I feel you @Amaterasu.
I'm trying to get a chapter done for my assignment, but can't even get like a single paragraph done. Writer's block is truly a strong one.
I also hate the fact that I have several things planned and even endings but not the current events happening in the story. I NEED INSPIRATION DAMNIT.

It's for English, have to write a whole 10 or more chapter story.
Easier said than done really, the teacher wanted us to "move away from our comfort zones" and write a genre we're not used to, so naturally I picked Romance. Now that I think about it, it honestly feels more like a project rather than an assignment, thank god it's due March. I currently only have five or six over the fifteen I have planned, the last update was like two or three days ago, smh.

That coupled with the fact I have to write a report about The Catcher in the Rye makes it a little frustrating. And it's due February. lolmultitasking

Mix the genre with one you're familiar with.

Like for example, a romance that takes place in a fantasy medieval, or spy thriller romance. You suddenly have more set-out tropes to draw from and a much easier starting point.
