Aya Kagamine

Home of the angry painter Aya

After falling face first into her bubble puddle, Ms Mecha Goku had kindly helped Aya onto her soaked knees. It felt… weird. The girl was clearly a robot designed to destroy villainous things and villainous people, yet she felt, well, human. Her touch was warm and freakishly fleshy, and it scared the living hell out of Aya. At the same time though, it was also quite fascinating. If this was what the nerds in her old high school classes were getting up to now, then Aya was falling further and further behind as a so called B-Class hero.

"You don't have to make the ramen. I'm really good at it, so I can go do it!"

And just like that, the teenage robot zoomed into the kitchen.

"Woah, wait up, I still need to–"

Another faulty step resulted in another slippery fall. Aya attempted to heave herself back up, although her painful back said otherwise.

Well, it didn't seem like the robot girl was going let anything stop her from making a bowl of ramen. Aya decided to let her do her business for now, especially seeing how pumped up she seemed about cooking. In the mean time, the woman might as well get on with her own thing while the mechanical heroine stirred up some lunch in the kitchen.

After changing into a simple black top, Aya entered her work place with quiet steps. Hand resting on her hip the woman stared down at the large, unfinished painting with a smile. From the computer in the corner of the vast room she grabbed her phone and let her music pour into her ears. It was only her and the singer's voice now, the headphones blocking her away from the real outside world.

Then, she began to spray.

Lying before me…

scene painted in green…

Red. Magenta. Purple. Bright flares of those sunset colours danced across the half empty canvas, painting an imaginary image only Aya could see. Like the rocking waves at a sea cliff's edge, the now flowing colours put the woman at peace, engulfing her tired body completely. A feeling of peace and tranquility washed over her, all until the chorus began to play.

Oh, raging wind…

go do your thing…

A shot of unexpected indigo and sandy brown.

Loneliness.

…and take me away out of this painted space…

Aya didn't really understand the lyrics, but that didn't matter. The song sounded good. Like, really good. All these mixed emotions the track would make her feel, make her paint… It was unbelievable, yet a little creepy. She was under a trance by this singer's voice, being hypnotised by the calming post-rock song.

About fifteen minutes later, Aya was almost finished. After doing all the background spraying and fiddling with some paint it seemed like the piece of art was coming together.

The silhouette of a woman reaching out to the blood coloured sky from the deep depths of dark blue was probably the first thing people would lay their eyes on. Overpowering purples would tower over the reddening sunset, signalling the day to come to an unwanted close. Still, the faceless woman painted in black stretched her arms out, willing to escape the dark and treacherous seas. Just those few streaks of red would be enough to break through her loneliness. A nice, warm red was all she needed. All she wanted.

Aya related to it a lot.

Sighing, the hungry heroine sat on her wooden floor cross legged, eyeing her nearly completed artwork. She wasn't in the mood to look back on her past, not at all. But the weight she felt in her chest made her want to smile and cry at the same time. Jeez, why did emotions have to be so complicated?

With a rather sullen look on her face, Aya stood up, taking her headphones off her ears.

It had to be noted the being held captive by hair was one of the most painful and stupid things to ever happen to Irene. Her return back to base would probably involve a display of power to remind them all why she was in charge. But Irene had to be free first, and more Heros only served to complicate matters. The ones on roof tops dropped back to ready their weapons out of the view of those on the ground. The ones in the crowds withdrew out of their respective groups to block escape routs and raised their weapons.

A man in a dark jacket began to approach Irene and the Heros on the beach. A loud boom was heard as one of the men fired off a shot into the ocean. The jacketed man pulled a small device out of his jacket and spoke into it. "Now that I have your attention, I am going to need you Heros to release my friend here and leave us alone when we leave, thanks. His voice had a certain cool charm to it like he was some in full control. " Oh! And by the way, some innocent blood will be spilled if you do follow us or fail to comply." The man spoke calmly, his normal facade of charismatic-speaker going in full force.

Radical X was about to leave when suddenly he heard a unfamiliar voice, he looked suddenly only to see that a man was standing near the white haired lady. When the other women was free from the hair restraints he heard the man say "Now that I have your attention, I am going to need you Heroes to release my friend here and leave us alone when we leave, thanks." He froze not wanting any one to be attacked on his accord until the sword wielding woman had left. Once the strange man and the sword wielding woman had left he patted the little girl on her head once and began to walk. He was going to find more crime to stop.

The Beach

As soon as Buster-Fist was finished with his sentence, when he suddenly heard several cracking of firearms coming from nearby.

"Incoming mates!" he shouts, "Take cover!"

He raises his left arm to cover his face as he tries to shield himself and the others as much as possible. However, one bullet was able to get past him and hit the hair that imprisoned Irene, whom was then released from that hairy situation. He then looks over to see some dark-jacketed men coming towards their direction. By pure instinct, Buster-Fist raises his fist and stands by on firing at them. If they attack them anymore, they will indeed get it. However, all they said was just a little ole' something.

"Now I am going to need you Heroes to leave us alone when we leave, thanks. And some innocent blood will be spilled if you do follow us. WE bid you farewell."

The two backed away slowly, one trying to maintain an air of control while the other hobbled slowly. Meanwhile, Irene was just cursing Alice out as she flees.

"This is not the last you heard of me! I will be back! And you won't be so lucky next time!" Her voice wavering slightly and cut off by almost tripping... but the point got across. The snipers faded into their buildings and left unnoticed and the ground guys backed to the town, going in all manner of directions as to not be followed back to base.

Despite this, Buster-Fist managed to take an internal snapshot as they got away, providing only a click that was heard from within the suit. Hopefully this will be some information that will help them in finding out who those guys are. Surely they were a group of terrorists, but what exactly? However, he knew better then to go straight after them, let alone fire on them from this angle. He lowers his arms as the palms die down and darken. She got away. However, on the bright side, he killed that croc monster and saved the beach from being terrorized by such a beast. He then lowers his helmet visor as he checks Alice to see if she's hurt in any way or form.

Manny Lane

It's Showtime...

Manny sipped on his straw and laughed. He played his smile and showed off his pearly whites; he was in a fantastic mood. It wasn't everyday he could company among friends and drink a Mocha Frappe. Cold drinks with his favorite people were among one of his favorite pastimes. He took another sip; Manny listened to his friends chatter and took drinks out of his coffee in between pauses. He wasn't putting much into the conversation since today he decided to just take in the normalcy.

Manny and his friends sat outside the coffee shop under a giant striped umbrella. It was about as cliche as it could become. The only thing missing was a marriage proposal at a nearby table. "Oh my god! Yes, a million times yes!" Manny had thought to soon when in the corner of his eye was a man kneeling down before his girlfriend. The girlfriend was hopping up and down in tears; it was truly something out of "The Notebook."

Manny listened to the woman's cries, the horns blaring in the street, and other people's conversations. He never liked the noise, it was just sound pollution to his ears. But after a while, he has come to enjoy the obnoxious sounds. When having a secret life, it's great to enjoy the simpler things. The hero coughed once he phone had rang a peculiar ringtone. Manny opened up his phone and his smile shrank to a closed one.

It was time for Manny to do his weekly deed; this was to prevent him from getting lazy and selfish. Lying to his friends, he told them it was work and hugged all of them goodbye. He snatched his backpack from under the table and went on his merry way. His companions waved at him as he walked away from the coffee shop. Once he was a good distance away, he slipped into a dark alley way. This way no one can see him become his "other-self." It was still broad daylight so he switched to his light, black jacket. He grabbed his hoodie by the two giant, gaping holes and held it over his head. Instantaneous, antlers popped out of his head and through the holes of the hoodie.

Black Antler

"It's showtime," he muttered as a white mist came from his breath.

Ken smirked.

"Try me!" Terror-Wing replied to the hero's taunt. The monster dashed forward, blasting a few more of the energy shots. Ken definitely couldn't afford to get hit again like he did when they traded blows. It was then that Ken noticed Usagi dropping a freaking fridge. Step two was about to form.

"Come on!" Ken shouted as himself ran forward. Ken slided under the shots and past Terror-Wing. As he began to pass behind, Ken got himself up off of the ground. Using the momentum, Ken twisted around, going for a left straight. If it connected, Terror-Wing would be knocked back directly under the fridge. If not, then Ken just wasted a lot of energy doing that.

Aya's Apartment

Humming a song she'd heard recently from an animated series that one of the scientists had shown her, Kiko set to work. The ingredients were all here, so she didn't have to worry about that. Not wishing to bother Aya again, she settled on making pork ramen. Most people seemed to like pork ramen. Kiko knew she certainly did, but then, the robot girl liked literally every kind of ramen that she'd ever tasted, so she supposed that wasn't particularly a unique circumstance. Still, she swiftly set about preparing the soup. Kiko was practiced at this after months of preparing all kinds of ramen, so it went rather well, and rather quickly. Certainly, a rather delicious smell would soon be emanating from the kitchen as the robotic girl prepared their meal.

Ahh, it always smelled so good... and there was easily enough for the both of them. Taking both bowls in her hands, Kiko quickly left the kitchen. There definitely wasn't enough energy left in her to fight, now... but there was certainly enough to make some delicious ramen! The blonde girl grinned cheerfully.

"It's ready!" she called.

Terror-Wing was fast with his shots, but unfortunately not that fast enough. The next thing he knew, Ken slided under the shots and past him and as the hero began to pass behind him and goes in for a straight left, connecting at the back of his head. This sent the monstrous creature reeling back at great speed. Yet at the last possible second, the Winged villain sees a fridge falling down at the corner of his eye. Using this momentum to his advantage, he twirls around, makes a low fly across the ground, and makes a sharp pull up, ultimately grabbing the fridge with his bare hands. He knew what was going on, for the support was coming from that little shell of a hero.

He then throws the fridge at the general direction where Kamen was at, as he looks devilishly at the hero. He can see him getting tired and tired, bit by bit. It seems as if he was weakening from all the stress he was putting up. Another hit from Terror-Wing and he might be risking getting KOed. The villain grins as he lands on the ground, looking dead at Ken's eyes with devilish eyes.

"Your weakening hero." he taunts as he slowly walks towards him, "Your getting tired... fatigued... exhausted... drained... its only a matter of time before you and that boy begin to drop like flies. Your hits hit hard, but not enough to take me outta this brawl. You two have put up quite a fight, one that I've been itching for awhile, but like all the rest, you've both failed in defeating me. It's gonna take much more than THIS to beat me. Now you better find a way to get out of this alleyway...

OR I'LL GRANT YOU BOTH A HERO'S DEATH!"

Alice Marlowe

This was, without a doubt, the single most pathetic specimen of humanity Alice had ever met. First random vandalism escalating to a risky fight and yet, when she lost, Irene had called on backup to threaten civilians. A centipede had more moral backbone than this nutjob--and yet there wasn't really much choice but to let her go. That wasn't to say that the white-haired girl was gentle about it; the feeling of hair slithering backwards over stab wounds before giving a push couldn't be pleasant.

Not seeing any reason to stick around, she started walking towards the crowd in general. What were these idiots going to do to stop her? The guns wouldn't work and any attempt to get in close would show that she was more than a pretty face. Letting someone like that go... it left a bad taste, and flooring one of her buddies would be fine by Alice.

For now, she was going to get dinner. They were welcome to try and stop her if they really wanted.

Kamen Usagi was unsure of what to do at this point, he was a bit low on supplies to toss down and he didn't exactly have anything else he could do... "Damn I hate this crap." He groaned and rubbed the back of his head, looking around... Well there was an Idea. He ran to kitchen cabinets and ripped them from the walls, it took some effort, but he got it. With that, he found the room above terror wing and threw the cabinet down as hard as he could... It wasn't much, but it was all he could do to buy Ken time.

Market District

The goons, being somewhat smarter than regular mooks and clad in stuff that made their survivability spike straight out of mook territory, reacted somewhat swiftly to the attacks- though their reactions ranged from doing a little jig for those confronted with the fire blasts and the ones being thrown objects at had to perform demented jumping jacks so as to not get hit. Still, some of them got through and yet another one went down after being beaned in the head by chunk of debris. "They got Tetsuo! You bastards!" Wails of camaraderie broke out as the other three glared at the hero, the two bigger ones getting on their knees to boost the jumping smaller one up into a terrifying overhead hammer smash directed at Psycho Spiral, though with his current offensive posture in midair and legs doing the split, it'd be a pretty tempting target for the guy to shoot below the belt as it were. He'd probably survive being hit there too thanks to the armor.

As for Sunshine, those armored goons decided for a high risk and high reward styled play as they linked arms together to form a solid human wall and all but outright attempted to bullrush the guy to stop his heckling at the source in a mad stampede that would indicate their attempting to tank the hits as their strategy. Luckily, they weren't all that smart and didn't realize that this also grouped them together so that it'd be easier to take them all out in one fell swoop if someone was creative enough to utilize this to ther advantage. Still, it was essentially a game of chicken and moving too slowly out of the way would result in being turned into a human panini. "CHAARRRRRRGGGGEEEEEEEEEE!" It was manly and brave, and quite a lot of stupid that held a high degree of danger for both sides.

Black Antler

"Bad choice, guys!" Black Antler had heard commotions and disturbances from the Market district. It was a bit weird to see a battle break out in the middle of the day; he had shrugged his shoulders at the thought since it has not been the strangest thing he has seen. The superhero knew immediately who the good and bad guys were.

It was not difficult to make the assumption. Most of the people fighting were dressed in ridiculous, bright costumes and there were only three of them. One was wearing an animal costume, one was decked out in a green jacket, and the other one wore light red colors along with a visor. They did not appeared to be the "evil" character types. Everyone else looked like to be goons or minions.

Black Antler descended from the rooftops he had utilized to arrive. He charged toward the human wall knowing he had the advantage. His antlers were ready to bash the human wall apart.

Aya Kagamine

Aya's Apartment

"It's ready!" a familiar voice called. Snapping out of her colourful dream world, Aya strode into the living room. The welcoming smell of pork ramen wafted though the air, and damn did it smell really fucking good. Her stomach would erupt if she didn't have any of that ramen right this second.

"Oh… Oh wow."

Aya gawked at the delicious steaming platter placed on her table, wiping away her drool as she did so. It was like something straight out of a weirdly well animated cartoon based around food; it looked way too good and much too tempting.

"Uh… Thanks for the food, then."

It had been a while since she'd had such a great bowl of ramen. After months of living on coffee, instant ramen and those really nice and squishy doughnuts from the corner shop, it was about time Aya feasted on something properly made and authentic. A rough afternoon called for a lovely bowl of hot and delicious ramen.

Things were getting a bit quiet while the two sipped on their food, so Aya decided to break the silence with some totally not awkward conversation.

"Oh, uh, by the way, I didn't really catch your name back there. I'm surprised I haven't even heard of a hero like you to be honest, since you can shoot big ass lasers from your hands and all. Are you, like, some really destructive robot that's been hidden from the rest of humanity to fight all those other monsters when they try to come and take over the world? Or are you some secret failed experiment that's actually really strong that's come to prove your worthy in front of some asshole scientists? Or a android that only has a limited amount of time left to live and has decided to make the use of their power, and also tries to act human to prove that machines can have feelings too? Or did something happen to you in the past causing you to offer your body to make you into a super strong robot?"

At this rate, Aya was just listing every single cliché to every single SciFi movie with a human-robot in it. But how was she supposed to know as to what sort of robot this girl was?

Then, the woman realised just how much she had been running her ramen filled mouth.

"Ah, shit, sorry. I was just, uh, you know, curious. If I like, hit a little robot nerve then I'm sorry."

She hadn't spoken that much to a complete stranger in a long time.

Evan 'Sunshine' Smiles

Market District - Bank

Eh?...

Evan was rather stunned by the goon's actions, more likely by their overwhelming masculinity. It was complete suicide for them to bum rush his inferno wall, don't they care about being burnt?! What he was witnessing was truly awe-inspiring, almost enough to cease his flames for them out of the kindness of his heart. That is until another hero arrived on the scene, oh deer!

Seeing the hero charge at the human wall reminded Evan that these manly knuckleheads were here to rob the bank. Not only that, but it gave him an idea for his next costume! Enough about that doe, Evan used this opportunity to dispel his inferno wall not wishing for the new arrival to be caught in it as well. It was time to be on the offensive!

I'm going to have to use one arm for this...

Both his legs and right arm were coated in solar energy, preparing to use his close ranged techniques. The instant his inferno wall went down, he used his pyrokinetic flight to make his way over to the opposite side of where the reindeer was charging. His flames ignited on his right arm when he got close to the goons and straightened out his arm towards them.

"Single Barrel Shotgun!"

Numerous pellet sized fireballs were shot out of his ignited arm while he flew by them, hoping to damage more than one target. Talk about a fly-by shooting. The poor goon closest to Evan (the one on the far end) was most likely to absorb most of the fireballs with his head while the amount decreased for the goons to follow.

Ah, ramen... If she had only been built able to eat one kind of food, it would be ramen! Kiko licked her lips as she dug in, sipping the delicious broth and tasting the noodles and meat and... ahh, she was so happy with it! She gave Aya a wide grin, pleased to see that her rame was going over well. Ah, this was the way you made friends even... friendlier! The robot girl sipped away at her soup for a while, idle thoughts about her impending recharge and how things would go next time she was on hero duty drifting through her mind. And that guy from before, with the robots... she'd have to stop him and make him some ramen, next time they met! That way he'd be detained and they'd be on their way to being friends! But for now, she was being friends with Aya.

... Who was talking about a whole bunch of potential origins for her. As the other girl listed off each one, Kiko found her mind slightly boggled. So many different possibilities, not one of which was actually the right answer... Kiko could almost feel her processors overheating thinking about all of them. Except not literally, but she did almost zone out for a moment. Kiko shook her head.

"Eh-heh, um..." she trailed off for a few moments. "... I was made about... eight months ago now, I think! I'm the newest super-human-like robot, they made me as accurate as possible and then filled me up with all kinds of weapons, so that's why I'm a hero!"

”AAAAAAAAAAAA—“ was Hiroshi’s first internal and external reaction to the brute coming down on him. This whole thing was getting too hot for him… It was just supposed to be a simple bank robbery, he can probably handle that! But these guys… These are the sort of guys dedicated fighters are supposed to take care of. The kind of guys that can actually take a punch! “This is no place for a D-Class…” he thought to himself. He wanted to move, but his legs just didn’t want to cooperate with him. All that’s left was fight or die.

He gulped and curled his fists up tight, mentally gripping a few more chunks of leftover concrete. Yeah, dying wasn’t an option, and he sure as hell wasn’t gonna let it end here! While still screaming at the top of his lungs he thrust his fists up at the armored robber, sending the debris rocketing straight at the best possible place that could possibly offset his balance… His nuts. If there’s one thing he’s learned about surviving fights, it was fighting dirty!

Goon Squad At the Bank

"Gubo!" The airborne mook almost seemed to have floated in the air for a moment as the rubble sped towards his family jewels and all but slammed home. If it weren't for the armored materials protecting him there then successive generations of Goon A Sr. would have been snuffed out. Still, the impact was more than enough to send a deep spike of pain in that most vulnerable of areas, causing the man to tumble drunkenly to the side and collapse in a heap with foam bubbling out of his mouth and the whites of his eyes showing even as his body twitched. "...Low blow, hero!" The two other mooks said with half anger and half fear. Those two decided to stay far away, one hand covering their crotches with the other ones reaching down to pick up rubble to throw back at Hiroshi with augmented strength. "Die, homewrecker scum!"

The human wall certainly didn't expect to met with a deer man out of a blue, that was for sure. In fact, the newest hero's antlers seemed to be the natural enemy of their formation! The antlers were wide and sturdy enough to block them and slow them down while some of the pointy parts were enough to jab into their uncovered faces to inflict pain and suffering. "Guobo?!" Unfortunately, their momentum while stifled was still steady due to their augmented physical prowess and the fact that it was four against one so the newcomer would actually find himself be carried by the muscular grunts as they stumbled to and fro like a mad bull, shaking him up and down frenziedly in their now blinded charge. The energy pellets would only serve to prod the men even more to rampage wildly around even as one goon took the brunt of the blast and had his suit forcibly shut down in a fit of sparks and vented steam, essentially becoming dead weight. If it wasn't for the fact their teetertottering was leaving deep imprints and furrows in the concrete, the sight would have been funny.

…Did it work? Hiroshi blanked out after he sent the rocks flying, and only came back to Earth after the goon came back as well. It took a few moments for him to register that it did in fact work! After a brief pause Hiroshi started laughing it up, pointing condescendingly at the fallen mook, “Hahahahahah! It really worked! Oh man, that’s what you get for trying to turn me into paste you… You ne’er-do-wells!

The light in Hiroshi’s heart went off again as he remembered what he associated bank robbers with. He was still a little shaky from avoiding being turned into paint on the sidewalk, but he got back up to his feet and pointed at the remaining Mooks B and C. “I believe I am entitled to these “low blows-” he declared, “When you are trying to HARM a YOUNGSTER such as myself! It’s downright hypocritical to say I cannot even the playing field when skirmishing with armored adults! Fight someone your own size and some such!”

He felt like he had the high ground with them scared like chickens over there. As such, he struck a threatening pose at them and mentally gripped his yo-yo and one of the balls. “Now then… Surrender! Or I will be forced to use even more low atta— AH-HAH!!!” His threat was cut short as he barely dodged the rubble that was sent flying his way.

“You… I-I warned you!” He clenched his fists and raised the ball and yo-yo up, making them spin at high speeds. “Now! Eat my… Uh… Ps-Psycho! Uh! Kan- KANCHOOOOOO! He just made up the name, admittedly, but as the name implied he made a pulling back motion and shot the objects flying straight… Towards their assholes. The likelihood of it actually hitting there was likely low, but it was worth a shot!

Whoever it was, they'd gone now... And Reika had to help the other heroes. They were registered, weren't they? ... Taking a deep breath, she used her hoverskates to jet towards the power armored foes. Several were caught up with an antlered hero, but it looked like things were turning against him quickly... putting on an extra burst of power, she raised up further into the air, performing a rapid jump upwards before descending just as quickly, dropping down in a bid to slam one of her fists into the side of one unprotected head and knock one of the men out cold.

Black Antler

Market Distric

The reindeer hero appeared to have some damage, but he did not account for the cumulative strength of everyone. One by one he could crush them, but together their strength succeeded his own. It was humiliating to say the least that his attack wasn't super effective and he was now being pushed like a rag doll. He was stuck a bit; however, he did try his best to hold his ground.

As the human wall proceeded, Black's knees and legs were being scraped along the concrete. He found himself in a predicament since he had no intention of being trampled on. Utilizing his legs, he jerked his head back to get his antlers out of the way. His next step was to utilize his strong legs to leap out of the enemies's direction.

Given they were a wall, it was probably difficult for them to turn. With the few seconds he managed to separate from the crooks, he used his knees on the pavement to give himself enough of a jump to the side. Black Antler managed to jump to the side and ended the leap with a roll.
