@ExpolarIt'd probably take a while to get there(unless he plans to blow up the whole area) but I guess that could be interesting. Of course, how would he even know the area exists in the first place, or that Dawn and Nidhogg were there?

Ferrin: "Or, applying a bit of Brain Power,

Fact 1: Asshat is gone

Fact 2: Dawn is gone

Fact 3: The dome was still up, so he could not go left, right or up.

Fact 4: The ground where they all were is suspiciously disturbed."

Given that, Ferrin would hypothesize that he went underground, and move the earth with earth magic. Even if wasn't there, it would not hurt to check.

Edit: "Fact 5: If I was a megalomaniac with creepy undead powers, first direction I would think of, when trying to escape is down."

@Crimson RavenDome is completely made of shadow now, so that's invalid, but fair enough. Though I counter by saying that given what Ferrin has seen of Nidhogg's abilities, he makes a lot of holes in the ground when he summons up his bone spikes.

@ZarkunDidn't know about the magic senses, in which case, makes more than enough sense that he'd know that two people are down there, and if Ferrin gives his two cents on the matter, he can piece enough together to see that he needs to intervene. Still will take time to get there(a mile or 3/4 of a mile seem like a good estimate) unless drastic action is taken.

Also, if someone could somehow convince Grant to have a heart, he'd probably be able to save Prince. Or at least move him from "Mortally wounded" to "Critically-wounded-but-will-live-with-decent-healthcare."

That's, unfortunately, never going to happen ever.

Pfffft yeah right. When cats fly!

Oh wait...

I mean that'll happen when he decides to turn to being in a Light Guild and have tea and crumpets with Karn. Which is never.

The trouble is, if Uriel did just heal him without permission given that there has been a refusal, it could probably kill him anyway.

I was planning that after that shadows are gone, he would try to repair the damage from the battle with arc of time. But senses something still living underground (since Grane's arc of time doesn't effect any living things). Using magic vision to see underground, he would notice the bones and flesh that are underground two people there too. Wondering what is going on, Grane would teleport down and to investigate.

I suppose that will be a reason why Ferrin would talk to Grane and probably join him when he teleports underground. But Unlike Time Lord, Grane can only effect non living things his time magic, which might be a bummer for Ferrin. Grane might be strong and has a large collection of magic that he can use, but because he knows so much he only prioritizes on mastering a few than all. Arc of time would be one that he's still trying to learn.

@ExpolarI'm pretty sure Nidhogg would register as half-living due to his nature, but all in all, sounds all right to me. Just be sure to give me time to respond to Seraphs post before sending the big guy down. Given his power, Nidhogg will probably throw a huge attack at the two to kill/seriously injure/stall them while he makes his escape.

@Expolar

*Ferrin to Grant after learning of Dawn's abilities.*

"Alright, here is the plan. I perpare a massive fire spell. We teleport down there, I release the fireball, and we teleport back. Kablooie. Asshat gets roasted alive, while Sunshine survives because he is immune to heat. We teleport back, grab the kid, and sweep up the ashes. Problem solved."

Me: Damn. Ferrin is ruthless.

Sure, of course. I've been curious what Nidhogg would do in your next post.
