Staring at the bar still, his expression changed to a frown. He stood up cooly, simply dropping it to the ground with a clank. The last seat still wasn't entirely taken apart yet but he wasn't in the mood to finish doing the rest. He stepped out of the bus and walked to the back, peeking over the corner to look at Jess, frown still evident. "I don't like monster...." momentarily distracted by the flame and sparks since he was a bit of a pyromaniac. He pulled his attention away from it and regained focus. "Where's the bottled water?"

"Sorry, i only carry Energy Drinks. I think that theres some still in the school cafeteria, but we still havent cleared it out properly. havent had the manpower or the need. we could make a deal of going if you want, but we have to be quiet and get in and out quick seen as its just the two of us" she said as she began to weld the first of the sheets over the first left window on the side.

He groaned and walked over to sit beside the zombie against the wall that he savagely beat the crap out. "I'm just going to take a break. I'm sure one of the others have water, if not I'm sure they'll get some." He wondered if he should take a short nap.

Nikki picked up her pace forcing the others to keep up. Her good mood had been replaced with one of worry. She didn't like the thought that any of them would take off alone but going to a place that was shut in like that and trying to attract more. The thought gave her the creeps and made her relive what she thought had happened to her Dad. In her mind she could see everything going well for a while but then it would change and he would be unable to get away from a hoard that would be inescapable. The picture in her mind kept flipping from her Dad to Nick. This group of kids was her dysfunctional family now and she wasn't willing to lose anyone else.

A little while later Nikki saw the first car up ahead and she stopped, looking at Moses and the others she pointed towards the first house on the right. "I started on the right side of the street at that house." She pulled the car keys out of her pocket and jingled them. "I left the boxes by the front doors in the houses I scavenged. All keys that I could find are on top. Finish up these and if you end up out overnight lock yourselves in and be safe guys. My car is already packed. I'm going to help Nick. If any of you want to go to the pen, grab a car after you fill it up. We really need the supplies and there is alot here."



Nikki ran for the car and hopped in. The car roared to life. It was a 1970 Dodge Charger and it had a mean sounding V8 engine. She smiled and waved as she passed them. "Be safe guys! I'll see you at the school." Nikki hit the gas and missed the days of blasting the radio with the windows down. She played the cd in the disc player and was happy to hear Metallica coming back at her. She chuckled happily, "Old school, alright!" She noticed that the car was drawing walkers out and she was being followed. "Okay Nick, I hope you are ready for this."

Truthfully? Alex did not know what was going on anymore. Now, he just cared about smashing zombies' heads like there's no tomorrow. When Hunter went the other way, Alex simply let Moses deal with it. His mind was only on getting to the pharmacy and it'll be kept that way. For all he knew, Hunter might be going where Nick was or maybe going back to the school. Either would be a great help really. He kicked down a zombie and then squashed its head under his boot. He sighed before looking at Nikki who talked.

She hopped on a car and then told them she was going to head for Nick's and then rest of the supplies were at the house. "Wait, Nikki, don't go there!" Yes, Alex knew that she wanted to help but she wasn't going to help Nick much now. He was sure that Nick had it all under control and technically, he would be better off by himself. But Nikki was already on her way and he just sighed and shrugged. Nick could probably handle the extra person.

He looked at Moses. "I'm heading for the pharmacy. Don't worry 'bout me, I'll be fine. I think you should get that back to homebase." He said before pointing at the rest of the supplies before he started going on by himself, towards the pharmacy where he was supposed to go. But then he moved into the alleyways. It was one of the things he had memorized because of the multitude of times that he used it back then. He knew how to get to the pharmacy faster and safer.

Was he serious? All Moses had done was explain the damn situation to him and still he walked off like an angry child. He had too many things and people to worry about to entertain this foolishness right now. "Fine Hunter, its your decision. I'm not going to force you to stay here." His tone still even and cool. The school needed these supplies and they needed to make sure they got them back there. He followed after Nikki has she picked up the pace.

They eventually reached the subdivision Nikki had been talking about. "Cool lets grab this stuff and hit that pharmacy and convenience stor_ Wait what?!" He was caught off guard by her sudden desire to go help out Nick. "Nikki he'll be fi- And she's already gone..." He muttered as she drove away in her admittedly kick ass Dodge Charger. He groaned audibly and sighed again before turning to Alex. "Just go. I'll figure the rest of this out."

Hunter shrugged his shoulders as he made it away from the others and from the school. It was time for him to be alone in his adventure just because he was tired of how Moses and the others treated him, as if they were better than him. Hunter sighed as he walked towards the nearby forest noticing a few zombies up ahead, though he decided to take the other route and away from them. He knew how to survive in the wild.

Nikki pulled the car up near to the prison and shut it down. The noise from the car's arrival had only attracted a few walkers. Since they straggled along it was no big deal taking them out. Nikki didn't strain herself with them she just did what she needed to do. Looking around she finished off the last one and headed for the prison.

As the car started up, a male was being chased by a walker. The male was around 17. He had a limp, trying to run without causing too much pain. Blood was on his shirt and pants, an obvious indicator something just happened. The male heard the car, moving towards the car. As he finally pinpointed the location of the car, he threw his hands in the air. He had one free hand and a baseball bat in the other. "Help!" He yelled, still limping towards the car.

Kyre's heart jumped when he heard a sound echoing from some where outside. He looked outside from where we sat at the back of the garage to the school perimeter fence in the distance, just beyond the open garage door. His eyebrows furrowed with uncertainty before he looked to Jess. "Did you hear that?..." he spoke quietly. "I don't think that was a zombie, it almost sounded like someone yelling for help." He quickly stood up, his heart still pounding. "Do you think it's one of the guys? Should we go check it out?" He was trying not to look so panicked since it could easily be mistaken for concern over the wellbeing of the others when the only thing he's really worried about was getting food and water. The bag of doritos he ate only held off the hunger, but he hadn't been able to get a real long drink of water for 2 days. He didn't have his own bag to carry anything in and he would usually eat or drink whatever he found while out helping the scavengers, but he hadn't gone out with them for a while and he didn't like relying on others so he never bothered to ask any of them for water. It didn't help that he often didn't go have lunch with them, he's usually outside teasing the zombies at the fence or taking a nap.

Nikki hid from a distance to assess the situation. She picked off walkers whenever she got or they got close enough. She didn't see Nick. She did see his stack of bodies and a note in the road entrance to the prison. She grinned, that meant so far all was good with Nick.

The male heard the car get more distant and he was running out of luck. He saw the school and limped there at a quick pace. There were three of the infected behind him. He looked back periodically, realizing they were getting closer and he was getting slower. He reached the fence, yelling and hollering in attempt to get inside.

"Somebody! Help! Please!"

The screaming was getting loud now, so loud it was coming over the sound of her welding torch. "Oh for gods sake. Someone better be dying or my foots going up there ass." she yelled as she put the welding torch down and grabbed her bag, sword and gun of the table side. "Come on Kyre, whoevers at the gate how got a lot of explaining to do."

As Jess ran out side, messily placing her pistol in its holster and slinging the swords sheath onto her back she saw the problem. Some guy was limping over to the school, yelling and screaming his head off. "For fucksake do people not know the first thing about zombies." she reached the fence. she put her bag on the ground and took out the NaK flare she had made earlier on. "Fuck sake, Look away from the flare." she lit the fuse and tossed it over the fence as far away from the guy as possible. "Right back up a little bit. theres little way in or out of this place unless you want to walk all the way around to the main gate. so you want in were gonna have to boost you over got that?"

The male looked away as the flare was tossed. He stood and listened to the orders given. He backed up, limping a bit still. He forced himself to run. An intense amount of pain shot through his ankle, shooting straight up his leg and ending at his lower back. He hopped up and grabbed the fence with one hand, throwing his body over it with a bit of trouble. After he cleared the fence, he landed on his back and knocked the wind out of himself. He lay there on the ground, tired and panting. He still didn't feel safe. Would these people rob him? Kill him? Worse? Thoughts flew around his mind.

After another minute of laying there, he sat up and eventually stood, putting little to no pressure on his hurt ankle. He was catching his breath then looked to the girl who threw the flare. He adjusted his utility belt, a few tools visible. "Th-thanks." He said, struggling to speak from fatigue combined with the impact of his back on the ground.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me," muttered Nic, slightly annoyed. The source of his annoyance came from a very familiar, very loud, and above all, very near roar of a V8 engine. There was only one person he knew that had a car to make a sound like that.

"I am going to have words with Nikki when I get back," he grumbled. Honestly, if she wanted to join in, then she should've said so first. Now he had to remake his plans on the fly to account for her sudden presence, which he didn't at all like doing.

"Let's deal with you guys first."

Currently Nicodemus was inside the penitentiary open yard. He was surrounded on all sides by zombies he had attracted via foghorn magic, however, they couldn't get close to him due to the thick wired fence that enclosed the yard. There was only one opening, a hole made from a broken spot in the fence, and behind it is where Nic stood.

It was the ideal choke point. With only one way in, he could kite all the zombies and force them to come in one-by-one, and with each zombie that stepped through, another one fell.

"Come on then, who's lucky number twenty-eight?" he yelled. Another zombie stepped through the fence, and he swung a crowbar to its face. Number twenty-nine came soon after.

Now, what to do about Nikki . . .

Nikki saw Nick through the fence from her hidey hole. She smirked and shook her head. "Only he would do that." She stayed alert and started hacking her way into the same area just in case something happened that they didn't expect. "Fourteen, fifteen, sixteen..." Nikki counted aloud and she lost count when she got closer to Nick. She was being careful not to lose track of all of the walkers.

"So why did you come out here alone?"

Nicodemus watched as the girl hacked her way towards him, and sighed. Well, she was here now. He spared a glance at Nikki as she took her place to his side, before returning to smashing heads.

"Easier that way," he grunted, another swing, another kill. "Hard to keep track of other people while running around for your life. Not that I don't mind the company-"

Swing. Crack. Thud.

"-but I'd appreciate being told before you join up. Kinda throws my original plan in the loop you know?"

The numbers were steadily dwindling, which meant that he could proceed with phase two. Most of the zombies were concentrated here, but there was still a fairly large number at the back.

"Come on, we're done here. We're going into the building next. Hope your ready," he said with a grin. The inside was crawling with zombies -- convicts that couldn't escape in time -- right now, they were all stuffed inside. What they had to do was shut the door on them, to make sure they couldn't get out into the streets.

Nikki nodded "Let's go Oh fierce and mighty leader'! She said sarcastically picking at him as she took another walker out. "Well I would have appreciated being told but no one told me you were even going. How many parts are there to your plan?" Nikki followed and made sure they had an escape route.

Nikki's heart beat faster as she followed him inside. It was darker the only light was from the skylights in the ceilings. "We need to hurry this part up. I don't like being in here with so many of them. If one thing goes wrong..." Nikki was always the brave one who hid behind wisecracks and sarcastic remarks but right now she was just determined to get them out alive. She would fall apart later in the privacy of her own room.
