Personality: Natty has an odd way of thinking or, as her mother use to tell her, she thought the longest way to get through a problem first. Sheâs always been one to speak her mind and almost has absolutely no manners when it comes to conversation. There is no subject which she is afraid of talking about even if it applies to the hatred of a King or Lord in front of a couple of guards. Nattyâs always been one to avoid talking about herself though, nobody has quite figured out why. Occasionally she will give a sort of half truth about why she doesnât talk about herself by mentioning the tattoo she has her back. A âgiftâ from her mother she calls it.
Despite how willing Natty is to talk to others, she is nowhere near willing to trust them on the spot. In fact, she is wary of trusting anybody who trusts her just after meeting her. Sheâs always believed that one can only know how a person is like after knowing them for a few days or drinking with them if you donât have the time for that. Perhaps the most obvious aspect of Nattyâs personality is the fact that she questions how almost everything works and wonders why it canât work another way. Sheâs always hated not knowing how something works but will often settle for knowing why it works since it would be too much for her to try and know everything about everything. Afterall, even a mage has her limits
Habits: Smoking, only casually though, and will almost always play around with her staff while bored.
Hobbies: Drawing, Nattyâs oddly enough good at it.
Fears: Her Mother, nobody quite knows what she did to Natty but it is better left unknown. Bears, those big brutes lived in a forest near Blackreach and would always wonder too close to town during their breeding season and scared young Natty many times over. Blood, it seems that blood has been something Natty has fear since she was young since she even reacted to blood in the most overwrought way possible when she was a mere twelve years of age.

- Magical Knowledge: Nattyâs many years of studying magic with her Mother has taught how to identify spells and magical items as well as sense the presence of simple, magical traps.

- Summoned Animal(Wolf): Nattyâs long hours of studying werenât for nothing. She can summon a wolf to fight by her side. For every hour the Animal is active, Natty will feel more of a strain on her mental endurance. Requires Natty to have at least a couple of hairs of a wolf.
- Summon Spider Swarm: These weak little spiders arenât the most dangerous buggers out there, just very annoying. Usage of this spell can be done about four times a day but requires a minute or two of concentration to cast.
- Animate Golem: This is one of the more complex spells Natty had learned with her mother. It can be cast once per day but requires previous preparation to use such as the creation of a vessel for the golem to take. The vessel can be small but requires magic to be molded into it enlarge it. Take several minutes to animate the golem.
- Wind Wall: Natty summons a strong force of wind to protect herself against small projectiles and creatures. Can be used three times a day but cannot be used indoors. Takes a couple of seconds to cast.
- Summon Squirrel: While Nattyâs summon squirrel seems next to useless, it actually functions as a spell meant to summon a small and easily disposable scout. Can be cast five times a day with very little concentration. Can only be dispelled when Natty is in contact with it and the magic linking it to her can be tracked.

- Basic Clothing: Three red shawls, two green shawls, four black skirts, one brown skirt, black leather flats, and a set of tan underclothing.
- Coin Pouch: A small leather pouch with a drawstring on it
- Assorted Coins: About sixty silver and twenty bronze last time Natty counted.
- Satchel: Holds a small number of dried meats and items for performing summonings. Also holds Nattyâs diary, wouldnât suggest reading it.
Weapons: Personal weapons, no magically enhanced items
- Iron Dagger: A dagger whose blade is about a foot and a half in length, not quite a sword but small enough to classify as a dagger. Used only when people get too close.
- Silver Dagger: Stolen from Nattyâs Mother, about eight inches in length and is normally kept tucked into Nattyâs skirt.
- Wooden Staff: Supposedly grown from a literal tree by Nattyâs Mother using magic. Used for hitting opponents from a range but also can be used to channel magic. Occasionally used to thwap a man right in the gonads if needed.
Armor: Base armor only, no magically enhanced items
- Leather and Iron Skirt: A full, leg length skirt made from leather strips with studded iron on it. Protects her legs from very little but it is better than nothing.
- Four layer Cloth and Wool Doublet: A doublet made of cloth, specifically sheeted cotton, and wool woven together. Protects from very little damage but it is better than nothing.

- Bed Roll: A simple, wool bed roll which Natty uses for camping outside.
- Flint and Steel: For lighting fires of course.
- Waterskin: A leather water skin, usually holds about a dayâs worth of water. Can be rationed to last longer.
- Dried Fruits and Meats: Assorted mixture of dried meats and fruits which can be consumed. Lasts about a week without rationing. Can last two if rationed.
- Inkwell, Ink bottle, and a quill: Used for writing in her diary. Running low on ink though.
- Oiled Tarp, 6x6: Used to keep rain off when sleeping outdoors.
Magical Items: Limit 2 low level
- Travelerâs Cloak: Stolen from Nattyâs Mother, enchanted to keep the wearer warm and dry in the rain despite it being just cloth.
- Bracers of Endurance: A set of magic bracers which increase Nattyâs ability to run and travel for longer periods of time than normal. Has no real other purpose since they are made from leather wrapped in cloth.

- Three Numbing Potions: A homemade brew that Natty was taught by her Mother, dulls the pain of any injuries and can help with the pain of using a summoned being for a long period of time.

Childhood: Born to a Mage who was supported by the local baron in Blackreach, it was expected of Natty to have a natural talent in magic. As such, she spent many hours in her Motherâs study while she worked on potions for the fool of a Baron. Once Natty could understand what she was being told, Aurelia began teaching her about magic and its functions.
Adulthood: For the past six months, Natty has been traveling the road as a sort of âmage-for-hireâ. Belief is that she is looking for her Father who Aurelia thought was around the area of Salarn.
Special Moments: Getting her âbrandâ in the twelfth summer she was alive. Natty was only twelve years old when her Mother tattooed onto her bank the supposed âmarkâ of the Crane family. It was a painful process that was done in one sitting with no magic to heal any damage done nor any potions to numb the pain. The entire time, Aurelia questioned Natty on the uses of magic and its functions.
Natty remembers receiving the news from her Mother that she was arranged to marry the Baronâs corpulent and grotesque son. The pig of a man insisted on the marriage happening the next month. Natty didnât want to go through a life with such a disgusting being, for she wouldnât even call him a person, and ran away from home afterwards.
Current Events: Nattyâs been on the run for six months now and has passed through many towns and villages. Aurelia had told Natty that her Father had once been in Salarn about two years before. After doing some questioning in nearby villages, Natty has learned that her Mother had been lying but went to Salarn anyway in hope of finding information on where Marcus Crane is.

- â Maria Crane: Yes, Nattyâs own enemy is her sister. After having run away, Aurelia tasked Maria of bringing back Natty at any cost. Since then, Maria has been trying to outsmart her sister and even injure her to force her back home but has failed every time. Seems like good training for the both of them actually. If Maria fails before she turns sixteen, she has to marry the Baronâs son.
- âź Venus Samaria: A human woman who ran an in back in the town of Brindale. Offered Natty a room to stay in for a few weeks, free of charge of course, after hearing her story. Cared for the young run away as if she was her own kid. Natty quickly learned that Venus was a widower and her son, Korbin, had gone off to join the militia in Salarn.
