Ethan was more than a little surprised for the girl to walk up to him with her hand foward, intending to...warm up his face? What would that mean?
"Um...my face is actually quite warm, so although i appreciate the thought, i...oh." he stopped, realising what she was intending to do. He jumped back, gripping his halberd.

"I gave you one straight shot at my face." He said, grinning as he spun his halberd around.

"You wont get a second." As he said that, the halberd began to spin faster, the head beginning to glow red.

Amaterasu was surprised he fell for it for as long as he originally did, in fact it did put her off a bit: fortunately it did happen eventually. Watching him back off as he prepares to hit one of her body-parts. She isn't as lucky as Ethan since the male has all this thick armour which could deflect her flames... but she heard that metal heats up quickly enough to essentially burn the body. She was not going to go for that tactic however, she would open for attack and with that halberd in his hands: she would be essentially screwed because her flame shield can only shield against other flame attacks and not slices from a weapon. "Yes, yes. You did" she reprimanded herself, watching the male ever so closely. Now that she thinks about it, she might not be able to burn him as much as she wanted to in the first place.

"A second... as in time or placing??" she asked sarcastically, tilting her head ever so slowly. Obviously unphased by the halberd which was spinning as fast as something that would remind her of a chopper-like flying thing. But what did pique her interest was the whole glowing phisique to this. It was definately weird, and something she has not encountered before in her life time. Amaterasu's smirk started to show as she got into some sort of samurai stance with her katana. As if she was about to use sword magic, not that she was going to. She doesn't even know how to.

"Come at me then!" she demanded, ready for his attack. But what he probably wouldn't have seen is her foot; it was starting to emit some flames, albeit they were small so they wouldn't be noticed as easily as they normally would.

"Come to you?" Said Ethan, a smile on his face, slowly crouching. He looked at her, and activated a motion burst, launching himself six metres to the left. To the untrained eye, it almost looked like he had teleported.

"Why dont you come to me? With that pretty katana of yours?" He laughed, firing another motion burst, moving a few metres closer to her.
"Are you too slow?"

Another one. This time he appeared on top of a nearby shop, the roof quite impressively withstanding his armoured weight.
"Would this slow person give me the honor of knowing her name?"

He did it again, this time ending up only two metres away from her. He could have reached out and poked her face, but despite his immaturity, decided not to.

"Or do you not have one?" He giggled in an almost deranged manner and brought his halberd down, the axe blade burying itself in the pavement. There was a slight hiss, and the ground exploded.

Amaterasu simply watched as he seemingly teleported all over the place, it was shocking and impressive at the same time. She has never seen someone with such speed. And this girl loved running, not that she didn't blame herself for it because running and dancing dominated her life from her childhood stage. She remained on the spot, trying to catch his movements and she was only unfocused when he mentioned two things. One was her katana and how pretty it was. To be honest she didn't think he would mention that, but he did. The other one was asking her to come to him "Naahh, can't be arsed" she said boldly. She really couldn't be bothered coming towards him as then it would probably leave her open for attack, she doesn't have magic like his so she needs to catch him while he wasn't moving and teleporting like a boss.

There was something that finally caught her off guard, he asked for her name?? but she thought she had already given him her name. And despite having to stop and think for a few moments. But he didn't give her enough time to as he was suddenly in front of her. "Sh-shit" she mumbled as he thrown down the bladed section of his desired weapon and just watched as the pavement exploded. Luckily she did jump back in time but some of the debris still caught her face, one not being too big but not that exactly small either. She was likely going to get a bruise after this. But now was her chance to get another burning attack in and she was not going to let that phase her.

The flames that was burning lightly across her foot was still burning ever so lightly. She finally ran to the man as the explosion left the area rather smoky, one of the side effects of explosions and concrete she assumed. She began a round-house kick just as her foot was finally engulfed in the fires flames. Her kick landed on his cheekbone and kept it there for a second or two before landing her foot back on the floor, her flame dying down. "But it's ok, my flame will come to you instead"

Ethan barely closed his eyes as the explosion erupted close to his face. He was far too used to them to even be fazed anymore. He couldnt tell if that was a good thing or a bad one.

Then, his opponent came out of nowhere, her foot engulfed in flames as it swung for his face. He moved, but was a fraction too slow. He didnt take the full force of it, but the flames burned his cheek, making him growl in pain. Motion Bursting to safety, he felt his face. The burns were hardly bad, but it still stung. And with that, he smiled.

"Not bad!" He said cheerfully. "Tell you what. Whoever wins this has to get the other one a drink! That should add some competitive flavor to an otherwise pointless fight! Because lets face it, this whole guild thing is stupid."

He darted closer, concentrating kinetic power in his palm. As he got close, he outstreteched, and blasted it from his hand, sending a vicious shock wave towards the fire mage.

With her foot landing lightly on the floor, Amaterasu looked to the male with some sort of insane grin on her face, the smoke was clearing up and bit and she was feeling her lightly. That rock which hit her earlier got her good... "Not bad youself..." she grinned. She really did love to burn others. This man truly was a challenge, she wondered what class he was. But even with her class slightly higher then some in the class hierarchy, this was a type of magic that she has not encountered before personally. So it was a nice change of pace for her to deal with. And she even got to burn his face!!

She wasn't focusing properly, the only words she was hearing was 'drink' She could kill for a drink right now, she was really thirsty. The other words she heard was 'this whole guild thing is stupid'

Guild thing...

She tilted to see his face and rose a brow, this man was from Harpy's wing? Now she knows she has picked the wrong guild member to mess with: the others could go for her at any minute if they find out she has almost burnt this man to a crisp. "Eh!?" she shouted. "Your Harpy's wing!!??" Her queries getting slightly more aggresive as both of her hands engulfed in the bright flames, letting them dance around her delicate hands. "They hate me!!!" she was finally starting to get angry. Because she was so busy getting worked up however, she felt some sort of force pushing her backwards viciously. She was pushed so far back that it kinda lifted her through the air and landed her smack-bang on the wall. Falling slowly to the ground, her dress lifted up sllightly, showing some of the guild sign of the Golem's hand on her upper thigh. Luckily it wasn't high enough to show off her panties or anything else indecient; or she would certainly be in trouble.

Getting up quickly she pulled down her dress to cover up her guild sign and sighed softly "ok... you got me" she tilted her head "Let's just back off, we got each other once..." she mentioned kindly but coldly.

Ethan paused for a moment, and tried not to blush when her dress lifted up. Luckily, he didnt see too much, and he stopped warping around. Good thing too. He was starting to consider using a siege breaker, or if that failed, a break wave.

"Well..." he said, kind of awkwardly. He didnt realise she hated harpy's so much. When you dont care for the feud, you sometimes forget it is even there. Is that why she attacked him? No. SHe only started getting angry when he mentioned the guilds...

"Well..." he said again. "Its nice to meet you. I suppose as we drew, we owe each other a drink.. My name is Ethan Larcia by the way. But im mostly known as motion."

He plunged his halberd into the ground, and looked around. There...wasnt as much damage as there usually was when he fought...he must have been losing his touch.

Interacting with:
Illedrith, @Lord SawSaw2
Kyuuten, @Vongola_Hasayo
Xae @Raijinslayer
and any others I missed >.>

Before receiving a reply from Illedrith trouble brewed, almost as if his words cursed him. A flow of magic permeated the air nearby, turning to look it was Ria and Vega who were basically facing off, even though he just told him off. An unsettling and colder expression rested on his face as he watched the two figures;

"...I'd say it'd be pretty obvious from that, wouldn't you say? She always gets like this when she gets reprimanded, and she always comes off with an even worse scolding from the guild master for it in the end."

As if to spite him, Illedrith sarcastically remarked, well atleast to Rei.

"Some of your guildmates are bound to take offence to that, and I'd appreciate it if you could stop them from turning this into an all-out brawl while I try to stop Ria from getting herself into too much tro-"

She cut herself off, brandishing her halberd and pulsating her powers, likewise Rei activated own magic and gravity started to displace relative to him.

"Back right the hell off, Ashworth. For once in your miserable life, be the bigger man and walk away; responding to taunts with violence is so very like you though, isn't it?"

More and more guild members, Golem and Harpy seemed to arrive, the most notable ones being Kyuuten and Odinn. Surely they would stop this madness of the two worst people to meet during a festival. Kyuuten being the bigger man that he is offered an apology, albeit begrudgingly. Odinn soon followed, his lazy demeanor all about him, and before him and Illedrith could jump in he warped away the annoying members to god knows where. As unkempt and hasty as it was, it did fix the problem.

Rei sighed in annoyance, Rei rarely sighs. His normal, stoic and deadpan expression was uncharacteristically showing an exasperated one, That solves that. He turned off his pulsating magic. He then glanced, rather menacingly to the Harpy Wing's members present, and reluctance clearly strewn across his face, he bowed his head ever so slightly slightly,

"I apologise for my guild mates actions in this situation, clearly being the instigator in the first case." Rei said slowly, he was not used to apologizing, "If a punishment needs to be meted, I'll take his place." A flashback played in his mind with his guildmaster saying that he would be responsible for his guild's actions during the course of the festival, so he would have to do this, so he bows his head.

Vega Ashworth | Festival

His smile widened as he saw Illedrith and Kyuuten join the party. This was going to be fun. He's backed down two times today already, maybe if this moronic little girl would just shut her mouth for another minute he'd let them all be idiots with one another, but no, she had to go off and do that.

"If she stayed quiet for literally one minute, I'd have already left and you fools would've been allowed to be idiots at this festival in peace, but no, she had to go off and annoy everyone, and I happened to be in the crossfire", he began. He swung his blade around making all of them back off and spread out, or get struck if they didn't move.

"I've been on my best behavior and stood down once today, one time more than normal, you know when, but that doesn't look like IT'S ENOUGH FOR YOU SHITHEADS", the ground below him cratered as he stomped down on it, the pavement broke apart, and his magic burst all around him, destroying whatever magic was in play near him.

"Next thing I know I got that stupid puppy shit Travis trying to lecture me. The fuck does he know about me, HUH?!", he walked forward towards Ria, Illedrith and Kyuuten.

"So after that I decided to leave for awhile, you know, because I can't stand another one of these little 'incidents', but then this bitch here...", his blade was once again trained on Ria.

"Ugh, just looking at your face sickens me too... And now look who it is, Rei", not moments after this newcomer was Rei again, he swung his black back over his shoulder.

"Goody two shoes as always, stand back if there's any punishment to mete out, it's to them for getting in my way. I was on my way out of here but noooo, no one seems to want a peaceful day around here, I was trying to be real nice today too, 'special day' and all, but none of you seem to want to be nice back, so here I am", he reasoned... Or... Well, it wasn't really reasoning. Still, in observation, up until now was probably the most tame most of them had seen him. Usually he would actively go hunt someone down, but he hadn't done that, and just appeared when something went down, it was a strange technicality. He had no intentions of starting a full fledged fight today, at least until Travis showed up, but now was different.

As soon as he saw something form around him, Vega burst yet another blast of his magic again while swinging his scythe in a circle above his head, his reflexes skyrocketing into action, easily cancelling out the rift Odinn had called, although he didn't recognize what it was. Though as soon as the voice spoke up... It appears he didn't notice he failed to apply it to Vega, and just ended up sending Ria away... Unless she found some way out. She wasn't close enough to have her rift cancelled. The moment he heard that voice he made an immediate assumption, and an array of chains flew out from his arm as he swung it in that direction, immediately binding whoever it was mid-sentence, before pulling him towards Vega. He turned expecting to immediately just beat the guy down, but he didn't recognize him... His face turned from rage to some form of confusion.

"Who the fuck are you...?", and that was his first meeting with Odinn Wierike.

~Klisa & Ceri in a totally cliche Light Novel scene~

Klisa blinked a bit when she felt Ceri's hand suddenly slip into her own, with a firm grip that seemed to cry 'please don't let go'. It wasn't like they hadn't held hands before mind you, running from a monster on a dangerous job or trying to catch up to Miss Andrasia when she was boldly charging ahead. Many of those hand holding had been the sort of 'we are running and don't want to get separated kind. In a festival setting, hand holding tended to have a very different context. Klisa felt a tightness in her chest and a gentle heat color her cheeks.

~Relax Klisa~ she told herself ~Ceri is just making sure we don't get separated in the crowd, nothing more...still, it is nice to be holding hands just like~

As they approached the row of food stands she could feel the hesitation creep into Ceri's body language. She looked down at her friend and offered a comforting smile. "I attended a couple when I was little back in my home town. I'm betting it will largely be the same, even though my home town was along a bay, not a fresh water lake..." She paused thoughtfully and pursed her lips as if a disappointing thought just came to her. "Oh...I suppose they'll have no salt water taffy stands then. Pity that I always enjoyed those."
She took a moment to look around the food stands, and taking stock of their options "well, you can always trust there to be alot of fried anything, the sweets and sweet-breads are always nice. If your looking for something more meal like and not just a quick snack, I suggest we hit up a stand selling anything out of the local lake, Being a lake town that more or less assures it will be a local specialty."

"U-uhm, something sweet sounds nice." Ceri replied, somewhat unsure. She wasn't a big fan of fish, and if that's what came out of the lake then she didn't really want any. She was curious about this 'Taffy' Klisa mentioned though. Salt water as a food? That didn't sound like something someone would eat at all. Maybe she'd ask her about it later.

Klisa gave a nod of her head and began to scan the stands mumbling 'Something sweet...something sweet...' untill her eyes settled on a stand that spoke to her, she let out a little 'Ah' noise and smiled. "How about some shaved ice? May be a good idea to try and hit that up before Ria notices it. I bet they use the local lake water too, so it should have an extra fresh taste to it. Its sort of like a snow ball thats been flavored with sweet syrups."

Shaved ice? She turned to look where Klisa was. A snowball flavored with syrup? That certainly did sound good, and if it was something Ria would possibly want...yeah, it was a good idea to get it before she took all of it. "Ah...that sounds fine..." Ceri replied.

"Alright then~." Klisa said cheerfully, leading them up to the shaved ice stand. She paused for a moment to look over the flavor selections "Hmmm, how about we go for the 'rainbow' option. it will let you get a little taste of all the different flavors so you'll know what you would like best for next time..." she began to trail off as she patted at her side with her free hand. She froze for an instant and looked down at her side.

"Darn it...I forgot my purse back at the guild..." she rummaged through her pockets for a moment pulling out all the loose change she could find. "Well...I don't have nearly enough for...anything actually..." she let out a embarrassed little laugh and returned her chage to her pocket. "How much do you have on you?"

"Oh...I think enough for one." Ceri sighed. Well that was certainly a problem. She hadn't thought to bring any money with her, considering she wasn't really planning on going today until Klisa found her. She did want one though. Looking at the shaved Ice being sold, it definitely looked good, but she also didn't want to be the only one enjoying it. That was a problem, and there was only one solution to it she could think of. "Uhm...m-maybe we could...share one?"

Klisa's eyes widened at the suggestion, her face once more feeling the faint warmth of blush, and she may more may not have squeeze Ceri's hand a little tighter. Sharing something like this, on-top of holding hands, in this sort of setting. Well it was all thingscouples traditionally did. Actually if she thought about it, they probably looked a lot like a couple right now. The thought alone made her heart flutter a little bit. She was fairly sure Ceri, given her general lack of understanding of such things, hadn't put that together. And she was fairly certain that saying yes and taking advantage of that innocents would be a bad thing to do as a friend.

"S-sure, That sounds great Ceri." ~Wait why did I say that? Quick brain abort, abort!~ "D-do you still want to try the rainbow one or..." ~AHHH STOP IT~

"Yes!" Ceri eagerly replied as Klisa squeezed her hand just a bit tighter, though she didn't comment. She was a bit too focused on the shaved ice, and the rainbow flavor. What better way to find out which one she liked best, than to try them all at once? Although, all of them looked good, and choosing between them would also be quite difficult. So she reached into the pockets of her robe, rummaging about for a few seconds before she found her money, and handed it to Klisa. "This should be enough, right?"

Klisa took a subtle deep breath and attempted to regain her composure. No turning back now. She...she would just ask for two spoons to come with it, That way they would look more like friend sharing the frozen treat.~Yeah, right, good plan~

She couldn't help but smile at Ceri's eagerness, it wasn't often that the shy young mage showed such energy, it was undeniably cute. She accepted the money and went over it once. "Yeah, this looks like just enough." She queued them up in line. It was moving quite fast, who ever was working the stand was quite the skilled vendor it seemed. In almost no time they were up. Klisa, being the more out going of the two was prepared to place the order.

The vendor, a woman in her mid 40's, paused from her busy yet efficient routine and noted the pair of girls in front of her. her eyes pointedly looked at their held hands and then at the blush on Klisa's face. She gave a some what coy grin and asked for their order. Klisa, feeling the flutter of her heart pick up again, quickly placed the order. But before she could ask for a pair of spoons the paper cone filled with beautiful rainbow colored shaved ice was in her hands and the natural flow of the line had moved them away from the stand.

Klisa blinked in surprise for a moment at how quickly away they had gotten from the stand, she looked over her shoulder at the vendor, who spared her a quick look, winked, and gave her a 'good luck' thumbs up ~OH MY GOD THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING~

"W-well, here you go. Since it's your first time you get the first bite."

"O-oh, well alright..." She couldn't say she was entirely against it, so she took the spoon, not realizing the vendor had only given them one. Getting a spoonful of the shave ice, she brought the treat to eye level, studying it just for a second before shoving the spoon in her mouth. She was immediately greeted with an explosion of flavor. A delicious, sweet flavor she was fairly certain was maybe blueberry and something else, but she wasn't sure. What she was sure of, was that it was delicious.

So she grabbed another two bites of it, before realizing Klisa wasn't eating any of it.

"Ah...uhm...sorry..." She continued. "I said we'd share and...I'm trying to eat all of it." She fidgeted, chuckling shyly, still not realizing she had the only spoon.

Klisa was glad she had suggested well, even from beneath the obscuring hood she could tell Ceri was enjoying the icy treat, as evident by her enthusiastic scoops of rainbow colored sweetness. Klisa also felt a bit of relief, for a moment at least, that Ceri may simply eat it all and the odd almost date like scenario would be at an end. But seemed fate felt otherwise.

Klisa, looking for a reasonable excuse as to not hurt ceri's feelings looked down at her hands, one still tightly he's Ceri's the other holding to cup of frozen sweetness. "I-I would love to but my hands are kind of full, hehe."

"Ehe...oops." Ceri replied nervously, turning red just a bit in embarrassment. She didn't mean to keep holding onto Klisa's hand after that, but that was a problem. Well, the simple solution here was to simply release her hand...but wait...come to think of it, if they were holding hands still then where was the other spoon? Didn't they get one? Klisa didn't seem to be holding one and there wasn't another one buried in the shaved ice.

Well, that solution was simple then. Honestly, she'd never be completely bold about something before. She was just too caught up in the moment to notice much. So she scooped out a bite of the shaved ice with the spoon, and held it out to Klisa, giving her a friendly smile from under her robe. Unfortunately, halfway through, she realized just exactly what it is she was doing, causing her hand to tremble slightly as her face went as red as a tomato. "W-well, w-w....don't have another spoon...s-so, u-uhm...."

~did I fall into a light romance novel while I wasn't looking? Next thing you know a transfer student will show up and some tiny talking animal will tell me I'm the chosen one~ was about the only coherent thought Klisa could muster through her flustered shock at the extended spoon held to her face. When she said they should come to the festival she would have never thought she'd experience something like his, Ceri holding her hand offer a bite from a spoon she had already used. This was classic light novel 'in direct kiss' trope. She was starting to wonder if that creep sunny had some sore of power to shape reality because this seemed like the kind of crap he'd go nuts for.

Through her own flustered panic she noted how overwhelmed Ceri actually was. All the internal reaction Klisa was having Cari was wearing on her sleeve. For whatever reason that galvanized her into motion. With out any real hesitation she took the offered bite and gave her a wide smile "Thanks, it is really good."

She paused only for a moment, unsure of what to donor say next, she honestly felt like she could sit in this moment for the rest of the day.

"Ceri...Ceri I-" she began to say, and ahe want even exactly sure what was going to come out of her mouth next, but she was cut off by the familiar feeling of Mis's Magic and the somewhat distance tone of her voice raised in anger.

"Did you feel that Ceri? I think Mis may be in trouble."

The action earned a happy, though definitely relieved sounding sigh from Ceri. She may have been the one to suggest it, but she was still so nervous about it. She really was glad that no one she knew seemed to have seen them. She wasn't sure she'd be able to function properly if they had. Well, at least it was over. She would have honestly been glad to sit like that for a little while longer though, next to Klisa, but Klisa definitely was right.

She definitely heard Mis' voice shouting something. She was confident Mis could handle herself, but...well, they should probably definitely go see.

"Mhm..." Ceri replied, giving a nod. "That's definitely Mis..." She hoped it wasn't Vega or another member of Golems hand causing a problem. "S-should we go?" She quietly asked, taking another bite of the cold treat.

"Yeah, I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this..."

The pair of them, still holding hands, began to swiftly make their way back towards Mis. Ceri was still holding onto the shaved ice, though, not wanting to let such a delicious item go.

Ky Xaesos

Ky chuckled a little at Pyrrha's reaction, enjoying the confused look on her face as she looked about. Kyuuten wasn't as easily tricked, however, and was about to call him out when their wasba sudden commotion going on not to far away. While they rushed over, Ky took his time, arriving silently on the scene just as Vega launched into his whole tirade. His Veil had been eaten away by Vega's magic, but he was quick to re-apply it while he hid behind Rei's form. He silently moved into position behind Odinn, seeking to capitalize on Vega's attention would be focused in one direction. He breathed a soft sigh as he focused the magic into his eyes, before unleashing the attack.

"Twilight God's Blinding Gaze."

A quick flash of black would hit Vega and Ria, hopefully blinding Vega while the ice Mage was an unfortunate casualty. Odinn, since he was facing away, would probably be a bit disoriented, but not blinded by the attack. After that, ky was quick to move to the side, running around behind Vega to avoid the possible counter while signing a quick message to Rei.

-Our problem, we'll handle it, owe them nothing-

After that, he'd gather magical energy into his arms, his hands curling into fists as he launched himself forward, launching a fast straight at Vega from the side, which would explode in a blast of black light, hopefully disrupting his hold on the Rift user and refocusing his anger on another person.

"Shut up. I was hungry okay and I ate all the ice cream supplies, ice supplies and your favorites. BLEEEEHHHHH!!!"

Looks like Ria was at to her old childish schemes again isn't she? Of course she is. Allison wasn't really to fond of her, especially for her unruly behavior. But alas, the Beat-Miester had no control of her actions, not even with her music. All she did was sigh and cross her arms. Though now it seems as she's beginning to piss off members from the rival guild. If Allison were to stick around, she'll be in an unintentional fight for sure. She quickly walks away from the scene and tries to find some other people to talk to.

Surely they'd be nicer than the brat Ria is right?

Man, he knew that he was creepy looking though to faint just because he looked...abnormal was harsh. Sure, he looked like he belonged in a haunted house, but he couldn't help that. People were so scared of him that he wouldn't be surprised that if they jumped out of their skin in fear. That thought alone made him sulk, but he perked up after seeing a familiar face. Granted, that familiar face was from the rival guild that would more than happily tape his mouth shut just so he would stop making horrible puns though then again, Hans' own guild would do that to him anyway. That familiar face was Travis of Golem's Hand, someone that Hans was on decent terms with though don't expect them to be extremely buddy buddy since they didn't interact with each other that much.

It seemed like Travis hadn't learned how to be tactful with others. His words about Hans' appearance caused the creepy looking mage to sulk again. "I'm allergic to spray tans and my skin burns easily when I try to tan, like really bad. I get redder than a boiled beet...And don't get me started about my allergy to contact lenses and how I have a talent for losing sunglasses..." The Bone-Maker sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "I guess when it comes to genetics, I was boned." Even at his own expense, he made god awful puns.

Huh, rigged games huh? Who would've thought that Golem Hand would've been so sneaky? "Oh really? So I guess that's a foul on your guild's part? You guys sure are never struck out of ideas. You sure threw a curve ball at your customers, which is kinda sad on their part since they're going out swinging. That guy running the stand must not be batting an eye for rigging that game." Again, more puns. Puns for days? Puns for days.

@hatakekuroAs if shielding himself from a blow Travis held his hands (still holding his food) out in front of him and turned his face away.

"No, no more, goddammit! The game's not actually rigged!" he broke down. "I just didn't want you to see that we made all the targets look like you guys!"

With a sorrowful sigh he placed his food on one of the cafe tables and hopped the fence. A magic battle he could take, but pun wars were not his style. As he sat down so he wouldn't have to worry about dropping anything, he continued to speak.

"The townsfolk have been uh, aiming at yours a lot. I mean, we all did the drawings on purpose, but after seeing how viciously people went after them I kinda feel bad about it." He took another bite of corn dog and leaned back in his seat. "But please, no more puns. At least not for the rest of the festival. It's just not..." His eyes suddenly widened. No! NO! But his brain couldn't act fast enough to stop himself! It was coming out before he realized it!

"Fair."

Ria Tsurara

Smug up as ever, showing that mug on her face even though that young man trained his blade down on her, Ria could do nothing but smile on the looks of his angered face, such emotion is to be reveled on; Goddess Freya aka Ria is too happy about it, that's just how she wants to strike competition, a competition she knows that she is going to win. Still, it's abusive to take advantage and she knows it, Harpy's Wing will protect their own if they are in danger, when one gets hurt, others will go to war, very nostalgic and a shout out to a guild that was number one before. "Alright! my turn!!!" Then she noticed something quickly. it was all just a dream or everything just happened fast.

"CURSE YOU ODINN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANNA FIGHT!!!!!!! Where the heck am I!!!!!"

Hans grinned widely and chortled gleefully at his own stupid puns. If there is a definite pleasure in life that he knew existed, it would be making puns, especially bad puns and sharing his love of puns is one of his favorite pass times. In fact, he was infamous throughout the town as someone who loved to make puns at the expense of others if Travis' reaction was any indication. However he stayed silent at the boy's request to stop making puns, since Travis felt guilty enough for having cardboard cutouts getting pulverized by baseballs, especially his.

Travis sat down across from him and again pleaded with him to not make any more puns for the rest of the fair. Well, Hans may have obliged with his request if it wasn't for one tiny thing: Travis made quite an excellent pun. Whether it was unintentional or not doesn't it matter. What mattered was that it set his heart ablaze with a passion that could not be quelled, a passion that is probably going to get him punched in the face by one of Travis' takeover forms. Eh, whatever. It's worth it.

"It's all good my festive friend. All's fair in love and war, and considering our guilds' relationship it's certainly not the fairest so it's definitely war, but why should we care since today's events are so fair and lively? Well, that is if it doesn't rain, which I'm fairly certain it won't. It would be a shame if it did. There's a ton to do around here. People to meet, places to be, food to eat. There's a skeleton to do and I intend to enjoy it all. I'm feeling like my funny bone is really starting to shine just from all of this excitement! You could say that I'm feeling quite humerus. By the way, do you know a stand where I can get some food that will stick to my ribs? I haven't found anything that screams 'bone appetit' so I figure that it wouldn't take a bonefied genius to figure out that someone from Golem Hand would know his way around his own festival. By the way, nice festival you guys are having. You sure put a lot of backbone into it. Oh oh, is there a soccer based stand? I can scream 'GOLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM' if I get a goal."

@hatakekuroTravis clenched his teeth so hard he snapped the stick left from the corn dog he had been eating.

"Arrrgh!" He slammed both hands down on the table, causing his nachos to tremble for a moment, and stood up angrily. He raised one fist...then pointed at Hans in challenge.

"Alright already, quit harping on me! It's obvious by this point that you're just winging it!" He had done it. There was no going back now.

"If anybody in Golem's Hand heard those lame jokes, they'd be completely stone-faced! What's worse, most of them are just the same play on bones, you numbskull! You've got to diversify if you want to stand-up in the world of comedy!" What...what was this feeling, coursing through his veins? This...sickening giddiness? Was this what it was like to give in to the madness, and lose oneself in the insight of elder gods?

"I have to admit, some of those bad puns may have groan on me, but even for you they're too bare bones! And I can't believe you had the gala to involve our festival in it!" Now it was time for the finishing blow! Triumphantly, Travis brandished his last corn-dog, pointing the fried snack at Hans like a sword.

"Even my dawg here thinks you're too corny!"

My soul is forever damned.

"Auh?!", there was a blinding flash of light, he recognized this technique... That means he knew exactly what was coming next. He gripped onto the unnamed mage - who others know as Odinn - by instinct while he was blinded. He concentrated his magic thickly around his body, starting at his chest, and going outward to form the distinct armor that is his 'Death God's Veil', and just as he thought, he felt a sharp punch in his side. His stance faltered a little as his back foot slide in response to the punch. The black blast that Ky thought would come never would, as his fist embedded deep inside the armor, the magical veil just eating up the magic as it was meant to erupt, the purple violent lines would pulse with white and black to signify the magic being drained.

"I felt that, kid", his head in the armor turned to where Ky was, his voice was filtered whilst he was armored, like some ungodly knight. He was blinded for the moment, but that didn't matter. Dispersing his scythe he grabbed Ky's wrist with his now free hand, pulled him forward while sliding his foot at Ky's, causing him to trip, before brutally smashing him into the ground with that same foot.

"I can't see you right now kid, so scream for me instead!", he taunted.

"And you... You haven't told me your name yet", he was clearly referring to Odinn, of whom he has never met personally, but he now knows his face, now he needs the name. Just some random mage? Or a member of one of the two guilds. He was rolling on the latter.

Amaterasu looked to him and tilted her head curiously. She was wondering why he was acting so awkward towards her, the fight wasn't exactly the most serious of fights otherwise the whole place would be in flames and the rubble wouldn't really be classed as rubble. The fire lady merely sighed a few seconds afterwards and looked away. "Nice to meet you again, yes. We owe each other a drink indeed, not that I really need one" she yawned. She wasn't really much of a drinker unlike some other guild members all across Fiore, Kana from Fairy Tail for example. She did nothing but constantly drink to her heart's content. Ama doesn't even know how Kana can do such a thing.

"My name..." She sighed softly once more "is not important" she finished, coldly. She couldn't be bothered giving out her name, if he wanted it so much then he could easily ask the other members of Harpy's wing to sort him out. The only thing he may be allowed to know is her appearance for now. "Oh well"

Ethan gave her a smile, as if he had completely forgotten their fight! "Excellent! Its so rare people want to have a drink with me. Usually they think im dangerous..."

He stopped for a second.

"Anyway! I know a nice little place not far from here!"

The fire-lady crooked up a brow, he knew a small place?? That was convenient in her opinion, considering she doesn't know any place to drink. Remembering that she wasn't a drinker. She crossed her arms and leaned back against the wall. "Where is it then???" she wondered as she bit her lower lip. "And s there any food availible at that place, I would love to eat" Ama regretted the fight. She now had to eat again to regain that strength of hers that she so desperately needed if she was going to burn anyone else in her own free will. "I could actually kill for food..." Ama stated.

While she continued wanting this food, she looked to the ground and picked up her sleek katana and sheathed it behind her once more "If I kill you, don't blame me" she mentioned in a rather emotionless manner.

Ethan looked at her for a moment, his eyes and face betraying nothing of his true emotions at that very moment.

"..duly noted!" He suddenly said cheerfully, and beckoned her to follow him. "Its just this way. There should be food there, like cake and stuff. Ooh! I hope they have ice cream!"

He then stopped for a moment, then started walking again.

"Im just trying to be nice. I think your fire powers are pretty cool. I just wanted to know you a little better."

She understood that he wanted to know her a little better, but she cannot handle the fact that they were from different guilds. The guild rivalry was embedded deep in the roots for plenty of reasons, Amaterasu just couldn't cope with that at all. Her mind started to drift off into the world of imagination and she was thinking of what would happen if she would even be an A class in the world of pyromancy. Currently: Amaterasu was a simple B class, so she wasn't that bad at everything. She was in fact fairly decent. But she was still worried because she can still be easily overpowered by everyone who was a higher rank then her. Still, she enjoyed giving it a good bash and then she would finally gain respect from everyone. Not that she will anytime soon, because she was still kinda feared due to her love to burn everyone like a boss.

She slowly went back to the world of reality and sighed softly "Say, what if your magic specifically anyway??" she asked, she needed to find a way to counter it so she could kick his ass the next time they sparred together.

Ethan kept walking along, only to realise she had zoned out a little. He stopped, turned around and waited.

"...so this is what the rest of my guild has to deal with when i do that? Its a little odd..."

He continued to wait, patiently, until the spark went back into her face and she left whatever little world she was inhabiting. Then then proceeded to ask what his magic was.

"Oh!" he said happily. "No one ever asks that. Well, i absorb the energy caused by movement, which i can direct in many different ways. I can use it to move very fast, i can blow someone away, i can cause explosions...its pretty neat!"

Finally, they stopped at the shop that Ethan had remembered. It was a little corner place, tucked away unless you knew where to look for it.

It was strange that Ethan was never asked this question. So it shocked Amaterasu to an extent since his magic was really weird. But she did like the way he used his magic, like she preferred the creative side of magic and not the sheer brawn of it. It didn't take exactly long for this little cafe to appear within Ama's sight and Amaterasu sighed softly: letting her stomach grumble for some time before looking around... oops...

"Well then" she said awkwardly, she didn't expect that to happen because it can be classed as rude for a girl to even do such a thing. Nonetheless she took a good look at the cafe and smirked. She hasn't seen this cafe before and she wonders why she hasn't gotten around to this place first time round. "Such a cool cafe." she grinned slowly. It felt really awkward being with a rival guild member, but she can deal with it for now.

Ethan smiled. "It is, isnt it? Im surprised that its not more busy." He walked up to the door, and stopped.

Frowning, he turned sideways. then faced the front again, before stepping back and undoing a strap on his breastplate. "I dont think i can fit through the door. Just give me a second..."

Amaterasu finally saw her chance, as she stated earlier: she wasn't really in the mood for a drink. She was thinking about making a run for it whenever possible because the two were rivals... But she decided to stick with it, just until it was done and then she can burn him as much as she wants afterwards. And if she remembered right, he was paying. So she didn't have buy one for herself. "Let me help" she stated, finally kicking his side to push him inside the building. All in hopes of him falling on the floor: face first, it would be rather amusing to see.

Oh, it was great being rivals. She could be as aggressive towards him as she much pleased and it made a smile appear on her face.

Ethan, against all odds, managed to save himself from falling over. He looked around at the mage, and sighed.

"I...should get this off first." he said, undoing the straps on the rest of his armor pieces and pulling them off. When he was done, he placed them in a pile next to the door, sticking his halberd in the ground next to it.

The fire lady's grin was apparent. She did have fun while it lasted and she watched him get up, hoping he would say something insulting or offensive to her, but he didn't. Instead he got up and took off his armour. This was strange to the girl, she thought he would be wearing absolutely nothing underneath that piece of armour of his?? maybe Amaterasu could be surprised after all, and that she expects too much. She would probably need to start expecting less from others, especially from her burning antics. Some hated her need to burn people. Even her own guild members.

Crossing her arms ever so lightly, she stepped in and looked around herself, it seemed to have a rather friendly atmosphere with the sounds of all the customers eating their good food and good drink. With the general ounce of conversation. But it didn't stop her thinking about what the others would wonder if they found out that she was hanging out with a rival guild member then she would probably be one word: fucked. But then again, she couldn't be bothered paying for her own drink, so she will just wing it and burn him later.

Ethan cheerfully stolled inside, as if absoutely nothing could bother him. He planted himself near a table, and gestured for Ama to sit opposite him. Once a waitress walked up to them, he gave her his nicest smile, and asked for a chocolate milkshake with marshmallows on top, and syrup. Lots of syrup. Turning to Ama. he gave said smile again.

"What would you like?"

Walking just behind him. He seemed to have gave her some sort of arm movement as if he was offering her to sit next to him. She really didn’t want to sit next to him because she just wanted to burn him and such. But regardless she sat down beside him and looked away moment he tried to look at her. As the waitress came to the two to find out Ethan’s order. She heard what he ordered and she licked her lips ever so slowly, she loved milkshake with tons of cream and marshmallows and the like. When she heard the question she turned around and saw the waitress.

“Oh, I would like… the same please” she said quietly, playing with her hair boredly as she looked at her hand as it emitted a small flame. She stared at it like it was a circus show or something, but for once she wasn’t thinking of burning someone, but rather use it creatively while not burning someone.

Ethan nodded in approval as the fire mage ordered the exact same thing he did. As he watched the waitress leave, he turned back to his new...friend? Acquaintance? He wasn't sure what the exact term was for “Someone who is going along with plans to get a drink, but still may want to kill me for absolutely no reason.”

“So…” he asked, putting his hands together. “Do your guild friends take you out for drinks often?”

Odinn Wierike

It seemed that Vega was able to avoid the Rift using magic of his own. He proceeded to send a chain out to grab onto Odinn, an attack the S-class mage could easily avoid if he felt compelled to but rather he simply watched as it began to wrap around him. The only thing Odinn did was slip his right arm through the binding chain, keeping it free from being pinned to his side. And with that free arm he grabbed the chain directly, holding onto it with a strength that kept Vega from manipulating him physically. Despite his unimpressive appearance, he was one of the strongest around. Vega would get some kind of hint based on this trait, but Odinn didn't wait too long to answer his question. He simply waited a brief moment because he saw Xy go for an attack.

"Eh, my name is Odinn," he finally answered after Vega had surrounded himself in armor. "And I used my magic to save your skin, believe it or not. It would've been much easier to just drop you off somewhere else." He kept a tight grip on the chain. Odinn was aware that it inhibited his magic, but he knew that if Vega really wanted to challenge him then he wouldn't need it. He didn't really want to be challenged, which was the reason for his relative inactivity so far, but since Vega didn't know him then he probably didn't understand the hot water he was about to step in. "These chains are a bit tight. If you let me go now I promise I won't dunk you in the lake. Can't speak for everyone else, however..."

"So basically you wanted to get in my way", was his summary after listening to this guy for a moment. Whether or not Odinn had good intentions, he didn't care. He just wanted to let loose, in fact the idea of being forced away probably made him even angrier. He slammed his forehead into Odinn's, knowing roughly where it was, since he was holding him by the collar while wrapped in chains, before throwing him to the ground sliding away.

"I appreciate you wanting to 'help', but you're better off just sitting tight. I don't really care for you right now so just stay out of my way. I just wanna have a little bit of fun, that's all", as his vision began to return, Ria was nowhere to be seen... It looks like this Odinn was responsible for that. The black armor around him dispersed as his vision returned too. He turned his gaze to Ky, while stomping him a few times he spoke,

"Auugh I hate using that for longer than a few seconds, because it makes me feel slow and sluggish. But if YOU want to step up then go ahead!", as he finished talking he kicked Ky back away. For many high level mages, this wasn't an ideal amount of space for fighting, because normally they were more destructive on a larger scale, but Vega's was not like that, it focused on defeating mages after all. This was ample room for him to fight without damaging anything, provided the right person fights. He knew exactly the situation he was in, pretty much outnumbered, but he didn't care, he just wanted to let off some steam.

Despite the presence of two S-class mages nearby, the situation seemed to continue to escalate. In just seconds, Odinn had intervened and sent Ria away, but the biggest problem still remained, having used his magic to negate the rift just in time. Before Illedrith had a chance to react, a set of chains flashed out from Vega and wrapped around Odinn, pulling him close. As they were speaking to each other, Illedrith was already pressing forward, a fourth, much larger mirror with no edging coming into being beside her. As Vega threw Odinn away from himself and turned to kick one of his fellow Golem's Hand members, Illedrith struck.

Utilizing the distraction caused by Ky, Illedrith swept into range, slashing up toward Vega's back with the reverse head of her halberd, which was blunt for situations just like these. There was no way that Vega would fail to notice her approach, which is the reason for the that she had created. To Vega, it would show a perfect mirror image of Illedrith swinging her halberd, along with an almost completely seamless image of the space that would be behind her if she were real. The three other mirrors had floated down in front of the pair of Illedriths, and were ready to repel anything that came their way.

Illedrith's eyes had taken on a hard look as she glared at Vega's back. She was aware that he was a trouble stirrer, but this was too far, particularly against her guild mates who had so far not taken a single harmful action against him. She would take on the burden of punishment herself if it was to be handed out, but by God would he be put in his place.

Ky Xaesos

Ky mentally swore as Vega negated his attack, then proceeded to grab his wrist, trip him up, then slam him inti the ground. It hurt like a bitch, but Ky was far from incapacitated. In response to Vega's demand for screams, he mumbled a whisper that sounded something like "Go fuck yourself." As Vega then turned his attention to the other guy, Ky got in position to escape as soon as he saw an opportunity. He didn't have to wait long, however, as Vega decided to rub in his victory by attempting to stomp on the fallen slayer. As soon as he felt the weight lift off his back, he rolled to the side, just barely making it in time to avoid the hit.

As Ky rose up from the ground he noticed that another Harpy had come in, seeking to assist in taking Vega down a peg. While ne was only vague familiar with the woman, he figured the mirrors that now circled them were her doing as well. The mirrors gave himman idea, but he dismissed it for now. He didn't know enough about her magic to risk it. So, while she kept Vega's attention, Ky would draw Dusk and Dawn, imbuing them with his magic before letting them go, allowing the blades to hover near him as black light danced upon their blades. He once again cast the Veil upon himself while he had the two blades float high above the area, circling the battlefield and serving as a sort of overwatch. Given how things were going, Vega was in for quite the beat down, either from everyone in the guild, or the two Harpies he was facing. Ky knew that too many people in a fight with no coordination would end badly, so he'd simply wait for a chance to strike at Vega when needed.

It looks like Illedrith was going to be the one to step up. He felt her hard gaze on his back as he turned, in returned he also shot back a crazed look, just looking at the two, he knew exactly which one was the right one, it was due to the parting of her hair which never seemed to change, but he wasn't about to tell her that. Vega may seem like some childish idiot with no social skills, but he was quite the intelligent mage, and talented no doubt, and he knew that, which owed to him being the person he was today. Forming his scythe simultaneously blocking the halberd, he turned part way to speak,

"I'm so insulted that you would use the blunt end Illendrith, don't you have any faith in my skill?", he teased. This wasn't the first time they'd come to blows, in fact he's come to blows with almost everyone present. With a twirl of the scythe he returned them to their neutral stances. Although barely moments before they entered those stances he went in for a twin kick, once a spinning low roundhouse followed by a side kick at the end of the spin towards the chest, his scythe over his shoulder as he did. Following the kicks and mirroring the motions would be his magic, extending it's range and adding all the effects of his magic to it.

Odinn Wierike

Vega just didn't seem to understand the situation he was putting himself in. Confidence is one thing, but he was trying to make an enemy out of everyone including his own guild. It seemed ridiculous to Odinn. When he tried to headbutt the S-class mage he simply used his superior strength and leaned back away from it, seemingly uncaring for the chains that bound him. At this point Vega decided to free him, but it didn't matter either way. The chain was more of a weapon for Odinn if he felt like it. "Alright, you need to learn a thing or two about Luna Crescente," Odinn spoke up, rubbing his chin casually.

"For starters, you don't go walking around like you own the place. This is a peaceful, quiet town and I intend to keep it that way. As for the other thing, you need to learn that picking fights with mages from another guild is simply foolish." Odds are Vega might not even be listening, considering Illedrith started to intervene and the angry Golem's Hand mage seemed like the tunnel-vision type. "So when I say it's time to stop, it really is time to stop." For those who were familiar with Odinn they would recognize the anger in his voice as a telling sign to listen. He didn't often wave his authority around so the few times he got serious were the few times everyone would listen without question. He said 'stop' and he meant it.

But simply saying it wasn't enough. A powerful aura began to radiate from Odinn, one that could not be seen but certainly could be felt. It was his magic power leaking out, enough to even begin shaking the ground. It ceased after a few seconds, but in place of the strong magic presence was the sudden appearance of several Rifts. Several meters into the sky, Rifts began appearing haphazardly all above the street. They were all varying sizes and at varying angles but generally facing the street below. While they marred the sky in an ominous fashion nothing happened just yet. Odinn intentionally stayed his hand, as well as being sure to make them out of Vega's range in case he felt like trying to challenge Odinn again. "So are we all going to relax or do I have to end everything before either of our masters show up?" This was mainly directed towards Vega, but Odinn was clear that he wanted everyone to stand down.

Slashing in, Illedrith's halberd shone as it slashed up toward Vega. He didn't even seem to hesitate before turning to block her specifically rather than her mirror, and she cursed internally that she hadn't chosen a more symmetrical outfit for the day. Still, her short term plan seemed to be turning out fine, as Vega seemed to be focusing on her more than the rest of the guild, and she had no qualms with going toe to toe to him in close combat.

Utilizing the comparatively enormous distance created by the halberd attack, Illedrith took a step back and spun her halberd clear while drawing in a mirror in front of the roundhouse kick, which reflect the physical shock of the kick back at Vega before being wiped out by a wave of his negative magic. As to the second kick, it was so telegraphed that she had more than enough time to bring the rear head of her spinning halberd crashing down towards Vega's extending leg as she took a second step back to mirror his movements toward her.

It was then that she noticed the rifts opening all over the sky. Skipping backward, she dropped all pretense of offence, there was no longer any need. Her original plan had been to encase herself and Vega in a prison of mirrors and have both of them dropped out of town at the same time through the same rift, but if Odinn was planning on taking this fight seriously, she would simply support him in dealing with the situation. With both hands, she started forming mirrors, which flowed out from in front of her and moved into a tight ring around the combatants, breathing deeply as she channeled her magic into physical form.

As she looked across at Odinn who was now the other side of Vega to her and gave him a meaningful look.

"Vega, surely you can see you don't stand a chance here if we all have to get serious. Stand down before you get hurt, because I have no idea what's coming, but I guarantee you won't like it..."
