So I'm sure I asked before but I want to clarify before I get some RP out, what exactly is the situation in Lost Haven right now? Is it just an extra chaotic night with all the Pax Metahumana stuff?

@MelonHead I was doing my thing with Nexus for a while before you joined. :P

@Fallenreaper I intend to become involved with Cowl in the near future so I wouldn't mind having some clue as to the events that are about to unfold with you and NN. White Witch likely wouldn't be a part of the current collab you're working on, but depending on how much farther she gets with Pax, she might slip in later on.

Well, in that case, we can do one of two things:

~Include you in the Group PM, which I'll admit will likely spoil everything about that current arc/chapter but will keep you updated for when you hop in.
~Exclude you and later on, when you're involved directly, create another PM between you, NN and me to feed you need to know info for that time.

One thing I don't want to do is take Players from Ded's arc. However, after seeing his comments with Sep about making any future players likely only playing a support role and seeing as he's getting a bit overwhelmed, I'm not going to actually get Rach deeply involved with the Pax arc so he's got one less player to have to keep track of and feel responsible in giving something to do. With any luck, maybe while you're not playing an active role in saving the world, White Witch can play on the street level during her lulls.

Pretty decent group and not too big or small either. The bad part, there's like 8 people and I think the pms allow us to only send to about 5 max so I might have to think of something else rather than a PM. I'll have to think about, namely as I don't want to make a bunch of individual pms unless I have a content table to refer to and that's piling another PM on it all. I don't think dividing the group up will work as I think the Heroes outnumber the villains. Unless someone else has another idea? I could ask Tear to make a IRC but it would be hard to have everyone online at the same time and even a bit chaotic since we couldn't save the data unless people had Hexchat which logs conversations. And OoC, with the amount we goof off, risks it getting lost in the fun. XD

Also... @Eddie Brock: I can also get you involved as well since we have a plotline connected with Jacqueline, but the choice is up to you as you haven't spoken up about it since I made the offer OoC and I don't know what your plans are for Mantis. I much rather not drag you in kick and screaming if you have other desires...unless you want me to. :P

Right now, I'm still behind on several posts and not fully caught up with the Ic, but from what I do know is this: Several bombs have created domes all over major cities like Los Angeles, Philly, New York, etc. causing panic and mass exodus of the cities including Lost Haven. This part of the reason the CDC is evacing Rach. The heroes that have joined Ded's arc are currently trying to get the event under control and collected at Sherman Square within a owned building by Iron Knight. Other than the riots, which have left most the Square area in ruins, and likely other parts of the city, there's nothing massive I think has happened that your PC might note. I think White Witch and Icon might've dealt with the Dome Device in Lost Haven, I could be wrong as I'm not caught up with that current arc.

@Fallenreaper I'm fine with being excluded until later on. Also, you could use a google doc for planning and collabs if that's not what you're doing already.

It was White Witch, Polemos, Thunder and Boom, and Vigilante who dealt with the Lost Haven bomb.

Thank you for the correction. As I said, I'm still slow on catching up on the IC and likely this planning the chapter/arc won't help me get caught up any faster. :P Is it bad I actually enjoy the energy and stress though?

Pretty much, besides what fdeviant corrected (I also corrected it in the above quote). Although, the max exodus in Lost Haven is probably slowing down because people are probably realizing that Lost Haven was not screwed over by this event.

Depends on the stress type really and the outcome. Anything, if you really think about it, has some sort of stress tied to it else the effort isn't really worth it. At least that's how I've usually felt when I see the end result of something that has used a lot of my focus, time and energy actually come to fruition with a result rather amazing compared to my original expectations.

I also was just thinking about how we were joking about the "War of the GM's" and I thought it would be funny if we (the GM's) did a draft to pick teams. While it would be obvious that we would not do that in game, I just thought it was a funny idea (especially since the NFL draft is just around the corner).

I vote Villain as they are a bit outnumbered by the Heroes and you can always have him or her flip it later on depending on what happens. :p

If there was a "Civil War" story arc in this game (although I personally think that it is way too early to do that. It would probably devolve into an emotionless hero vs. hero war instead of friends vs. friends), the most likely story line would probably involve STRIKE trying to get a handle on the metahuman community. Sides probably would be Strike plus blackmailed heroes vs. heroes who were not blackmailed. One problem is that I don't know how much dirt STRIKE has on all the heroes.

Ummm. I would suggest asking the Players actually and see who STRIKE is allowed to dig up dirt on and how much? All the players, as far as I know, are more story based and would likely love to pit Heroes against Heroes. In addition, don't forget the other organisations as well that STRIKE could have connects with if the Players owning them give permission. Not to mention, you might be able to get some of the Villains and Heroes to work together as well which would be fun to see their reactions/distaste at this while seeing if they will mess with each other. Nothing like temptation for a hero being so close yet so far to their most hated enemy.

Also keep in mind the Lost Haven Police Department has been mentioned to have some tactics toward dealing with Meta humans and so does Gene Co, though neither are global. This might even start a meta human registration act in order to maintain order and control? That might be an interesting global event.
