"Yeah yeah." the feminine boy rolled his eyes while staring at the food that was being given to them. As the line moved up, Khalil giggled softly while his brother explained as to why they haven't hugged as of yet. It was true, they haven't seen each-other in years so his twin brother might have forgotten how to treat Khalil, totally understandable, but if they haven't seen each-other in years then why not hug it out? "Well, let's just forget about that and let's get something to eat because I am really really starving and I want some food in my system." the girly boy told his brother while removing his brother's arm from his shoulder and grabbing a tray for some food. Khalil turned his head slightly towards his brother before raising an eyebrow, smiling while speaking in a curiously tone of voice. "Sooooooo, what do you think the academy is going to be like? Oh my, I wonder whose going to be in our classrooms. I hope there aren't any bullies or anything. I cannot stand them." he rolled his eyes while cuffing a string of his hair behind his ear, continuing to talk to his brother, as he was now babbling about.

"And! I wonder what kind of missions we are going to get. Oh, this is so exciting!" he squealed in a girly way as a few males stared at him for a second before walking away. Khalil ignored them and hopefully his brother would too. He was a bit over-protective of Khalil.

Gri simply grinned at him before allowing his arm to be removed and then took his own tray of food. He looked at it with what seems to be wonder in his eyes. "Now this is quality food." He muttered, as if he hasn't seen this 'quality food' for quite a long time. And it was just a simple lunch meal that anyone could get from anywhere if they could just go outside. Unfortunately, the Atlas Military was very strict about their diet so they had to eat mostly meat and vegetables... and some rice to add. Now, he can relax and just eat these kinds of stuff to his heart's content.

Even though half of his attention was given to his food which he might be drooling at right now, he still had half of it to his brother who was now babbling. When Khalil became like this, he would simply shut up and listen to him, occasionally giving comments when it is needed but overall more quiet than he should be. At the mention of bullies, however, he gave a shrug and said, "Even if there are bullies, I'm sure everyone can handle themselves well here. We're not going to be hunters and huntresses if we're too weak to be bullied." He pointed out. Well, he did have truth in his words. Being a hunter or huntress is a dangerous job which involves fighting the Grimm. If you can't defeat a human, what hope can you have against the Grimm?

"I would imagine that we won't be alone in our first assignment. It would be far too dangerous don't you think?" He pointed out as he averted his gaze from the food and towards Khalil. When he let out a girly laugh, Gri immediately notice most of the boys had stopped to stare at her. He then responded with a glare towards them but he didn't do anything physical, unlike before where he would speak up. He was much more mature now so he knew better than to do that and cause a scene. "What made you want to become a hunter anyway? Last I checked, you weren't interested in it." Well, if he thought about it, the last time he checked was six years ago making his information very outdated.

When Seth said they were at the ballroom Alice felt relief. She waited for Seth to say the cost is clear, and when he did she started to walk inside. "Could you stand outside and maybe warn me if someone is coming, or try to keep them out?" she asked Seth before closing the ballroom door and walking over to her stuff. She pulled out a fresh set of clothes, and took off Seth's hoodie and her wet clothes. She than began to put on her fresh non-wet clothes. Once done she placed everything in her bag, and exited through the door Seth was waiting at. "Thanks for helping me... You can go now if you want." Alice said sort of hoping they can keep hanging out. Seth is so far the closet thing she has to a friend at this school, but she knows most people wouldn't want to hang out with someone as weird as her.

Shirako was a little surprised after being so suddenly addressed, however it wouldn't show if she tried. "Hmm...?" She spins around to face the woman before her, analyzing her and entering a profile. 'She doesn't appear dangerous... Re-engage CPU - learning of personality traits: active.' Her eyes seem to come to life, or at the very least brighten, staring silently at the girl a moment longer. Yet, a moment before it got awkward, Shirako replies: "Yes, I am lost. I haven't had the time to create a mental map of the school yet. Your offer has been acknowledged and well-appreciated."

Her face doesn't shift in form, nor does her tone of voice change in any way. However, she seems incredibly focused on Chelsea and the conversation at hand. The truth was simply that Shirako was studying, racking her brain to try and figure out how to humanely emote. And Chelsea was her handbook!

Mell walks along the sidewalks having completely missed the greeting speeches. Walking freely around campus wearing his thin black leather collar, a pair of simple tennis shoes and a little black dress that fell to his knees with is hair clipped to the side. He felt he was cute but ultimately he was lost. Confused. He stumbled around until he saw a pair of students running away he decided to follow them. Maybe they could help. They wound up in a ballroom and he stood away hoping to talk to them when they came back out.

Seth nodded when Alice asked him to keep watch while she was inside the ballroom. He didn't have to wait long for her to came back out. Seth shrugged when she said he could leave.

"I'm just heading to the cafeteria to grab a bit to eat. If you want to tag along," Seth explained before he sniffed the air again.

"We're not too far away from the cafeteria," Seth said before he headed towards the building that housed the cafeteria. He stopped when he noticed another student and asked, "you lost too?"

Shirakos words slightly confused Chelsea, but she decided not to go into detail about it. Chelsea nodded before she turned around to get back on her previous route. "Great, I'll lead the way then!"
As they were on their way to the cafeteria Chelsea looked at Shirako for a few seconds. She still had the same expression on her face from before, it didn't change a bit. She seems a little weird. Then Chelsea stopped in her tracks all of a sudden. "Silly me, I completely forgot to introduce myself!" She turned around once more and with a beaming smile she said "I am Chelsea, nice to meet you."

Shirako stares silently without a word. It was almost as though she were trying to peer into her soul! Those sapphire blue eyes of hers seemed so... devoid. It's like there was nothing but a shell within. No, it was like staring at a solid blue wall - that analogy fir much better. It doesn't look back, and it doesn't reflect anything, nor does it seemingly absorb anything. It's just... there!

'Name added to profile database: Chelsea. General personality type: kind. Signs of dark intentions: none. Constructing mental profiel... Profile complete. Creating personality type 03 - name type: 03.Chelsea. Continuing persona evaluation...'

Thoughts whirred around in Shirako's head as she blinks, apparently waking up from her daydream-like state, or so it would appear to Chelsea. "Apologies. It appears I forgot to initiate a formal greeting upon our encounter as well. I still have much to learn when it comes to people." She bows slightly to the cream-haired girl, a greeting Shirako took from one of her memory files when she passed by some people in Vale. Unknown to anyone in Beacon, she was actually mimicking the bow to perfection, through the use of complex mathematics and video-audio memory. "My name is Shirako Grey. It is pleasing to meet you." She finishes her short bow as soon as she states her name, looking straight into Chelsea's eyes once again as she searches her for a response. "I am sorry if I appear, as you may perceive, to be awkward. I am not well-versed in the ways of... socializing." Although she had already said it earlier, she wanted to make sure the point got across, in the hopes that she could get along with Chelsea.

Seth walked towards the cafeteria. He figured the new student would follow him since he seemed rather lost. As for Alice, she seemed to be more comfortable then when Seth first met her. He wasn’t sure why, but he didn’t care. The smell of the food in the cafeteria enticed him as his stomach rumbled. When he reached the doors of the cafeteria he placed one of his hands on the door and stopped.

“What happens if my semblance activates? What then? All I know is it turns me into,” Seth said to himself as he remembered how scared the villagers were when he emerged from the medical tent back in his village. They treated him like an animal that went wild. They looked at him like he was a Grimm in human skin. Seth took a deep breath to calm himself. No, I can’t keep running from this. I came here to learn about it, to understand it, but most importantly: to control it Seth thought before push the door open.

The cafeteria was massive. It could fit the entire city inside of it and still have room for people to move around. On either side were tables with an assortment of food. The pillars keeping the roof stabilized had lights string to them. The light spun and flashed several different colors. Each flash went along with the beat of the music that was controlled by a wearing a bear mask over his head.

“Damn,” Seth said in amazement as he added, “They really decked this place out. Guess they want to welcome us in style. Guess the geezer Ozpin knows how to party after all.”

“Indeed Mr. Rush, I definitely know how to party,” Ozpin said as he walked into the cafeteria before he added, “However, I can do without being called a geezer.” He looked at all three students before he walked towards a large table with the other instructors.

"Can you put more of that please? I would like more mashed potatoes, those are my favorite." he giggled softly as the lunch-lady continued to put some more on his plate. He might have had a curvaceous body and pretty healthy, but that didn't mean that Khalil wasn't going to eat all the food that he wants. It's free food and he shouldn't let it go to waste, besides he loves mashed potatoes. Khalil nodded before walking towards a table with his brother, as soon as his brother gathered up his food as well. Now, to answer his question. "I always wanted to be a hunter. I wanted to protect you and others." he'd nod with an answer to his brother's question before walking towards the empty table to sit down.

Gri didn't order anything else from what was served to him, nor did he ask for more. He had drilled in his mind to never take more than what he needed and this would suffice for his nutrient needs. He then headed for the empty table as well and promptly sat down on the bench. He placed his tray on the table and then clapped his hands together and stayed silent with his eyes closed. Perhaps a prayer of some sort? He then put them down after a certain amount of time and then smiled at Khalil. "I wish I had that kind of dream. You know that the only reason I became a hunter was because I look up to mother." The gray haired male said with a chuckle as he started to eat.

A wave of flavor rushed into his mouth. It was much too long since he last ate bacon, eggs and a jam sandwich. It was such a simple thing but given his treatment back in the base where all he'd eat was a mash of something that didn't even taste like anything, this could have been heaven. A smile formed on his lips as he continued to eat, momentarily forgetting to converse with his brother.

Alice followed Seth to the cafeteria, and was not prepared for the size of it. It was huge you could fit another whole building inside it. She looked around and saw a bunch of other students. Alice felt a bit nervous being around so many people especially after falling into the water fountain, but she was hungry and the food was here and free too. She walked over grabbed a tray got some food and started looking for the table with fewest people at it. She chose a table which had two people at it one had done a prayer or so it appeared, and the other was either a guy or girl Alice couldn't tell which but she was suspected a girl because of body shape, feminine features, and the outfit. Alice sat at the far end of the table not wanting to bother the two who wereally talking.

This place is really big. Cyra was both in utter awe and slightly intimidated by the sheer grandeur of Beacon. Everything had a very different feel to it than things had had at Solona. There, everything was low and sprawled out, with many dusty browns from the windstorms that blew in off the savannah. Everything was close, comforting, and warm.

Beacon, by contrast, was bright and towering, made to be the apex of the kingdom, a literal beacon of hope amidst the dark forests that surrounded it. Lofty spires and grand arches dominated the skyline, set atop a cliff as though the very structure itself were a grand sentinel watching over the city below.

And Cyra was utterly lost. The gardens were certainly lovely, filled with various scents from the flowers that soothed her frazzled nerves, but other than that everything looked exactly the same to her. How could anyone find their way around such a place?

Eventually she spied a pair of girls she recognized from the welcome ceremony, the first with long red hair and headphones, the second wearing a dark purple cloak and two-toned blue hair. She didn’t know their names, and her mother had taught her that eavesdropping was rude, but for lack of any option, she followed them, hoping that their path might lead to the ballroom.

She needed to see if there was some place close to it where she could sleep safely.

Chelsea was hoping that the girl would tell her her name, but when she still just stared at her with those sapphire colored eyes of hers. "Is something wrong?" After Shirako was done processing the data she recorded she finally blinked, 'waking up from her daydream'. The girl apologised for not introducing herself either before and started her introduction with a polite bow. "My name is Shirako Grey. It is pleasing to meet you." the girl stated and finished her bow. Then she continued to stare at Chelsea, hoping for a reaction "I am sorry if I appear, as you may perceive, to be awkward. I am not well-versed in the ways of... socializing."
Relieved that Chelsea didn't do anything wrong she replied with words of encouragement "Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal. You may seem a little awkward, but I am sure you are a nice person. I can feel it. Now then Shirako, I'd say we go to the cafeteria, but this time for real!"
Chelsea felt like they are being watched but she couldn't make out from where. Maybe it's someone looking for the cafeteria as well?

"Yes I am hopelessly lost. I'm Mell." He smiled and gave a small bow at the waist as his mannerisms and his clothes began to mismatch. He waved to the girl who came out of the ballroom. Following the two as they made their way to the source of food. Mell noticed one was actually a faunus and immeadiately felt jealous. Faunus are so cool I'm just a human. Mell sighed at these thoughts. As they reached the cafeteria he grabbed whatever food he could and made his way not paying attention to where he was going as he decided on a chair that was empty and sat at a table that had a boy with grey hair and pink eyes which were kind of peculiar. And a very cute girl "Hello." Giving a small wave before tearing into his food like he hadn't eaten in days but remaining cautious not to get any on his dress.

Khalil stared at his brother for a few seconds before rolling his eyes. "I totally wanted to say mom too. I just thought since you are like very not careful and at times always get in danger. I mean to protect you because I am your adorable brother and the best one at that as-well." he nodded while hairflipping his hair in a sexy way before digging down on his food. Then suddenly, a girl sat on their table but at the end of the table. He wondered why she sat all the way over there but they should have tried to at-least invite her over to the conversation to make friends. Khalil turned his head over to his brother before giggling and giving him a wink. "Oooh,brother.~ Cute girl over there for you. Perhaps you should invite her over?" he'd say with a smile while turning his head slightly to a new-commer. Khalil didn't know who he was speaking to when he said 'hello' because there was a male look like a girl and an actual girl, but knowing Khalil it was awfully rude to ignore someone. [color=pink]"Hey hey!"[/color he smiled at the guy before continuing to eat his mashed-potatoe.

Seth took a tray and filled it with an assortment of food. Mostly meat and fruit. His diet at the village mostly consisted of meat the village hunters trapped while many of the other villagers grew their fruits and vegetables. During the winter months, the villagers travelled to the city to get their fruits and vegetables. Once Seth filled his tray he looked around for a table. He didn’t see Alice or Mell so he figured they had already found a table. Part of him thought about taking the food outside and eating out there.

“Best not chance anything,” Seth said as he took his tray and walked towards the doors. Besides; Eating outside is better than eating in a confined room Seth thought.

West helped himself to a variety of foods. His plate displayed a rather large, but balanced meal. He wanted to stay healthy, but he needed a lot of energy as well. A lot of interesting characters had made their way into the cafeteria. They all seemed quite chummy with each other and he wasn't sure where or how to jump into one of their conversations. For as big as the cafeteria was, it still had a stuffy feeling to him.

He decided eating outside seemed like a good idea. He took his tray and began for the door. He found that he ended up following another student. It was a Faunus and it looked like he had the same idea too. Maybe I'll strike up a conversation with this guy once we get outside.

Gri knew his brother had a point. As kids, he always got into an assortment of trouble even with the strict training program weighing on his back. He could always find a way to get out of the house and do something he shouldn't. Ah, he remembered those times where he left the house and headed towards the forest only to find a bunch of Grymm. Good times. "Then I leave it up to you to watch my back and I'll watch yours too." He said before continuing to eat, finishing in a matter of minutes. Normally, he would automatically stand up with the tray in hand before leaving it at wherever it needs to be left, however, his brother was here.

And not only that but two others as well. A green haired female and a blond haired male. He then leaned over to Khalil, "I'm not sure what got them here. You or me." He said before leaning back again and then waving at Alice. "Hey, come sit over here. We won't bite, I promise." He said with a smile. Now, there was no harm in making new friends now was there? He didn't actually care if she was cute or not. His attention was caught when the blond haired male said hello so he returned it with a wave.

Seth pushed the door with his back and walked outside. He looked around and found a spot under a tree. He took his tray of food and placed it on the ground before he sat down. He took an apple from his tray and bit into it. He instantly spat it out and gagged at the taste.

“Way too sour,” Seth said as he looked at the apple. He hadn’t noticed that the apple he had taken was a green apple. He didn’t like the taste of green apples. Even in the village he couldn’t stand the taste. He chucked the apple in hopes another anime would take it. He sighed and took out a burger wrapped in plastic and unwrapped it before he bit into it. the taste of the sour apple was washed away by the beef.

“Not too bad, but nothing to rave about. The village has a better way of making the beef much more juicer. Guess I can’t complain,” Seth sighed before he took another bite of the burger. I wonder how the teams are going to be determined. Seth thought.
