She pushes her emotions down and centers her energy on a goal, scheming with patience. She distracts herself from her own emotions by focusing on others. She can be rather insightful when she puts her mind to it.

Much of her interaction is forceful, her tone and attitude blunt. She’s working on it though. With the bred and nourished battle attitude also came an acceptance of loss. She is not the “get everyone out alive” type, but leans more towards an understanding of expected and accepted losses. Overall, her outlook towards human life is largely apathetic. Though she’s also working really hard on loyalty; trusting her peers and having them trust her. It suddenly means a lot to her to have a connection and people to trust.

Background.
It was almost inevitable that she would wind up as a number for the government in some shape or form. There were plenty with the excuse that the slums provided nothing of sustenance, but she had never really struggled. She made do, in fact she thrived in the deteriorated ghettos of the capital. She still misses it on occasion; not the smell, the smell of battle was better, but there was somehow more freedom in the invisible nature of poverty. It was in this invisible shade cast upon the deviants of the slums that she blossomed.

Sure, she didn't really work within the law, but you could call her a supporter. She worked for hire, with little allegiance other than to the almighty paycheck. As long as you don’t mind getting your hands dirty you could make it by just fine; and even have a little fun along the way. It's almost humorous she hadn’t thought of SOLDIER on her own, because truth was military work wasn't that different than street work. Truthfully, government work of any kind had never even crossed her radar while she was coming up. That is until she was arrested in the capital for murder, thievery and illegal solicitation.

A guard had passed on the advice that when she faces judgment she opt for joining SOLDIER program and she did just that. The decision from there was pretty clear. She didn’t waste any time regretting the choice. She was quite suited for military work. She was used to taking orders and figuring out a way to bend the rules enough to be comfortable. Of course, SOLDIER program was much more organized and strict than anything she’d been apart of before, but it was also better funded, which meant better weaponry and gear. She found the thrill of battle and the seemingly unlimited training was an apt trade for a bit of lost freedom.

Can harness mist in small area to conceal herself in battle. The mist effects the mental capacities of people around her; effects vary. She can still see clearly within it while others can not.

A coherent yet defective melding of leathery wings, tentacles and an evasive camouflage of gray and nothingness, secreting a palpable mist and infectious empathy. It took some time for scientists to realize the true form could only be captured on film and viewed away from the aeon, otherwise the visage is viewer specific and transitory. It’s own intentions are muddled in a impossible translation of alien to human madness and compassion. It isn’t evil in so far as it’s incomprehensible. It speaks in a windy howl that stirs something benevolent in most.

Limit/overdrive.
.Affinity Parasite
A low wind blows, dragging a mist from nothingness to pool thickly, disguising tentacles that slither and attach to available hosts. The grip tightens and forces an empathetic tie that sews doubt and confusion as to their initial mission and align them with hers. Wears off quickly when contact is broken.


Trivia.
.Relationships
Sophia; Dach worked delivering explosives to eco-terrorists and built up a friendship with Sophia. Sophia represents a better, and worse, time for Dach and thus has quite a bit of sway on Dach's mental state; usually pushing her towards letting go of her new found focus and control and accepting a more reckless and joyful disposition.

Matty; Dach met Matty during the brief time men and women inmates co-inhabited the 'shared space'. He introduced her to ideas and thoughts about corruption in the Capitol that she had never even bothered to consider. She found what few things he requested in exchange for his stories. He was as much a friend as Dach had during that time.
.Other
She has a serious gambling problem. She will gamble on almost anything. Who can take the quickest shower, which body part will get shot off first, ect. She tries to fight it, but if pressed she'll buckle and bet.

Quill definitely gives off a cool vibe. She has pale skin and light gray eyes. She looks as if she should be constantly cold. Her face looks young with open eyes, sleek cheeks, and full lips. She wears make-up, usually consisting of simple, light colors of red, pink, blue, or white. She has long, silver hair. Her hair length stretches to her hips. She likes to play with her hair in various lengths and shades, but always likes her natural silver hair color.

She stands at 172 centimeters. She has a full figured frame, weighing 130 lbs. She has light freckles that cover her shoulders and upper back. She has a tattoo on her lower back of tribal angel wings. Her attire consists of very feminine clothing when not in uniform, like dresses, skirts, blouses, heels, and handbags. Her coloring choice consists of whites, blacks, pinks, blues, and grays.

personality.
Quill, despite her cool exterior, has a warm interior. Though she isn't as talkative as some of the other members of SOLDIER, when she does speak she is friendly, calm, and sincere. Usually, she doesn't show many emotions towards those she doesn't know or trust, appearing as an "ice queen" of sorts (given her coloring choice, this helps cement that image). To those she knows well, they say she is the bright light in a dark room. Rarely, if ever, angered, she prefers to be optimistic in the harshest of circumstances. It would take extreme conditions to break her down and get her to become enraged.

Quill is also bright and intuitive. She values knowledge above all else and seeks to explore and learn all there is out there. Due to her inquisitive nature, she actively seeks out new experiences, almost to the point of danger.

Even though she doesn't prefer conflict, she won't shy away from a challenge, especially if her friends are threatened or in danger. She remains the positive light the team needs with her medical skills and soothing words.

biography/background.
Quill wasn't deprived of anything growing up. Born in an influential family, she didn't want for anything. The only thing she needed to do was to be a perfect daughter, by any means necessary. Forced under strict rules and constantly scrutinized, any act not deemed appropriate by her parents forced Quill into submission and order. She had to dress a certain way, act a certain way, talk and walk a certain way. "Nothing less," screamed her father. Little did Quill know that her parents had plans for their daughter that weren't so perfect.

The time came upon her eighteenth birthday. Years of strict servitude made Quill uneasy and depressed. She yearned for any departure from the norm. She remained the loyal daughter to her parents. She remained emotionless, didn't talk back, and did as she was told. Her parents, proud that they formed her to exact specifications, finally showed their hands. Quill was to be sent and married off to some rich man who wanted the "perfectly trained wife." Her parents struggled with funds as the years went by and were promised a hefty sum for Quill's hand. Betrayed by her parents, Quill rebelled and fought back, breaking the man's arm in the struggle and ruining her and her parent's reputation. Angered by the rebellion, her parents forced her out of their home.

Quill found sanctuary in an older woman's home, named Leia. Leia was a healer and many came to her for medical needs ranging from broken bones to deep wounds. Quill marveled at the woman's kind nature and healing hand and begged the woman to take her on and train her. Leia accepted and taught Quill all she knew. She didn't skimp on training and worked Quill hard with various methods of training. She also instilled Quills' love of learning new things. "Life is about the journey, not the destination." Leia would always tell Quill that phrase.

Eventually, Quill was sought out by SOLDIER to join their forces. Unknown to Quill, even to this day, Leia was the one who suggested Quill join in her place as SOLDIER originally wanted her instead. Confident in her abilities, Quill accepted and joined to help with healing, eventually getting placed as her team's combat medic.

Lythander is the "Prince of Healing" and is sought after and looked upon by those in the healing profession. He appears as an angel, to give hope and wonder to those who see him. Lythander is kind-hearted and affectionate, but knows that there needs to be justice in the world and can be strong and fierce when needed. Despite being a healing Aeon, he knows that death is a natural occurrence and helps the passage towards the end be as easy as possible.

Beside natural pulchritude, Sophia has a slender build, smooth skin, and lush hair. She usually wraps herself in comfortable, flowy clothing of earthen tones. Her eyes are avocado green. Her body is of the modest, chaste kind. These physical attributes and fashion choices allow Sophia to be silent and light in her movement; ideal for such activities of questionable legality that she spent the last days as a civilian indulging in.

personality.
The way of the world is a simple matter according to Sophia. There are only dualities that complement each other. Whereas some will see binary opposition, Sophia will see symbiosis. She is thereby a person of firm beliefs and passions, whom gladly contradicts illusions and established norms created by people to make them feel better about their savage nature. There is nothing wrong with instinct, desire, or decay and renewal. For, once the life of mortal flesh expires, the spirit will return to nature and be reborn.

Sophia will speak her mind and heart without doubt or shame for all to hear. Life must be lived with absolute naturalness; intrinsic thought and reasoning is futile; one must simply go with the flow. Therefore, Sophia is a person of sublime aptitude, spontaneity, and harmony without any signs of remorse, control, or restriction. These philosophies and notions are deeply rooted within her frame and religious affiliation.

Despite her autonomous attributes, Sophia can be perceived as reckless, egocentric, and callous. However, such are the foundations of nature and death; the two aspects from which we emanate and strive towards; beautiful simplicity. Sophia’s fallacy is that she rarely adopts self-criticism, introspection, or brooding; rarely considers logic, justice, or relevance. For, there is only naturalness and emotion. She does not perceive her way of life as superior to that of others, but foundational to all ways of life.

In her fallacies, however, Sophia’s way of life is tainted and corrupted. By refusing certain aspects of life, she defies the very aspects she claims to live by. She is a murky swamp, deep inside a dark forest; forcing surrounding life to meet death prematurely should they venture near. Therefore, she is not as natural or spontaneous as she thinks, but quite the contrary; she is unnatural and caused.




background.
Sophia was born in Gatrea to Marcel and Andrea Moldoveanu. They were simple folk from the south-western regions of the spiritual continent. Sophia’s father was a whaler and spent a great deal of time sailing the Willodale Ocean, and her mother was a jeweler and artist of luxury adornments. As loving parents, they never imposed their own beliefs upon their daughter. In fact, they were quite modest in their religious practices compared to other Gatreans. However, Sophia grew up to become quite an extremist in regards to Gatrean religion and relationship to nature and spirituality.

On her eighteenth birthday, Sophia made the traditional pilgrimage to the Temple of Fayth. She met with like-minded young adults and a number of priests that shed light upon her questions and worries. One man in particular shared her strong beliefs in the balance of nature and flow of the universe, almost to a fault. Sophia learned that he had on more than one occasion been warned about his slightly radical philosophies, but it had not stopped him yet. He explained that the course of history in the world had not been kind to the things Gatreans cherish most, and that nature was out of balance. Sophia wholeheartedly agreed.

Sophia decided to work with the outcast priest for a year or two. She arranged meetings with other devout individuals, studied Gatrean history and origins, and tended to her spiritual mentor when he fell ill. Sophia was stricken by despair when he died a few months later, but knew that he wanted her to realize and accept it as a natural thing; she never shed a tear since.

A few weeks after his funeral, Sophia left Gatrea. She spent months traveling the world, searching for something that her mentor had mentioned in his notes: Augury Bloom. In her zealous endeavors, however, she slowly deteriorated into a corruption of her former self, as she beheld the unnatural way of the realms outside of Gatrea. One could say that she radicalized herself and became an eco-terrorist of sorts. It was in her darkest days that the balance of nature caught up with her and she was apprehended. However, on the day that she was meant to meet death and return to the nature she loved so dearly, fate decided to put her abilities to use elsewhere.

This horrific creature is of thorns and root, moss and poison, corruption and ichor. Its domain linger deep inside forgotten forests and murky swamps, in the hidden corners of the world where the light of day is dimmed by gloomy mist. It was allegedly found and captured in Gatrea, which might explain why its legacy, or lack thereof, was given to Sophia; their similar relationship to nature and death could also explain the matter. Heraclrhus is the enforcer of balance, nature and death, the dust and matter to which all entities return.

The area around Sophia suddenly fills with putrid waters and myriad of insects, thorned roots and poisonous flowers sprout through walls and ground, and gloomy mist fills the air. Those caught in the infested environment will attract numerous diseases and conditions that will severely cripple their combat capabilities.

  • Sophia can spontaneously burst into prayer at any moment, which consists of low hymns and graceful, flowing movements of the hands near the face.
  • She is usually found outside in nature; either hunting or collecting ingredients for her poisons.

Epitaph is an unusual, almost pitiful creature to behold. His figure is sickly- almost skeletal -with pallid skin pulled taut over sinewy muscles and emaciated bones. Scars from lasers, bullets and blades stretch across his disfigured form like a grotesque, intricate design. Epitaph's features are thin and hollow, with dark, deep-set eyes and a seemingly permanent grimace. His hair, turned silver prematurely, is kept so short that it is barely a light dusting on his head.

In regards to dress sense, Epitaph is strictly utilitarian. Black physical training clothes and running shoes are worn when not in uniform, and when on sortie, Epitaph wears a form-fitting black sneaking suit with a matching tactical harness. A relic of his days as a SCION, the pure black of Epitaph's form is broken by the stark white of his skull-shaped armored mask, and the piercing red glow of the mask's optical sensors.

personality.
Epitaph is an emotionally void, socially crippled shell of a human being. Since he could speak he has been conditioned to excise all emotions and empathy, and he has been deprived of any meaningful human relationships. He wanders through life as though traveling through a mist, and people are nothing more than shadows in the fog. While this was sufficient as a SCION, in Epitaph's new lifestyle his lack of social and emotional development leaves him upset and frustrated more often than not, as he grapples with feelings that he does not understand. While his training at Fort Lullin went a fair ways at providing him with the basic social skills that he lacked, he is still incredibly inept at human interaction. Bereft of understanding most gain in their developmental years, Epitaph meets complex concepts such as love and humor with a mix of curiosity and trepidation, and when sufficiently perplexed sometimes reverts to hostility.

biography/background.
Unknown but to few, SOLDIER was not the only program created by Dalmastice to produce elite soldiers, and strike fear into the hearts of their enemies. Concurrent with the first generation of the SOLDIER program was its rival, known as SCION. Rather than utilizing gene therapy, SCION focused on strict mental and physical conditioning on candidates less than five years old. The end goal of the SCION program was to produce elite operatives capable of infiltrating and dismantling enemy command structures and critical facilities.

SCION drew its candidates from orphans under government custody. Given the relative lack of candidates (most children had already aged out of the window of candidacy), SCION could not afford to be choosy about its selections. As a result of this, as well as the inhuman training regime the candidates were subjected to, the attrition rate for the SCION program was staggering. Out of the first hundred SCION candidates, only thirteen were deemed successes; the rest either died of fatigue or cardiovascular failure, or were crippled physically or mentally. However, these successful candidates were spies and assassins without compare. Utterly loyal to the government, they lived only to search and destroy its enemies, which they did with startling efficiency.

Despite its handful of successes, the lengthy training time and unsustainable rate of attrition deemed SCION a failure in comparison to its rival program, SOLDIER. Dalmastice shut down the SCION program, and with skilled politicking, the commanders of the SOLDIER program were able to acquire their former rival's assets and resources. This included every active SCION agent, one of which being Epitaph LXIX, a seventh-generation SCION with over a hundred sorties over his two years of active service. Brainwashed child-soldiers with no family but the government and no life but warfare, the children of SCION were quickly subjected to the trials of SOLDIER. Be it the benefit of having already survived even harsher training, or sheer luck, Epitaph survived the trials and became a SOLDIER. Whether he was the only former SCION to survive is unknown to him, but he has larger concerns.

Bred for battle and nothing else, Epitaph had a solitary existence as a SCION. To keep them from forming attachments that could compromise mission effectiveness, each SCION lived in utter isolation. They trained, ate and slept alone, and only came into regular contact with other people when assigned orders, infiltrating enemy positions, or in the rare cases of operating with another SCION. In contrast, as a SOLDIER Epitaph is expected to live and work as a team with his fellow operatives; a concept utterly alien to him. Suffice to say, this transition has been difficult for him. Killing another human is a far simpler concept than learning to trust and understand one, and Epitaph is frequently pushed beyond what his meagre capacity for emotion will allow him to withstand. Even so, he solemnly continues to attempt to learn sociality, as he is under orders from his new command to integrate with his new team.

A close-quarters operative, Epitaph's arsenal makes him a nightmare to anyone within his reach. His primary weapon is a power-sabre, a metal blade cloaked in a matter-disrupting energy field. This is supplemented by his scattergun, a close-range, wrist-mounted weapon that fires short blasts of superheated, razor-sharp shrapnel. With this, Epitaph can tear apart enemies at short range, but its wide spread makes it ineffective at longer ranges. The scattergun's secondary attachment is a needle gun, which fires a medium-range dart coated in virulent neurotoxin. Epitaph's speciality weapon is a virus gauntlet; a glove with several long, thin blades extending from the fingers. Each of these blades is actually a syringe connected to a canister of neurotoxin so lethal that infection results in screaming, painful death within seconds. As backups, Epitaph carries a wide range of "shuriken" bladed projectiles, each with a different tactical explosive charge. These include high-explosive for penetrating armor, electromagnetic for disrupting shields and electronics, high-voltage for immobilizing enemy vehicles and armored personnel, and monofilament wire for disrupting infantry formations.

Epitaph is an assassin, first and foremost. His skills are focused on his ability to use stealth and subversion to infiltrate enemy lines and defenses, and then take on multiple armed enemies in close-quarters combat. Once his selected target(s) have been successfully assassinated, he will use his skills in evasion and misdirection to reach his designated extraction point. In less subtle operations, Epitaph can be dropped within the enemy ranks to raise hell and kill as many people as possible to disrupt enemy tactics and provide relief for suppressed personnel.

ability.
By tightening his focus, Epitaph can heighten his perception of time to the point where it seems like everything around him is moving in slow motion. His reflexes, senses and reaction time are all sharpened to superhuman levels, and he can process and evaluate his combat situation at lightning speeds. During his time as a SCION, a similar effect was achieved using combat drugs, and so Epitaph is well-adjusted to analyzing the battlefield and adjusting his tactics on the fly.

Azagorod, She Who Laughs
RED/BLUE ┊ Prophecy & Deception
An enigma, inside a riddle, wrapped in a death threat. Azagorod's corpse was among the most disturbing of the Aeon, partially because of the remarkably humanlike face carved upon her death mask, but mostly because of the propensity for her corpse to make hollow sounds resembling laughter whenever it was moved. A brilliant figure of vermilion and cerulean robes, crowned in golden feathers and adorned with shimmering gems, Azagorod could be considered one of the most beautiful Aeon as well. That is until one looks beneath the many layers of semi-organic decoration covering her body, and finds the withered, ivory body underneath her gilded adornments.

limit/overdrive.
Epitaph's last-ditch power is as strange as the Aeon that granted it. When in lethal danger, Epitaph will gain sight of the threads of fate flowing through reality, and can see the myriad futures spread before him. This power grants him insight of up to five seconds into his future, allowing him to see every possible permutation of destiny following the actions he takes during that time. In addition, anyone in Epitaph's immediate vicinity loses all memory of events that transpire during this time; from their perspective, once his five seconds of precognition are up, time has jumped forward without their realization. The few to witness this power and survive describe it as though Epitaph briefly disappears from reality, only to return with lethal vengeance.

James is a tall, lean man, with all the lithe musculature of a panther. His body is a tapestry of scars that he's gained during his time as a SOLDIER, though his most prominent one happened before his time in the program. A long deep, nasty looking gash that goes across his right eye, and while he has no idea where it came from, every time he sees it brings an unconscious clench to his jaw as a tumult of emotions run through him, bringing with then dark thoughts of death and rage, curses to an unknownshadiw of a past forgotten. His face can be seen as somewhat handsome, though the ashen color of his skin, blood red eyes(mutations caused by the introduction of Aeon cells into his body), and intimidatingly cold demeanor of his presence tend to keep most people from considering him as such.

As far as clothing goes, the closest thing he wears is the under armor for Cerburus, a black, form fitting nano-fiber weave suit that serves as added ballistics protection and shock absorption when worn in conjunction with the outter armor. If that is currently being repaired or cleaned, he tends to wear nothing, not having much care for modesty and only dressing when ordered or told to by a superior, as well as given clothes to do so, as he has none of his own, not really seeing them as needed or comfortable.

personality.
James is a cold and calculating individual, never really showing much in the ways of emotion besides annoyance when dealing with people outside of combat. Despite not knowing anything about his past, he has little to no curiosity in much of anything, never seeing the need to ask questions for anything. Instead, he simply does as he's told by the higher ups, like a loyal dog doing his master's bidding. He has little care for things like tact or morality, and will unflinchingly say whatever he feels needs to be said without filter or restraint. This, mixed with his cold, distant attitude, makes most people think of him as an asshole and thus, they give him a proper distance, which he doesn't mind in the slightest.

However, despite these characteristics, James does have a heart in that chest of his, though it only shows when one of his allies is in danger. Something about the thought of leaving anyone in his fire team behind just fills him with such a sense of dread that he couldn't possibly allow it to happen, and thus, he'll always be the first one to go back to save another teammate, even when jot goes against orders and when it would mean almost certain suicide. While he may not like everyone in his outfit, they are part of his team and he feels obligated to make sure they make it through every fight by completely exterminating any form of danger that comes their way.

This leads to how James behaves in combat, and that James is a completely different animal. Gone is the cold, demeanor of a machine, replaced instead by the mad fervor of a beaten animal, eager to rip apart everything in it's path in a savage frenzy of claws and bloodlust. While he isn't the only one to forgo weapons in favor of using his bare hands, he maybe the only one with such a savage way of doing so, as he doesn't just strike down his enemies with well-placed strikes. He rips them to shreds, his hands just as deadly as any claws as he seeks to mutilate his enemies, a walking twister of destruction, death and savagery. I f his face wasn't hidden underneath his Cerburus armor, one would see the almost maniacally, yet equal broken grin on his face as he goes about his bloody business, laughing like a mad man in the heat of the battle. Not only is his brutal way of fighting effective in a combat sense, but it's also a brilliant tactical maneuver when facing the resistance, as to them, he seem more like a rapid monster then a man, ripping their comrades to pieces with such a passionate rage that it's enough to make even the most battle harden warriors soil themselves in fear. Yet even in the what of battle, his mind is never completely lost to the madness, a small part pot his psyche forming plans and tactics on the fly, calmly and rationally deciding the where to unleash the destructive maelstrom of violence that James has become.

biography/background.
James was once the son of highly regarded scientist turned billionaire CEO, Nathaniel Lockehart. While his family wasn't the happiest, with his father tending to put in long hours, his mother hardly ever focusing on annyone but herself and her needs, and his siblings(of which he had 6) seeming to do all they could to annoy him whenever he was around, it was simple and full of distractive luxuries to take his mind way from his problems. However, such a life, free from the war and suffering of the world below, was not to last.

It began with the cries of the dying, followed soon by the demented laughter of creatures from the pit of hell as waves of monsters suddenly cascaded into the city, ripping to shreds any resistance in their way and soaking the streets with blood and gore. His father, fearing for the life of his family, was quick to collect them all and call for evac, planning to hide away in his tower until the Dalmastice forces came to save him. It was this action that would seal the fate of him and his family. While the defenses seemed enough to hold back the normal monsters, something strange began to happen, as one by one, the defenses were destroyed and the guards hunted down, clearing floor after floor in seconds the cameras were only able to catch the glimpse of a shadow every time it struck. It was only a matter of time before it made it to the top, bursting down the doors with a unholy cohort of demons behind it, hungering for flesh.

But it commanded them to halt with a single hand, this being that was much different from the others, not in looks but in how it moved and acted. It had intelligence, that was plain to see as James looked it straight in it's eyes, which were filled with malice, hatred, and sadistic glee. The monster was inhumanly tall and slender, most of it's frame hidden behind shadows that clung to it like fat, bloated leeches, their tails waving lazily in the air. Walking forward, the creature seemed intent on his father, who was begging and pleading for the monster to spare his life, only to get a sinister grin in return. Th creature made a motion to James' sister, and the monster's converged, her screams of terror and pain soon fading to pitiful sobs, and then, to nothing. The tall one would continue to do this, killing each member of the family in similarly cruel manner, all the while with that same sinister grin plastered across it's face.

Just when it was about to get to him, however, a barrage of bullets shot through the windows, causing it to hiss before it made it's way back into the darkened hallway behind it, the monsters not quick or smart enough to following getting mowed down as SOLDIERs came in from a helicopter outside. Their evac had arrived, but instead of 9 people, only two remained. Of those two, one would end his life, jumping out of the helicopter to the ground below, unable to take the images assaulting his mind. James was thus left alone to relive the horror he had seen, and would be unable to unseen for the rest of his days. But instead of breaking him, it only added fuel to an already blazing fire in the young man's heart. He wanted to find the monster who had done this to his family, who had escaped the SOLDIERs pursuit, and he wanted to pay him back for every horror he put him through. He demanded to be let into the SOLDIER, rage and a thirst for revenge clouding his mind and striking down any source of reason that wasn't in line towards his goals.

He was eventually given the green to enter the program, and after the mandatory training, he was submitted to hell. His body felt like it was being taken apart and put back together again, the paying being so intense he was certain that he'd lose himself, but through it all, he only kept one thing in mind, his one focus through all of it was his need, his desire, for vengeance. So intense were these emotions, made even more so by the cells of the Aeon in inserted into his system, that it nearly drove him in sane, and probably would have if those at Fort Lullin hadn't made the choice to completely wipe his memory of everything before his induction as a SOLDIER. He was made into a true blank slate, having no memories of his past life . . . but that didn't get rid of the emotion. He still hungered for vengeance, and he stilled felt an incomparable rage every time he saw one of the abominations created by Humanity's hubris. He has devoted himself to these wild, primal emotions, not caring if other saw him as more monster than man. Cause to hunt monsters, one must become a monster themselves.

His weapon is a suit of Cerburus Armor, an experimental performance enhancing suit that draws on the power of the Aeon cells in a SOLDIER's body. While wearing this armor, not only is his strength and agility enhanced a by a good amount, but he can harness his corruption into focused shockwaves and blasts, either to increase the impact of his attacks or to fight enemies at a range. He can also get creative with it, blasting himself into the air and using the shockwaves to give himself some added in air mobility as well, making his ability a lot more versatile than normal.

James can generate a form of black energy that takes the form of a living darkness, cloaking him in it's shadows and striking out at any foes that come near. James can harness this energy and push it into his foes, causing them to weaken as the corruption spreads through their bodies.

Arondight is a being that was born from the darkest depths of fear, his form ever shifting according to the greatest fears of those that approach him. But the shadows around him do more than just hide his shape, they seem to be alive and move independently from their hosts, mostly to strike at those that approach carelessly. All it takes it one touch, and you'll become a corpse, the energy of you life feeding into the once great being. The Aeon seems, to all who witness him, to be nothing but a corpse, but depths of the night, many who said they worked on the creature said they'd woken up to find it's form lingering over head. While these were discredited as just nightmares at first, soon, scientist seemed to be disappearing one by one, until the place ended up deserted, those who still remained leaving before they to became one of the taken.

limit/overdrive.
James' overdrive depends on the situation, and he can choose which ever affect at will. Either he focuses on the black energy in his body and greatly increase the degradation effect of his corruption for a limited amount of time, or he can focus on the colorless side of his ability and replicate another elemental power form either a monster or his teammates, temporarily changing his secondary color and also changing the effect of his corruption on a foe(or himself) depending on what is absorbed.

Appearance.
Not one to be seen without a smile, Beatrice posesses a lovely heart-shaped face with a button nose and a set of beautiful almond shaped eyes. Her ash grey eyes, which are by far her most striking feature are clear and sparkling seemingly as though they have a life of its own roving around to suit her innate curiosity. Her thin lips, which perfectly accentuates her small mouth a healthy shade of pink. They rest easily on her face, supple and intuitive, ready to spread into a smile at a moment's notice.

Her ivory complexion is fair, with subtle golden undertones. Her hair is a lovely shade of honey blonde extending down to her shoulders. She usually wears it tied up in a ponytail or worn loose as she feels like it. She stands at 168cm and weighing around 125lbs, her body is lithe and athletic yet still managing to possess a small amount of curves. Apart from the simple black eyeliner and the occasional lip gloss, she does not have a habit of putting on much make-up.

Apparel wise, Beatrice prefers function and ease especially those that aid her in her daily life and routine. She can usually be seen dressed in tank tops and cargo pants, completing the outfit with a pair of combat boots. The colours she favours belongs to the darker spectrum, mostly an assortment of white, greys, greens and browns. These are the casual clothing she sticks to when not in uniform or her combat armour. She does not have any tattoos or any other imprinting on her body.

Personality.
With an equally radiant personality to match her exuberant appearance, Beatrice is an energetic and adventurous individual that is also competitive and passionate for what she loves and believes in. Bold and daring, she is not afraid of trying out new things as well as engaging in high-octane activities with an equally high adrenaline level. Naturally curious and inquisitive, Beatrice is always looking forward to exploring and discovering new things worthy of note. She also always seeks to strive for her best, improving what she already knows. Witty and sharp-tongued, she can quite the cynic at times.

Warm and friendly, Beatrice is very much a people person and generally gets along well with people due to her pleasant disposition. Talkative and equipped with a great sense of humour, she is also rather playful and a fond lover of jokes, tending to laugh at most of them, especially the ones cracked by her friends. Headstrong and determined, once she sets her mind on something, she will do her best to achieve or complete it. She sticks to the unwritten rules that she sets for herself and abides by them at all times. Prone to be highly emotional, her feelings tend to overpower her at times, which may impair and cloud her judgement. Her bluntness and cynicism can sometimes work against her benefit, but once you have gained her hardearned trust and confidence, she is highly loyal and is definitely someone you want watching your back.

Background.
Beatrice was born to Jean-Paul and Marie Delacour in Dalmasca, the capital city and shining jewel of Galbadia. They were both engineers working in the civil and private sector. Growing up under their guidance and tutelage, the young Beatrice began to follow in their footsteps, learning the arts of technology and engineering, putting her knowledge and information to good use.

Equipped with plenty of practical knowledge and theoretical information, she studied countless tomes aside from conducting scientific and engineering experiments of her own. Her hard work would not go unrewarded and soon she gained a government scholarship to study in one of the prestigious academies in the Capital. She chose to major in Combat & Mechanical Engineering, while at the same time opting for a side in Technological Applications. Apart from her academics, Beatrice also made it a point to keep her fitness in good condition by going on regular running exercises.

Graduating with flying colours, she decided to embark on a different route from her parents, selecting the military path instead. The fact that she had done remarkably well in her studies had not gone unnoticed by the government and the people in charge of SOLDIER. Going through the normal routine and service in the military, she was eventually ear-marked for entry into the SOLDIER program when those in-charge felt that she was ready. Her parents had always been against her joining the program for they, like everyone else has only heard the circulating rumours of the infamous reputation of those from SOLDIER.

With her mind set on joining regardless of her parent's approval, she gave it one last attempt trying to persuade her parents. The attempt was equally unsuccessful, and so she prepared herself for the program. Running away from home in the dead of night while her parents were fast asleep one night, leaving only a farewell note to them, she left for what may seem like for good. In the program, Beatrice continued to excel, providing her experience and expertise wherever needed in and out of the field.

Weapon.

A close combat specialist, Beatrice is extremely proficient in the use of a quarterstaff. It is a close combat weapon which extends her effective range considerably and therefore increases the momentum of her blow when the weapon is swung. Range and force of impact make it an effective weapon against armoured enemies and taller enemies.

The shaft of her staff is made out of a oak, a hard-wood capable of taking a great deal of punishment. The ends of the staff have been reinforced with beefy Titanium alloy knobs both ends, somewhat resembling the head of a mace with protruding sharp flanges. It can be used to deflect hostile attacks, while the thickened ends allows for a lightweight and extremely durable metal to mete out bone-crushing and skull-cracking blows. Although the Repentance cannot penetrate any armour (because it has no blade), the immense power generated while thrusting the long shaft in its momentum can deliver severe injuries and is capable of overwhelming any opponent with its blunt damage and speed. The knobs at the ends are even sharpened with razor-sharp edges which can inflict a series of piercing or stabbing injuries.

Staff fighting techniques involve slashing, swinging and stabbing, as well as including a wide variety of blocks, strikes, sweeps, and entrapments. The weapon's techniques require as much great skill as swinging an axe or a sword, and the staff may even be used to sweep sand into an attacker’s eyes. As a master of her weapon, Beatrice handles the Repentance almost as an extension of her limbs. It also has some leather straps attached to provide additional aid and comfort while swinging it in combat.

Formed out of humongous blocks and boulders of earth, stone and other foreign materials, the aeon that is Gorgorath poses an impressive sight, its monstrous form blotting out the sun of whoever it faces. Green pulsing veins of energy can be seen throughout its rocky body, appearing as though cracks in the rock bodies itself. Despite its lumbering gigantic form, it is a creature full of life and strength who is not above inducing manipulation to get its victim to does what it wants or desires.

When he moves, it is as though the earth below quakes, but the cracks and damages soon heal back up when it comes into further contact with the golem's rocky feet. Its strength is enormous as one can imagine with hands the size of the boulders making it just as effective a destruction machine as it is regenerative. Protective of those it knows and is close with, it can be a loyal companion for those it trusts.

Limit/overdrive.

Beatrice limit break is one mostly only used in true desperation. She will be able to cause minor avalanches, earthquakes, and mudslides in the surrounding area of her choice, thereby hoping to eliminate hostile lifeforms in the affected areas.

I'm not good at describing a person first hand, so here's a book-like extract:
As the man stepped forward, one could easily tell he was once a respectable, clean-cut man - he had a chiselled face, and smooth skin, only compromised by a rigid scar along his right cheek, and the faint remnants of a glasgow smile, about a centimetre in length. His light brown hair - highlighted by dark brown stripes down the side - was lazily spiked up, almost as if he'd rolled out of bed and weakly swatted at his head, with the tiniest bit of gel. Though, by the looks of him, it was probably the case - his once sparkling emerald eyes were now a faded, mossy green, and looked empty inside. There was the scruffy stubble of a budding beard resting on a strong, defined jaw. It wasn't as if it were completely neglected and ignored these days, but one could tell that it wasn't shaved regularly.

The clothes he were wearing had quite the same persona about them - the man wore a dark red oxford shirt, the sleeves lazily rolled up and the entire thing unbuttoned, revealing the plain black crew neck t-shirt underneath. The shirt gently rippled in the soft breeze, lapping against the ripped, faded blue jeans that the man wore. Poking out of the right pocket was a black handle of some sorts, worn and scuffed, with a dark red stain at the very bottom of it, where it appeared someone had wrapped leather around the grip, as if it had broken, or the sorts. Nonetheless, it looked like a sturdy utility, and had no doubt served its purpose for a long time, with satisfactory results.

personality.
John is what many would call a tortured man. With the struggle of war straining on him, and knowing what SOLDIER made him become, he never manages to see the good things in life. He's pessimistic and reckless, and often runs away from things without looking back. Many times he's just wanted to do the same to life. However, John also has a great rage burning a hole in him, like a beast from hell trying to claw its way out. This is a great burden he's carried with him for most of his life, and he struggles to suppress it sometimes. It's made worse by the constant pressure raining down on him, and most people don't bother to try and befriend him.

biography/background.
John Patrick Olsen was born a regular child, in a regular place, with a regular childhood. His parents weren't exactly wealthy, but they had good paying jobs and weren't homeless, so it was a plus for John. He made a lot of good friends in school, and a few childhood crushes became girlfriends that would come and go as the years went by. John had good grades in school, though never managed to get any kind of degree. His sights were set on the military's work, and they didn't have GSCEs for that. So instead of going to college or university, or taking part in more things that would boost his academic work, he joined the army recruits.

A lot of the people in the recruits joined for the girls, some for their families, even others for revenge. But John only wanted one thing. To help people to the best of his abilites. Sure, bandages could help wounds, but John could stop them from being made in the first place. Time could heal broken hearts, but John could keep them intact. And, heck, builders could rebuild cities - but John could stop them from being destroyed. This was the best way to go as he saw it, but soon his mother died of illness, and John decided to call it quits.

And that was it for a while, until one dreary night, he discovered SOLDIER. They allowed him to join, but didn't tell him about the torturous experiments he would undergo. And so, they trained him up in Fort Lullin, before the time was right. Then, they fused him with his aeon, the screams so loud they had to reinforce the glass. And now, here he is - a completely different man, with barely any memory of who he used to be. All he knows is that he's a monster. And all he wanted to do was help people.

Not particularly a weapon, but John has made good use of this suit. It stores all of the weapons he owns (in special folding discs) and allows him to utulize his aeon easier. It can also convert into a lighter armour for ease of movement and speedier travel.

ripper.&
The primary (and only) weapon of John's, Ripper is a formiddable weapon. It is a foldable scythe, with a curved blade at one end, and a standard spear-like tip at the other. Both blades are fashioned from a titanium-gold alloy. The shaft is created out of a durable metal lined with obsidian, and has two hardened black leather straps situated on it. There is also an obsidian clamp that attaches the top blade to the shaft, allowing him to remove it. Finally, just below it, there is a cage housing a diamond-like crystal. This is what it folds into when John is done with it.

John can absorb any sort of darkness or shadow in his range of vision and turn it into an extra boost of strength or tentacle-like streams of darkness that can pull objects towards him and vice versa.

zachriel; the fallen angel.&
black.death, decay, ambition.
Known mostly as just "the fallen angel", Zachriel is a humanoid aeon that despite what it has to do, is constantly tortured and haunted by the sins of its past, and the chaos it ensues upon itself and the world. Legend has is that Zachriel was once, in fact, human, and when he died he became the grandest of angels. But the ever-growing temptation of the Devil overcame him, and he was condemned by the Lord and banished from Heaven, doomed to forever burn in Hell. It is unknown whether this aeon is, possibly, Zachriel himself, or just based on the legend. But, whether it is or not, this aeon eats away at the soul of those it wishes, and sometimes even its host.

John's eyes turn completely black and the entire area darkens, the shadows creeping along the floors to all opponents and slowly wrapping themselves around them, putting them in complete agony. It slowly kills them from the inside, with tumours embedding themselves in the vital organs, before ripping them apart and sucking out their soul. All of the dead are doomed to forever burn in the depths of Hell.

Appearance
Through no wasted energy of her own, Sable has grown into what some would describe as a physique befitting that of a model. Elongated arms and legs extend from a slender torso and longish neck that only serve to define the strong jawline and high cheekbone structure that have earned her ire. In an effort to hide these not so proportional appendages, intricate, and in some cases elegant, tattoos adorn most open spaces of skin and paint a picture of a woman whom expresses her individuality outwardly. Attire is also an important part of this visage with heavy use of dark colored clothing--which is not always limited to black in a grand subversion of the stereotype--that is thin in material and semi-tight to full on second skin in appearance. Slim, high boots and plain sneakers replace heels and dress shoes to assert that comfort most certainly comes first and jewelry is not favored in preference so Sable does not wear any type of external trinkets if she can help it.

The only aspect of her physical person that Sable really takes seriously is her hair. Having grown it to a long and luxurious state, she tends to surprise others in the amount of care it receives versus the personality that some would find contradictory to such actions. Originally a dark brown color, black hair dye was applied and mixes with the extremely dark browns to give the appearance of a solid black hue, but closer inspection reveals the truth along with bright sunlight. A variety of hairstyles are worn on any given day and some even changed within the day depending on mood, attitude, or a number of variable factors. Typically however, Sable will wear her in a pony tail during missions and vigorous activities.

Personality
Despite previous efforts tried in vain, Sable is unable to hide her somewhat abrasive persona. Describing the only child as straightforward and honest is doing a disservice to the well developed attitudes and temperament of a person who literally has no real idea what the term "tactful" means. Even in the face of SOLDIER training which indoctrinates the teachings of following authority to the letter, she cannot help herself around her fellow comrades. Believing that the absolute and brutal truth is the only way for others to truly understand, Sable has conditioned her responses and dialogue to match her inner feelings. Why hide how you really feel about a subject when you can just plainly say it?

Needless to say, this has not garnered many friends, but surprisingly there are dashes of intelligence lurking among the sharp dialogue. Sable has the odd habit of speaking in what some would describe as an eloquent manner laced with malicious intent. It's an interesting combination when one assumes that an abrasive person merely uses curses to fill their vocabulary, but for Sable it is more of a logical thrashing than a profanity laden one. She is clearly educated enough to speak in a professional manner with those in higher power than herself, but she is also articulate enough to construct a blunt reply or comment composed of acidic syntax. It's this saving grace--if one could even define that as such a thing--that allows her to avoid completely alienating anyone who decides to come into contact with her.

In reference to character traits, Sable is a bit of a thrill seeker. One of the qualities which made her an excellent candidate for SOLDIER is her risk-taking nature. She thrives off of the adrenaline rush of dangerous situations and stunts that no one else would dare try. There is always something new to be discovered in the world and Sable enjoys the feeling of defying overwhelming odds to find those things. The smaller the chance of pulling off something successfully, the more excited the tattooed woman becomes within. There are even points where a wry smirk will escape from her expression because she just can't hold in her anticipation. Some have accused her of not being afraid or death or even wanting it, but for Sable it's a simple explanation; she just can't be bothered to care enough about the risks of failing to turn on her back on the risks of success.

Biography/Background
Sable Arlene Maxwell was born to a wealthy family in the capital city of Faelan on the northern continent of Archadia. Leading successful careers in medicine, Sable's parents amassed a fortune that was enough to give them the attention of media outlets and average citizens alike. Darren Maxwell was a man who pursued advancements in medical science as part of a team put together to do exactly that. They were tasked with finding cures for the incurable and new techniques which would allow current medical knowledge to expand exponentially though this mandate never extended towards anything to do with the Aeon projects. Varrina Maxwell, Darren's wife, had become one of the youngest doctors to reach the position in Faelan, though she too never knew about or worked on the Aeon projects. Together, the duo became a respected figure in the world of health, medicine, and wellness, but these accomplishments did not come without cost. Due to the fact that both individuals led lives like this, their schedules meant they saw each other very rarely and were at home with their only daughter even less.

Despite the absence of her parents, Sable made life exciting for herself. She regularly left the care of her various nannies to explore the district she lived in within Faelan. Nothing was off limits, from rooftops to alleyways to even the interior of other people's homes if they were foolish enough to leave an unlocked or open window in the presence of a little girl who knew no boundaries. Daredevil activities and city exploration dominated her early childhood until the fateful days when the curious girl was caught and sentenced to a life behind the walls of what others would consider a palace. Instead of leaving her there to rot, Sable's parents resolved to involve her in what they thought would be more productive activities. That and once they knew what their daughter had been up to, they were afraid that any number of bad situations could spring up should the daughter of a wealthy family be kidnapped or worse. They hired a man named Arthur Mason to keep their daughter occupied by training her in martial arts.

At first, the studies didn't take. Even as Sable grew older and continued in her forced lessons, she began to tattoo her body in a show of defiance and her attitude grew increasingly colder. In her mind, anything that could shame the pristine appearance of two successful doctors was good enough for revenge--revenge not only for her punishment, but for the seclusion and loneliness they had forced upon her in childhood. However, as she grew closer to Arthur and began seriously taking his lessons to heart, she found solace and comfort in the man and he become her confidant and friend. The relationship extended passed the combat lessons and the two began to often take trips throughout the city, hanging out and generally having fun. Though romance never became an option, Sable genuinely began to look up to Arthur as sort of a surrogate parent. He not only made sure the young woman could protect herself, he also showed her what it meant to grow up and become a functioning adult. That's why it was especially hard when the monster attacks hit.

Sable had just recently graduated from university--of which Arthur had convinced her to pursue--when she got the news. Monsters that had appeared from seemingly nowhere had caused a swath of destruction everywhere, but it was the fact that they had demolished the Maxwell residence that got to Sable. Arthur had been a live-in instructor ever since he was hired and he, along with all the other house employment, had been slaughtered in the attacks. The fate of Sable's parents was unknown, but she didn't care about them. On that day, on that day alone, she cried for Arthur. It was an intense kind of sadness that she'd only felt once in her life and it would be the last time she felt that kind of way. It wasn't long after that she heard about a certain military enrollment in the capital city of Dalmasca. Despite how far away the location was, Sable used the funds she'd had set up for her and left Faelan for good.

She was going to be SOLDIER. It didn't matter what that term actually meant, all she knew was that it meant she'd a chance to get back at the things that took the only thing she cared about in this life. That was good enough for her.

Weapon{s}
Sabre Edge
During her training, Sable's mentor, Arthur, was fond of many different weapons, but the sword was his weapon of choice. Because that's what her teacher and friend favored, Sable also uses one as well, though with some modifications. Sable's blade is a single-edged straight blade which extends roughly 40 inches in length while remaining thin. The guard and hilt are both black in color, but the guard is a small circular apparatus attached to a hilt composed of a specially made material that allows for better grip. It also houses circuitry and a hidden button that is flush with the hilt itself. When this button is depressed, raw energy is released from the guard and focused over the edge of the blade. This results in a violet hue across the blade edge when active. This "Sabre Edge" as she calls it gives the sword the ability to cut through just about any solid compound provided some stronger compounds need appropriate force behind the blade before it'll cut through. The energy comes from the guard which is actually a small reactor core of sorts that runs on a battery installed in the hilt. When the battery runs out, the sword can be used as normal, but the Sabre Edge needs to recharge before it will become usable again. It recharges itself internally and gives Sable a notification when it's ready.

In addition to the Sabre Edge, Sable has also customized the look of her ravager armor mostly because the SOLDIER program gave her the option the do so. It does not provide any advantages over regular ravager armor, but Sable appreciates the uniqueness all the same.

Sable possesses the ability to "become" her enemy by taking on their attributes. When facing multiple enemies, one must be mentally chosen in order for the ability to activate. This enables her and her enemy to enter a level playing field with one another. The trick is, she is not able to keep these attributes permanently and retains no memories of temporarily learned abilities either.

Ariella takes the form an ethereal, female being with feminine curves and body under a blindfolded face surrounded by jet black hair. She is scantily clad, but her skin decays and appears cracked and brittle while an inconceivable smirk composed of black lipstick remains her constant expression. One black, feathered wing extends from the left half of her back and sometimes coyly covers the exposed torso and thighs. Her motivations and intentions are unknown, but scientists came to know her through her now signature giggle. She never outright laughs, only giggles.

Limit/Overdrive
We Are All The Same
With a plunge through the heart, Sable unleashes her bottled up feelings, anguish, and emotions and, combined with the power of her Aeon, erupts a field of transparent energies across the area in a radius. Any sentient being engulfed in this field is reverted to a mortal status, that is to say, any supernatural affinities they had before are temporarily sealed away. This effectively makes everyone, Sable included, equal to the power of a normal human being with no special abilities whatsoever. It also has the added effect of healing Sable as it essentially kills and resurrects the woman.

Stocky and bull like, Cas is well muscled with a thick build. He keeps his hair in a military style buzz cut, but lets his beard grow thick and full along his wide, square jawline. His thick eyebrows seem to be perpetually locked into a faint frown, though his soft, deep set eyes are much gentler. Usually brown in colour, his eyes occasionally glow a brilliant fiery orange when Cas is deeply in tune with his Aeon. His nose is thickened and slightly bent, the result of numerous breaks over the years.


personality.
Stoic would be a word that comes to mind when describing Cas. He’s not exactly quiet; he doesn’t hesitate to offer his opinion or say what’s on his mind, but he does choose his moments carefully. Disciplined would be another word, perhaps the defining word. From his morning routine to his meals to his combat stance, Cas is maintains perfect control over himself and his body. His room and uniform are consistently immaculate; his beard perfectly trimmed; his weight precisely 180lbs.

This discipline acts as a dam holding back a tidal wave of pure rage. In his former life as a professional fighter, Cas never had to amp himself up for a fight; he simply had to let go. In the heat of battle especially, Cas can become an unstoppable juggernaut of destructive fury.

It’s not all bad news though. Cas full to bursting with empathy for others, and--though he doesn’t like to publicise this--he is the perfect shoulder to cry on. Cas sees this aspect of himself as a weakness, and only reveals it to close friends. To the rest of the world, he tries to present a toughened image.


biography/background.
Born to a prestigious military family, Cas had nothing short of a happy childhood, which abruptly ended when his father disappeared after Cas’ eighth birthday. It wasn’t long before the news came that his father had not simply disappeared, but defected to SeeR, casting a shadow of suspicion over Cas and his family that would never go away.

As he grew up, his father remained a sore point for Cas. Whispers followed him through school, and he started getting into frequent fights, usually after one too many kid called him “traitor”. Desperate to find an outlet for her son’s anger, Cas’ mother signed him up for martial arts classes. He struggled to find a discipline that suited him at first, but finally found a good fit in Geschwindigkeits Schub, a style that emphasized powerful grapples and heavy strikes. Cas excelled at the discipline, and began to play strike ball, an extremely popular and extremely brutal sport that involved two teams of three fighting each other while simultaneously trying to score points by throwing a ball into one of three goals in a hexagon shaped ring.

By 16, Cas had devoted almost his entire life to strike ball. He got into university on scholarship, and was drafted into a professional league after graduating at 21. However, the shadow of his father’s betrayal still hung over Cas, complicated further by a deeply secret aspect of his personal life that was...incongruous with the macho image of strike ball. The whispers that had plagued him through school followed him into the league, and one day Cas lost control and beat a teammate to the brink of death after a game. Cas was promptly banned from the sport, and turned to the military out of desperation, but his family legacy meant there was no place for him amongst the officers or even the rank and file men. His last hope was SOLDIER, a program known to take almost anyone.

A long, twin pronged lance made of carbon nano-infused steel, Cas’ lance is incredibly resilient and almost light enough to be used by a normal person. Cas is highly skilled with the weapon and can use it in a variety of situations; at long range, his superhuman strength lets him throw the lance with tremendous force. At closer ranges, he can skillfully use it to keep melee assailants from getting too close. Should they manage to press in to close quarters, Cas can use the lance as a quarterstaff.

appearance.
Walter King is /stacked/ with muscle after another, his entire body copulent with mass that conforms into a heavy, toned assembly between body parts that are twinged with the kind of fit decor that you'd find in any man who enjoys an active workout. Pleasantries to Walter King are but a simplification of the expression that he wields at all time -- as though his entire leveled jawline is ripped to a point where gravity drags it down into a consistent sulk. He is never a public possessor of a smile, which adds a hint of mystery and an atramentous conundrum, whereas being found with edged lips means that you are one to part them continuously. Walter King is thus deemed silent by his own appearance, an attire that befits a gentleman who still puts his natural-born, rather subconsciously composed sophistication to good use. A glistening complexion of handsome dark-brown with a graceful addition of prominent dingy eye, overcast with an effulgent, august combination of hazel and blue.

Walter King bears the traits of majesty, a novelty of garments that are frequently changed to fit his refined getup, which do not reflect his atrocious heavy armor that clads him when necessary. Aside from such -- words best left for later --, Walter is fashionably equipped, his entire wardrobe consisting of no more than polished ties, caravats, brown shirts, lined vests of lurid fawn and suits that match his daily wear. His hair is routinely combed backwards, a bowl cut that runs down to his cheeks and conceives a suave, premature beard. Left to it's shadowy color that symbolizes an addition of perplexity to Walter's personality, he prefers to keep his beard at it's lowest, and engages in the timely shave to keep it stylish and nifty. Whilst Walter's frame is proudly stout, his height is easily a mitigation to his sturdy and vigorous appearance. A 5'9 height does not carry him to the necessity of 'intimidation', and while it may still be a prominence to those that have not experienced it yet, that height is a dainty tenderness to Walter's body, his dismaying physique, and his grim eyes.

To go into advance on his physicality would detail his every complexity, from the depths of his nose to the width of his lips, which would both be admirably perfected to an undeniable point. His lips are short of cherry red, his eyes are a pair of proportional ovals, his ears are uniformly pointy and his nose is sticking out in a manner so unseemly. Despite these slight imperfections that create a vague, handsome man; with model-like changes in certain areas that bequeath him with stunning beauty. It is no exaggeration when others point out his flamboyant features, presentable even at an equitable cost of his humble, soft-spoken self.

personality.
First and foremost, Walter King is a methodical gentleman, with reliable finesse that puts him at a standard beyond agreeable measure. His senses belong to the rightest doubt, his every reason led to the alpine of self-esteem, his every confidence an artistic piece of his elegance and apparent wisdom. Despite this, Walter King is a mislead chaperone to the wrong inside of him, a helpless lightweight who does not know what to do for his own self. Even a gentleman can fall short in departments that he cannot recover -- somethings that simply can't change. A simpleton who walks with a straightened back and a flagrant poise does not necessarily classify him as the bearer of courage, but in Walter's case he is specialty. He is a seeker of this emotion, the emotion that spurs the courage and bravery in him, but that sort of physical and mental empathy is a heavy concoction of his own psychological troubles, the inability to bring use.

Walter's contentions are sporadic, a guileless lack of strength. He fears what he can in fact do, and that is to protect. This created, or rather, recreated a sense of animosity in him, which brewed initially from the melancholy of irrationality and pressure. Walter is -easily- breakable, the most sensitive of men but to a certain point. Continual exposure to pressure and agony can only salvage his subliminal angst, which would then be an extension to anger, fear and an eventual depression into the depths of self-realization. That is a journey that threatens his sanity, with blatant transparency in his personality that is a grandly blaring issue, Walter has an uncontrollable urge to always close his eyes and rethink his choices, words and even memories. Try to help him reinstate his personal safety that relates to his cognitive work. In basic terms, Walter's sensitivity can be nullified if he is given time to actually remember the desire for happiness. To place it back where it belonged. That is Walter's truest self, and he will not sensibly argue that point.

That is why Walter cannot be thrown straight into a mission that can deter his psychological work. With that much strain, he'd be threatend with death, not by the enemy's hands, but by his. He is unable to live with those that can harm him, frightened to a measure so unusual that some would mistake him for antisocial. But it would be otherwise -- as Walter's own silence is correlated to his inability to handle those that will to put him down no matter what. Despite these outspoken problems, Walter is still a source of excitement for many that meet him, and he will hold himself sturdy in the face of conversation. Shy he is not, but he is a man that cannot bear too many secrets, lies, and deception.

biography.
Walter King, son to [ King ] and his own personal [ Queen ]. There is mystifying glamour gilded with a luxuriant splendor. It is this household which houses the rituals of birth which bear the name King. They are irrelevant. Walter King is a recipient of a different story, one of no misguided lines of gold, silver and bronze. Riches cannot compensate, not for him. Walter King is one with his wife -- the past and present are nigh unquestionable. There is a delicate love. Breakable so easily but corrigible with a humble exchange of words. There are arguments. There are vases that mount the walls. Water, oil, sometimes even blood. These are the discourteous ornaments of Walter King's home. Not his parents -- no, those were a disciplined couple. This is [ Walter's ] home. His abode. And in it, lies a woman of deceit. Ugly. Ugly ugly ugly. To him, to dub her the 'reincarnation of the devil' would be a mere, fadeaway component to her happiness. There is disgust and sin, but Walter King wishes to get rid of it all.

It was the wrongest marriage of two that are inseparable. They had a certain bonding, flourishing as finely as the flowers in a aureate garden. The grace of this love had been dainty, but Walter King was to her an unbearable abomination. He was a man, but acceptance was not in his wisdom. He was a warrior, but honor was not in his weapon. Walter King did not fight for love, but he fought for her. And the distinction between the two created a polarity that was sundered purely by the heartless reciprocal of two personalities. One was ruthless, the other compromised. Walter King came first. She did not express gratitude, she did not say 'yes'. But he deserved it. He didn't provide for her. He was stupid. Erratic. That's why she raised her arm. That's why her fingers hugged the hilt of a collapsible knife. That's why she looked at hsis eyes and saw pain. That's why she cried. And she kept crying. Walter King put her to rest. He grasped the knife, held her by the neck.

This was a lack of mercy never before seen. She was stabbed. Not in the stomach, not in the neck, but in abominable way. The plunge tore at her insides. Her heart. Obnoxiously, he pulled it out. His eyes were vicious. Shit shit shit. He was -crying- too. He did not hug, but he pushed her away. There hadn't been any love here. The spark deteriorated. Seized, Walter King was taken to the nearest correctional facility. Poor, poor Walter King. He was asleep, another man atop him. The bunk was creaky. Ugly, just like her. That's why he couldn't sleep. He always woke up. He always started screaming. He was loud. He was crying, again, again, again. They took him out. Away. Another one.

It repeated. That's why they found no use to him. Investigation had no point. He couldn't be fixed. A transfer was due. The SOLDIER program. That's the only thing he can remember. Injections, harmful words, pills. Physical pain. Mental pain. A confliction of both created a set of memories astray from him. Things he could not recapture. Images forever gone. That's why, when he saw her lips over and over again, he just screamed. [ Please, d i e. ]

He cares. He really does, but he wants her so dead. Over and over. Here, in hell, in heaven, in the afterlife, in reincarnation. That person deserves death, but he does too. They are a pair that is destined to be inseparable. He was not asking HER to die.

He was asking himself to die.

Strength lies in two. Walter King is contracted to the [ Shield of Blue Waking Eyes ], an aegis with crystal clarity in the center, a grid of blue that hues in and out of fading color when hit. It is a cybernetic shield, designed to withhold the strain of the battlefields. The shield is colored blue at it's midst, but the edges are a humid copper, a shy beige with an underlying cast of black. With height and mass, the Shield is created to always stay taller than Walter King, for him to efficiently hide underneath. It is extremely potent in strength, able to deny most magic and abilities, and even recover as quick. The Shield holds no weight on the user -- and especially a possessor of the Heavy Armor, a Sentinel such as him -- and is easily controllable in one's hold, with a granted stamp of the mightiest saying, 'Defense is the best offense.', which is artistically drafted somewhere along the perimeters of the Shield.

ability.
Walter swings his Shield at the ground, and decrees with it that things rise. Or fall. With the [ Shield of Waking Blue Eyes ], Walter is able to control the flow of 'gravity', thus rendering it weightless or heavy upon a certain zone with pure will. This ability will last a minutes only, and the effects are not too extreme, although he can alter the flow of attacks too, as for example if flames dare reach him, then he could change the gravity to become light to a point where the flames would disperse. The lightest he could change the zone's gravity is 1.722, which is only slightly heavier than the Moon's gravity, and the heaviest he could change it is to 71 kilograms of mass that adds into a person's weight. While the compression sounds quite normal, an abrupt transition in one's weight could have independent effects on each and every individual. Because none, regardless of how strong, could get instantly used to walking through air and whatnot.

Vasiliás is a humanoid creature, blessed with grace and beauty. A fragrant black hides it's misfortunate imperfections, and it's strands of ivory miasma hail from it's long, silky dress. There is no throne for a King with unrequited love, but the crown wields it for eternity and more. It was enigmatic, cursed with a dark hue that pursued it's every movement, and the sound of hushed whispers whenever it's legs moved. That was Vasiliás, with all of it's elegance and royalty.

limit/overdrive.
Fort Lullin: Gate is Walter's limit. And it is shamelessly named after the birthplace of his power. Walter smashes his shield into the ground, and an entire wall which is correlated to the 'kinetic' aspect of his Aeon is made, which is rumored to be the Wall That Protected the King of Harvest. It's a hulking wall that is quite literally unbreakable for a good duration, but it's concoction comes at the cost of Walter's beloved weapon. This Wall is extremely strong, able to withstand GREAT punishment before yielding. It is a command for protection. The Wall is more akin to a dome than anything, as it encircles anyone within it from ANY attacks. Sides that cannot be reached are the north and south, which are quite literally in complete blockage by an invisible force of constantly moving energy. This barrier-like structure is just as strong as the Fort, and even stronger at times.

It is the utmost defense.

♠ appearance.
Luc is a tall, imposing man. His back and shoulders form a deep “V” to his cut waist, and slabs of muscle are layered atop his otherwise athletic frame. His hands and forearms are wide and broad, and he effects the comparison to a stately tree that has had to withstand its share of gale-force wind. Yet, in spite of his rather beastlike build, his demeanor is softened with a handsome face, cool blue eyes, and an almost ever-present smile.

Dark, well-kempt hair remains thick atop his head. Often as not, a comma curls across his left eyebrow, and he is easily spied absentmindedly blowing it from his gaze. When on his own time, Luc is usually seen wearing comfortably ragged t-shirts and shorts. He prefers bare feet to any shoe wear, though when he must cover his soles with something, well-worn leather sandals are his preference.

♠ personality.
Luc can best be described as a pleasant soul. He is quick to kindness, and even quicker to optimism. There is a silver lining to ever situation in his mind. Though, he is prudent enough to know that such feelings should not be voiced in every instance, lest he be perceived as foolish or insensitive to those around him. When there is light to be brought to gloom, however, Luc is often the first to shine it upon his friends.

Humor is not his first instinct, at least not humor brought about from his own lips. Luc is quick to mirth, however, especially when he perceives that it will brighten the mood of another. This trait often lends itself to being a deep listener, and a contemplator. There is little he prides himself in more than his ability to become a confidant for even the barest of strangers. To his detriment at times, Luc is quick to trust and keep faith. When looked at in a negative vantage, his personality could be viewed as almost childishly determined to see the good in the world.

He is equally comfortable both alone, and in the company of others. Luc does not always actively seek companionship, though he certainly does not spurn it. Again, his desire to interact with his peers is often a product of his perceived ability to help or aid another in some way. When in combat, this desire to better or “save” others translates instantly into fervent protectiveness. Luc’s general state is one of calm and happiness, but in the throes of battle his focus shifts to a mentality of “Peace and longevity through superior violence.”

♠ biography/background.
Fate was kind to Luc Watkins. Born into an upper-middle class family as an only child, Luc had the blessings of such a beginning showered upon him from his first breath. His lot in life could have easily steered his demeanor to one of selfishness, greed, and entitlement. Yet, he was also fortunate to have a family that forged into him a kind heart, a selfless drive, and a protective nature.

From his youth, Luc was active both physically and mentally, striving to make his parents proud of their only progeny. He succeeded in academia, athletics, and in work. Every possible thing in Luc’s life seemed to be steering him to a life of prosperity and greatness. It was the life his parents had intended for him to have—the greatest gift they thought they could offer. This gift, while valued deeply by Luc, quickly lost its luster however. Monotony came in the form of his perfect, cookie-cutter life, until Luc found himself feeling an almost physical void well within him every morning when he awoke. The greatness defined by his parents had not become the same greatness for which he truly yearned.

It was this void that spurned Luc’s decision to drastically alter the course of his destiny. He quit his well-paying job, left his pretty girlfriend, sold most of his belongings, and came to the recruitment centers of SOLDIER bent on finding a place in the world of his own construction. Given his background, intelligence, and physical prowess, SOLDIER selected him for duty almost immediately.

Luc goes into combat with a large rectangular shield, as well as a heavy warhammer. The shield is bolted mechanically to the forearm of his left gauntlet, and is detachable and plantible into most common earthen surfaces. This allows Luc to supply cover for himself or others, while also freeing up his body for swifter movement and deadlier hammer strikes. Given his loadout, Luc’s movements are slower and more deliberate than most of his compatriots’. ARMOR

Luc is able to control the movement of his shield via telekinesis. He can move it to defend an individual or object, as well as utilize it as a minor offensive weapon.

Arcteryah
White + GreenProtective, Fortifying
Arcteryah is an Aeon best described as an alabaster anvil, and the hulking avatar of hope. His being is one of stony fortitude, protective zeal, belied with an organic twist of tree-like roots that encompass much of his form. White across his whole body, Arcteryah embodies an almost singular message and mission; protect and defend those worthy of life, love, and happiness.

♠ limit/overdrive.
Dauntless Reprieve
An array of super-hard obelisks of white stone erupt from the earth. This eruption can come to encircle a friend, for the means of soaking up massive amounts of abuse in lieu of the intended target. Or, it can be utilized to engulf an enemy, pulverizing the being between the sliding spires of alabaster rock.
