Still here. Was hoping for more reaction to the presence of a flying guy before he introduced himself (let me know who he's talking to), but I can put something in tonight if it's better for flow.

If you would, what are the specifics on the rifle you've got your girl aiming at Maxus? If you decide off of general principle to shoot him because he's an ass (wouldn't blame you), I'd like to figure if it'll get past his force field or merely knock his head back.

She's using a modified AMR-2, that fires .50 BMG rounds.

Thanks for that. Yeah, my guy is a pretentious ass, and will be played as such until he's spent more time around people. He's a good wartime companion to have, but that bedside manner... not so much.

Apologies for not having posted yet. Pretty sure I've got the flu. My head's been swimming, feels like I'm seasick, been throwing up, can't eat, etc... If I can get to feeling better to where I can look at a computer for more than five minutes without gagging I'll get a post up today or tomorrow.

I'm still pretty bad off at the moment guys. When I can actually get a voice out it sounds like Castiel from Supernatural, and while it hurts like hell apparently the wife thinks it's hot. Now it looks like my area is in for another few days of snowstorms.

I'll post as soon as I can to move things forward, with this being in Advanced I don't want to half ass it though.
