Realized another problem with Tanto the Sleet. Assault Blackwings all have the effect of being treated as Tuners despite being non-Tuners if a condition is fulfilled. So I'm going to suggest this effect, which I think will keep with the spirit of the card and also the archetype as a whole.

Name: Assault Blackwing - Tanto the Sleet
Level/rank: 1
Attribute: DARK
Monster Type(s): Winged-Beast/Effect
Effect: If you control a "Blackwing" monster other than "Assault Blackwing - Tanto the Sleet", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If Summoned this way, this card is treated as a Tuner monster. You can banish this card and any number of "Blackwing" monsters from your Graveyard, including at least one Tuner monster; Special Summon one "Blackwing" Synchro monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Level of the banished monsters. (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.) The monster Summoned by this effect is returned to the Extra Deck during the End Phase of this turn. You can only activate the effect of "Assault Blackwing - Tanto the Sleet" once per turn.

Uh, what? Not sure how to feel about this card. I can't see anything wrong with it on the surface, but... Going to need second opinions.

Effect: Eclipse Wyvern + Twin-Headed Behemoth
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon using the listed fusion material monsters. When the effect of a Monster Card except this one card would be activated while this card is face-up on the field, reduce this card's ATK by 500 to negate the activation of that Monster Card and destroy it. During your End Phase, you can discard one Monster Card from your hand to change this card's ATK to it's original ATK.
ATK/DEF: 2600/2000


Yeah, yeah. Wording's not right. I'll fix it later, but for now it's accepted and not part of a booster until the fourth rolls around. EDIT: Also, Xei's card.

Fergot to address this. I'm going to reject this rehash of Tanto, honestly. At this point, whilst keeping with the spirit of the card, it isn't what the card was supposed to be. At this point, we're veering away from the 'Retrain of Vayu' territory and into the 'Creating a new card' one. Considering you're extremely bent on keeping the spirit of the Assault Blackwings intact, or something of the like, Tanto will now be called 'Blackwing - Tanto the Cold Gust'

Clarify its effect to me cause currently the way its effect is used makes no sense. ATTACKS gains DEF until the end of the damage step. Like what even. If its being the aggressor shouldn't it be gaining attack as well?

When Unrelenting attacks a monster, that attack target's ATK and DEF become Unrelenting's current DEF, but at the cost of not being able to destroy the attack target by battle.

Example, Unrelenting attacks a Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Blue-Eyes' ATK and DEF become 1600 for the duration of the battle, and the opponent would take 400 damage. However, Blue-Eyes is not destroyed.

Scar's card seems fair to me. Its kinda weak with only 2k attack and it doesn't really do that much unless you're using battle damage cards.

Your card goes through all defense and Inflicts piercing battle damage. If it got buffed how would that be fair in a 4000 LP environment?

I have yet to seen a card that both changes the DEF and inflicts Piercing. so both effects togather is kinda op.

Seems alright to me. It cannot kill monsters and, outside of ATK boosts, will always deal 400 damage per attack.

If anything, it seems pretty tame.
