@Zarkun"
God and Phoenix Slayer magic huh? I've read about them, but don't know much about it..." Cody mumbled thoughtfully in reply...wait so 'Slayer' was a simplifed term for any form of Slayer magic?
His mind immediately flashed back to the wizard he had met yesterday...Amaya Van Isis. The Ice Dragon Slayer. If they were after 'slayers' would that mean they were after her as well?
However despite this train of thought, he was still listening to James' attempts to put his mind at ease.
"
Shred of decency? With that guild? No...I wouldn't believe it at all." Cody mumbled angrily "
I don't remember a shred of decency when that guild tried to burn me alive." Cody added as he traced circles on the hilt of his sword. He forgot about Amaya at this stage now, more focusing on the images which still haunted him occasionally.
"
You guys took down the council? Huh, never noticed." Cody remarked thoughtfully now as he received his meal, giving a small thanks to the waiter before taking a spoonful.
"
And why would dark guilds target us just because Phoenix Wing took down the council?" He asked rather ignorant of the fact of how corrupt they were. He had pretty much secluded himself from people, only hearing the odd rumour or two. However he didn't remember hearing such a rumour.
@Natsume HonnajiJasmine smiled brightly in response to his answer before entering the store. On the outside it looked like an ordinary dress shop...however on the inside, there were dresses of all kinds.
There were
tight dresses,
strapless dresses,
wedding dresses,
ball gowns,
gothic dresses,
short dresses and various other dresses. Jasmine was rather taken aback by several, other...shocking dresses and quickly retreated behind Robin as a
woman(?) now approached them.
"Hello dearies, how may how I help such a cute couple such as yourselves?" The woman(?) asked with a wink at Robin and Jasmine, the wink making Jasmine's skin crawl and just shudder in disgust. And she hadn't even SEEN the wink, she was hiding behind Robin.
@ExpolarGeorgie pouted as he seemingly got straight down to business. What a boring man...however, there was a presence about him that certainly gained her attention. So she decided that listening to him might profit her in some way, however upon mentioning the book which she did certainly have she now giggled playfully.
"
Oh? Kleptotionap? That kinda rings a bell...However I own many a Grimoire, how would I possibly know which one that might be simply by name? I love to collect and play, however I don't like sharing." Georgie replied childishly as she was suddenly on a low hanging broken part of the ceiling, just swinging her legs back and forth as she looked down at him before giggling again.
"
Perhaps a description of said book might help? After all, that's such a long and complicated name how could you expect me to remember it?" Georgie asked with a small giggle. Manami could tell she was simply teasing the man, she knew EXACTLY which book he was talking about.
However Manami didn't, she knew most of the Grimoires in Georgie's possession however this one she wasn't familiar with. After all, Manami was the one who generally had to catalouge the books because Georgie was simply too...well childish to do so. But she also knew that Georgie carried her more powerful, rarer Grimoires on her person or in an unknown location which she could easily access using her teleport magic.
"
It's true Master, without his help I doubt we would've gotten far after Shiro's magic had been severely drained." Manami said as she placed an impatient hand on her hip, parting her lips slightly to show her displeasure with Georgie's actions.
The pose made Georgie straighten up slightly, raising an eyebrow curiously as she glanced down at Monsoon once more.
"
Oh? Really? Manami, I expect details later...however." Georgie replied seriously now, her childish facade now discarded as she suddenly reappeared in front of Monsoon.
"
You...No, I don't think I'll spoil the surprise. It's more fun the less people who know right?" Georgie said with a small chuckle rather than her usual giggle. He would know exactly what she was mentioning.
