If had been 30 years since the humans went nearly extinct. There was only about of them left. Flemmings had been working to raise his newly created race of the Dej. These were creatures that would try to keep the peace between the inevitable wars that would break out among the races. The planet had not changed much except for all buildings from the humans being completely demolished. There was no trace of the humans left. It was a new world though, no pollution could be seen, forests flourished everywhere.

The Dej were going about their day like nothing had happened. Having no idea that some of them were being watched by the Neja, a terrible race that only wanted to lay waste to the land and conquer what they had already not conquered.

All this time Cia had not been seen. Some had believed her to be a story at this point. Or atleast that was what the mortals thought.

Within the nexus there was a shimmer. Cia had popped out into the world finally after 30 years. Her arm wasn't as badly burned as it was before but it was still very red. Cia had no idea what had happened to the world since she had been away.

No Humans, except for a thousand or so in the hands of "The Dragon". The Dragon, sometimes called the Dragon Lord ruled them like an equal among less educated peers. These one thousand Human beings had the technology of the old world, which was good. You could avoid harming the planet with the use of cleaner technology of lasers, nuclear reactors, etcetera and the newer sciences, of course. With only one thousand Humans left though, the only industry to speak of in Humanity could perhaps be the "Psychology" industry. These were survivalist hard core Humans and soldiers, with a few scientifically minded individuals involved with keeping the last Humans alive.
The Dragon, however, was quite busy keeping these people educated in numerous ways, both scientific and other wise.

"Well, another day, another successful loot spree."

Xoxi said this as she left Dej's civilization, hauling a burlap sack over her shoulder. Today held a successful haul for her. Xoxi had been living on her own for near 16 years now, before the complete fall of humanity down to it's near collapse. Using the sewers that ran underneath the city as her routes for raiding and nabbing all loot was convenient, as it offered a safe route in and out of the city, and it can be an easy way to lose people that want to kill you, and provided you know where to go you can run under the entire city and hit every single large scale business and such.

"The Dej strike me as surprisingly... what's the word... ignorant, to my actions under the city."

Xoxi left the sewer and emerged outside of the city. Under fruit trees and near a lake, this was a perfect cover up for her secret entrance to the sewers. Nobody suspects the nice places.

Plantoids have been during extremely well in this world, seeing as the only race able to eat them is the Chacals. They have mostly come to enjoy more lush environments, finding that many things fall into their gaping...smiling....maws. Considering they do not care what they eat as long as it is meaty, many races have come to warn of the smiling plants and their dangers. Some may think that they are harmless and may venture into an area with one...but they may no longer be seen again.

Channels however, have grown quite well as a race. They have a pack mentality that spurred the rise of a community much like ancient Egyptians. Being peaceful makes so that other races may become alliances if they were to prove themselves. For while Chacals are friendly, they are defensive.

Alec is often among his favored race as a high priest known as Azazel. He finds he is proud of this race and quite protective of it.

One night, his sleep goes from the blackness it has been for the last 30 years straight into a nightmare. He tosses as he is plunged into the grasping arms of the traumatized souls that cause him to avoid his home often. Flailing they scratch and tear at him, void expressions showing nothing as their mouths gap wide into screams. He then is tossed to rhona. As he reaches for her she crumbles into dust. Her last words unheard but known. "Your fault" he ends up on his knees as Leon strikes him down with lightning fury on his face. As he dies in that scene he is tossed to another. One of his undead father screaming, his face barely recognizable. He tosses and turns in his bed as the nightmares continue.

In a cave on the coastal shores in the former country of Ireland, was a newly created sacred grounds. A barrier, powerful yet invisible to the naked eye, veiled the caves maw. Inside lied it's treasure, a young goddess of fire and light, Rhona, and her twin, a god of the seas and thunder, Leon. It has been over 30 years since their home was destroyed, and they had fled to their current dwelling. And it has been over 30 years since the young god sealed his sister away.

Another dark "day", the same as the last, and the last, and even the one prior. Yet no matter how long time has passed, Rhona's condition had not changed in the slightest. 30 years and she still lies asleep inside the cave's heart, patiently guarded by her loyal brother.

With, what Rhona's soul would to believe, the extinction of all humans; she has refused to awaken, despite her once fatal injuries, had healed long ago. She had fallen deep into the dark, murky depths of despair and depression, as she believed it to be her fault that a race she cared for so deeply, yet knew very little about, was wiped clean off the face of the Earth.

Not a thing has changed since then. Not a beat, not a breath. Not a single thing has changed. Yet Leon waited and hoped for the day that her beloved sister would awaken from the dreadful curse he had placed on her. The terrible mistake he had made. He tried to hold his patience, yet it wore thin with every passing hour. " You know tha' tha flow of time cannot be changed no matter how long ya sleep. So why? Why do you refuse to awake? Are ya waitin' fer somethin'? If so, what? What are ya waitin' fer?" The young god whispered softly to his other half.

Xoxi began the long walk towards her home. It's a small house, in surprisingly good shape on the exterior, and on the interior it's in decent shape, there's also power, supplied by a windmill nearby. The windmill is in a bit of bad shape, but could hold out for a few more years, provided these years are kind to it. There's some plants growing on the sides of the house and the windmill.

"...Plants... every day I swear it seems like more of them come. I should probably move out soon from this place before plantoids come and screw up my life."

"Hmm... maybe the coastline. Sand tends to not mix well with plants."

Xoxi proceeds to leave the house after grabbing her precious belongings and money for the journey. She heads over to the front gates to Dej, and consults with the carriage driver.

"Excuse me sir. I was wondering how far east you'll take me. I would love to stick around here for some more but the sea is where I truly want to be."

"Depends. How much coin you got, and how far you need to travel?"

"I need to go to where Britain used to be. Or as far as you'll take me in that direction."

"Britain, eh? About 50 silver and you got it."

Xoxi hands the 50 silver over and climbs in the carriage.

With the world barren and turned back to it's original state from Cia's release of the monsters. The Merged began to create new life to inhabit the earth. Landon had retreated to the North, but continued to watch the Merged in their endeavors. The lives they created were sometimes very intelligent and helpful to the world and other times they just ate everything around them. Landon decided to create life as well. He wanted to create them in an area with which he was comfortable. He decided to make their beginnings in the North, where he had been spending most of his time when on Earth.

He got the help of one of the Merged to unlock his powers for this task. He wasn't very creative, so he decided to use humans as a base for his new race. They would obviously need to be able to survive the freezing temperatures of the Arctic, so he came up with a few changes to their anatomy to correct for this. Their grey skin is thicker and gives off less heat than typical humans. As well as thicker hair that would trap more heat, and hair around their extremities where heat doesn't originate. He also gave them the ability to use extremely sensitive echolocation. They wouldn't always need thier eyes for things. In fact to detect where an object was located, echolocation worked better than eyes and in 360o around the body. Their hands and feet also had claws in the end of them to help with grip, since even their fingers and toes were covered in fur. He also realized that fish was a primary resource in these parts. He gave them larger lungs and stronger respiratory systems than the humans had. As a result they were stronger than the humans as well.

He was happy with his creation and created several hundred of them and left them to begin their families and lives. He named them the Tari and would help them occasionally to learn new things and how to survive and thrive. They soon even began to set out and meet other races. They made significant technological advances sharing the knowledge of other races and using it themselves. Even their encounter with a strange plantlike race turned out to be fruitful. They grew a few of them into adulthood, but once the plants ate a few of the botanists they realized their mistake in this. They quickly attacked the plants and killed them. They began eating parts of the plants and realized how good they were, and with so little vegetation in the North it would provide nutrients they desperately needed. They began to grow the plants in farms with warriors. Once the plants began to show signs of violence, they would kill it and sell it to be eaten.

The worship of the gods was also important to the Tari. Landon was held in highest regard as their creator and the god of cold and darkness. Landon provided the moon for them every night and took it away every morning. He provided the cold for the north wind to spread down throughout the earth.

The thirty years went by quickly and Landon was beginning to miss the company of the Merged as well. Not knowing where all of them were exacly he decided to begin with the Nexus. It seemed that place was becoming the main meeting spot for the Merged. He walked through his shadow again and reemerged in the Nexus the same as last time. As he entered he noticed it's emptiness. It was very serene when no wars or meetings were being held there. He soon noticed Cia was there as well. "Cia, you're back. I missed seeing you. Actually it seems like most of the gods have been off doing their own things. I was looking for Flemmings, but it's great to see you too. What have you been doing, and where have you been?"

Reese walked down a hall where commotion could be clearly heard on the other end. As he walked pass mortals they'd stop whatever they were doing and salute Reese speaking the usual words spoken from by a Native Imp. "Father!" They would shout then resume their previous actions once Reese passed them. For the first time in forever Reese wore an attire that would be considered formal in fashion to his people. Although this is a new since Reese was so comfortable with loose baggy clothes. Reaching two large doors Reese knocked three times and opened it revealing 4 mortals soluting him as he entered. Reese nodded and made his way to the head seat sitting down when he reached it. Almost immediately after he sat down one of them started to speak.

"Lord Reese our Nation has grown beautifully over the years. I believe we're ready to branch off and form alliances with the other Nations." A fairly tall demonic male stood. "I'll think about it Lapis but as of now we have something more important to focus on." Reese replied. "Rubie, Emma I need you two to make a small force and go to the ocean to the east. Take as many supplies you two will need. Your missions are to retrieve 100 squids please don't fail your Father." Both of the women that sat to his left nodded and exited the meeting room leaving Reese and two of the male demon. "What the hell do we need 100 squids for!" The demons know as Lead spoke.

"Lead! That's No way to speak to the Father!" Lapis quickly shouted giving him an angered look. "No it's fine..." Reese stated. "I've decided that since we're strong enough I want to revive the woman I love is that a problem?" He asked looking directly at Lead who's was attempting to avoid eye contact. Reese continues. "I'll need human sacrifices to revive my love and I don't want to kill my own children." Lead and Lapis was completely surprised by Reese's words they only listened as it was obvious he had more to say. "Once I get the 100 squids I'll hunt down other mortals and do what is needed to get her by my side." Lapis stood. "F-father what about....us.." He asked attempting to hide his fear of the current information he just heard.

"I'm still your god but after today I'll be impeaching myself." Reese replied. "WHAT!!!" Both Lapis and Lead shouted. Reese just smiled and shook his head. "Don't worry Helium of the Noble family will become the ruler in my absence." Both of the mortals stood sadness in their eyes. "Don't worry once I have my wife to be I'll return...." Reese added on standing and exiting the meeting room. He walked along the hall and looked through the windows that showed the city heheped build. A city that looked similar to America during the 1800's. Though the technology wasn't that advance. The city was live with magic. On a hill stood Reese's home a castle that looked over the city. Reese appeared inside of his home the doors locked as if as massive weapon was contained inside. He made his way to his room and sat on his bed looking directly across the room. There it stood the red Crystal that held Cythlla captive. Reese walked to it and brushed the back of his hand against the Crystal whispering. "Soon my love...soon."

The nightmares deepend in Alecs mind pulling the god of death far below the earth and further still as the corpses clawed and grasped at him with iron grips, tearing into his body as they pulled the god into total blackness before they hit water so black and thick it might as well have been tar. The only light was the grizzly visage of the ghouls and gheists demanding blood and payment for untimely deaths at the hands of the gods petty war. Further and further they pushed and pulled, clawing him now ineffectively until he hit bedrock.
A single breathe escaped Alec before the seafloor collapsed into a swirling maelstrom into the core of his nightmare dumping the breathless god into a nondescript area. Water 'flowed' behind him but it was corrupted and black with a purplish tinge to it, sticking to Alec stubbornly. A single low burning purple flame lingered in the cavern with seemingly no walls. Millions of figures flittered around the edge of the light but none dared to enter. Colossal creatures screamed their fury and shook the ground in outrage, so close to prey and forbidden their entrance by his command.
From the blackest patch of water it appeared, a hand of bone and twisted flesh struggling to escape its grasp, fingers from another hand forced the tar aside forcibly and deposited him in all its glory. Thalios slithered his way over weakly to the fire and Alec, grasping the son of Anubis by his neck and hoisting him off the ground. His very touch drained the essence of a god and siphoned it to a new master, purple flames beginning to creep across his flesh as Thalios gently released his grasp. "You look well, Alec." The fleshy skull rasped a laugh as it made its way to the Brightening purple flame behind the two. "You have taken good care of me since my disappearance I see. The essence you ate, a true piece of my being, nourished back to life in the bowels of your unsleeping mind." The terror of the meeting, the ghouls, was fading at the realization. A god of nightmares could not be born through mundane dreams, and only a god experiencing a true nightmare, could muster the energy needed to try. Here in the darkest pit of Alecs mind was the rightful ruler of the Greek Underworld, an ally once upon a time, and a friend still.

Thalios smiled as he slowly turned to stare at Alec. "Time to wake up." The jagged blade of Thalios' broken staff stabbed Alec in the heart.

------------------------

Gasping for air the God of the egyptian underworld roused from his slumber as any mortal did, sitting upright and glancing every which way. The fear lasted only a fraction of a second as it was replaced by a soothing sense of calm.
There he stood in the mortal realm, glancing at the stars, was Thalios Reborn in all his twisted glory. His head turned ever so slightly to offer one last 'smile' before purple flame fully enveloped him.
The wind whispered its thanks to his ally

-------------------------

Darkness, eternal and complete, surrounded Thalios as he emerged somewhere deep in the ground. Drawn to a source of prayer he had never heard but called his name, though not a correct pronunciation or spelling, it prayed to a nightmare figure all the same. Gigantic creatures with towering eye-covered horns roared the name of their deity at a single tar-covered skull of a twisted animal that had developed many horns. Thalios realized at one this skull was their holy symbol and was akin to his own. He would later discover the creature had once been sentient, a chieftan to these monsters, and had brought them to worship the shadows and the nightmares that lingered in their prey.
Through the crowd he walked unapposed to the alter, purple tar igniting as he crossed to illuminate the area for all the humanoids to see him fully.
A collective roar escaped them as finally their god showed itself. Arms outstretched, he spoke to them. "THALIOS!" He roared. The brutish creatures echoed the name.
A poof of purple fire incinerated Thalios' physical body in a display of power that sent the behemoths running in fear and awe. Out into the tunnels, into the darkness, they ran to find offerings and creatures to kill.
Out onto the surface they began their first venture.

After Alec awoke, he stands slowly. His large ears flicking as he shakes his head. With a small sigh he goes to write a letter to the priest and priestess that are underneath him. Once finished he replaces the fine plume into its holder and puts the note in a wooden box. He misses ball point pens and regular paper...With a last look around he teleports to the egyptian underworld. In his human form he weaves through the remaining traumatized souls... look of grief passing through his eyes. He makes it to his true home and paces. The nightmare of Rhona dying has him on edge and worried about her more then ever. he has no idea where she is, but he is so hopeful she would awaken. He runs a hand through his hair in slight frustration.

Just as the many days prior, Rhona lay inanimate in the cave's heart. Leon stood next to her sleeping figure, staring at her emotionless features and gently caressed her cheek. His usually indifferent expression was plagued with sadness.

Leon's appearance, much like his sister's, had changed dramatically over the last 30 years. His hair had grown to his shoulders and his face had grown quite a bit of stubble as well. He had grown a few inches and his build was slightly thinner, yet slightly muscular. His body had matured and he looked like a young adult.

Leon sighed and released his sister from his impatient gaze. A sudden thought of Alec appeared for a brief moment, then curiosity flooded his mind, as to how the young god was doing. "Perhaps it's time fer a visit. " He whispered to himself as he tied up his hair into a small, loose, mess bun.

Leon opened a portal to the only place he knew where he could find Alec; the last place he visited: The Egyptian Underworld.

On the other side, countless spirits crowded the realm. [color=ed1c24]"Glad ta see tha' not much has changed." He mused with a grin. He made his way through the crowds and to the palace, where he was stopped briefly by a couple of humanoid guards. However, it didn't take long for them to realize that they were in the presence of another god, and let Leon past.

He eventually found himself at Alec's room, where he found a pacing Alec who appeared to be in quite the panic. He was pale and drenched in sweat, and his expression was plagued by anxiety. "Bloody hell. Are ya alright? Ya look like ya had jus' seen a ghost." He replied jokingly, trying to ease the mood.

Alec looks up and sees leon a wave of emotions shoot through his eyes before a weary grin spreads on his face. Even though Leon is the one that put Rhona in her cursed sleep...he was at least some sort of connection. The only notable change beside him being pale and panicky is the size of his arm muscles. He strides over and hugs him possibly cracking his back and lifts him up in the hug before letting him go and stepping back. "I kind of did...see a ghost.." He looks up. "Thalios is back...thanks to a nightmare" He looks back at leon. "How long has it been now anyway?" He really hasn't been keeping track to time much anymore. Especially with him living among his creation. His creations which also don't pay too much attention to time...rather going by the seasons of the moon.

Cia looked up at Landon with a look of surprise. "I-It really is you!" Cia said with a smile of pure joy on her face. She hadn't seen him in so long. She had spent 30 years mourning however within the world she was in she found that time passed much slower. It felt like she was mourning for a single year rather than 30. Cia stood up with wobbly legs. She was still very weak from her time in a healing dimension it seems as she didn't really use her legs that much. Cia fell into Landon's arms with a smile still on her face. "I missed you so much! I'm so glad I'm back!" Cia said overjoyed. It was almost as if the whole disaster had never happened.

Flemmings in the meantime had been working with the Dej by creating their portals that lead to different places within the world. He had helped to create a few crystals as well that would teleport his citizens to the city immediately if the had come into any danger.

@otomosthecrazy
Really? Again? Sheogorath finally showed his face again. After he had created a god of science he was finally back to creating havoc. He was currently in greece. He was trying to trade what seemed to be a mammoth made of cheese for what seemed to be a giant bead. None of it made sense to either side. Why would he want a giant bead? It never made any kind of sense what he did but that was the fun of it now wasn't it? Aside from the giant mammoth of cheese had actually had Haskill with him. The pair certainly stood out. Many of the Duskicians were gathering around and it was creating quite a commotion. It was the biggest cheese mammoth in known history after all.

@actraiserthereturned
Dejor had recently set his sights on the humans. He had been wanting to start his attacks on the humans for awhile now. His forced were quite capable of taking down the humans and finishing them off. After all this world didn't need the humans anymore. Once those creatures started to create weapons they would dominate once more and the world would go back to the way it was. Dejor had a smile on his face as he ordered the Neja to go after the humans. Dejor was familiar enough with warfare that he knew to cut off their food first. They went after the farms created by the humans also cutting off whatever portals that would let the humans escape. A war had begun and the Deja were a vicious group that knew to cut off the food first. There would be casualties on both sides but possibly on the humans even more.

Leon was greeted with a massive hug that had quite a bit of strength to back it. "Well obviously ya had. This is the Underworld, after all." Leon replied chuckling. After a few moments of laughter and an exchange of greetings, Leon sighed then smiled. "It's been 30 years and 1 month exactly." He decided to avoid the topic of Rhona's condition, as Alec's had seemed to be far more fragile.

"Ah but tha's enough about me. Look at ya! I hardly recognized ya!" Leon replied as he grabbed Alec's arm, lifting it a bit. He smiled as he looked over the young god. " Ya've grown quite a bit since I had last seen ya! Your hair is longer, too! And look at those muscles! Ya must've been busy!"

Alec blinks. "30 years..damn...going by moon seasons really really got me off track with time" He chuckles. He laugh as his arm is lifted and he is inspected bit. "Thanks" He grins and shrugs. "Ive been in my god form for quite awhile...so I haven't noticed the changes too much" He looks a bit nervous. "I made a race Leon" He looks down. "Ive lived among them for awhile now and I must say...They are quite amazing" He looks back at leon. "Sorry I'm blabbering"
He looks over leon and chuckles. "You certainly have changed quite substantially too" He is doing his best to avoid the subject of rhona. Trying hard not to ask for a visit...or to ask how she is doing. He knew it would probably hurt Leon...and that might be why he is here instead of where Rhona is.

The Duskicians gathered around the oddly-chaped mound of cheese with curiosity. It had taken them moments of curious staring before any of them noticed the two that had brought it in the first place, as well as the fellow Duskician that was sitting atop a giant bead, and another, Duskician taking a good look at the cheese. The thing certainly LOOKED good, but it seemed hairy, and hairy food was barely ever appetizing to them. Especially when the hairy food wasn't meant to have hair on it. Some had started discussing on whether or not the trade would actually go through.

They waited...and waited...and waited, until one Duskician recognized the appraiser. A look of miffed realization showed in their glowing eyes as they walked up to the appraiser and whacked them on the head with a fist. The appraiser...had fallen asleep while doing his job. He apologized for the inconvenience, and proceeded to continue his inspection. He had found that the 'hair' that was on the cheese was actually VERY thin strands of string cheese. Upon further inspection, the thing was found to be made up of different kinds of cheese.

The appraiser gave a thumbs up to the Duskician on the giant bead, who responded with a nod.

"It's a deal, mister!" he said, as he jumped down. "One giant bead for one Cheese...thingy!"

"The rules of this world are no longer set in stone." As the Neja began their attacks, The Dragon's Human face appeared in the sky, speaking with a resounding fury. "We are no longer ruled by the old laws of non-interference. You know what that means!" Suddenly, the Earth began to open up and swallow the Neja, who were attacking the food supplies of the people. The farms were razed, but the food supply was large, every house had a large food stuff supply. The Dragon, however, cast the spell, the Earth began to swallow the invaders while the Humans defended themselves with their advanced weapons. "The Neja will be decimated. . . your homeland will now experience this spell I have cast, pray I do not destroy you further".

Dejor saw what had happened to 200 of his race. This god dare take out his own kind in his own territory! There would be consequences later. However one other god also noticed this. Flemmings was not pleased with what he saw. Defending themselves was fine. But using godly powers within another territory could not be overlooked. Flemmings himself was still trying to make a set of rules for this new land after all.

As the Neja were attacked they were able to take down atleast 20 humans with them. Not alot, but it was something. Dejor after this point ordered a retreat of all that was left which was only 50.

Within moments a portal opened behind the Dragon within it's domain. "I can understand defending your kind, but attacking them within their own territory will have to pay consequences. You will have a trial for those actions within 1 week. Be prepared and meet us in the nexus then." Flemmings said before leaving. Rataoskr at this point was set into action. There would be a trial very soon for the Dragon to determine a suitable punishment for the actions of what he did.

@Otomosthecrazy

Sheo was pleased with his trade. Within a moment though the Bead seemed to implode on itself harmlessly. It would hurt no one just implode. "You guys are fun! Who want's to have a party!" Sheogorath said with a smile on his face. He was in a good mood, and Haskill was only there to make sure he didn't get out control. Towards the end of the day Sheogorath had gotten the whole town into a party. There was music and drinking everywhere. Sheogorath had also been summoning rabbits and sweet rolls everywhere. Though the entire time he had been trying to summon Deadric because he believed them to be great at partying.

Xoxi hops out of the carriage, staring right at a demolished bridge towards Britain. The only way in is through some very skilled free running, and even then the support of it all looks like it could fall at any single moment. The land around it looks completely ruined. No signs of any plantoids around.

"Here you are, lady. I best be outta here before trouble shows up."

"Alright..."

As the carriage driver hauls out of there, Xoxi rethinks everything around her. The bridge is close to uncrossable, and going sideways is also not an option, so there was only one logical answer...

Screaming at an ocean.

Britain is an island after all. There's water surrounding it entirely except for the Ireland part of it, which is also surrounded by water. If it doesn't work the bridge is a really dumb yet somewhat smart idea. The bridge breaks, enemies can't get onto Britain. It stays up, Xoxi has a way off the island.

Xoxi climbed down a cliff, onto the shoreline, and faced the ocean. This was an abysmally dumb idea, she thought, but it was all she had to go on.

"HEY! CAN ANYONE HEAR ME? PRETTY SURE THIS ISN'T GOING TO WORK BUT IF IT DOES GIVE ME A SIGN OR SOMETHING!"

With an odd stroke of luck, a boat surfaces out of the water.

There's no explanation to it, the boat just appeared out of the water for no reason.

"...cool beans."

Xoxi climbs in the boat and starts rowing it towards Ireland.

It was Phoenix, Arizona. There were two thousand Humans, the last remaining survivors of the Human race, neighboring each other in the area. Phoenix was no longer, however, an arid desert area. . . rivers around Arizona gave life to the place, no longer was it a large desert, to reiterate, it was a forested paradise, a land more reminiscent of Medieval England's luscious nature than what the place was thirty years ago. Of course, Phoenix alone had millions of people. Now, there were two small nations in Arizona holding two thousand inhabitants. All that was left of Humanity.
