Crash's grin grew as Lily laughed softly, he figured he wasn't the only one who'd changed...though he did notice how outwardly Lily hadn't really changed that much if at all.
"That's a relief to hear then" He added in
"I can't speak for everyone...but I don't mind that. I'm not here just for the credits"The shapeshifter noticed Lily freeze up by didn't comment on it, he did however shiver quite visibly as she mentioned Kiwi. He would be lying if he said he didn't feel a little safer knowing that Kiwi wasn't at the academy.
"Old fashion medicines huh?" He commented despite her feelings on the matter, Crash seemed genuinely impressed.
"Have you been studying medicine alongside your job here?" He asked curiously, briefly looking out over the garden around them as he waited for her answer.
He turned back to look at her as she spoke,
"Maybe it's because it's who you are. I don't think it's entirely your heritage...I think its you. You're a healer through and through, its in your heart and your soul" He lifted his hand to his neck though he didn't look confused or embarrassed.
"That's what I think...anyway" He grinned at her. And like the flip of a switch the serious edge left his face and he was back to his awkward self.
"Besides, isn't there a famous quote...erm...something like there's knowledge in knowing who you are and doing what you're meant to" He added as a red tint settled in his cheeks and nervous energy joined the chaotic mixture within him.
The angel's next question threw him off guard however, there was a noticeable delay in his answer as he reached up to touch his forehead.
"I-I haven't come across anyone I recognise..." He didn't quite get the 'yet' out but it almost hung in the air.
"Walk with me?" Crash asked, moving off a few steps to see if Lily would walk with him, if she did he slowly headed towards the hallways, if not he simply stayed where he was.
Either way the smile on his face seemed to falter and a frown took its place, he seemed to be battling something on the inside. Luckily in true Crash fashion it was a mighty quick battle and before an awkward silence could descend he asked
"Just out of curiosity..." He left a pause as he rubbed the back of his neck
"W-who else is here exactly?" A small smile crept onto his face and he tried to appear as relaxed as possible but he found himself rather nervous about her response.
Rain didn't notice that the girl in front of her had been trying to speak, whilst she gabbled through questions. She should have...given where she was from but it appeared that in her desperation to make an impression, she simply forgot to pay attention.
As Aurelia politely answered her question, Rain quietly sighed in relief and retracted her hand when Aurelia bowed again.
'...maybe they bow instead of shake hands now...' The werewolf thought to herself as she watched the black haired girl look back down at the floor
"Nice to meet you as well...Aurelia" 'Hand shaking I can just about handle...bowing is a whole other thing' she thought with a bristle of arrogance. She didn't bow to anyone.
Rain looked taken aback as Aurelia looked up at her and answered her original question. She smiled gratefully at the shy girl, feeling a little more confident. Though as an awkward silence fell between them, Rain felt the pressure return.
'Crap...I'm talking to a human that doesn't like to talk...of all the' She thought lifting a hand up to sweep a long tendril of hair behind her ear.
'Okay think...what would be an interesting thing to say that doesn't involve blood or hunting'Luckily for her she didn't have to think of anything. The werewolf looked past Aurelia at the newcomer as she came to stand with them lifting an eyebrow at the smile Ara gave them, her eyes flickered across Ara's face questioning the sincerity of it.
'Traffic? What an odd word' She thought turning to look at the students weaving around them
"We should probably move" She agreed glancing at Aurelia before back at Ara wondering if this was a good time to introduce herself again. She had the feeling, words would come easier if the other woman accompanied them.
Ara quite clearly didn't have trouble finding words, if anything they flowed naturally off of her tongue. Though the werewolf was unable to pick up much for her body language shy of what knowingly displayed.
'This is going to take some getting used to' She thought as she tried to process everything that Ara said.
"Make an impression and no-one will forget you" She said matter of factly, of course she wasn't aware of Ara's situation.
"There's a strange man introducing himself...as you...and you want us to slap him?" She frowned at Ara clearly confused by the concept.
'A slap? They slap people here? No blood, no glory...just a tickle to the cheek and on your way' "That...is a new one on me" She decided after a while though she looked a little unsatisfied by her words and for a moment looked as if she was going to say something else...but then decided against it.
"Well since we're doing a poor job at being an obstacle, would you like to walk together to the auditorium?" She asked Aurelia before turning to Ara
"If you're heading that way?"
