What's your idea?


Sorry for the wait on my response.

I think I've settled on a Midwestern Republic based out of the Chicago-Milwaukee area which also controls northern and central Illinois, southern Wisconsin, and the northwestern portion of Indiana. It would be a politically divided nation currently controlled by a right-wing, nationalist government who's main focus is improving the genetic quality of post-apocalyptic humanity through strict eugenic programs. The nation would be somewhat militaristic and possesses budding industry in the Chicago-Milwaukee area, but would be rather overextended recently. The Republic would be juggling the monumental tasks of restoring Chicago in particular, fighting a conflict with a feudal NPC faction out of St. Louis for control of central Illinois, maintaining genetic purity with poor and outdated medical capabilities, and creating settlements in the west.

I rewrote the middle section of my new post two different times and didn't like it. It was originally a lengthy scene with dialogue and such. I decided it would work better as a sort of "Yeah, this happened" section.
