Yoshino visibly jumped in place when Retsu walked into the restroom, casting wild eyes on the other girl. She had locked the door, right? Right? Or had she been so desperate to hide her lack of control that she had forgot even that detail? Without a word, Yoshino snatched the handkerchief and used it to dry her glasses. Slowly her panic began to lower anew and she could finally manage out real words.

"Yes...Yes I'm fine. It's nothing to worry about Retsu," she said, though her eyes did not meet the other girl's directly. "It's fine; what's done is done. Has everyone else left the area? That's all that matters at this point...really Retsu, I'm fine. It wasn't the blood it was just....I said I'm fine...."

Retsu shook her head, a meaningless gesture since Yoshino wasn't looking at her. "Everyone is leaving now, but... You're not alright. I know it was quite shocking... It wasn't easy my first time either." Retsu was of course assuming that Yoshino had never been close to a brawl before. Retsu didn't fight as much as her brother did either, but that didn't mean she didn't know about it. Unlike him, Retsu does her best to keep her hands cleaned, but that doesn't mean she's never made fights happen.

"First, let's get out of here. We can talk about what happened somewhere more... Comfortable." The bathroom was not the most appropriate place to have a serious talk.

"I said I was fine!" Yoshino said sharply in an angry outburst. No sooner did the words come out of her mouth did she stop herself, shaky hands rising to adjust her glasses. Retsu had a point, as always. Whatever the case may be, they couldn't talk here; so the Student President allowed the other girl to lead her away.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you," she murmured, just as the cops began to show up finally. By then the two girls were already some miles away from the pizza joint. At some point Yoshino began to unconsciously lead the way, her feet carrying her to her dorm room on campus. Only when she reached for the door knob did she stop and look at Retsu, wondering why she was still here.

"You don't have to look after me Retsu. I can handle myself," Yoshino said wearily. It was more for the fact that it wasn't in their contract for Retsu to get involved in Yoshino's personal matters and the Student President didn't want to think about paying Retsu for her services at the moment.

Crossing her arms, Retsu looked to the side, deep in thought. Professionally, Retsu should respect Yoshino's desire to handle these things herself. If she didn't want her help, then Retsu could leave. But on a more personal level... Retsu couldn't leave this girl alone. "... So you say, Tsugumi-san. Forgive me however, because I'm still concerned about you. Off the books, I feel responsible for what happened. Not with Asahi being an idiot, but for you nearly getting hurt."

Retsu didn't look at Yoshino when she said this. She wasn't sure why she felt this way. The reason she felt so annoyed at Asahi wasn't for getting into fights, but for endangering Yoshino. Perhaps it was because Retsu needed Yoshino for Deep Ground was why she was so protective. At least that's how Retsu justified it. Her words... Didn't exactly match up. "I want to make sure you have someone to talk to, about what happened. And perhaps explain to Yuuno what happened. You may not be hurt physically, but I'm more concerned about... About how you're feeling." This was kinda awkward.

Yoshino looked at Retsu incredulously. Why did Retsu, no, Dark Wraith care about her? More importantly, why was she letting her into her dorm, as if this somehow felt right? Closing the door behind her, Yoshino turned on some lights and sat on her couch, releasing a sigh. She played with her glasses again, still not meeting Retsu's gaze; at this point, both girls were acting quite strange.

"Yes, I suppose it makes sense for you to be concerned. I am your employer...yes, it makes sense. How I'm feeling? I'm feeling scared, cornered...but it'll pass. It always does. I'll make sure to send Yuuno a message tomorrow morning...why do you even care about what I'm telling you right now? You don't seem the sentimental type."

Retsu took a seat in Yoshino's dorm, making sure to take off her shoes so she didn't leave marks on her floor. Once seated Retsu could only look at her hands, thinking about what she was doing. Yoshino raised a few good points: Why did Retsu care? If anything letting Yoshino mentally break down would allow a smoother transition of power from herself to Dark Wraith. But perhaps that was because what Dark Wraith wants isn't exactly what Retsu wants.

"... Perhaps. But I'm not completely heartless. Pragmatically speaking, I need to make sure you're in the proper state of mind if I want to be able to rely on you and Moon Rider. But on a more personal note? I... Feel... Concerned." Those words were hard for Retsu to push out, as if she wasn't saying what she wanted to say. Giving a brief pause to let her words sink in and for Retsu to figure out what she was trying to say, she continued.

"If there is a problem, I want to be able to solve it. I dislike the idea that someone who is... Important... Is in distress, and I can't do anything about it. It's not something I will just ignore. And I know too well how sentimentality can affect one's ability. We're not machines, Tsugumi-san. We have feelings and emotions too, and to make sure we're at our best, we have to take care of them." Despite her talk of emotions, Retsu's voice seemed rather monotonous. It was as if she wasn't familiar with what she was talking about either. Or rather, she doesn't talk about it enough.

"You...You're concerned about me?" Yoshino questioned, for once looking up at the other girl. Of course Retsu's tone of voice said otherwise but the Student President could imagine how it must have felt for the other girl to admit such a thing. So she didn't push it forward, once more looking down.

"Even so, I can tell that you're trying and that your heart is in the right place. I never did thank you for saving me, did I?" Yoshino continued, trying to manage a smile. "I probably would have ended up with more wounds if it wasn't for you Retsu..."

Retsu smiled at Yoshino's compliment. Not to ruffle her own feathers, but she was glad that Yoshino recognized her efforts. Looking out the window, it was getting dark. There was still a bit of sun left on the horizon, but if Retsu had to guess in about ten to twenty minutes, it'd be night time. "I wouldn't think of it like that. I'm sure someone would have stepped in to help you. I was just the first one to do so."

But Retsu didn't come here to talk about herself. Glancing at Yoshino, Retsu tried to get a read on her person. Try to understand how Yoshino was doing. "But what about you? You seemed rather shaken up at the fight. He... Didn't do anything to you, did he?" Retsu was pretty sure she got him before he could have done anything, but she can't be entirely sure. It all happened rather fast.

When Retsu glanced at her, Yoshino instinctively turned away, a tell-tale sign of her failure and weakness. Gripping her hands on her lap, she frowned as Retsu got right to the core of the issue. She couldn't very well keep this secret for long and if Retsu really wanted to help her...

"I have...scopophobia," she said bluntly, letting the implications of that word sink in. "It means I...have an unnatural fear of being stared at. More specifically, when people look me in the eye. When that boy attacked me, I didn't much care for how strong he was. But then he looked at me and...and then I just froze up and...I d-didn't know what to do," Yoshino said, her voice slightly cracking. Her heart began to beat faster at that recent memory, the edges of another panic attack threatening to overcome her.

Almost immediately Retsu turned her eyes away, though she couldn't help nbut sneak glances at Yoshino. It must be quite awkward for Yoshino to suffer from such a phobia, more so since she's the student counsel president. Either her phobia isn't that bad, or she's much stronger then she first appears. Retsu assumes the latter. But it would explain why she was so shaken up when that boy attacked her. This wasn't really something Retsu knew how to handle; she was more used to physical injuries, with subsequent psychological issues from being hit. Stuff like Yoshino's phobia was beyond her ability, and it made Retsu a bit angry knowing how useless she was at the subject.

"Oh. I'm.... That's bad to hear. It must be hard for you, what with being the student president and all. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Does it look like you can do anything?" Yoshino responded with more bitterness than she had intended. "S...Sorry. I shouldn't keep snapping at you. My phobia is the whole reason why I even wear these stupid glasses," she hissed, half-tempted to rip them off and chuck them across the room. "And it's all her fault. She...She did this to me and I...I can't...it's just too much Retsu."

The strong front Yoshino had been putting up for all this time was finally cracking more and more, her own insecurities slipping out. She wrapped her arms around herself, her heartbeat increasing more and more. It was her fault. She was the one who broke off, who decided they were little more than acquaintances. And for what? For something that was beyond Yoshino's control?

Keeping her cool, Retsu didn't feel angry at Yoshino snapping at her. She understood she was frustrated and that Retsu was going to need to weather through the storm. There wasn't much she could do until she learned more however. So at the risk of causing a lot of pain and suffering, Retsu moved seats to be next to Yoshino. "Tell me about it, Yoshino-san. I... I'm here to help you. Even if all I can do is shoulder your burden with you."

Yoshino found herself nodding without much struggle, barely catching the fact that Retsu had used her first name. She took a few long moments to catch her breath, building up her defensive wall once more and keeping calm. Retsu probably wouldn't appreciate her whining.

"Kuroke Chiyo. My...half-sister. We used to be quite fond of each other. We used to...do things with one another. And we used to care about each other quite alot. This was before we had even realized we were blood related. By as it turned out, my father used to be married to her mother and...while I saw it as an opportunity to get closer, Ch-...Kuroke-san blamed me for stealing her father."

Now this was something that Retsu knew well. Granted she never had such feelings her her half-brother, but... In a way, she did feel that Asahi's birth stole any importance Retsu could have had with her own father. If Asahi wasn't born, if her father wasn't such a womanizer, maybe Retsu would have grown up to be like this. So in a way Retsu could understand Chiyo's anger, but at the same time, it was unreasonable. They were just kids. What could they really do?

"I... I understand. Sort of like be and Asahi... It'd certainly explain the way she treated me, when I fought her in Deep Ground. But what exactly did she do?"

"What do you think she did?"

The answer didn't need to be said, read clearly through Yoshino's expression. She stared right at Retsu before looking away in fear and shame. The implications of such still made her uncomfortable but even someone like Retsu could put the pieces together.

"She didn't do it herself. She hates to get her hands dirty you know. She...got some random guys together. They followed me to my dorm, made me go a different way and...in the alleyway, I just saw her. Staring right back at me and...she didn't even care...god I'm so weak," Yoshino whispered, trembling all over as the memories began to resurface.

"I couldn't say anything. As Student President how could I? I had to keep going for Moon Rider and myself. And Chiyo knew that..."

Retsu stayed solemnly quiet. She could imagine what might have happened, and it hurt her to think there was nothing she could do about it... Right now. For a long while, Retsu couldn't say anything. She didn't know what she could say to Yoshino to help. All Retsu knew was that she would have sought vengeance in some way. Make Chiyo disappear. But Yoshino wasn't like Retsu, and her solution... May not help. Maybe.

"I'm sorry. That's horrible. And... It's not your fault. You aren't weak Yoshino. You were just alone. Chiyo... She knew that no one would have come to your aid. And you've been taking on this burden all by yourself for so long. That's why... People like you and me, I want to help. So that way we aren't alone, and have to face these challenges ourselves anymore." Retsu couldn't believe what she was saying. She sounded like some sort of shonen protagonist going on about the power of friendship. It was stupid, but Retsu wasn't going to admit it was also something she wanted. She has minions of her own, but none who she could call her friends or equals.

Yoshino was silent, listening to Retsu's words intently. For someone that had kept this a secret for so long with no one else to rely on, it felt good to finally admit it. She may have disagreed about her being strong-if she was truly strong, she would have conquered her phobia by now-but at least it felt refreshing to rely on someone else for once.

"Thank you Retsu. I'm not even sure why I'm telling you all this," Yoshino said, blinking and realizing how she must look with red and wet eyes. "If...If you want...I mean, if you would like...you can stay here for the night. I don't usually do much on school nights seeing as I live here by myself..."

Suddenly, Retsu hand out her handkerchief to Yoshino (A different one since Yoshino gave back her first one). As for Yoshino's offer, Retsu hesitated. She was still in her fancy dress, and as comfortable as it was, if she was going to sleep over she'd need to get her pajamas, a change of clothes, at her uniform as well. But Retsu wanted to stay. "Sure. yeah, that'll be fine. Though... I need to get a change of clothes and stuff, and I do have a few things I need to do for Moon Rider, you now." Retsu felt a bit nervous getting this close to Yoshino. She was willing to listen to her problems, but she wasn't sure what was going to happen if she actually stayed in her dorm. Surely it'd be nothing. They were both girls after all.

Yoshino accepted the new handkerchief gratefully, removing her glasses and drying her eyes with them. She nodded to Retsu's requests, saying, "I have some spare uniforms and pajamas if you don't feel like going back out. It's supposed to be cold tonight."

Whatever underlying subtext there was supposed to be in them staying together for the night, Yoshino was unaware of it. Bit by bit the weak shell that had confided in Retsu just moments before was being rebuilt into the image of the stoic Student President. As far as she saw it, Retsu was simply here to conduct business between her and Moon Rider.

"Wearing Yoshino's clothes... What have you done, Retsu?"

Sighing, Retsu supposed that she would accept. It's not as if they were sharing underwear or anything like that. And Retsu's outfit wasn't very well insulated against the cold. Putting those dirty thoughts aside, Retsu figured that now was a good time to wash up. She felt her stomach finish it's business with her pizza, so Retsu requested to use the bathroom first.

Smiling, Yoshino directed Retsu over to the bathroom while heading to her own bedroom and fetching some spare pajamas the other girl could fit in. However, upon walking into her room, she soon realized that....well, she only had one bed to share. The shadow of a blush on her cheeks, she adjusted her glasses before finding some black pants and a purple t-shirt.

Granted it was near-identical to her own pajamas since Yoshino really didn't spend much. Since Chiyo had left her life, she had thrown the other girl's things away or rid herself of them through other means. Frowning in anger at the reminder of her own sob story, Yoshino walked back to the living room.

"I'll leave your clothes outside," she called out to Retsu, stopping by and placing the pajamas outside the bathroom.

"Thank you!" Retsu shouted from the toilet. Once she was comfortably relieved Retsu turned and looked at the bath. She was tempted to get the bath ready and take the first dip, but that seemed... Rude. But surely they both needed to path. So after washing her hands and changing into Yoshino's pajamas, she started the bath. She wasn't sure how Yoshino liked it, so she used hot water and waited until the water filled about 60% of the tub. Once she was finished Retsu went out of the bathroom looking for Yoshino. "The bath is ready. Would you like to go in first?"

"Er huh? But Retsu, I don't need...." Yoshino said, voice trailing off. Then again Retsu had gone through the trouble of preparing her bath and she couldn't well just deny that act of kindness. Still, she did think Retsu was trying too much to prove something here and she opened her mouth to assure the other girl that she didn't need to. But no words came out and she merely nodded, removing her party dress. In no time she was bare, slipping into the bath as a gentle sigh escaped from how warm it felt.

After Yoshino left to take a bath, Retsu helped herself to a cup of water. Getting a tall glass, she filled it to nearly the brim and drained it just as fast, cleaned the cup, and put it away. Then Retsu went and saw at Yoshino's couch feeling a bit tired. She had eaten quite a full meal, punched out a random thug, and ran all the way to the dorms. So of course she was feeling a bit pooped. However she still needed to attend to development in Deep Ground. Last she checked, many Ebon Strykers have gone out to hunt the Corpse Collector, but so far they've had no luck.

As Retsu was checking her messages, she looked down at the pajamas that Yoshino gave her. These were... Yoshino's clothing. Clean... Right? Lifting the shirt up to her nose, Retsu took a sniff before looking around, making sure that Yoshino didn't see her. "...What am I doing?"

"Retsu I'm back-....what were you doing?"

Time must have flew by because soon enough Yoshino was back from her bath. Simple pants and a black t-shirt served as her pajamas, a towel still drying her long hair. She blinked as her gaze moved from first Retsu, to her pajamas, and then to Retsu again. The Student President had only caught a glimpse of what she thought was Retsu sniffing her clothes but....surely that couldn't be the case.

"They're fine, I just had a runny nose is all. Tends to happen when I'm cold."

Retsu said flawlessly, using her quick thinking and deadpan delivery in order to conceal her lie. Fortunately Retsu had smelled Yoshino's shirt instead of say, the pants, so it may seem somewhat believable. Avoiding the subject further Retsu stood up and headed to the bathroom. "If you're done, mind if I take a bath next? I know I already changed and all, but I'd like to freshen up a bit before I log into Deep Ground, you know?"

"Uh, sure? I mean that's up to you...anyway, the bath is free. While you're doing that, I'll set up the bedding arrangements. Sorry about this, but I only have one so...maybe you could sleep in with me to keep me warm, you know~?"

Yoshino grinned at the other girl mischiveously before chuckling with, "Relax, I'm just kidding. Anyway, I'll get the futon out so you can sleep in something more comfortable tonight. The couch can only be soft for so long. Unless you want to sleep in my bed and I sleep on the futon?"

Caught off guard, Retsu's face was as red as her hair. Did Yoshino really just suggest... That they sleep together? Surely she only met in a platonic way, perhaps, but they would still be in the same bed, under the same sheets, sharing each others body heat. Retsu had plenty of boys make crude remarks for sex and she always ignored them like the pest they are, but for Yoshino do to the same... Was she really just joking or was it a true proposal?

Even after Yoshino admitted to the joke, she was going to bring a futon out for her instead. It made more sense, but Retsu's mind was a bit scrambled from Yoshino's initial statement. "I... Will... GotakemybathrightnowI'llbeoutsoonyoucanhavethebedthankyou!" And like that Retsu went from standing in front of Yoshino and inside her bathroom, leaning against the door. Why was she feeling so... Silly? "It's just Yoshino. She's my boss... No, my partn- No! Ally! She's my ally. Nothing more. Nothing less..." Retsu said quietly to herself.

Trying to move on from the awkwardness Retsu began to strip out of the pajamas given to her, folding them neatly on the bathroom counter. She was tempted to take another sniff, but now that she thought of it there was already an aroma here. She turned and looked at the tub and noticed that it was still full. "Yoshino's... Bath water..." Gulping, Retsu walked over to the tub. The water was still warm, and Yoshino's scent wafted from the steam. It was a pleasant yet bitter smell. Like fond memories of better days gone past. Retsu put her toe into the water, shaking at the warmth, but soon submerged her whole body, trying to resist the intial pain of her fairly chilly body going into the warm bath.Several minutes passed before a soft knock was on the door. A moment or two passed and Yoshino slowly walked into the bathroom, a fresh set of towels in her arm.

"Oh you're still bathing! Sorry Retsu," Yoshino said with surprise, wondering what Retsu was doing for the last hour or so....an hour? Had it really been that long? So much for a few minutes. Even so, it was still early in the night and tomorrow was a Saturday so getting up for school wouldn't be an issue.

"I just remembered that you needed some fresh towels so I brought you some," Yoshino said, completely ignoring the fact that Retsu was stark naked and in her bath using her water. However she soon caught herself staring at the other girl, a look of amazement on her face before saying, "Retsu you...you really are strong aren't you? I wasn't aware that you had so many muscles...I suppose it makes sense with the line of work you do."

Retsu nearly jumped. "I thought I locked the door!?" Retsu also didn't realized that she dozed off in the bath. She started to get up and reached for a towel which she didn't have. She thought she could take one out from the closet, but evidently Yoshino just came in with the only towels available. Not only that but when Retsu moved to grab the nonexistent towel, she exposed her body to Yoshino, who commented on her musculature.

"I, uh.... It's nothing.... Can I have a towel please?" Retsu said quietly as she lowered her body into the bath, trying to hide her features from Yoshino. While Retsu did have a fairly toned set of muscles on her arms and hands, she didn't like exposing them. They felt... Too obvious to her. As unrealistic as it was, she actually wanted to keep a fairly waifish figure, but also keeping her strength as well. Not to mention that when Retsu did expose herself to Yoshino for a short duration, she also showed the student president her... Mature chest. While not quite as ridiculous as some anime depictions, Retsu still had a set of breast that would attract many boys if she ever bothered showing off those assets instead of keeping them fairly well hidden.

Yoshino blinked in confusion before smiling gently at the other girl. The Student President wasn't as cold as people made her out to be and like Retsu had said earlier, she was much more complex than that. Nodding, she handed a warm towel over to the red-headed girl before moving away and out of the bathroom.

"You know there's nothing to be ashamed of Retsu. We're both girls here so it's fine. I...sort of like your body. I mean, you can take that as you will, but I mean it sort of reminds of of my client and how strong she is. I could never be as strong physically," Yoshino admitted with a nervous laugh, speaking her own weaknesses. "Anyway, the futon is almost ready so feel free to come out when you want to."

Retsu could only grunt in agreement as she waited for Yoshino to leave the bathroom. Once she was out and the door was closed she whispered to herself. "... Stupid sexy Yoshino..."

Eventually Retsu was out of the bath and dressed. Her hair still needed drying but everything else about her was washed up. Retsu headed to the living room to find the Futon, but noticed that there was nothing there. Yoshino wasn't there either. So Retsu went to Yoshino's room, wondering if maybe she needed help.

Retsu would find Yoshino lying on her floor, as if she had been lying there for quite some time. The futon looked like it was half-made, having somehow ended up on top of the Student President who was currently half-dazed at the moment.

"Tsugumi-san?" Retsu had guessed from the student president's current position that she must have bumped her head while preparing the futon. Which seemed... Oddly stupid of Yoshino. Retsu stiffed a giggle and instead of poking fun at the girl, she simply helped set up the futon for herself, leaving Yoshino on the floor. Now it was Retsu's turn to act cooler then Yoshino. Sitting on Yoshino's bed Retsu waited for Yoshino to wake up so she could snidely poke fun at how she was knocked out by falling futons.

"Hmm...wha..?"

Blinking, Yoshino got up on shaky legs and looked around...only to see Retsu sitting on her bed with a smug smirk. She then looked over to the now set up futon and frowned, adjusting her glasses firmly onto her face.

"And what's that look for Retsu?" Yoshino asked with more than a little suspicion.

"You got knocked out by the futon." Retsu chuckled at Yoshino as she laid back on her bed. It was quite comfortable, for some reason more so than Retsu's own. Then again she's just using the standard issue mattress given to all the students. Most likely Yoshino has a special one or something. "Anyways... I need to head to Deep Ground. If possible, do you think you could ask Moon Rider to come on? There are matters I must discuss with her about the current state of affairs."

"I was? I don't remember...." Yoshino said with a faded voice, rubbing the back of her head. Honestly she didn't remember but she couldn't really remember what did happen otherwise. Regardless, maybe it was just a random brain fart. Weird. Her attention drawn away from that briefly, she frowned to the mention of her client.

"Must you do it right now? I mean...I suppose I can bother her if she's not too busy. Even Moon Rider has to have a life outside of DGO," Yoshino pointed out, shuffling out of the room and towards the small hallway.

"As soon as possible really. And you're the only person whom I can contact Moon Rider directly. She doesn't exactly pick up my E-mails." That wasn't entirely true: She never sent Moon Rider an E-mail before. But regardless she seemed more elusive then Retsu was. Of course... There was also the sneaking suspicion that Yoshino herself was Moon Rider. That possibility was never out of the question since day one. Retsu was half hoping that perhaps she could verify the truth here and now. But that was a secondary objective: Retsu really did have some important business to handle in Deep Ground, with or without Moon Rider. Hopefully Yoshino didn't want to spend all night talking, because Retsu had work to do.

Yoshino adjusted her glasses, not sure how things would play out. She did not want to reveal her specific relationship with the Black King quite yet so she made sure to lock herself in the guest room; such were the perks of being Student President. A few minutes later and Moon Rider was contacted, waiting for Dark Wraith on her throne in Ebony Stryker territory.

Retsu waited for Yoshino to come back, but she never did. Perhaps Retsu managed to fluster her? Or perhaps... She was Moon Rider, and didn't want Retsu near her while she was vulnerable. An understandable tactics. "Alright. Enough playing school girl. Let's get down to business." Helping herself to Yoshino's comfortable bed, Retsu laid back and logged into Deep Ground.

Welcome, Dark Wraith

Now as Dark Wraith, she was back in the Black City. She was near the location where Moon Rider had given her speech to the Ebon Strykers, and in Dark Wraith's mailbox was a message from various Sweepers and Erasers. Most of it were just status updates on the development of the Black City. The walls have been refurbished and defensive turrents have been made. This time if any big dissolution monster decides to attack, they'd find it much harder to break in and rampage the city. However many buildings still needed to be repaired, and there were small conflicts of interest regarding ownership and construction. Some people wanted to create a bar, others an arena, some wanted a facility to help treat the wounded and others wanted a trade hub. Bureaucratic nonsense.

Dark Wraith could consult with them later. Right now her mind was on other things. Corpse Collector for one, and how exactly Moon Rider plans to elevate someone to level 9 if they capture her. That's what had been annoying Dark Wraith the most. So she headed off to the Ebon Stryker's throne room, where she's most likely going to find Moon Rider.

Before long, Moon Rider heard the soft thuds of boots along the ground, the presence of Dark Wraith reaching her. She nodded at her Deputy, beckoning her to stand before her while the massive doors closed behind them. With them sealed, the King's domain was inaccessible from other Players, insuring they had privacy.

"Now then Dark Wraith. What was it that mattered so much you had to bother my spokesperson? If it's about the promise of bringing someone to the level of a King, I've already figured some things out. There are quite a few rare items in Deep Ground...for the right price."

"That was one of my concerns, but I also have information regarding the Corpse Collector and things she's stolen. She did not merely rob the other guilds of their wealth. But quite a few things, from what my sources tell me, are their vital secret weapons." Dark Wraith sent Moon Rider a list of some of the items that Corpse Collector allegedly stole. Such things include the Ivory Mask's Mega Mecha, Fanged Rangers Floating Fortress, and other alliterative super weapons that should be impossible to simple steal, but are nonetheless missing or inaccessible.

"It's only rumors and speculation, but if we were to obtain these weapons under our control... It'll put us at a greater advantage over the other guilds, despite out numbers and relative infancy." Of course, taking these things for themselves would also declare war on the other guilds. Returning them may foster a sort of peaceful alliance, assuming that the other guilds would appreciate it. Dark Wraith wanted to hear what Moon Rider intended to do about it.

"I see," Moon Rider side with a sigh. It figures that they would be dealing with no ordinary Hacker, though this, the Black King knew for quite some time. Still, concern was made to hear that one Hacker had been enough to steal all of the Guild's super weapons. However, a grin soon formed on Moon Rider's visage and she crossed her legs, resting her cheek on her knuckles.

"Even so, this Corpse Collector does not have the treasure of the Black Guild. Of that I can verify for myself. For now we focus our matters on dealing with Corpse Collector. When the time comes, we will decide what to do with the other super weapons. Depending on the outcome, we will arrange alliances in exchange for their powers returned back."

Crossing her arms behind her back, Dark Wraith had very little else to question. That being said, there was still the matter of the Corpse Collector herself. "What how would you like us to deal with the Corpse Collector? Rumor has it that she's amassing her own army against ours, using the outlaws we've driven from the Black City. While I have no doubts that we have the might to crush them in a straight forward confrontation, I'm certain that she's more than likely going to use her numbers to harass and commit gorilla warfare on us. And ultimately, her goal is to kill you. Perhaps we can take advantage of that." Dark Wraith said, her face looking down to hide a smile on her face.

"Take advantage of the target on my head? It sounds a lot like you cleaning up the mess Dark Wraith," Moon Rider said evenly. Regardless of her feelings of the other Player, she would just have to trust her. The Sweeper had not failed her before and so she doubted a betrayal would come soon. But even so, both girls knew that taking down the Black King would be a challenge, even with Dark Wraith's skills as a Sweeper.

"On the other hand, it's probably best to send a single strike force against Corpse Collector. Cut the snake's head off, and the snake can no longer move."

Dark Wraith shook her head, but then pondered the thought. "It'll take quite a few of the Sweepers to even find the Corpse Collector. And surely you are aware that she's a hacker of considerable skill. Even if we were to send our more experienced players against her, without the help of an Eraser they're nothing more then fodder. And if the Corpse Collector sees that we have her matched, it won't be hard for her to escape using the same skills she'd be using to win. A single strike force could work..."

That's when Dark Wraith looked up at Moon Rider, giving her a mischievous expression. "As long as you lead them. Cocky and cowardly as she may be, the Corpse Collector will pull out all the stops to end you, both as a symbolic victory as well as a personal one, which I'm sure she has. This way we can gauge what her capabilities are, as well as keep her trapped instead of picking off our people one-by-one. It's a simple plan, but we can elaborate more on our tactics as we need to." Dark Wraith spoke as if this was the plan all along, and that Moon Rider was just going to go along with it. It's not as if she was wrong per say; regardless if Moon Rider does take to the field or not, many Ebon Strykers and Sweepers alike will be targeted by the Corpse Collector's minions, as well as the outlaw herself. This way the Ebon Strykers and minimize casualties by forcing Corpse Collector to play the big guns, because anything less won't be enough against Moon Rider. Least of all with Dark Wraith at her back.

"You know I can't help but feel you really do want to betray me," Moon Rider commented with amusement. "But your logic does make sense. I suppose I can lend my blade to our newly formed Ebony Strykers. After all, what is a King who cannot defend their Kingdom?"

Dark Wraith said nothing, simply smiling and nodding. She did not verbally deny nor agree that she was going to betray Moon Rider, nor to her thoughts about actively fighting on the front. On one hand, it certainly will give everyone a slightly better impression of Moon Rider knowing that she isn't simply making all the other members of her guild do her dirty work. An active monarch makes for a healthy kingdom after all. But Dark Wraith was more glad that Moon Rider had listened to her idea.

"As enigmatic as always. Honestly, you're starting to sound a lot like me-"

A gun shot echoed across the King's hall, the whizz of a bullet making impact with the shattering of metal. What was perhaps more surprising was that the attack came from Moon Rider, who had drew her gun and fired in the fraction of an instant. Truly her reaction time in the game was to be marveled at but there was no time to gawk too long. An intruder had found their way into this chamber.

Looking at it closely, Moon Rider could deduce that it was an NPC. A figure shrouded in cloth with a hood concealing its face...NPCs weren't supposed to have the capability to access restricted areas placed up by Players. So why was this one here and not moving?

Retsu had her staff out and pointed towards the person Moon Rider shot at, only to see an NPC. That wasn't right. Dark Wraith immediately scanned the NPC's for bugs and viruses, knowing that there's no way it could have just glitched here on it's own. Surely this was a ploy by an enemy stand hacker. "Looks like we have company." Unlike in the real world, this time Dark Wraith was going to fight. She summoned a Miasma to cut off the NPC's escape route, and got her Dark Hand ready to drain the NPC's health should it prove hostile, and just for good measure, she removed the usual restrictions that prevent players from wantonly killing NPC's within cities.

The NPC, whatever it was, did not respond to the threats aimed its way. Nor did it bother to move out of the way of Dark Wraith's Miasma, letting the green mist surround its only escape path. Moon Rider tensed, something incredibly familiar about this particular NPC. But in no time it was already on the move, making the Black King widen her eyes at how fast it was. No...No NPC could move like that. Not unless it was a Player...Moon Rider was too caught in shock to react, the figure headed straight for her.

Whatever this NPC was, it shouldn't be here. But two can play at that game. Normally Dark Wraith's Necromancy requires freshly killed enemies in order for her to raise corpses, but she skipped that process and spawned freshly slaughtered Dissolutions herself, obviously breaking a few rules. Two level five elite bosses, a Dead Angel and a Night Champion. Dark Wraith ordered them to stand between Moon Rider and the rogue NPC. When the NPC got close, the Dead Angel unleashed one of it's abilities, causing shadowy tentacles from it's body to shoot out at the NPC, binding it to place.

The Night Champion pointed at the NPC, his red blade glowing brighter as suddenly everyone else but the Night Champion vanished from the NPC's sight. Of course everyone was still there, but the Night Champion's ability forced a duel between himself and his opponent, allowing them to target no one else. They couldn't even preceive anyone but the Night Champion, which should allow everyone else to take down the NPC... Though Dark Wraith could never be too careful.

"Moon Rider, look alive! It's likely an assassin sent by Corpse Collector!" As Dark Wraith said that, she began to set up safeguards and looking into the NPC in question, trying to discern it's true identity. Even if it was just a tool being used by someone else, they couldn't escape Dark Wraith's senses. She will find out just who sent this NPC to them.

The Black King snapped back, eyes narrowed and focused again as the enemy was rooted in place. At once she twirled her beam blade, igniting the purple crescent of energy, a low hum resonating the air. But despite all of Dark Wraith's efforts, it seemed the mysterious NPC was unfazed by it all. Slowly, it began to walk forward...defying all logic as it slipped right through the dark tendrils, like a ghost in the system.

What was even more stunning was the fact that the figure was heading straight for Dark Wraith now. It could target other Players? The dual feature wasn't in place? No way. There was no way there could be an NPC as elusive as this. Perhaps it was a hostile fault in the system?

Snarling, Dark Wraith had her two undead thralls fall back to protect Moon Rider. "Of course. How foolish of me to think that I should fight you in-game." Though Dark Wraith continued to look as though she was going to fight as herself, in truth Dark Wraith reverted back to Retsu and was going to simply delete this NPC from the system. She marked the NPC for deletion, disabled it from further interaction to the DG system, and even sent a (somewhat misleading) bug report of a "Misplaced NPC".

She was treating it as if it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience, but in truth Dark Wraith was rather fearful. It was one thing if they were to face off against the Corpse Collector; defeating her was just a matter of finding the Player and using the Cherry Hunter system to sabotage her connection to Deep Ground, then killing her character to remove her from the system once and for all. And all of that could be done in-game. But this NPC was unaffected by the game itself, which mean it wasn't part of the game. It was an outside force that was never suppose to be here in the first place. Or perhaps it was a program of the game...but one so encoded and deeply ingrained into DGO's system that it was nigh-impossible to deal with it using conventional means. Whatever the case, it became quite evident that this NPC was something best left to handle when they were better prepared.

Dark Wraith's efforts did not go wasted however. Even as the figure remained walking, its cloak became scattered and tarnished, dissolving into nothingness; a sign that the deletion was slowly working. Despite this, it had made it far enough to stand directly in front of Moon Rider, having simply passed through the Player-controlled Dissolutions.

And when its cloak was finally torn away, Moon Rider tensed in place, body rigid in confusion and horror. The figure underneath the hood was none other than an image of herself, the Black King's expression frozen in a soundless scream before that too dissolved into naught more but bones and pixels. Then it was gone, the NPC having left no trace. Eyes still staring at where it once stood, Moon Rider deactivated her blade before sitting in her throne once again. Silent.

The NPC vanished, doing no harm, but leaving many questions. Who sent it? Why did it have Moon Rider's face? What was it's purpose? And most importantly, was it aware that Dark Wraith was capable of cheating the system? This was more important to Dark Wraith since for all she knew, that NPC may not even be completely wiped. She couldn't verify it from here; she'd need to go check the data caches themselves. She had a unique marker on the NPC, so once she finds it she can make extra sure that it was gone, and trace it back to anyone else who had interacted with it, both externally and internally.

But first Dark Wraith turned towards Moon Rider, who seemed... Lost. Walking up to the guild leader Dark Wraith stood before her. "Moon Rider, are you alright?"

Moon Rider had her head down and held between her hands. It was good that the other Player could not see her because the Black King's eyes were wide, her teeth gritted to the point where she feared they might even crack. Body rigid and still, images that only she could see flickered across her mind and...out. She had to get out of there.

"Moon Rider..." As Dark Wraith tried to talk to her, a couple of Sweepers entered the room. They were just casually coming in, not having an idea what just happened. Dark Wraith knew Moon Rider needed to think about what just happened, but she couldn't do that in front of everyone else. "Moon Rider, let's go somewhere more private. We need to talk about this."

"Yes...Yes, let's do that," Moon Rider said, voice constrained and body still rigid. She reached into her pocket and produced a simple transport crystal. Standing up next to Dark Wraith, the Black King said nothing more as she crushed the common item, sending them away in a twenty mile radius to whatever random location.

Familiar with the device used, Dark Wraith calmly waited as she and Moon Rider were transported somewhere within the area. When they arrived, Dark Wraith recognized the area as the Crystal Grotto Used to be one of the dead drop locations for the Sweepers, but then it started attracting too many players for that to be effective. Though nowadays no one goes here since no one could really appriciate the majestic beauty of the place. Not to mention the dissolution that everyone liked to fight here migrated to other places.

Regardless this was a good place to sit and chat privately. It was off the beaten path and there was little of interest here. So if anyone else decides to show up, Dark Wraith knows what their intentions are. Also, Dark Wraith's two Dead Thralls also showed up, albiet it looked like they had to travel here on foot. "Go stand near the entrance. Alert me if anyone comes near." Once her Dead Thralls did as they were told, Dark Wraith looked over towards Moon Rider. She produced a themeatically appropiate and comfortable mushroom chair for the two of them to sit on.

"What's wrong, Moon Rider? What did that NPC show you?"

"What did it show me? Don't tell me you couldn't see it," Moon Rider said immediatly, eyes still wide and wild. Her hands clenched in place, dropping her head down and staring at her boots. Retsu may have seen the face of the Black King, but Moon Rider had seen....

"It's...nothing. I thought I just saw someone from IRL. Though I'm not sure how that's even possible," Moon Rider replied, still hunched over.

Dark Wraith didn't get to see it, honestly. It was still cloaked when she deleted it. She told Moon Rider this much. "All I saw was it's shape covered by a cloak. But someone in real life? Who was it? Perhaps if we knew who you saw, we could figure out who sent the NPC."

"It was someone that I want to see dead," Moon Rider said flatly, tone suddenly icy. It was doubtful Moon Rider's player would say something outside the game. But in Deep Ground, things changed and people changed. Here, one was able to back up their claims with power, if only for a little.

Dark Wraith sighed. this emotional vulnerability of Moon Rider's was going to be her downfall. Ironic for Retsu to think perhaps, but as Dark Wraith she's much more unfeeling. Rising to her feet Dark Wraith looked towards the exit, turning her back on Moon Rider. "You know what I'm capable of, Moon Rider. If you want it enough, just give me a name, and I'll make sure that person will never bother you again." If Moon Rider knew anything about the Sweeper's infamey, it's for their violent real-life actions. All of it was, of course, rumor and speculation. After all it's not as if anyone actually has gone out and claimed to attack someone in real life on behalf of the Sweepers. But the truth was that it did happen, using selective induviduals, attacking at precise moments with brutal efficency for what is suppose to just be a couple of highschoolers. The Sweepers take a refuge in audacity.

"As callous as ever Dark Wraith," the Black King replied before sighing herself. "Forget about it. What they did can't be reversed and it's not worth the effort of hunting them down in the real world. I apologize for losing my stature back there. It really was nothing."

Well it certainly sounded like it, the Black King's voice returning back to some tone of normalcy. That being the case, it was perhaps best to call it a night. No doubt Dark Wraith would like some real sleep in the real world.

Dark Wraith wasn't convinced. Moon Rider was hiding something. Hiding a weakness that Dark Wraith couldn't cover. Obviously whatever happened between her and that NPC was personal, but if it was personal enough to affect her this badly.... Then all the more reason for Dark Wraith to look into it. Moon Rider can keep her face in Deep Ground. Retsu Goroshi was not so passive in the real world.

"So be it. It's been a long and eventful night... I think after dealing with a few disenters, I'll head to bed. Tell Tsugumi-san that I'll be occupying her bed for a bit longer." Dark Wraith walked out of the cave, flanked by her two elite guards. She needed to address some complaints about some skirmishes between the Ivory Masks and Ebon Strykers, do some inventory on the Stryker's war machines, and count up the recent bounties for the Sweepers. Work work work. "Take me back to the city. First I'll need to speak with my Erasers."

"Yes...alright then. I suppose I should be leaving now. There's no use in dealing with my personal problems here. I'll leave you to it then," Moon Rider said, already beginning the process of logging out. "Oh. And if you really are going to use my bed tonight, at least be sure to replace the sheets when you're done," the Black King said suddenly with a glare before her image faded away.

Dark Wraith did her business in Deep Ground, and soon logged out. Now she was Retsu Goroshi, and still laying in Yoshino's bed. She hasn't come back yet, perhaps because she felt uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as Retsu. Or more likely, given what Moon Rider said right before Dark Wraith left, Yoshino was indeed Moon Rider. Why she would bother keeping it a secret from Retsu, she wasn't entirely certain. Yoshino had her reasons, surely. Likely because she doesn't trust Retsu, which is fair enough. Retsu herself was keeping secrets from Yoshino as well.

Turning over in the bed Retsu looked down and smelled the sheets. Not only was she wearing Yoshino's clothing, but she was laying in her bed as well. The scent was... Oddly soothing. "I should really get out..." Retsu got out of Yoshino's bed, but looked through her closet for a new set of bedsheets. Surely Yoshino didn't want to sleep in the same bed as Retsu, so with some careful but precise speed, Retsu replaced Yoshino's bed and pillow sheets, folding her old sheets into a neat pile.It was quite late now and Retsu had enough shannigans for one day. Regardless if Yoshino would actually come and join her, Retsu's body and mind was more exhausted then it let on., and so when she laid down in the futon, she quickly fell asleep.

Eris Valkeyr Reinhardt

Saturday morning

Eris woke up early and, as usual, went straight for the shower (after undressing, for obvious reasons), taking a long shower and letting the hot water wash off some of er worries. Her hand was much better today and Eris felt that she could do some of her homework, in fact finish the measly amount that was still left to do, most of them mathematics and most of those precalculus, at that. To say the truth, Eris enjoyed the nature of Purple Crown's curriculum, with their advanced classes that reached college levels of complexity for the third years, even if the place in and of itself was a hive of maggots enslaved to the putrid remains known as the World Interface.

"Well, that's a pity, Cassandra, seems like we will have to postpone our rendezvous." Eris said as she slid her window open to let some fresh air come inside her room only to find that a considerable rain was falling outside. The cool breeze was all she wished for, thus Eris reclined by the window while sending a message to Cassandra.

Subject: My Apologies

Greetings, Cassandra O'Shera.

I write to apologize for not being able to attend to our rendezvous, but the rain will make the plans I had in mind impossible. While I would enjoy another opportunity to meet you, but we can always reunite inside Deep Ground. As long as you solve my riddle from a couple nights ago, that is.

If the weather gives a break let's meet tomorrow. However, I might want another one of those kisses when that happens, mind you.

Without further ado, I bid you farewell,

Eris.

With that issue solved, Eris set aside the will to share another kiss with Cassandra, while wondering why such a plain and anti hygienic gesture could be as enticing. Yet, Eris questioned herself if what she felt for Cassandra was really love; sure, she couldn't negate that she felt attracted to and well around Cassandra, but on Eris' understanding love was something different that she equally couldn't describe.

Despite all that, Eris thought that the prospect of sharing her days with Cassandra was very good. Living alone for so much time had turned Eris into a human with an lone wolf's soul, one that had been scarred countless times in along and arduous vendetta, a mate might help her avoid becoming a monster while hunting others.

Anyway, Eris then took a Spartan breakfast and rested her body on her simple bed ready to dive into the maw of the beast again. All the while she had been wearing nothing other than her panties of a very simple design made really just to be comfortable casual wear and a dress shirt belonging to one of her uniforms. Eris didn't planned to go outside today, so there was hardly any use to wear restrictive garments like a skirt and most of all a bra for her reasonable bust. Even so... "Enough of dilly dallying, I don't have time to waste!"

@KoL

It was Eris's Message that woke her. Which put a smile on her face, even if it was a bit disappointing that they couldn't do whatever Eris had planned. It was nice to be thought of. Very nice indeed. She rolled out of bed, and blinked, still a little unfamiliar with the surroundings of her dorm room, pondering Eris's message, and trying to figure out what she meant by riddle. As she showered, she took the liberty to have a long, hot, uninterrupted shower. that was perhaps the best thing about being by herself in the dorm room. No siblings to interrupt her, or hurry her along.

She sighed happily, wondering briefly if things would be the same if she hadn't decided to move out. She supposed she never would know that. And she would be eternally grateful for that decision.

After she dressed, she felt coherent enough to reply to Eris.

Eris,

While I'm saddened to know we can't do what you had planned, I'm certain I can figure out your riddle, and that we can meet online. You certainly have given me many cryptic messages, but I wonder, do you see yourself as the moon, or the sun? Knowing you, I'm certain it's the moon, and I'd have to agree. The moon is mystical, and beautiful, quite like you.

Until we meet again,

Cassandra

P.S. I liked the way you called me Cassie, the other day.

Satisfied with that, Cassandra sat for a moment, flickering through her mind to figure out if there was anyone she had met with the name Eclipse in the game. She thought, perhaps, she had seen someone...She wouldn't have needed the hint. Not now, in any case. Cassandra imagined that Eris had been testing her, when she gave her that riddle.

Pondering that, Cassandra began to log into Deep ground online, before pausing and taking a moment to message Jukebox

Welcome, Nies Hellum!
[/hr]

Nies Hellum was still in the black city. And alone, once more. She knew that was dangerous, she wasn't skilled in fighting, but...it seemed a tad irresistible, being there. She could wonder about...and began what she now wished to do. No longer afraid, Nies Hellum stood, straight, and scanned the area, almost calculating.

Still, as she began to walk through the city, she was careful to move quietly, wondering what intel she could gather. And wondering if she'd be required to share it with the Green king. Mostly, she was on the look out Eris's character. @KoL@McFazzer

Eclipse Princess

Welcome Eclipse Princess!

-"Become what you are."

Princess snarled at the automated message, with all of its fake cheerfulness, though the personalized message she set for herself (another of Nietzsche's quotes nonetheless) made sure to keep her mind focused on the business at hand.

"First things first", Princess said to herself as she paced along the roof of the high building she had logged out for the last time. The building was just outside of the Black City and from her vantage point Eclipse Princess could behold the 'improvements' they had done to the headquarters of the Ebony Strikers in a matter of few hours. "Impressive, I admit, but to be met with the sight of this rabble first thing after logging in, almost makes me want to go out in the rain to meet Cassandra."

"Speaking of the devil", that was when 'Eris' received the mail from Cassandra, which 'Princess' read but didn't bothered with replying to simply inform Cassandra that she had received the message. "Either way, what's it about this Cassie thing? I should inquire her when we meet on the other side. For time, I have more to do."

Looking back at the sight before herself, Princess held back the urge to spit at the sight of the Sweepers manning the defenses of the Black City. She knew most of them too well and was known by them as well, for being one of the few non-Outlaws that made a point of hunting them down whenever she had the chance. Despite that, the fact that there was only one way to her destination forced Eclipse Princess to leap between a couple other buildings before landing atop the black walls.

"You are lucky I'm not here for you today, rabble, your defenses won't do nothing from this range. Try to get in my way and I'll make you remember that I have more than enough experience when fighting you lot." Eclipse Princess snarled the Sweepers that came to see what had happened, most of them recoiling when they noticed that it as Eclipse Princess before them. "Yes, put your tails between your legs and leave me alone, my business here is with the only person still worthy of respect in this guild."

After saying so, Eclipse Princess walked straight to Moon Rider's throne room, intent on having a meeting with the Black King about a certain business that most likely she knew of.

• • •

The Black King was sitting atop her throne room, a lazed expression on her face with legs crossed. She noted the appearance of Eclipse Princess and beckoned her forward. Seems that the Deputy of the Ebony Strykers, Dark Wraith, was not present. The favors must have been in Eclipse Princess' favor.

"Yes? What is it Eclipse Princess. I have many things to do without a ruffian such as yourself entering my territory unguarded."

"Your dogs need a little more training, but that's not why I came here. I'm searching for an NPC and after doing a lot of research I concluded that it's somewhere within the Black City. Have you ever heard of the Storyteller?" Princess said with a disinterested expression in her face, even the 'great' Moon Rider wasn't a morning person? What a joke.

"And why should I answer a request like that?" Moon Rider said with a smug grin, casually fondling with the hilt of her beam saber. "The way I see it, you're after something that could potentially ruin my plans. Why would I openly try to make your life any easier Eris Valkeyr?"

If the Black King was trying to goad the other Player on then she was certainly trying her very best. There was no way she could be able to guess Princess' real life identity, unless she had specially did so with the help of the Sweepers. Just what was going on here?

"So that I don't make yours har-" Eclipse Princess was about to boast how Moon Rider's forces were comprised mainly of her favorite PVP target, thus she could be a major spanner in the works if she wanted to, that is until she heard s name that should not be mentioned on this side of her life.

"What have you said? How do you k... wait, I can see why. Do you mean to intimidate me because I have more than my fair share of enemies both here and there? That won't work, I'm sorry." Even as she said so, Princess had to fight the urge of drawing her blade on Moon Rider that was a matter of her personal life and safety. However, even if she (somehow) killed Moon Rider it would mean nothing to whoever controls her. There must be other ways to deal with this issue Eris though while staring at Moon Rider not as Eclipse Princess but as herself.

"What do you want?" Princess said, resisting the urge to log out and check if her body was safe.

The Black King sneered, relaxing further into her seat, seeming to relish on Princess' distress at the situation. The balance of power had now shifted, for now a Colored King knew her real life identity. Eclipse Princess was in a very vulnerable position and both girls knew that.

"What I want is for you to stay away from my goals Eclipse Princess. Or maybe I should start referring to you as "Eris" now? As for the quest you're seeking, abandon it. I have a faint clue of what you're doing and frankly I won't allow you to go through with it. Relinquish your goals and perhaps I will spare you any pain experienced in the real world," Moon Rider said darkly. "Don't think I wasn't paying attention last night. You've become awfully close to that Cassandra girl..."

Princess swallowed hard, it was a very bad situation, especially since of all the Kings Moon Rider was the only one that had an unknown identity. But what she stood to gain by doing that? "No, perhaps I misjudged her from the very beginning. Associating with the Sweeper should have been an obvious clue, damn me." Princess thought while clenching her teeth, grinding so hard that if it was her real teeth they would have chipped by now.

"Abandon my goals? Give up on everything that makes me be who I'm? I would prefer to die then become a slav-" Damn, that was way too low, at the mention of Cassandra's name Eris froze, she knew that this could happen but, why now?

"Leave her out of this! Cass- Cassie has nothing to do with this, she has a life to live, unlike I who chose this this path. Your business is with me," Eris growled, baring her teeth at Moon Rider like a rabid wolf. Despite that, a sliver of panic was visible on her eyes, what if Cassandra was online no? What if they tried to do something to her while that? Such a weakness wasn't like her and frankly made Eclipse Princess want to throw up, thankfully an avatar wasn't able to do that.

"Oh? Bark all you want Eris; it won't faze me. You think I won't follow through with what I say? You obviously haven't made an enemy of me before," Moon Rider said with a threatening glint in her eyes before shrugging. "But I guess that's really up to you. I mean, it only makes sense someone like you would be so paranoid. Someone with goals...who lives alone...and probably isn't aware of what's going on around her at this very moment," the Black King finished, letting those words sink in.

Princess covered her face with a hand, no with her left hand, the very same one that was hurt on the real world right now, the one that Cassandra tended to. That was not right, for her to have to back down now, not after this much time, not when she has so little time left, but still, it would be so easy to end her life, or do even worse things while she was logged in this damn game.

"But, what can I do if I log out now? If there's someone on my room right now it would only make things worse. I have to assume that Moon Rider's word is worth of something now, which is impossible. Even if I bow down I might end up dead, but at least I have to..."

"And, what ascertains me that you won't hurt Cassie even if I give up? A dirty coward like you might as well break her word without a second thought." Princess said, remaining as stoic as she could, while facing Moon Rider with a look that mixed rage, shame and disgust at the same time.

"Hmm, you're right. I guess you could say there really is now way for you to know if I'm being completely honest. Well then I guess you're just going to have to find out, aren't you Eris! Ahahaha, look how pathetic you are! Tremble at the quake of the mighty Moon Rider, Yoshino Tsugumi, Black King and supreme ruler of the Ebony Strykers!"

Apart from the fact that Moon Rider had just announced her identity-perhaps deliberately-there was just something...off with the Black King. The behavior was quite strange, the over the top and extreme emotions acting almost as if they were forced up front. But Eris wouldn't be able to think about that right now; not when her life was in danger in the real world.

"Yoshi-!? You damn whore, I knew you had something hidden", As Eclipse Princess said so, her mouth was almost frothing with Berserker rage, her heartbeats were so strong that she could feel her head being pounded even if it was something affecting her real body. "You expect me to not do anything now that I know of this?" With that said, Princess summoned her interface and hit log out button, Heavens be damned of what happen now, the only thing on her mind was making sure that Cassandra wouldn't be in any danger.

Truly an odd encounter, but one that was all the more unsettling. Moon Rider shrugged once more as Eris logged out and entered into the real world, the Black King acting most strange. What was perhaps the strangest of all was the fact that Yoshino Tsugumi was still sleeping soundly in her small guest room in the real world.

Alex

Alex was watching a kettle boil in his Dorm room. Waiting for it to boil he tried to make sense of the pizza incident... failing to do so he buried his head in his hands, not sure what to do. Should he say something? How could he help? Should he help? Is his help necessary? Would they even want it? He could clearly tell something was wrong, but nothing seemed like the right thing... should he ignore it? That seemed even worse. Didn’t that one person say that evil succeeds when the good do nothing? But wasn’t it also said the road to Hell was paved with good intentions?

Staring at the kettle a piercing whistling noise shattered his train of thought. Standing up, Alex poured the hot water over the teabag in his mug and drank when he got a message from Nies. Smiling as he read, Alex realized that was probably what he needed more than anything. Replying he said

Welcome Back Unrelenting Jukebox
Relax for a bit. You seem stressed~

The snarky comment. The strange mix of nature and cityscape. It was all familiar once more. Looking from his rooftop vantage point he saw an outlaw below him. Not one to turn away such an opportunity, Jukebox kneeled down and chipped at the ledge of the roof. After a few minutes a large noticeable crack emerged and Jukebox stomped, once, twice, tree times, before *CRRRRK*

Scrambling from the edge, Jukebox kicked at the piece of roof once more and with the sound of scrapping concrete piece of roof, about the size of a bedside table broke off and tumbled down to his prospective target as he dropped a grenade down after the piece of debris. And in a flash of red light and curses a single level 3 outlaw bit the dust.

Nies hellum wondered the city, pondering where she could go from here. She wasn't really having any luck finding any sign of Eris, or rather Eris's Avatar. She stood thinking for a moment, and ended up having to roll out the way as what appeared to be rubble flew towards her. She rolled, and threw her arms over her head, biting back a curse.

"HEY! WATCH IT!"

She rolled aside, and made to push herself up, shaking her head, and looking up, not surprised to see Jukebox above. There were sometimes she wondered if the game was throwing them together. "We really have to stop meeting like this, Jukebox" She called up, and smiled almost slyly.

She brushed hair back from her eyes, "Why don't you come down, cause I don't think I can find the way up there" She glanced about, in case all the fuss had brought something else near them, laying a hand on the only true weapon she had, her dagger. Aiming to be a healer, it meant she had to focus on helping others, making it harder for her to level up as she often needed a team. @McFazzer

Neron appeared in a kneeled sitting position before the throne room, his masked head facing his lap as if he were an unpowered robot. His head slowly lifted upwards, taking in his surroundings before he began to stand up with leisure. His steps began to move towards the throne room, but they stopped abruptly when he began to overhear the conversation between two players. Slowly, he crept to the edge of the doorway, peaking for only a moment to see the two characters interacting, one was named Eclipse Princess, the other; the Black King, Moon Rider.
"I'm searching for an NPC and after doing a lot of research I concluded that it's somewhere within the Black City. Have you ever heard of the Storyteller?" Those were the first words Sora was able to make out, from then he listened intently. Although he found that Eris was the real identity of the Eclipse Princess, but neither names were familiar to him, thus he tucked the information in the back of his mind. However, the second name that came up, Yoshino Tsugumi, was something he was slightly more associated to. He waited until the Eclipse Princess logged out and their was a bried silence.
His heavy footsteps finally proceeded forward as he appeared in the doorway, raising his hand in a wave before making a simple greeting, "Yo, Black King, looking quite good." He would have smiled if he could.

But Neron would be greeted with nothing but silence, the Black King having seemingly vanished from sight. No trace was left to indicate that she had ever been there, no doubt causing yet more confusion as a whole. Things certainly were strange.

Realizing nobody was present any longer, Neron glanced about and let out a mechanical sigh. He really couldn't seem to grab ahold of anything.
"How tedious." He muttered with dissatisfaction. Walking through the throne room, he arbitrarily and boredly sat on the throne, his heavy armor resounding as it landed against the seat.

The familiar sound of someone logging in was then heard at the moment and none other than the Black King, Moon Rider, appear. Looking up from her status screen, she blinked in surprise...before staring hard at the Player who had decided to just lounge about on her throne.

"Can I help you Neron?"

Neron's head lifted from his palm with a slight tilt of his neck, although he made no move to leave the throne, he seemed to glance about once more before looking back to Moon Rider. He believed the timing to be quite impeccable.

"Did you just log out then back in within the span of a couple minutes, while having just recently conversed with Eclipse Princess, Eris or whatever?" He inquired with a voice that sounded as if he were grinning, his head leaning back against his palm with an inquiring pose.

"Hmm? What are you talking about? I've only just logged in," Moon Rider said with a frown, eyes narrowing into a hard gaze. If this was Neron's idea of a lame joke, she was not laughing. If anything, his continued presence on her throne only gave her more incentive to attack. Unless he had something of actual worthy content to say, the Black King would strike him down in an instant.

"Ah, it's just that I happened to hear a conversation just a moment ago between 'Moon Rider' and 'Eclipse Princess' is all. Your character put two names forward, Eris Valkeyr, and you named yourself Yoshino Tsugimi. As you probably know, I have never met you prior to the now, but I have conversed with Ms.Yoshino before, and the contents of the conversation seemed entirely off the mark with my impression of her." Finishing his explanation, he rocked himself off the throne with a heavy clank, "I simply felt something was off, do as you like with the information. I actually came to try joining into the Ebony Strykers." Neron added nonchalantly.

Moon Rider stared at Neron before moving forward and settling on her throne. The news of this fake Black King giving supposedly real life identities of players was a little unnerving but Moon rider shrugged it off. Now wasn't the time to be handling such a delicate scenario; she would leave all that up for Dark Wraith's jurisdiction.

"Well you certainly took your time. Why choose now to join among my ranks? Is it because we now dwarf the other Kingdoms in size and power?"

Neron chuckled with a slight shrug, pointing at his own name and level bar helplessly, "I took my time due to the fact that I started around a week ago. On the other hand, I think we both understand you sit upon a glass throne, this guild is anything but safe and stable. You have a big, giant target on your head, and you have some entity throwing around real life names as you in your own throne room. Your power seems bought and unstable and you balance a delicate situation while, with all your power, you are still being bullied by the Corpse Collector. Likewise, I just sat in your throne however I liked." Neron pauses, although his features are masked, Moon Rider can feel his gaze settle on her own eyes, watching her own reactions, "Size and power mean nothing to me, they don't matter as long as one lacks ambition. However, the reason I want to join is because of your ambition and my own ambitions."

Neron steps a few strides further away from the throne, "That and this is a game, when has safety ever been fun?" The voice betrays his grin as he nods in agreement to his own statement.

"You speak as if you have any control over this situation," Moon Rider lampshaded. "You speak as if I ever considered my Guild stable in the first place. The fact that there are Sweepers guarding the entrance to this very room should say so. As for the Corpse Collector, what gave you the impression of me being bullied? Obviously you're clueless to my history with that Hacker," Moon Rider said with a knowing smirk.

Her reputation as a Hacker Killer was something to be wary of; if anything, Corpse Collector's antics were just cogs in the machinations of her plans. As for Neron's quip about her throne? A simple stroke of luck that would not happen again. The Player didn't seem to realize the dangerous line he was standing over; or if he did, the Black King had to commend his apathy.

"You still haven't told me what I asked for. Either enlighten me of these ambitions of yours or get out. Either way, your request to join will be fufilled."

Neron laughed heartily in his mechanical voice, his featureless mask moving up and down slightly with each chuckle, "Maybe fall in love, maybe stand at the top of the world, maybe work as an underling for an impatient king. What better way to poise myself for doing what I want than riding the waves of change?" Neron asked, his smiling voice settling into a questioning smirk. "I'm not so foolish to believe you think that as an answer, so I suppose I must take the second option and 'get out'." Sora waved his hand carelessly, walking back the way he came, "I'm glad I could join in, your words are my command, your throne is truly quite comfortable." He said in a well natured tone, his heavy footsteps echoing through the throne room.

The Black King shook her head and sighed. Dealing with eccentrics like Neron was starting to give her a headache and she could only wonder how her representative could deal with it. Resting on her throne proper now, Moon Rider checked some reports before suddenly logging out.

Eris Valkeyr Reinhardt

After Eris logged out of the game, there were some... complications on her room. To name them, somehow a group of masked people (four or five, in total) were there, despite the fact that the door was locked and didn't looked like it had been forced open. One of them was actually moving to restrain Eris, trying to tie her to the bed with a leather belt, which naturally cause the blond German to panic at first.

Eris kicked the chin of the assailant causing them to bite their tongue badly and fall to the floor rolling in pain. The others, noticing that Eris had awakened and was trying to resist, rushed to secure her limbs. The struggle of Eris was useless, even if she was fit, it still was one against four, though they made the mistake of letting Eris hands rest close to her pillow. When one of those who were holding Eris' arms produced something that looked like a syringe full of a clear fluid, Eris' pupil's shrunk as her survival instincts kicked in.

What was that syringe? What would it do to Eris? What would they do to her after injecting said substance inside her body?

All of this, Eris didn't knew, and didn't wanted to find the answer for. The masked people movements were sluggish, almost robotic, leaving their defense way too open, as is they were drugged or something like this. Maybe if it were someone in hold of their own actions, Eris would have met whatever fate waited her right now, but not with them, not now, this time Eris would live, even if she had to... Without thinking a second time, she drew that... a handgun (to be precise, a FN Five-seveN) and shot the right shoulder of the one who was holding her left arm. The recoil reopened the wound on Eris' hand, but there was no time to think about pain, not now when adrenaline was running wild through her system. The next one was the thug holding her left leg, who got hit by his stumbling companion and fell, freeing Eris' leg and allowing her to kick the temple of the one holding her right leg, sending him heeling to a wall.

With three limbs free, Eris was able to exert enough force to tackle the last one who held her right arm with a hand and the syringe with the other, rolling on the floor with him as her weapon fell just a few feet too far for her hand to reach. The last assailant mounted Eris as they stopped, pinning her to the floor and trying to strangulate her in a fit of mad rage, luckily for Eris, in her struggle to breath, she grabbed a hold of the syringe laying by the floor beside them, and without thinking, plunged it on the thug's neck, injecting him with whatever substance laid inside it. A moment later and the thug was frothing from the mouth and scratching his neck in pain, before suddenly stopping (dead, probably).

Eris wasted no time in finishing the others (non-lethally if she could), before half-dressing in her school uniform, grabbing a couple extra clips of ammo, bandages and a flask of painkillers, before stumbling away (under the rain) to a certain Student President's residence, intent on knowing what was Yoshino Tsugumi's game.

"Honestly, where the hell should we even begin? I mean, I got the right ideas behind it all, but applying them only takes more time to pull off," the Corpse Collector ranted to her new partner in crime. She had barely bothered to check the other Avatar's name because quite frankly it didn't matter at the moment. The two were at one of the many bars in Faded City, the alcohol being replicated by DGO's programming. After all, it wasn't like these minors were actually consuming real booze.

Meanwhile Smitten Kitten happened to be in the same bar. She had put off her attempt at the Black King's life to try to get stronger, and getting more information on the Corpse Collector. She thought maybe she could try to defeat her and get to level 9 as quickly as she could. But Smitten Kitten knew that she couldn't face off against someone like the Corpse Collector on her own. She'd need allies, and for a short while she thought maybe she could try working with the Black Guild.

But instead Smitten Kitten had another idea: she could help the Corpse Collector. She was obviously and enemy of the Black King, if not before now she is. Everyone was hunting for the Corpse Collector to, so if the information Smitten Kitten can get is right, she could find her and ask to join her. Kitten didn't really understand how or why Corpse Collector stole from the other guilds, but since they werent' exactly making a lot of uproar about it, Kitten figured it was just lies spread by the Black King to get the guild to take out some lone outlaw. It was a risky gamble to hope that Corpse Collector wasn't just going to kill Kitten when they met, but surely even Corpse Collector couldn't turn away potenital allies.

As she waited for her digital drink to arrive, Smitten Kitten looked over to some of the other patrons at the bar. For some reason, she couldn't see the name of one of them. "Hmm. How suspicious..."

As they waited in the bar with the somewhat noisy patrons, Owari just only manage to look around the rooms, she didn't want to drink the digital drinks at the bar, but after feeling like she would be suspicous if she didn't drink anything or even looked relaxed about what she was doing.

Owari tried her best to chill out and look relaxed the best she could, she noticed that her cohort's name was still blanked out. It was gonna be hard to look relaxed and be causal when someone near you didn't look like everyone else that was a player, Even tho C.C was looking suspicus due to the lack of name, Owari kept acting like she didn't notice it.

Suddenly she noticed that someone else was eye balling C.C, Owari got a quick look of the avatar's name before her drink arrived to her, she began to take a sip from it and kept her self relaxed, but kept her defenses high, she was ready for something to go down and happen she looked her drink, then started to look around the room getting a look of everyine,

But unbeknowest for Owari, the Corpse Collector had already noticed Kitten's presence if only because she was able to with her skills at hacking. The rouge Avatar sighed, taking a huge gulp of her drink and chugging the burning liquid down her digitized throat. Then she slammed the glass on the wooden table and sneered.

"I know you're watching so hurry up and say whatever you need to before I pump you so full of holes!"

Owari sighed when she heard C.C yell at the player Smitten Kitten across the room.

She had announced this loudly, not caring if the other people turned to look at her. All that mattered was that she got Smitten Kitten's attention. And for her sake she had better take the opportunity lest Corpse Collector end up changing her mind.

Sighing, Smitten Kitten stood up and walked towards the table. "I'll skip the formalities. I want to join you in your fight against the Black King. I know I might not look like much, but trust me. I take advantage of that." Which was a lie. Kitten was still trying to get a hang of her abilities, and while trying to look cute and disarming at first is a tactic she wants to use, she hasn't actually used it before. And most players wouldn't blink an eye at wasting her in Deep Ground anyways. But if she wanted to work with Corpse Collector (Who Smitten Kitten was pretty sure this no-name avatar was), she'd need to at least act confident.

Seeing Kitten get up and walk over to C.C, Owari stayed out of sight of Kitten and when she pleaded to C.C, Owari slammed her hand onto the table and looked the girl into her eye." Not trying to be one of those girls that are really paranoid, but..Did either of you think about the other people here ?!" Owari began yelling herself.

She soon regained her self and sighed." Just maybe we should talk somewhere less crowded, you never know who may want to just outright attack us, or listen in on what we are talking about." Owari told the two.

Corpse Collector opened her mouth to talk before Owari did that for her. A couple of other Avatars casted glances at the trio but soon enough they returned to whatever they were doing. Corpse Collector sighed before glaring intently at Owari.

"While I do appreciate your foresight, do that again and I'll make sure you're unable to walk for a week. In the real world," she warned darkly before looking to Smitten Kitten. "Yeah, I know you. You're that chump Kitten who thinks they can take on the Black King but always fails in fucking doing so. So you want to help me out? Fine by me, though it seems a little kind of you to offer. Let's do what my lackey says and find somewhere more secure to talk."

The little kitten didn't really respond to Owari, figuring that she had no business with herself and Corpse Collector aside from being a concerned member of their little resistance. And beside that even if there was someone here who would care to take advantage of what was being said, Smitten Kitten had no doubt that someone like Corpse Collector could deal with them immediately. As for CC's own comment about Smitten Kitten, she was a bit surprised that she knew her (failed) exploits. She simply shrugged her shoulders.

"It's not as if you got any closer. But fine. Let's get out of here." Kitten allowed the other two avatars to leave first, and she'll follow afterwards.

Corpse Collector glared at Smitten Kitten, muttering to herself. Just because she could point out Kitten's shortcomings didn't mean the other Player could point out hers. Shallow to the core, Corpse Collector revealed a small teleportation crystal. Crushing it in her hand, the three of them would fast travel to a random location hopefully somewhere more private. The Hacker didn't even pay for her drinks.

The three of them would land in the middle of the desert dividing all of the Kingdoms. In this place, Dissolutions ran wild and free and it seemed there were some high level enemies in this place. Doubtful they'd be bothered unless some strong Player just so happened to be walking by.

Owari looked around the desert seeing the enemies far away in the distance, she didn't really say anything about where they were, she knew where it was, and C.C did as she asked taking them out of the tavern, she wasn't about to yell at C.C or even get angry with her knowing that they could just drop her in the blink of an eye, she knew that if something was to attack them, C.C would have her back, If not then she'd be going down swinging.

Smitten Kitten was a bit nervous being here. Even if Corpse Collector and Owari didn't try to kill her, she was outclassed by all these monsters. Even her new weapon, a shortsword, wouldn't be able to put a dent in these things. She was certain that Corpse Collector did this on purpose to scare Smitten Kitten, but she wasn't going to be intimidated.

"There isn't really much to discuss. I want to take out the Black King as a message to everyone in the Ebony Strykers. What your lackey thinks about it, should not matter to you, right? I know you just see all of us as a tool, so the least we should do is do our part."

Kitten was prepared for Owari to try to attack her for verbally putting her down, though all she could really do is dodge her attack, maybe claw her eyes if she gets too close.

Owari stared at Kitten, she gave her one of those." Really bitch." Looks on her face." Hey if you want you could go and get your ass kicked by the black king, not like we really need to help you."

Owari noticed that the enemies around them were a bit closer and got an idea to scare this chick." Hey, why don't you use one of those crystals again and get us out of here, and leave this chick out here to be killed."

The elfish looking girl stood closer to C.C." We could just grab her stuff off her after she gets killed, I bet she might have some rare stuff on her if she was gunning for the black king." Owari tried to give C.C some ideas.

"You got a problem with me, Owari? Cut the crap and we can just settle this here and now. We don't need your elitist BS just because you happen to be chummy with the Corpse Collector."

Kitten couldn't imagine actually saying that in real life in a similar position, but she needed to be brave in Deep Ground. More so against these type of people. Even though she was barely chest high to Owari, Smitten Kitten stood up to, looking her in the eyes.

"I'm here to kill the Black King. I dont care if you don't like me or why you're even here. If you plan to stop me from trying, then I'll kill you. Otherwise shove off. We don't have a lot of time before someone from the the Strykers find us, if I was able to."

Corpse Collector sighed aloud, arms out in exasperation. Perfect. The two idiots willing to go along with her plans and they were at each other's throats. Just perfect. Admittedly she did like the idea Owari offered of just straight up ditching Kitten here...but that would be counter-productive. So instead Corpse Collector snapped her fingers; at once digital chains of numerous codes and numbers appeared around both Avatars, keeping their arms pinned to their sides.

Then she wrapped her arms around them both and brought them together before saying, "Listen, guys, we're supposed to be a team now. Got it? I hate the Black King, Kitten hates the Black King, Owari...is here for the ride I guess. Can't we all just learn to get along and hate the Black King together?"

Her voice was strained; obviously the Hacker wasn't used to this "friendship" bull crap. But she tried to put on a genuine smile, though it twitched. Still, this was a better approach then just putting a bullet between both of these idiot's heads.

Before Owari could even speak, she was restrained by something, lines of code and data, she was surprised by it and soon C.C put her arms around the two, she started to go on about being a team and what they were here for when she said Owari was here for the ride, Owari spoke up about what she wanted really." Well I'm actually in it for the Loot, Excution points, gold, and what infamy."

Kitten yelped when she was suddenly immobilized by what looked like computer code. This seemed like a very fancy attack, but Corpse Collector didn't look like the caster type. Though Smitten Kitten already suspected CC of being a hacker, so she wasn't surprised that she was able to do this. Sighing, Smitten Kitten tried to regain her composure. "Fine, whatever. Do you have a plan or are we still trying to gather more people together?"

"No, No, I think this is enough," Corpse Collector said to Kitten, a dark smirk already forming on her face. Yes, perhaps she would be able to meet her quota after all.

Unrelenting Jukebox

Hearing a shout from below, Jukebox was extremely confused, thinking he should have finished off that outlaw. Peeking over the edge, Jukey spied with his little eye... Nies! Haha! They had basically just messaged each other and now she was here? Fate? Coincidence? Who cares?!.

"What are you doing down there Nies? It's dangerous when I'm above you! Fall damage is how I managed to even reach level 3! Exploitation of game mechanics~! You could have gotten hurt, I've gotten very good and dropping things! Stay there, I'll be down in a sec~" running back down the stairs, the ground floor was blocked off so throwing a chair at a window, Jukebox soon followed it out, hitting the ground and reducing the fall damage to almost nothing with a tumble roll. Brushing the dust off Jukebox looked around and grinned.

"It's good to see you again Nies~!" pulling the healer into a bear hug, Jukebox breaks away "So, would the fair maiden like to join me in dungeon diving? Or should we pick up a quest and nab some EXP that way?" grinning widely, Jukebox was rather ecstatic, not many people enjoyed grinding with him since they figured he was rather useless, but Jukey had long since come up with creative ways to level, such as falling rock and grenades. Plus he was a great driver~

"Would you like to go by car? Let's not go motorbike, our King has destroyed 100% of the motorbike's I have ever ridden. I think he doesn't like bikes, maybe he has a trauma against them... sure I don't expect to see him, but I don't want to tempt fate~"

Nies Hellum

Nies smiled, amused at Jukebox. She waited for him to come down, and didn't expect the hug. She blinked, and was just a little to slow to return the hug. "Well, I didn't know you were above me, Jukebox. I'll remember to look up next time" she said in response.

Jukebox was just so enthusiastic, it was hard not to be as well. While she wanted to look for Eris, she figured she could do that while training with Jukebox. She did need someone to train with, after all. "Well, we could do both. Find a quest that lets us dungeon dive" she said brightly, wondering if there was one like that around.

She stared at him when he suggested to go by car. "you wrecked the last car I had, distracting that dissolution remember? And the one before that..perhaps that's why the king destroys the bikes. A cars more insulted, after all. But sure, if we can get one"

Eris Valkeyr Reinhardt

It took sometime for Eris to recompose herself, but eventually, she managed to, and the first place she went after leaving her dorm was the nearest shopping arcade (the same one where she met Cassandra and the others yesterday night), dropping by the paid lockers to leave her weapon and ammunition behind. It was crazy to walk through the city with these things, to begin with. Once she did that, Eris went to an store and purchased a fresh change of clothes (naturally one of her favorite brand) along and an umbrella, lastly stopping by the drugstore where she got the nurse to do her suture all up again and bandage her hand, leaving a decent tip, since it was the second time she visited the store in order to do that.

With all done, Eris walked the rest of the way to Yoshino's apartment, where she knocked at the door a couple times, before calling, "Yoshino Tsugumi, I need to talk to you. I have questions pertaining a certain incident of this morning." With that said, Eris stood by Yoshino's door waiting for the Student Council President to make herself known. In the meanwhile, she thought about the whole event, trying to sort out things, and consider why and how it had happened, before drawing to the conclusion that it was most likely the work of a hacker, perhaps even the trash known as Corpse Collector's doing.

To say the truth, it was the most likely scenario. There was no way that Corpse Collector was uninformed about the bounty on her head and since it was Yoshino who issued that in the name of Moon Rider, it was quite likely the case. Still, the was that lingering suspicion inside of Eris that, even if the Moon Rider she met was a fake one, Yoshino happened to be the true Black King.

"But I have no time for that now, I will leave the thoughts about Yoshino's secret for later. Since it would be madness to threaten or harm someone innocent such as Cassandra, probably the one in most danger now is Yoshino herself. If my wits are right, I should be the one to kill her, thereby freeing whoever is behind this from two potential foes, once I got to sent for imprisonment. Thus, the reason I have to discuss with her and, if she really is Moon Rider, I might even get some information on the Storyteller, after all, my information has already been leaked. What would be the point of secrecy?" Eris thought as her expression gradually shifted from neutral, to bored, to irritated at Yoshino's laziness. It was almost ten o'clock, there was no way she could be sleeping now.

"Of all days in the world, this is just the one where I learn that Yoshino Tsugumi is not a morning person person. God..." Eris sighed exasperated, before she rapped door a third time, and announced her identity. "Yoshino Tsugumi, open this door, it is me, Eris Reinhardt, I really need to talk to you."

Aaron Fletcher

Chugging what was probably his third iced tea that day, Aaron Fletcher pushed open the door to his dormitory at Purple Crown, promptly removing his scarf and dropping the pea-coat he wore everywhere onto the floor. It had been a long day, ghosting through the halls of the academy he'd been enrolled in for barely a week and trying to find his classes, let alone arriving on time. Long story short, he just suffered through a detention for being five minutes late to his science class for the third time that week, and was done for now. Not with anything in particular, just done in general.

Life had been hectic for the last year or so, from being forced to meet with an on-site therapist on a bi-weekly basis to being stomped out while flat-broke by a Level 1 Tank. "Yeah, that was sloppy, Aaron," He began, checking a respawn timer on his watch for the umpteenth time that day. "An Assassin versus a Tank, pistol against a digistruct cannon... abilities get more unpredictable by the minute..." The student mentally kicked himself again as the countdown finally hit zero, a soft beeping emanating from the timekeeping device on his wrist. With that, Fletcher made his way to the bed and laid down, logging into Deep Ground Online in the process.

"Here we go again..."

Welcome to Deep Ground Online, Nyx. You have respawned in Faded City's Sanctuary.

Nyx

Nyx arose from his sitting position, the mask of a demonic skull resting over his face, it's strange yet comforting embrace bringing back the memories of his most recent death at the hands of something that could take a hit from Vendetta, then return the blow. The moment of combat played in front of his vision again as he set to dusting his suit off.

"Easy, a lone Outlaw... heavy armor, no weapons that are visible... let's go." Nyx muttered from his aerial position. He dropped the distance, suffering the slight amount of fall damage with little consideration. "Euphoria will restore that, no big deal." The assassin activated Vendetta, all traces of him disappearing, then weaved his way through the crowd at a rapid pace. He took hold of his trusty, suppressed pistol hidden in his suit, positioned the barrel less than an inch from his target's head, then squeezed the trigger.

Not only did the female tank, well... tank the blow, she turned around as a massive railgun began forming in her hands. Nyx gulped and attempted to start firing on the Outlaw again as the weapon finished constructing, and began to whirr with building power. The assassin got barely three shots off before he simply ceased to exist in Deep Ground... along with the ten unlucky folks behind him. He was at least 90% sure the woman hit level 2 off of that killing spree.

Nyx flicked the last speck of dust from his sleeve and checked his ammo reserves, cursing under his breath at the nearly depleted magazine in his firearm. Lacking any amount of EXP in a heavily populated city was like walking around with a target on your back. "Well, might as well take a look around." With that, he took off down the road, regularly checking a blade he kept in his sleeve as if to appear slightly intimidating. Truth was, he'd have to activate Vendetta and run a good distance in a random direction if a threat made itself apparent.

On what was probably his seventh check of the knife that was certainly still there, he managed to bump into the back of a blonde-haired, headphone-wearing boy conversing with a girl. "Sorry, friend. I wasn't watching where I was go- Hey, I've heard of you. Unrelenting Jukebox, or something like that?" The assassin asked, sheathing the blade and crossed his arms. He'd almost been crushed a few times by the guy's shenanigans, but he was very effective in his method of elimination. Not many could say they can efficiently kill things with nothing but gravity and a rock.

Nao Fukui

After her interactions with Smitten kitten and C.C, Nao actually logged off and began playing games in bed till she passed out, she was playing the story to some game she gotten out a discount bin from some game store she went to once in a while, when she woke up she had the controller in one hand and it was running out of juice. Nao lazily tried to reach the cord of the controller without getting out of the bed, she didn't feel like getting out the bed on a saturday, while she reached for the cord she could see her hand was just out of reach of it and then just groaned feeling angry.

The heterochromic girl crawled out of bed and out of her covers feeling a draft on her legs in her small container home. Nao groaned before she connected the now dead controller into the console, she jumped back into her bed and wrapped her self in her covers, she put her head under her pillow, when she tried to go back to sleep she felt like she was too awake to sleep, Nao just laid in her bed trying to sleep but couldn't when her alarm clock ran out saying it was 6 in the morning Nao threw her covers off her body and got up." That was a good not sleep, I need to do that more." she spoke to herself.

Nao stood up straight and clapped both her hands together." Time for some morning exercises." The heterochromic girl got onto the floor and got herself ready for push ups, she did a single push up before she stopped and stood up." Done." Nao went over to her gaming chair only wanting to sleep, but something told her not to go back to sleep. Nao leaned back into the chair wondering if she should just binge play a bunch of games for the whole day or play some DGO, she figured she might just do half of both, she would play some console or pc games then moving onto DGO, she then thought if she should just spend the whole day in DGO, then she remembered that she would get kicked out and have to wait if she tried to play all day and just chose to play some console games instead of getting kicked in DGO.

Student President Yoshino Tsugumi

By the time Yoshino had logged out of DGO, Retsu was already gone. Blinking, she searched around her dorm room before noticing a note on her bed, the contents of which stated that the other girl had gone out to gather supplies for breakfast and that she would be back soon. Well at least she had the courtesy to make her bed instead of leaving it a mess.

With a sigh, Yoshino quickly got to work in cleaning herself up with a short shower. The thoughts of this false Black King still kept her mind distant and she had to wonder if this was the work of the Corpse Collector. These ideas persisted even still when Yoshino got dressed and was drawn attention to someone at her front door. Thinking it was Retsu, she hurried up her pace and walked over to greet the other girl. What she got instead was a frowning Eris.

“Good morning Miss Reinhardt. Apologies as I was getting dressed when you called out. Is there a reason why you’re here to see me?” she asked with no emotion. She could already guess this girl was out to cause more trouble for her so she didn’t have high hopes in terms of discussion quality.

Elsewhere, Nao Fukui would receive a message containing information to ready herself at midnight. The Corpse Collector had discussed her plan with her cohorts the night prior, having put enough trust in Nao and Smitten Kitten to get them involved. Apparently her superiors were getting tired of waiting. So the natural reaction was to obviously push their plans forward to get them over with, right?

Whatever was going to transpire, it was to happen at midnight and not a moment later. Even now rogues, Player Killers, and all sorts of unsightly Avatars were spreading the news that something big was to take place in the area surrounding the Ebony Stryker’s territory.

Eris Reinhardt & Yoshino Tsugumi

@KoL & @TheWindel

As soon as Yoshino answered the door, she found Eris with a seriously displeased look in her eyes, the blonde's were arms crossed under her chest while she taped a foot on the floor. The very image of impatience, if one had ever seen it. Anyway, the moment after the Student President greeted her, Eris shifted her weight to her other leg and run her bandaged hand through her hair, flipping it nonchalantly, before answering, "Well, good morning to you too, Yoshino Tsugumi. No matter how brief I may want to be, the matters I came here to discuss aren't the best to talk about in one's doorstep, so may I come in, at least?"

Yoshino held back a sigh and a roll of her eyes. Honestly it was just best to let the girl in lest she cause a scene. It was a good thing Retsu was gone for the moment because there was no doubt in Yoshino's mind that she would have only made things worse. Without a word, Yoshino beckoned Eris inside her home, sitting on the living room couch with a neutral expression.

"Are you satisfied enough to tell me why you're here? Seeing as what you have to say is so calling for secrecy," Yoshino said with the barest slivers of sarcasm.

"I don't know if you are aware of this morning's online incident or not, but you might as well be, given your ties to Moon Rider." Eris said, cutting right to the chase, as her eyes scanned Yoshino's living room more out of a habit of analyzing whatever place she were to find herself in than anything else. Eventually, Eris' gaze would meet Yoshino's before she continued her explanation, wondering when the dark-haired girl would offer her at least a courtesy tea. "Someone, most likely the Corpse Collector, seems to be after your life, or at least your continued health. I came here most out of concern for you."

"Furthermore, they threatened Cassandra as well, but this is a situation I can deal on my own, unless you happen to know more about it. So, do you?" Eris asked, for the time omitting the fact that they had tried to kill, or do god knows what to her, less than two hours ago.

The Student President listened to Eris' words with crossed arms. If the blonde girl was expecting to be catered and handed tea like a princess, she would have to wait a little longer. Yoshino had no intention of extending pleasantries on official business. Besides, this whole fake Black King business did not put her in the best of moods.

"I'm aware that there is a false Moon Rider running around, though to what extent their damage is, I don't know," she said evenly. "Obviously whoever is behind it have considerable influence in the real world to have threatened both you and Cassandra. It could be the Corpse Collector, but I doubt it's the case. My client has encountered that hacker numerous times and trust me, that's not her style."

• • •

"Perhaps I should do a brief explanation of what happened, then." Eris crossed her legs and rested her hands over her lap, looking all the more royal like, before continuing "As it turns out, I logged on Deep Ground this morning and sought Moon Rider. I was looking for information regarding a certain unique NPC that seems to be somewhere on the Black City. Does the name Storyteller remembers you of anything?" Eris said before shooting a fixed gaze toward Yoshino, she wasn't going to press the Student President on the matter of her identity, but surely a comment like that so out of the left field should draw a reaction (even if minute) if that was the case, unless Yoshino was made of ice, that is.

Yoshino tilted her head in interest but otherwise kept her demeanor in check. She reached up to adjust her glasses, eyes staring at Eris' shoulder before saying, "Yes, I've heard of the name once or twice. Supposedly my client claims to have encountered this Storyteller within the game."

Well, leaving the frigid reputation of the Student President behind, Eris took her gaze away from Yoshino and continued, "When I began to explain the situation Moon Rider I was taken by surprise for the fact that she not only knew my real life information, but also knew about Cassandra's and mine relationship. They specifically set up things so that I came here and killed you with my own hands, but you don't need to fear, since I have no weapons, nor any other means of harming you right now."

That bit of information made Yoshino tense, eyes narrowing. Yes, she was certain now that this wasn't the work of the Corpse Collector. Granted she knew the hacker wanted to end the lives of both her and Moon Rider, but to be honest she was much too incompetent to factor a real plan into play like this.

"Well I'm glad to see you have some semblance of a thought process," Yoshino couldn't help but retort; indeed, had Eris chosen a different path, things might have been more violent than they should have been. "So this was what the false Moon Rider did before I was informed of their presence? Seems you're dealing with a hacker who actually knows what they're doing...and is willing to do it," she mused, her own thoughts whirring.

"You seem to forgot whose scores are always right beside yours, in every exam, Yoshino Tsugumi. I'm not going to let myself be controlled by anyone, much less when they want to ruin Cassandra's life as well, not after I have come to terms with my own feelings." Eris retorted, since Yoshino insisted on keeping her obnoxiously cold behavior regarding her. Couldn't she show at least a bit of humanity to Eris after all this time?

This time, Yoshino did sigh. Of course, the blonde girl just had to make mention of her constant "rivalry" with her. If it could even be considered that...still, her information was valuable to an extent and would no doubt be used in the future.

• • •

After finally doing what she had dome here to do, Eris felt that was little use in her continued presence on Yoshino's room, especially when she still had to meet Cassandra online. "All that I had to say has been said, so I'll take my leave. Farewell, Yoshino Tsugumi." Eris said while getting back to her feet and waited for Yoshino to take her back to the door. The very least bit of politeness that was expected of an honor student such as she was supposed to be.

Yoshino did just that, her indifference towards Eris all the more stifling. Honestly, the blonde girl was nothing short of arrogant to assume they were anything alike and that Yoshino had to spare any sort of expense on her...she was getting ahead of herself again. For some reason, Eris just sort of annoyed her to no end but she kept that thought to herself for now.

"Farewell Miss Reinhardt. If you have nothing else to speak to me about, I'll see you on your way," said Yoshino. She waited by the door, knowing Eris couldn't help but put in another quip or question or something towards her. In the end, the blonde just had to always have the last word.

"Well, then. Until the next week, I guess, Yoshino Tsugumi." Eris said casually before taking a step outside and finally leaving.

Eclipse Princess

After being done with Yoshino, Eris rented a room at a fairly expensive hotel, she didn't wanted to go back to her own dormitory and risk running at either the same assailants, since she was't sure sure any of them had really died. Perhaps expending the weekend at a hotel would be best to guarantee her safety, a least here they had cameras and decent locks on the doors.

Anyway, after a late morning breakfast, or early lunch, Eris relaxed herself, trying to ignore the small bit of paranoia about what could happen if the previous incident happened now that she had no means of defending herself, and finally undressed (since she didn't wanted to ruin a new dress) before logging on Deep Ground.

• • •

"If I become a prisoner of fear, I'll never be able to accomplish anything." Eclipse Princess said to herself and then sighed as she walked out of Moon Rider's throne room. Right now she had another objective in mind (finding Cassandra's avatar) and couldn't care less about other issues.

Nevertheless, she left behind a voice message for Moon Rider to listen whenever she decided to log back in. Said message was, "Greetings, Moon Rider, hopefully this message will be received by the real one. I'm Eclipse Princess, but I bet you know that already, not? Anyway, I have two things to say. First, I still want to meet with you personally to ask about The Storyteller and perhaps my joining of your guild. Second... hire better guards, if anyone can waltz in your sanctum and feign being you, you should reconsider your security. By the way, since she seems to listen to you, tell Yoshino Tsugumi to be less tense. She should remember she's not the only one who has problems on the other side, isolating herself won't solve them. I said all I had to, until we meet again, farewell."

With that said, Eclipse Princess sprinted off of the Black City, using her usual method of transportation, that is, jumping between the roofs of the tall building that dotted the city, using her superior speed and natural Berserker strength to clear gaps larger than most could with ease.

• • •

Eventually, Eclipse Princess ran on a group of two Rogues and a Healer, talking by the streets bellow her current elevation. Princess paused for a moment, to try to overhear their conversation, before noticing it was mostly small talk and decided to try and get them to assist her with a quest or two, while she searched for Cassandra.

A moment later Eclipse Princess appeared from amidst a shadowy corner, unarmed and with her hands extended in a 'negotiation stance', before saying, "Do any of you have anything important to do right now? I was about to delve into a dungeon that lies nearby and wondered if any or all of you wanted to join me?"

"However, I warn you, the challenge of my typical quests is high but the rewards are worth it." Eclipse Princess let them take a good look at her equipment <<Regalia of the Serpent>> being next to unique, since Eris had never even once heard of someone that managed to assemble the full set. "If you wish to, just accept this quest", Eris said as she shared with them a quest:

LAB 64 [Lvl 5, Dungeon, Very Hard]

"Get into the secret lab, stop the production of weapons and destroy <<DM MkIV Prototype>>."

Reward: ???.

Welcome, Arms Slave

"Aaaaaalright! Where my boyz at! Junkyard Dog, Cerulean Knight, Ash Roller, Strawberry Baby, and Jet Rhino are your squad leader, henceforth their squads are known as Bone Yard, Calvary, Rider, Hammer, and Yamato respectively. Pile on or get into your own War Machine, we ride out in one hour!"

Arms Slave had taken it upon himself to gather up some of the Ebon Strykers, mostly Sweepers and his friends, and to take them out to hunt Dissolutions. Outlaws were all well and good, but most of these characters were newbies that Arms Slave was training for their loyalty. The Squad Leaders however were a match for himself, some potentially stronger than he was. But strength in Deep Ground didn't matter as much as one's own charisma and ability to lead. Even if Arms Slave couldn't hold a candle to Moon Rider, if he leads her players, then they will see him as the leader. Or so he hopes.

There was, of course, a secondary objective to this. Arms Slave wasn't merely trying to help out the newbies; he was trying to lure out the Corpse Collector. Such a large group of relatively low-level players would surely attract her attention, as most outlaws are at least somewhat familiar with Arms Slave and his vigilante ways to stay away. At least Arms Slave certainly hopes so after such a long work record, as most of his EXP came from Sweeper Work. Truth of the matter is, he rarely does PvE these days, so it would be quite strange to see him of all people participate in monster hunting. Still with such a large concentration of new characters ripe for the picking, Corpse Collector is sure to show up to bloody their noses, but with Arms Slave leading them he was certain that they won't fall. Not as long as they stay near him.

As Arms Slave was looking for players, he remembered Yuuno. That fight from the pizza parlor surely left a bad impression on her... He hoped maybe he could make it up to her. He couldn't leave home today due to having to rest up his stab wound, but perhaps he could play with her in Deep Ground? Hoping that this could be his chance, he sent her an message.

To: Yuuno Kurogami
From: Asahi Goroshi
Subject: Wanna party?
Hey Yuuno, it's me, Asahi. I know things got pretty messed up yesterday at the pizza parlor, and I'm sorry for getting you and everyone else caught up in that. I can't really leave my house today since I need to heal up, but I'm in Deep Ground Right now. I'm getting some players together and helping them level up. I was thinking maybe we could play together, and I can try to explain to you why and what happened yesterday. Even if you can't make it, I'll give you my location so you can come find me.

There was still time before the group was going to leave, so Arms Slave and a few other players went out for more recruitment. While advertised as a training session for new players, any character of any level was welcomed to join with them as long as they were on their best behavior. Arms Slave himself tried to recruit a couple of level 3 players to ensure the trap he made for Corpse Collector had a greater chance of success, but everyone seemed to be busy. At some point he ran across a level 1 warrior by the name Neron, perfect for the group to train and to use as bait. Arms Slave fired a chain at the wall near him, swinging down before landing in front of the warrior.

"Greetings! I see that you're fairly new to Deep Ground! The name's Arms Slave, Sweeper of the Ebon Strykers. Me and a couple of other players are about to head out to do some level grinding. Want to tag along?"

@OldManWong@KoL

Retsu had left Yoshino's dorm early that morning. She wasn't used to not waking up to her alarm, so she woke up about ten minutes later than usual, though still fairly early for a weekend. She left Yoshino's dorm quietly, but not after making some breakfast for her, and then returning to her own dorm with her clothes and Yoshino's bedsheet. At her dorms Retsu prepared her own breakfast of cereal and coffee. But she would get very little rest as messages started flooding her inbox. "One thing at a time." Retsu organized most of the mail by relevance; a lot of it was just reports from the Sweepers, and while they certainly needed to be checked they mostly just concerned who was or was not killed yet. There were also new bounties that the Erasers could give to the Cleaners, more things that Retsu hardly was concerned about. What really caught her eye however was a message from one of her Erasers.

None of the Erasers knew each other in real life, even with such programs like Cherry Hunter, and eve fewer even knew their in-character avatars. Retsu had that disadvantage as most of the Sweepers knew her as Dark Wraith, thus painting a target on her should they ever chose to gang up on her. Fortunately Retsu has a fairly deep connection with each of her Erasers. At least deep enough to know that none of them like each other enough to oppose her, either due to personal grievances or business. After all, not all the Erasers were part of the Ebon Strykers. The Sweepers still had quite a few agents among the other guilds, though in secret obviously. And it was one of these Erasers from another guild that told Retsu something very troublesome.

This Eraser knew who Moon Rider was, thanks to a bug they planted in the Black King's throne room. Retsu wasn't too bothered by the bug; even if she didn't order anyone to do so, Retsu was bound to put one herself. No, she was more concerned that not only did this Eraser knew who Moon Rider really was, that that also implied that Moon Rider revealed her identity to someone. That's when another name came up: Eclipse Princess and Cassandra. This only brought more headache on Retsu.

Retsu knew Eclipse Princess as Eris. She has seen her in the past and scanned her with the Cherry Hunter, but that information wasn't relevant until now. And it was certainly Eris when the name Cassandra was dropped. The same Cassandra (Probably) who was with them at the pizza parlor yesterday. Retsu rubbed her temples in frustration. "What was Yoshino thinking!? Trying to threaten a hit on Cassandra like some sort of immature child!" But Retsu would soon take back those words when she realized when this meeting happened. Just recently, before Retsu was even awake. Could have Yoshino gotten on Deep Ground while Retsu was asleep? Surely not... But then again Yoshino wasn't sleeping in her room when Retsu was away. She must have stayed in the guest bedroom. This uncertainty made Retsu frustrated.

Regardless, Retsu needed to act. First thing she did was message a few of her cronies to go to Eris's dormitory and check up on her. They needed to be subtle about it, so they were given the cover of checking to see if her hand had healed. Retsu remembered Eris's hand was injuries at some point, so these girls would be sent to ensure she was alright, with bandages and medicine. However they were also to observe and obtain any information about Eris, if she was acting paranoid or even too uneasy. She also sent a girl to check up on Cassandra, this one who was actually a discipline officers of Purple Crown. Her cover would be investigating the fight at the pizza parlor, which at this point there was already some information in the local forums. To no surprise, it came from Asahi insulting and boasting those who came to fight him.

Retsu suppose she could make use of her brother as well. She couldn't be too obvious about it however, so Retsu sent an anonymous e-mail to one of her other Sweeper Agents to pass a message along to Asahi or Arms Slave, whichever was more convenient. She sent it in the typical fashion: No sender, no subject, and only a list of names. The first list were marks, and the second list were other Sweepers recommended for the job. Of course only Arms Slave would be available, since Retsu just sent two of the other Sweepers on the list to go check up on Eris and Cassandra.

With that finished there was only one thing left to do. Sighing, Retsu went and readied herself to enter Deep Ground. She briefly considered visiting Yoshino, but right now it was too soon to do something so drastic. Besides, people may start talking if Retsu and Yoshino were seen together so often. Looking down at the bedsheet Retsu took from Yoshino's room, she clutched it close to her and sniffed it. Her dirty desire. Tossing said bedsheet into a laundry hamper, Retsu made sure to lock up her dorm and entered Deep Ground.

Welcome, Dark Wraith

Dark Wraith found herself in the Black City, standing on a rooftop. Down Below she could see various players amassing around War Machines as if they were getting ready for a raid. Dark Wraith was going to need to make sure they didn't plan to wage their own war against the guilds. While technically enemies, they haven't shown any hostilities to one another yet. Dark Wraith would prefer to keep it that way until they build up their own power base. Now that she thought of it, Dark Wraith was going to need some more reliable members to watch her back. The Sweepers were tools, and more troublesome tools that other Erasers could use. If she tried to take one of the Cleaners or even Sweepers under her wing, surely the other Erasers would do the same. No, she needed someone outside of the Sweepers, even outside of the Ebon Strykers. She needed a gun-for-hire.

So she called for an outlaw.

Nies hellum waited for Jukebox to reply, as someone bumped into him, not appearing to noticing Nies-although she was use to that. So glancing about she saw someone else joining them, approaching them in an unarmed way not that nies would have attacked them anyway, she gave a welcoming smile. They asked if jukebox and herself had any plans, and as their plans were loosely based on finding something to do, this seemed like a good opportunity.

Although the quest seemed a tad high level, Nies didn't particularly want to seem worried. It was clear the person had done these before, and experience could mean a lot in any time of quest, or dungeon. And here was, potentially, four of them. Nies studied the share request, particularly interested in the avatar name. eclipse princess, huh. Nies couldn't help another smile crossing her face, well, sometimes life just gives you what you want, doesn't it? of course, there was no confirmation at this being Eris, but Eris's own hints pointed towards that being so.

And the behavior, Cassandra didn't know if it was because she knew Eris outside the game well or not, but she figured she'd know Eris by her behaviour. Briefly Cassandra wondered if Eris would recognize her. "sure" she said, accepting the quest. "I'm meant to be searching for someone, but perhaps I've already met them and don't know it." it was, perhaps too easily, a hint. And a way to confirm that it was Eris, really.

She glanced to the other two, mainly jukebox as she was more familiar with him, to see if they would join in on the quest as well. It would, Cassandra figured, be a good chance for her to practice her healing abilities, and really to see how a dungeon was run.

Welcome Crimson Outlaw Kisa

She had spent so long in the game that day that she had only ever gotten up to eat, and even then she kept the chat window up while she was cooking. Sure this may have been important but the main reason behind it was more to do with trying to keep her mind off of what happened yesterday. If the police found out she was there she was sure that they would end up blaming her in the end. With a deep sigh she started to pour out the rice into the rice cooker and close the rid, only to get a small 'ping' from her in game mail box.

"Hmmm? Ah another job offer."

She thought about refusing the job simply out of not feeling like it and yet for some reason, maybe the name or a spark of battle lust, she wanted to see where this was going. Entering into the mail box she took pause and wondered where she had heard the name before, but either way it didn't matter. A job was a job after all so she answered in the standard way.

I always meet in person for any kind of job. One hour within the Black City Sanctuary it is. See you there.

Cooking up and eating her meal within that time would be a piece of cake, she was kinda glad they were fine with meeting in an hour so it put her in a good mood. After entering back into the game fully she shook her head to clear her mind of the half login before she took note of where she was meant to be. Heading for the Black City Sanctuary she was careful to stick to the shadows, checking names to see where her client was, after all it would be better if they showed up first, trust and all that... After they arrive she would move up towards them, a curt nod in greeting before she would ask the golden question.

"You called for me. So now I must ask; what is it you need of me?"

Unrelenting Jukebox

“A dungeon diving quest does sound fun, might get some nice loot at the end of it and I would love to finally level up. Imagine it, Level 4. Yeah, well, if our glorious King doesn’t want us to ride sick motorbikes, then he should get rid of all the ones in the garage and put it in the guild rules or something...” still pouting about all the bikes Verdant Grin had destroyed, Jukebox was rather surprised when a demon... skull... headed guy.

“Uhh... no problem, Sir Skull. Yes, I gotta say though I didn’t know I was so famous! Wow, I suppose I can’t help but be eye, I mean ear, catching~♪” with a casual grin Jukebox raised an eyebrow when yet another player entered into the conversation, she was skilled enough to have a full matching set of equipment and it looked rather... revealing truth be told. Still she conveniently provided a little quest and dungeon dive to play through so he can’t complain.

“A quest? Well, what reason do I have to reject? EXP is never a bad thing, although I gotta ask, how will we split the loot? I mean I’m not super passionate about loot, most of my stuff is Joke equipment, but still even the stuff useless to me may have use to others and I don’t want us to be fighting over this stuff in the middle of a dungeon where all hell can break loose. Plus I don't want to suffer an EXP penalty as a result" with his ever present grin, Jukebox honestly had no problems, since people generally didn't want Joke weapons.
