"Yes, we shall." Shirako states with a small nod as she follows Chelsea on their journey to the cafeteria. This time Shirako manages to walk alongside Chelsea, though what's odd is she almost perfectly mimics her pace and stance, with the two almost walking in synchronization. In order to pass the time, Shirako asks: "Are you looking forward to becoming a huntress?"

As she followed the girls through the hallway, Cyra bit her lip. The interior of Beacon was much like its exterior; lofty ceilings that all looked the same to her, and it was becoming increasingly apparent that the girls didn’t know where they were going either. Still, she was more afraid of getting lost herself, so she continued following them.

The girls themselves were a puzzle. The red-haired one seemed nice enough: her voice was pleasant to the ear and always seemed to have an upbeat, happy tone, and a smile didn’t seem to be far from her face. The blue-haired one, however, was… odd. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but there was a distinctly unnatural feel to her; a slight stiffness to the way that she moved, a flat invariance to her voice. Little things that might not have been noticed if one wasn’t paying close attention, but it was enough for Cyra being unwilling to approach the pair.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the world had other ideas. As she walked, her foot suddenly jerked to a stop, sending her toppling forward with a gasp and yelp. As if that wasn’t enough, her crash was followed by an even louder impact as her heavy case slammed to the ground beside her.

@Thundercrash @Delta44 (likewise lol, have been a bit busy lately)
Chelsea and Shirako were walking through the hallways as they were getting closer to the cafeteria, step by step. Chelsea wanted to say something to keep the conversation going, but Shirako was faster than her. "Are you looking forward to becoming a huntress?" the girl asked her. She wasn't surprised about the question, quite the opposite, it was obvious that someone might ask her this question. So she already thought about it before she got off the airship.

"Of course I do! I mean thats probably one of the main reasons we are here, though I believe some have other reasons which are more important to them than simply becoming a hunter or huntress. Some seek strength, some want to make friends, some want to go on an adventure and others want to become a hero like in the storys they were told when they were little. There are all kinds of different motivations to come to beacon-" before Chelsea could continue she heard Cyra fall over following with her heavy case.

Chelsea immediately ran over to Cyra. "Are you alright? Here let me help you up!" she said a little concerned, reaching out to her.

Shirako was about to respond when Chelsea went to help the poor girl Cyra, turning slowly and staring at the fallen figure without a word. Another new person... not exactly what Shirako was hoping for, but she could handle it. Her brain would be able to deal with this time a lot better over time, after all, and so she focuses her attention on the fallen girl.

Unfortunately, Shirako was a little bit stuck on what to do in this situation. Whilst she had seen this scene or at least similar instances of it unfold before her eyes a couple times on the way here, it was always only a single person reaching out their hand to help. However, simply standing back would be denying that courtesy and thus make her seem rude outright. It was a tough choice.

"Here."

Shirako also offers her hand, without another word. The shackles on her wrists would be in clear view, though the chains that once bound them were now her weapons that couldn't be removed. Hell, even if they could, Shirako didn't want them removed. They made her feel safe. She stares at Cyra with the same eyes she regarded Chelsea with upon their first meeting, very much like a sapphire blue wall.

Cyra gave a low groan as she pushed herself up, shaking her head. Of all the things to do on the first day, she had to trip over her own feet. Wonderful Cyra. Really making those good first impressions.

"Are you alright? Here, let me help you up!"

"Here."

The two voices made her look up, where she saw the two hands reaching towards her, and her eyes widened. Nonononononono! No touch! Instinct kicked in, and she immediately scrambled backwards, bumping into the crate beside her panic. "No! No no no! I-I-I'm okay! S-see!" After putting a couple feet of distance between them, she finally managed to stand up, hands held in front of her as if to ward the pair of girls off. "P-please don't!"

"..."

Shirako stares at the skittish girl. From her analysis, Cyra didn't appear to be harmed, however it did look to her like she was experiencing some kind of shock. Shirako, being the kind of person to take things literally and not have a general understanding of human nature, retracts her hand and stares at the girl quietly.

"You must remain calm." Shirako says, her expression unchanging and her voice unwavering. "Further erratic motions could lead to panic, which may in turn lead to hyperventilation and heart attack. I urge you to remain calm for your own health and safety." Suddenly, the dark-haired girl bows, and remains bowing until she receives a response from Cyra.

"I apologise for being so forward. I will go about more subtle methods when greeting in future so to not startle other students. Thank you for your input."

Chelsea was a bit surprised about Cyras sudden reaction. Did they scare her in some way? or was she just extremely shy? Probably the second one.
Trying to create some distance between Chelsea and Shirako, Cyra scrambled backwards. With her uncontrolled movement she inevitably hit her head on a crate. "Are you really sure that you are alright?" Chelsea asked again as Cyra managed to stand up.

The party went on a little after midnight before Ozpin told the students that tomorrow would start their training and told everyone to head to the ballroom for the night. As he said this, he seemed like he was thinking of other things. After this he was the first one to leave the cafeteria and head to his office leaving glynda to direct traffic and show the students the ballroom. Seth was still outside when he saw the students leaving the cafeteria. He didn’t like the idea of people all around him while he slept. So he curled up into the fetal position with his tail under his head. He felt much more comfortable outside in the open in the cool night air. Beside him was his tray of half eaten food and cores.

However, as the students headed towards the ballroom and awaited their next day at Beacon. Outside the walls of vale, in the deepest part of the forest. A sinister plot was unfolding, something that not even the most dark hearted villains would attempt to try, but yet one such group where not only willing to try. They were succeeding.

---

Outside of vale:

A woman walked across the metal bridge that over looked a cage filled with thick brush. The white fang member waiting for her looked visibly scared as she stopped in front of him and placed her hands in the pockets of her white lab coat. She blew a strand of her purple hair away from her face before she sighed.

“Mrs. Viper, what a wonder it Is to see you,” the White Fang member stuttered.

“Enough with the formalities just tell me how the project is going,” Viper said. She was visibly anger that she had to be out in the forest or for that matter be talking to someone like this white fang member.

“Yes, well, um,” the White Fang member stuttered before he gave his report, “We were successful in creating four Stackers. However, there were some complications.”

“What sort of complications?” Viper questioned as she narrowed her eyes at the White Fang member. The White Fang member chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. Viper took her hands from her pockets and folded them in front of her as she tapped her foot on the metal walkway.

“Well, we created three male Stackers and one female in hopes of them acting like normal if they weren’t inside the cage. However, it seemed the female,” the member explained before he added, “Ate them.”

“She ate them?” Viper questioned as her right eyebrow rose.

“It happened a few days ago: we usually send farm animals into the cage so they can learn how to hunt. The female caught on real quick on hunting tactics, but the males seemed to stumble along the way. One night she just snapped and killed the three males and ate them,” the White Fang member explained. As if on que, screeching came from the cage under the metal walk way they were standing on.

“Seems she’s hungry again,” another member said over the intercom. Viper looked intrigued as she looked to the white fang member in front of her for an explanation.

“After she ate the others, she’s screeches like this every five hours of each day. She doesn’t stop until we send in an animal for her to hunt and eat,” the White Fang member explained before he started towards the lever to let an animal into the cage.

Viper happened to look down into the thick brush in the cage and saw a pair of eyes staring back at her. However, the eyes moved from her to the White Fang member who was walking towards the lever. As the member rounded the corner. There was a screech and the creature in the cage lunged at the corner wall and slammed its body against it. The wall shook and as it did, the White Fang member lost his balance and fell into the cage. There was another screech followed by the sound of tearing flesh and broken bones. Clever girl Viper thought with a smile.

“Shoot her!” another Fang member shouted as three other fang members ran out with sniper rifles.

“Cancel that order!” Viper shouted.

“But Ma’am? One of the Fang members questioned.

“I will not lose precious data like this. Sedate her and take her DNA while she is asleep. Only make female Stackers,” Viper ordered before she continued, “That’s an order!” she then looked towards the cage and her eyes once again locked on the creatures eyes. You are perfection Viper thought as she smiled and her forked tongue flickered from her mouth.

---

Next day:

In the early morning around 8am. Humming noise went over the intercom of Beacon academy before Glynda’s voice echoed around the campus, “Attention all student. Your first test will begin at 10am sharp. Please meet at the cliffs overlooking the Emerald forest. I will not tolerate tardiness. You either are at the cliffs at 10 or you’re on the next air ship out of Beacon.”

Seth stretched as the announcement echoed through the air. He yawned as he sat up and looked around. A chipmunk scurried way from him as it carried an apple core in its mouth

“Well good morning to you too ma’am,” Seth said as he rubbed his eyes and yawned again before he stood up. His joint popped with each movement as he stretched to wake himself up. Guess I should head to the cliffs. Don’t want to get kicked out on the second day Seth thought.

Polaris North How I Socially Interact

Member Seen 25 days ago

@Princeofhearts

The party went by like it was nothing to Gri. He spent the whole time on one table drinking some punch. He didn't care much for social interactions. He just watched and observed all the hunters and huntresses that were admitted in the school. Surely, every single on of those students he saw had some sort of unique capabilities that got them inside. If not, well, he just hoped that they would train harder so they can become good workers.

He had fallen asleep all too quickly last night, only having time to change into a shirt and jogging pants before passing out. He wasn't sure if it was the trip here of if he just wanted a headstart tomorrow morning. He knew that there was some sort of early morning exercise or something like that, it was understandable considering they were an academy.

Unexpectedly, he woke up far too early and found himself to not fall asleep. He contemplated on waking his brother but decided against it, seeing that he was sleeping so comfortably on his bed. He stood up and then fixed his own futon before changing into his casual clothes, deciding against wearing his Atlas Uniform. He took his weapon and then strapped it to his back and then waited for an announcement or something. Should this be his routine everyday, he wouldn't mind. It was better to be an early bird than being late.

Then suddenly, Glynda's voice boomed through the speakers, announcing that they should get there by 10 or else they wouldn't even get admitted. Well, what a threat. Gri rose from his seat and then shook his brother. "Khalil, wake up. We need to get going. Seems Professor Goodwitch has something to do with us by the Emerald Forest. And considering the time, I think you should hurry up and get dressed before we get kicked out." He said.

Seth yawned as he headed towards the cliff’s overlooking the emerald forest. He saw a few other students heading there as well, but he didn’t recognize any of them. They all seem to emerge from the ball room to which Seth remembered they were instructed to sleep the night before. Seth didn’t like the thought of sleeping in a massive room with others. Especially with his semblance issues. Even being around everyone heightened his paranoia as he feared his semblance activating.

“Calm down, take deep breaths and calm yourself,” Seth said to himself as he took a few deep breaths. Just got to make it to the cliffs with no issues and we should be all good Seth thought as he continued on his way to the cliffs.

Upon arriving at the cliffs he saw Ozpin and Glynda standing in front of what looked like stone tablets in the ground. Ozpin ushered the students to the tables while saying, “Please pick a spot and stand there. The test will begin shortly.” Seth watched as everyone took a spot on a tablet. He walked over and stepped on to a tablet that had the carving of a sprouting tree on it, in the middle looked like a baby being cradled by the branches of the tree.
