Lux Harken

The look of embarrassment changed to one of relief. He held out one hand to the bathrobed knight and spoke. The relief on his face working its way into his voice.

"Thank you. I was starting to worry that we would have to tighten our belts on the way out of here."

Jason just might actually fade away if that happened.

"By the way, my name is Lux Harken. Do you mind if I ask yours?"

Penny knew she had the guild's support, but how could she explain she was going to kill someone, at their request, because she was the only one that could? It wasn't something she relised, nor was it something she wanted the whole guild to know. As Ariel's personality changed, Penny blinked at the touchiness she was displaying. "Have you ever killed someone, Ariel?" Penny said after a few moments, looking to Ariel, "Because I have, and I don't want to do so again"

"Well, you know that Sheldon has his own ways of knowing things. Well, it was an interesting match, that's for sure" Jessie said happily, munching enthusastically. "Certainly we have seen some...fabolous skill the last few days! certainly wouldn't want too be on the wrong side of these guilds!"



The first battle of the day was inspiring, and the crowd was eager for another battle, as Games master sheldon played them up, the names flickered across the board. Finally, Sheldon called out Its going to be HUnter and Ammy of Dragon Fang vs Sigurd and Delsin of Riders Blade! Step right up, and get ready to RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Hunter and Ammy stepped onto the field and moved towards the center, Ammy's twin scythes folded shut and hanging from her hips while Hunter had a small storm of jade around him, purely for the entertainment of the crowd however. Ammy was impassive as usually, her face blank except for a semi-bored expression. Hunter, on the other hand, was excited by the prospect of a good fight, especially after doing nothing but watching for most of the time. When the reached it, they waited for the other team to arrive.

"Alright you two, be careful. And don't take your anger out on them for what happened to Jackie, that's Phoenix Wing's fault." Fraquar said to his two guild members before they silently nodded and took off. Though neither Delsin or Siegard personally knew Jackie, they knew she was considered a friend by their Master, Lucus, and Pyrrha. That was enough for them.

They entered the field and stood opposite of their opponents, Delsin calm and relaxed with a smile on his face while Siegard was serious, studying the two mages in front of him. He had a very bad feeling about this.

Ammy and Hunter regarded their opponents they were regarded in turn. Without a word, it began, Hunter rushing forward as a this sheet of jade encasing his body. "Jade Dragon's Steel Fist!" His right fist became encased in even more jade as he brought it down towards Delsin, though Ammy was close behind, choosing to move on Siegard as her twin scythes flipped open.

"Death's Twin Coils." However, instead of an attack being launched, something about Ammy's charge changed and rather than go for a straight on slash, she slid between Siegard's legs and hooked his ankles, letting her momentum do the job for her. As he went down, she rose up and descended, her aim putting the Death Magic user's landing square in his back if he didn't move. Regardless of if the move landed, she followed it up with a spinning slash and the back-flipped away, slashing with bot scythes and sending a wave of black energy towards Siegard. If he didn't move, it would impact and leave him extremely tired.

Meanwhile, Hunter would follow up his Steel Fist with a Tail Swipe, the sweep aiming to trip the bounty hunter and the kick aimed to knock him either up into the air or towards the wall. Even if it missed, he followed it up with a roar, the particle sized jade soaring towards Delsin.

As for Delsin, he's gonna had to channel his inner Train.))

Ammy successfully tripped Siegard, however, he quickly rolled out of the way and kept rolling until he was out of reach of her weapons. He then quickly got to his feet and drew his sword.
"Slippery little girl aren't you." He said, drawing his sword but making no move to attack Ammy. He had a feeling that studying this one would be a good idea before striking.

"No... no... Oh hell no!" Delsin said as he dodged each of Hunter's attacks, just barely getting out of the way of the Jade Dragon's breathe attack. Drawing his gun, he quickly loaded several bullets into it and waited. It seemed his opponent had a brute force, straightforward style of battling. He could deal with that. The Jade scales and dragon abilities. Not so much.

Hunter grinned and held an arm out straight. "Jade Dragon's Blade." The arm turned into a green stone sword blade that extends at high speeds towards Delsin. Even if he dodged, Hunter would swing the blade to follow his opponent, though eventually he retracts the blade and rushes forwards again. However, halfway across the distance, he launches himself forwards and starts spinning. "Jade Dragon's Drill Horn!" The attack would impact Delsin's chest if he didn't move.

Ammy remained focused on her own opponent, circling him before spinning the pair before combining them at the base of their hilts. "Mists of Styx." After she spoke, the arena becomes enshrouded in a thick mist, obscuring the sight of both Delsin and Siegard, although an area quickly clears around Hunter and Delsin to allow the pair to continue their fight. With the mists now up, Ammy began a flurry of guerilla attacks, testing her opponents guard and reflexs. However, the longer Siegard stood in the mist, the less he felt like fighting. This presisted for roughly thirty seconds before the mists cleared and the swordsman found himself facing a dual bladed scythe glowing purple from both sides. "Reaping Whirlwind." The blades briefly created a purple tornado around Ammy before launching it towards the swordsman, who would still be feeling semi-lethargic.

Delsin's reflexes were impressive, dodging the blade at the last second as it extended towards him and ducking under it again as his opponent swung it towards him. He glanced over at his teammate and saw Siegard was moving slower then usual after being surrounded by that odd black mist. Without a second thought, he fired his gun, the bullet going around Hunter and hitting Siegard, switching Delsin with the swordsman and giving the bounty hunter just enough time to avoid the purple tornado.

Once he was safe from that attack, Delsin unloaded and loaded his gun again before firing at the girl's feet, the bullet releasing a blinding flash of light. Delsin closed his eyes before the flash, sparing him before he fired another bullet that, should it hit Ammy, would wrap her in chains, binding her arms to her side. He was hoping he could avoid hurting the girl, as hurting women was something he tried to avoid.

Siegard slowly got to his feet and faced Hunter, raising his sword in time to block the drill, though the attack still sent him flying into the wall. He slowly got up and dusted himself off before looking at his new opponent.
"You two have impressive magic. A dragon of a semi-precious stone and a girl who uses dark energy to sap her opponent's energy to slow them down and make finishing them off easier. Still, I think things will be more interesting now." He said

Hunter grunted in annoyance. "Damn it, now I owe Ammy half the pay of my next job." Still, despite the change, Hunter closed the distance once more, launching a flurry of Steel Fists to test his opponent's reaction speed. Following that, he pulled his arm back with his fingers straight, forming a spear arm. "Jade Dragon's Spear Strike!" He slammed his arm forward towards Siegard's chest and backflipped away from the resulting impact and slammed his palms palms to the ground. "Jade Dragon's Rising Spikes!" Several long and sharp tipped spikes rose around and under Sieghard that would hurt him if he didn't move.

Meanwhile, Ammy moved with the flow of everything, already moving back and away from the gunslinging Delsin as he fired the flash bang shot. Fortunately, she didn't need her eyes to hear the next shot and she rolled to the left, the chains flying through the space she'd previously occupied. "Reach of the Reaper." Vanishing in a puff of purple smoke, she reappears behind Delsin. "Form of the Reaper." The scythe wielding mage was enveloped purple energy, reappearing in the visage of the Reaper himself. Spinning her scythe again, she swings down towards Delsin. Even if she missed, a purple wave of energy went out a short distance and she stayed on top of the bounty hunter.

"You're fault for making the bet to begin with, whatever it was." Siegard said before he proceeded to block Hunter's blows, his blocks becoming faster as the effects of Ammy's mist wore off. When Hunter went to stab him, Siegard's blade glowed and Hunter would find his arm-blade stopped and himself unable to move as he originally planned as Siegard caught the attack with his now gauntleted fists. "Seems I've caught a dragon by it's claws."

Lux Harken

"Cyare Staunton." The tall woman shifted her sheathed sword (not like she could buckle it around a robe) to her left hand, shaking Lux's hand firmly with her right. Cyare frowned internally, just a little, at the mention of tightening belts but she didn't let it show. She withdrew her hand a moment later and returned her sword to it, adding, after a thought, to her introduction. Added with reluctance and in a much softer tone, however. "The Pawn."

"This is Angel and Kaia."

Trinity had retreated to her room with Karn, petting him and studying him as she pondered a solution. She set the orange tabby on the bed and pet him sweetly before she drew the blinds and took a breath. She set a small pile of fire arrows on the bed for him to chew on before she sat next to him, rubbing her chin as she pondered to herself. "To capture sound..." She lay back on the bed with her arms behind her head, thinking. "Hmmm."

It had been a relief that her name hadn't been called for the fights yet. Meant she had a bit of time to think of something.

Robin was sitting for a while waiting for the two of them to return from the back room they went in to try on dresses. When they had returned Jasmine was wearing quite a lovely dress and Robin stood clapping softly. "Hmm yes it is quite a wonderful dress indeed. I like it a lot, thank you so much for your help." He then let his gaze trail down in a saddened motion. "However as I said earlier I'm a bit tight on money...so to get to the bottom line, how much is this gonna cost us?" Robin then let his gaze trail back up to meet the owners eyes.

Angel Ferrara - ROILING EMPATHY NOISES

"Angel Ferrara," the pretty boy extrapolated, holding out a hand to shake with a wide, polite smile. Now that there was no enmity between them regarding the job, thanks to Cyare, there shouldn't be any problems between them! "Kaia Iona's my teammate. It'll be good to work with all of you guys."

After he had shaken with Lux, and then with his teammate - is he okay? He looks frumpy - Angel stood back and shoved his hands in his pockets. His attention was back on Staunton. She had clearly forced out the last two words of her own introduction, and grown visibly sadder as she did so. Any idiot could see it, but especially an idiot like Angel - who had spent eighteen years perceiving the slightest changes in a creature in order to survive, and four more observing them on behalf of a blind girl.

He knew sadness. And, as Kaia could tell you, was possessed with the insatiable, earnest urge to smother it where he saw it. But that was Kaia. Cyare was a way more unknown variable. What did unknown variables like...hot tubs, magic...

"Why don't I make everyone breakfast before we head out?"

Damian finished his latest set of forms with a series of quick thrusts that ended in a powerful overhead slash and sighed. It was nice, being out here to just train and review. Even if there was some big danger, war as he'd told Samir, around the corner, he enjoyed himself. Besides, it never hurt to train, as it kept your skills sharp. Sheathing the two cutlasses, Damian goes to reviewing the maps once more, pulling out an old code book so he could see if any would fit for the guild. As he studied, the purple window erupted opened in the sky, next to Damian, and out flew through two unknown figures. They landed with a big thud, a dust cloud covered the two assailants with mystery. Through the dust was tiny arcs of electricity. "Charlie, it seems like you got us to the exact location." Came a voice of slight surprise.

"Careful Zayn, you almost sounded surprised." The cloud had faded into nothing, Zayn and Charlie both stood side by side, staring at Damian with ill intent.

"So this is the one with the key?" Zayn asked, with a simple nod from Charlie. Damian sighed, setting both the maps and the code books out of the way and standing up.

"Guess I shouldn't be surprised someone showed up looking for it, though I am surprised it's outside help. Ah well, suppose I should do what I promised to do." He turned to the pair, his Ares Blades forming in his hands. "You two want the first move or shall I?" He stepped away from the table and the lacrima he'd turned on when he went to lunch with Samir activated, keeping the pair away from the camp and a second set shielded it from hostile magic. He then slid into a ready stance, waiting for an answer.

Zayn's face turned into a massive smile. "Damian. I've been hired to do this, but with all due respect, i would fight you for free." He said, finally confronting a powerful wizard. Zayn dashed forward, both hands covered in lightning blades while Charlie threw a portal in front of her, coming out above Damian, sword at the ready and pointed right for his shoulder. The power in the area was intense and Zayn was getting chills from the thought of this fight. Damian reacted accordingly, side stepping Charlie's attempt at his shoulder and kicking her away while spinning around Zayn's attack and unleashing a Blade Rain on the pair, around twenty blades falling towards them. Following that up, he closed with the lightning mage and unleashed a flurry of slashes, thrusts and straight up punches and kicks on him before dropping into a crouch.

"Radial Blade, Burst!" A circle of decently large sword blades surrounding him before exploding away from him, the tips facing outwards. Charlie kicked herself up right while Zayn jumped high in the air. This wasn't going to be easy and they both knew this. The two stood side by side once more, Charlie, observing the area and watching Damian with every muscle move. Charlie nodded to Zayn and it seemed like they both knew what to do. Zayn started to rush towards Damian, his lightning hand blades at the ready, he was close to Damian, arms length when a purple portal came in between them. Zayn was gone before coming out of nowhere behind Damian. Charlie dashed fast towards the two men, sword at her side.

The Ares blade in Damian's left hand intercepted Zayn's pair, which he quickly knocked up before slashing with the right in a spin towards his gut, forcing him to either dance back or take the blow. As Charlie closes in, Damian uses a Triple Strike, three ethereal blades flying out from him and heading straight for her in a triangle form, giving her up and down as her only escape. When there was another lull in the fighting, Damian shook his head. "You know, anything that is being hidden is being hidden for good reason. But then again, bad guys and mercs never think that far ahead."

This time, he took the initiative, rushing towards the pair in a zig-zag pattern before reaching Zayn and slamming a knee into his gut and doubling him over. He took this opportunity to use a sweep on Charlie and then use a Twin Piercing blade, a pair of large sword blades flying straight on at the pair. Zayn was shocked when the knee connected with him, he was equally surprised when he was flipped over, looking up towards the sky before shooting up onto his feet. The blades were coming in fast and Zayn had no choice, Charlie wasn't going to be quick with her portal. He spun in front of his partner, both blades piercing his back, blood slowly dripping from the entry wound. He looked down quick, no exit wound, perfect. He put his foot on CHarlie's knee and kicked of, backflipping in the air and throwing the blades back at Damian, easily dodgable but a distraction for Charlie to get herself together. Zayn had landed behind Damian, he was in between the pair. Both Zayn and Charlie didn't move, only settling into a stance.

Damian didn't move right away, opting to swap up blades to his Hermes Blades. Looking between the two, Damian went over what he knew for sure. Alright, so there's our friend behind me who likes lightning and it's easy to see he's holding back right now. Who knows what else to expect from him. On the flipside, the girl uses portal magic and is likely decent with that blade of hers. Let's keep them on their toes. Spinning both blades in his hands he turns and slams them both into the ground, one towards Zayn, the other towards Charlie. "Blade Geyser!"

A field of large spear and sword blades sprouted up towards both dark mages and as they went do dodge, Damian closed with the lightning mage again, his Hermes Blades boosting his speed. As he struck with his swords and body parts, smaller blades strike from random directions, showing Damian's proficiency with his magic as well as his martial skill. Charlie quickly dodge the incoming attack and watched as Zayn locked blades with the monster. Zayn held his hand against the sword, the lightning cloak making the sword play manageable. It was an intense moment and Charlie almst forgot to attack. Zayn moved into Damian, faces only mere inches apart. Eyes locked and Zayn's mouth opened, ready to say something but he was cutoff when a blade struck his face. An attack shot past the side of his right cheek, cutting deep and sharp and forcing to take a couple steps. Then Zayn got serious, he was holding back as to not damage the key but he didn't care anymore. If he was playing this serious then so was he. Zayn shot forward, his speed almost double and lightning striking around around him, he kick was heading towards Damian's face.

Damian ducked down, the kick passing through the space previously occupied by his head. "Left yourself wide open." His fist shot straight up, catching Zayn in the chin and lifting him up. While they're still in the air, Damian uses Zayn to give himself some momentum and deliver a round house to Zayn's side, sending him flying off to one side. As he lands, he turns to Charlie and unleashes a barrage of piercing blades on her, using the resulting distraction to close the distance and connect a solid punch to her. "Give it up, you aren't getting this key."

Charlie smiled after taking the hit, she smiled, "You're too close!" She dropped her sword from her hand and punched Damian in the gut, her foot flicking the sword back into her other hand. She took a swing at Damian but it was easily dodged but a duck. Zayn was still in the air, before turning and shooting down with great force at both Charlie and Damian.

Damian caught the girl's sword arm with his left arm and pivoted on his left leg, slamming his elbow into her gut to knock the wind out of her gut and flipping her onto her back before backflipping away from the lightning mage's super charged charge and slides a couple feet after the last flip. Sighing, he focuses for a moment, closing his eyes. "Release Skill Lock Alpha. Confirmation Beta-Delta-Epsilon-Ceta." A magic circle appeared under the Blades Magic wielder, the green it was changed to black before vanishing. "Last chance to just walk away."

When it became apparent that the pair wouldn't quit, Damian summoned a Striker blade, getting into the air. From there he just hovered a moment before zipping in and riding low along the ground, attacking with a series of high speed back and forth slashes and thrusts before flipping over the pair and using an Alpha Piercing Blade, which exploded into several smaller ones upon reaching where the pair was when he launched it.

The rapid flurry of attacks was amazing and the two only just managed to avoid the onslaught.. Well, Charlie gripped her right arm, a big cut and blood ran down. She turned to Zayn and Zayn knew what she was implying. He simply nodded back and turned to Damian. He rushed fast and got in close, throwing a right left, the two locked in a fist fight. While the two fought, a small portal appeared between the two, a small hand reaching through and got hold of the key around Damian. Damian saw the hand and slammed his head into Zayn's nose, knocking him back before grabbing the offending hand and pulling, flinging Charlie through the air. However, when he reached down to check for the pouch holding the key, it was gone, Charlie holding it triumphantly. Shit. Damian didn't hesitate, swapping to his Hermes Blades and closing with Charlie, slicing open the pouch and catching the piece before slamming his foot into her side. "Sorry sister, but letting you get that to your bosses is bad." Placing it in another pouch, he makes sure this one can't be pulled off again before sliding into a ready stance.

Charlie fell the ground, angered with her actions. How could she let this happen!. She got back up, she had done it once before, she could do it again. Zayn slowly strolled over to Charlie's side. Both of their looks changing to the look of battle. Their stance too was different, almost complimenting each other. Damian kept focused between the two, measuring them up. The change in attitude and stance was obvious, the realization that two on one wasn't as much of an advantage as they'd thought it would be. Damian, in response, changed stances as well, the twin blades coming up a little higher and the one in his left hand pointing at them. "Let's go." Dashing forward, his right blade crosses with Charlie's as his left one caught Zayn. After a moment of blade lock, Damian pushes the pair off and kicks Zayn away and uses a flurry of slashes, thrusts, and kicks to try and push her back.

Charlie spun quickly her hand flicking out towards Damian, a quick portal opened in blink of an eye, grabbing the bag and Charlie's hand was filled with success. Charlie came to a stop and looked at Zayn, before opening a portal to who knows where. But Zayn didn't care for such thing. Zayn went head first towards Damian, his lightning hand gunning for Damian's chest. "Son of a-" Damian reacted, the Hermes Blade in his left hand disappearing as he used a hand-to-hand technique to deflect the hand away from him and the blade in his right arcing up and slashing across the lightning mage's face, leaving a gash that crossed over the guy's left eye, and kicking him back as he made another grab for the key, but she was already gone. "No!" He turned to try and catch the lightning mage, but he was gone as well, likely portaled to safety while Damian was going for the portal mage. He growled, throwing the blade in his hand point first into the ground and squatting. "So much for a good day..."

Charlie's portal was hazy and they only just entered the tree line before the two mages came tumbling out into a roll. Charlie layed defeated until she heard Zayn growl with anger. Her body still slowly coming to life arose like Frankenstein. She saw the cut across is left eye, she could tell right away it was serious. Zayn was almost biting his tongue, his breathing was heavy and his eye was shut closed. He raised his right hand to the eye, and then his hand glew a bright blue as the sound of skin sizzling danced through the trees. His hand lowered and the cut remained a scar, one that Zayn promised to give back.




Damian stayed like he was for several minutes, thinking of a dozen different ways that he could have kept them from getting the key. But, in the end, he knew agonizing over it was pointless, so he opted to, instead, make something of the day. Standing and dismissing the Hermes Blade, he makes sure that the camp was locked down before heading towards the stadium, stopping to get a kabob along the way to replenish his strength some after that fight. The skill lock was still released, but he wouldn't need to close it back up for several hours yet, and he wasn't entirely unsure that he wouldn't get attacked again anyways.

Arriving at it, he took a moment to figure out which way he needed to go before going into the tunnels and up the stairs. The Frenzy Plant stands weren't hard to find, though he noticed that Hyun wasn't there. Ah well, suppose checking up on her can wait. Approaching them, he makes sure to make himself known, ignoring any attempts at intimidation. "I'd like to speak with your guild master, if he has a minute."




James held up a hand, stopping the defensive mage. "Slow down, it wasn't the guild those two women were a part of, it was one called Promised Butchers. They're now, as of yesterday, shut down. As for your lesson, we're going to cover some more advanced blocking manuevers, since I get the sense that it would fit your style better."




Jack chuckled at Jackie's question. "No, it just helps to teach them what the proper behavior is. It'll be less necessary as they get older, but for now, food is a powerful motivator to behave." Turning back to Jamie, he sighed. "Perhaps I'll talk to Sanders after we've had a chance to relax. For now, let's agree to enjoy why we're here."

Indigo shrugged. The girl would evidently place her ego over reality, so she wouldn't bother to tell her that rocks didn't burn. Every little detail did not to be prodded to make an effective argument. Her second response, however, elicited clarification. [color=007FFF]”You would if your general told you to.” The librarian watched as Ash took a deep breath, considering the path that lay before her. When she felt ready, she replied, and Indigo listened with her fist placed pensively against her chin.

As expected, she found herself confronted by tangible reluctance from Ash on the subject of submission. Fire blazed in the other woman's eyes, sparks of defiance, but she fell short of the sort of domineering presence maintained by Indigo in that moment. Her prideful statement received swift rebuke. ”We have a saying in this guild: talk is cheap. Sputter about invincibility if it pleases you, but you will be defeated. One does not grow stronger by beating weaker opponents. If you already think you're at the top, you're in for a rude awakening.” Indigo crossed her arms, and her eyes like a bottomless sea gleamed darkly. ”And you will care about what we tell you to care about. This guild isn't a tool. It's a job. With all that in mind, follow me. We will initiate you forthwith.”

Pausing only to watch the splendid end of the match between Phoenix Wing and Frenzy Plant, and to be filled with pride for her comrades, Indigo led Ash toward the warrior guild's seating area. Once there, she singled out a C-rank sorceress with dyed hair that shone a shocking orange in the day's sunlight. ”Private Riona!” she called, waving. ”Come over here, please!”

She waited for the pyromancer to comply before explaining. ”You've been with us only about a day, but I think you're the perfect candidate to provide a test for Miss Ash here to enter our guild. I trust you will pit your full power against her, and push both of yourselves to your limits.” A subtle smirk crossed Indigo's features. While she did not show it overtly, Ash's pride had annoyed her, and picking Riona to test her seemed appropriate payback. Though only a C-rank wizard, she obviously possessed power worthy of a high B-rank if not A-rank, and would hopefully challenge the willful girl. If she passed, Indigo already planned to put her against Enma, the brutal Oni, second. ”It would be my pleasure to escort you both outside the arena, where an impromptu duel can begin.”



When Damian arrived at the Frenzy Plant seating area, he found a languid southerner on call to receive him. The sight of the Blade of Phoenix Wing made Owen's brow furrow and brown eyes darken. Seeing that Damian had practically blinded himself in an attempt to ignore any well-warranted unhappiness, Owen thought it fitting to ignore him, too. After all, Frenzy Plant's representatives had just defeated two Phoenix Wing swordsmen. No doubt Damian wished to upbraid Sanders like his master had about taking the conflict personally, or perhaps in vengeance he wanted to pick a fight of his own. Better to not embroil himself in what could erupt into a violent confrontation, given the individual involved. While Damian absorbed a couple more sideways glances and glares, the various soldiers around him quickly returned to concentrating on the new match now underway in the arena. Riders Blade and Dragon Fang, it seemed, would be working to make good accounts of themselves. Already they displayed impressive magic power.

With the collective focus elsewhere, Damian received no reply. Sanders did, however, sit fairly close by and perfectly visibly to boot. Frenzy Plant's general had not yet noticed the newcomer.

Penny's words took a pretty dramatic turn and Ariel removed her hand and took a step back. She spoke under her breath for a second. "Wow, ruin the mood."[/size] Kill someone? That definitely wasn't something that Ariel has done. Pondering how to respond for a second she shook her head. "I have not. I would rather not either." Somehow Ariel felt that she should feel differently right now, but the new magic had a hold of her.

Shifting from one foot to the other Ariel managed to pull something together. "If you have to do this then you shouldn't go alone." Sighing she looked around. She already had an obligation to stick around with Karn. Not that she had a problem with that, it just meant she wasn't free to help Penny. "I need to stay here for Karn. I made a promise and intend to keep it. But if you need anything else just ask."

Riona Ynnir

Sitting with the others she couldn't help but be entertained watching the double battle between the Wingers and Frenzy Plant. The wingers were impressive but god damn Frenzy Plant showed they were powerful for a reason. When it looked like they might get knocked down a peg, they turned the situation around in their favor. It truly was just an impressive fight and either way it went might have been received greatly. Granted some discomfort was around with the Wingers being a aggressive bunch as of late. This fight no less a showing of that, but the sheer battle of it was still very incredible from start to finish. Those two showed why they were one of the best Frenzy Plant had to offer, and why they could easily be one of the most feared in the guild.

So when they won she cheered with the rest of the guild and on looked the start of the next fight, until she was called upon by Indigo. Looking over at her she jumped out of her seat and walked over giving a bright smile and salute. "Whatca need from little ol me?" She asked before being given the details on what was going down. She was to be this Ash's chicks test? She might have frowned considering she was told no property damage before, yet when stated that she could use her full power, her smile certainly lit up in happiness at the word of it. Being able to use everything she could was music to her ears, as such she nodded at Indigo. "Of course! Being told I can go full force is better for me anyway. Lead away!" Riona stated to her superior.

Riona would then hold her hand out towards Ash and would grin at the woman. "Hey, I'm Riona Ynnir. I look forward to our duel." Riona politely stated although her smile was one of confidence, she didn't like to brag until it looked like the foe had no shot against her. After all she had the power to be confident but one shouldn't say they were going to mop the floor with their enemy until it deemed like a possibility.

Cody was about to respond that he knew that already but decided it was rather pointless to do so anyway. It didn't change anything after all.
Upon hearing about some blocking however he perked up a little. Blocking? He could do that....
"Did you want me to use my Absolute Shield spell or just the sword?" Cody asked thoughtfully. He was more used to blocking with his shield after all, and a shield was made for blocking while he mainly viewed a sword as a offensive weapon.

The owner chuckled to herself(?) at Robins question.
"Oh deary I was looking to get rid of it so 1000 jewels shouldn't be too much should it?" The owner asked with a wink before turning back to the fidgeting Jasmine and chuckling once more.
"Here deary, I'll throw this in for free if you feel a little self-conscious about the dress." The owner said as she threw the shoulder cape around Jasmine. The young girl felt a little better to have her shoulders covered now, mainly cause she was cold than anything else.

Ash narrowed her eyes slightly. Invincible? She wasn't invincible...Maybe this woman misunderstood her?
"No-one is invincible, I just stated I couldn't overcome my own weakness is all." Ash replied with a simple shrug of her shoulders "And like I said I might struggle with that in the begining, however I look forward to working with you." Ash said as a smile lit her face for a brief moment before following the older woman. She totally agreed with this woman, no-one grew stronger by beating weaker opponents.
One could only grow stronger by beating the best and proving themselves.

She stopped just behind of Indigo as she sized up the orange haired woman who approached them now. This was to be her opponent? And they were both allowed to go full out? Ash smiled genuinely at the thought of finally being able to go full out...however she decided against it. She was confident of beating this woman, however she couldn't allow herself to get too caught up in the fight. She couldn't give Georgie any clues about her location after all.
"Ashlyn Johnson, pleasure to meet you. I look forward to it as well." Ash bowed respectively towards the older mage before glancing towards Indigo now as she talked. Nodding to the S-Class of Frenzy Plant, she tightened her right glove.
"Sounds like a plan. Lead the way!" Ash said as some fire sparked off of her glove briefly. As she waited for Indigo to take them to where their duel would take place, she was already thinking of which abilities and spells she could use in the fight.
As much as she wanted to go full out, she knew very well her own capabilities of doing so and didn't wish to harm the other mage (too badly) so knew she had to pick her spells correctly here.

He was still a little shaken up, and he ached all over, but he was ok for now. He waltzed over to Sasha and placed a hand on her shoulder. "When you have a minute. There's a few things you should know." He left it at that, and eased his way up the stairs and into his room, almost slamming the door shut. He placed himself against a wall and slid down it, wrapping his bleeding hands up in cloth from his bedside table. The stranger was using his magic. He lost his magic after his strange treatment. There must be a link. It couldn't be a coincidence. He furrowed his brow, pondering the situation, cursing himself for being so careless.

"Of course I'm okay. I might've gotten hit once or twice, but that aint enough to really hurt me. My pride might be a bit hurt but overall... Frenzy Plant does not impress me." Joshua said to Amaya, returning the hug and ruffling her hair before turning to the new face. He shook the boys outstretched hand. "A pleasure. Name's Joshua, Joshua Tamashii."

Turning back to the Arena, a frown came across his face.
"A great warrior? No, I'm just a warrior, nothing more, nothing less. Nolan... Nolan is a great warrior. He fought something less then human to a draw despite it's great power. He, if nothing else is a great warrior." Joshua said before tightening his grip on his sword. "I was borderline useless in that fight because I was unprepared. That won't happen again. Next time I see those weeds, I'll make sure to pluck them. After all, I got some motivation now."



"ICE CREAM!" Elyse shouted excited as they entered the ice cream parlor, rushing up to the glass display to look at the bright and colorful treat.

Jackie followed the little girl, looking at the flavors before turning to Jack.
"It looks poisonous. It's too bright." She said.

Amelia hung back and looked up at Jamie, concerned since her mother hadn't said anything in a while.
"Mama, is everything okay?" She asked.

Delsin meanwhile, was not too surprised when his opponent appeared behind him. He looked over his shoulder and quickly judged what angle her weapon swing would come from before rolling out of the way.
"Sieg, heads up!" He shouted.

Siegard looked around and saw the energy wve. With a grunt, he managed to lift his opponent up and toss Hunter in the direction of the wave, though if the Dragon-slayer would actually land anywhere near it, let alone get hit by the wave, was another story.

Hunter flipped mid air and forced himself to the ground with a roar, stopping a couple feet from where the wave disappeared. However, Hunter smiled and when Sieghard looked at his arm, a jade crest was now on the palm of his hand. "Entombing Emblem. Nasty little trick my father taught me the hard way. Figured it out while I was out training over the last couple months." When Hunter said the name, the emblem began to spread and motion in the arm it was on became more difficult as the stone spread. Hunter took the opportunity to form the trumpet with his hands and blast a roar towards the swordsman before leaping to parallel him then moving forward, his arm pulled back to deliver a Claw attack. Following that he would follow it up with another Drill Horn.

Ammy, meanwhile, brought her scythe down and around over and over again, subtly maneuvering him towards his partner as he battled Hunter. However, as they drew ever closer, she used her mist again, this time following it up with a different attack. "Death's Hungering Skull." A giant purple skull flew towards the three combatants and Hunter leaped away from Siegard to one side, breaking off from whatever combat they were in to avoid the attack. Ammy didn't expect it to catch either of Rider's Blade members, but now all the prerequisites had been cast to use one of her strongest moves.

Delsin ducked and weaved but he was no fool. He saw what she was doing after a few swipes and quickly shot himself in the head after switching ammo, vanishing the moment the bullet hit him.

Siegard was having his own problem. Jade was a strong stone, so breaking it was almost entirely out of the question, least by anything he could do. His opponent was another story though. He dodged the roar by rolling to the side and used his now stone encrusted arm to block the Claw and Drill attacks, having Hunter chip away the jade in the process.

In concerns of the skull, it never reached either of them, as Delsin appeared in the air and fired a shot that caused it to vanish on impact, as he landed on the ground again.
"Damn ma'am, you are a nasty piece of work. I think you need to go outside more often. You're magic is all doom and gloom and you have such a pretty face when you aren't in that form." He said, a cheerful smile on his face.

"Focus Delsin." Siegard said, shouldering his sword.

"I am. Just paying a lady a compliment. She deserves it."

Ammy made no reply and Hunter took the momentary distraction to catch Siegard from behind and throw him into Delsin. "Banter is a distraction gentlemen." Hunter took the offensive once more, renewing his Jade Scale armor before doing so and once more engaging Delsin as he recovered by lashing out a with a nasty round house. Expecting the gunslinger to try and keep his distance and possibly trade places with Siegard again, he stayed on top of the bounter hunter, martial arts moves mixed with various Dragon Slayer magic attacks coming in a constant stream to try and force him to get inventive.

Ammy simply ignored the comment and turned towards Siegard, her scythe's tip buried in the ground as she regarded the man in front of her. She never moved, never spoke, but the sense that she was planning something pervaded everyone's mind as she stood there in her Reaper form. Finally, she raised one hand and beckoned Siegard forward, remaining in her relatively relaxed state.

Siegard calmly landed on his feet before he hit Delsin but made no attempt to help Delsin, instead watching as he was engaged by the Jade Dragon. When Ammy beckoned him forward, he pointed at Delsin and Hunter.
"You have no interest in this match mi'lady. I have no interest in it either, as I already know how well I would do. I might stand a chance against your friend, but against you, I stand none. So we will hinge the entire match on them. The winner wins for their team." He said before returning to watching.

Delsin ducked, weaved, jumped, and rolled out of the way of Hunter's reign of blows. He knew he needed to find an opening, but knew none would show up unless it was on purpose. So he had to make his own, he just had to figure out how.

Ammy simply nodded and turned to watch her guild mate fight. She had no doubt about Hunter's capabilities, and personally placed the Jade Dragon Slayer in S-Class in terms of power. However, power was not always the deciding factor in a fight like this.

Hunter kept up his onslaught, keeping the gunman close and on the defensive. He knew he had to land a blow to get the opening he needed for his next move. Finally, he decided on a plan that was risky, but the payout would be high if it worked. Grabbing the ducking Delsin after a missed elbow strike, Hunter flipped over him and landed in a crouch, pulling the bounty hunter over him and throwing him towards the wall. As he flew, Hunter unleashed a roar to shield his movements, following it until he was a few feet away and then jumping in the air and use a Wing Attack. Knowing the Bounty Hunter would dodge it, Hunter began to spin his arms.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Arts: Feral Gaia: Jade Maelstrom!" Before Delsin could catch on, he found himself caught up in a whirlwind of jagged jade stone fragments, all intent on putting the mage out of the fight. However, below, Hunter remained ready, prepared for his Secret Art to not do what he hoped.

"Are you a mage or a berserker with green armor? Cause really, it's getting hard to tell." Delsin said, still simply dodging Hunter's blows as there was little else he could do. When the Roar came, he dodged it by the skin of his teeth, giving him the ability to appreciate the spell from a closer distance then he would like. The wing attack hit home though and sent Delsin, flying and the bounty hunter was slow to get to his feet, finding himself trapped within a whirlwind of Jade. "Okay... so... maybe you actually are a mage."

Hunter didn't reply, prepping for another roar and then thinking better of it. Instead, he braced himself against the ground, and then launched himself straight into the maelstrom with a Drill Horn, then catching and using Delsin to spin and get above the gunslinger. "Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Feral Gaia: Jade Drill Spear!" When Delsin looks up, he finds a Jade encased Hunter plummeting towards him at high speed like a spinning drill.

Delsin really didn't have any warning to react to Hunter's initial attack but his reaction to the Jade Drill Spear was quick. He fired a bullet and switched places with the Dragon slayer, Hunter instantly hitting the ground while Delsin was up in the air. The bounty hunter unloaded his gun on Hunter, hitting the dragon Slayer with an explosion of fire, followed by torrent of water that was quickly met with a gale of icy wind, freezing the water while simultaneously heating and cooling Hunter's scales at a rapid rate in the hopes of weakening them, possibly even cracking them.

Hunter had to give the guy his props, the swap had probably saved him from a rather serious hurt, but the barrage of bullets only gave Hunter an idea. After they ended, Hunter leapt up towards Delsin again, the Maelstrom beginning to dissipate, though it's damage was done to it's target. Halfway there, he shed the old layer of scales and threw them at Delsin, using them for cover as he equipped another light layer and then used a Talon attack, aiming to drive Delsin into the ground and hopefully end the fight.

"Eat this you son of a bitch." Delsin muttered before firing again. this time, when the bullet exited the chamer, it expanded into a giant ball of pure steel, which then proceeded to fall on Hunter.

Delsin landed on the ground, panting as he looked at Siegard
"He's not going down cause of a little weight is he?"

"What do you think?"

"No, Jack, I don't need you to pave the way. With someone like Sanders, its best to show an united front as well as showing strength" Jamie replied pushing the door oopen to the ice cream parlor, watching as Elyse ran off towards the display. "The ice cream is meant to be bight, butI assure you Jackie, it is not poisonous. The brightness merely coems from the colouring they put in and most of the time it actually comes frm the ingrediants. Its harmless, but why don't you ave Vanilla, its just white, but tastes nice" Jamie said patient, looking to Amelia when she spoke, "Everythings is always okay, its just sometimes things are difficult"

Sasha gave a heavy sigh, watching Lazarus go, she stood there a moment, unsure if she even wanted to follow right then, but eventually concern won over and she followed Lazarus to his room. She didn't bother knocking, but opened the door. Giving another sigh, she went over to him, taking the cloth she gently began to wrap his hands properly.

He let Sasha wrap the cloth around his hands, sighing. "I did something I shouldn't have..." He paused. "I was approached by an organization that said they would blur the memories I had of my own past." He was ashamed and couldn't look at Sasha. He proceeded to tell her everything he knew. Minutes later he came to his conclusion. "And that is why I think I can't access my god slayer magic, and more importantly, I believe it has something to do with my attacker earlier." He took a deep breath, to allow her to take all that in.

Trinity Stratos

Trinity had retreated to her room with Karn, petting him and studying him as she pondered a solution. She set the orange tabby on the bed and pet him sweetly before she drew the blinds and took a breath. She set a small pile of fire arrows on the bed for him to chew on before she sat next to him, rubbing her chin as she pondered to herself. "To capture sound..." She lay back on the bed with her arms behind her head, thinking. "Hmmm."

It had been a relief that her name hadn't been called for the fights yet. Meant she had a bit of time to think of something.

Karn felt quite a bit groggy, he gave a soft yawn at his curled up form, purring as his guildmate set him on the bed. Stretching a little as the curtains were drawn and he felt sunlight bathe him. Helping in replenishing his energy and health. Opening his eyes, the draconic feline sniffed the fire arrows before promptly inhaling about half of the pile of fire then nibbling happily on the others. Soon enough he had finished them and he then casually plopped on Trinity's belly, purring, paws gingerly kneeding the cloth of her clothes.

"Yummm..." he purred.

"Mm?" Trinity looked down at her stomach as she felt her cat guildmate climb onto her stomach. She smiled softly and pet him as he snuggled in, kneading softly. At least it was a place where the cloth was thicker, and he wasn't pricking her skin. Of course, he'd be too mindful of her to do that anyway, right? Probably. She rubbed the back of his neck, pondering her solution. She needed to catch sound... She felt Karn vibrating under her hand as he purred, and it reminded her of a time she went a concert with her mother, back in Minstrel. At one point, she could feel the music shake her bones.

She could remember what it felt like, too. It was like a wall was hitting her, pushing through her and beyond. So, she was catching a wall?

"Hmm..." She drew a little circle in Karn's back before holding her arms out over her. "Energy Make." The usual golden orb formed between her hands before she tugged and pulled it into a thin sheet. She turned it flat and touched her finger lightly to the side, pulling a string out to the side. It holds level, before it starts to shake and wiggle, waves coming out from the flat pane.

"Hey, I think I'm on to something..."

That sounds like dark magic, and more importantly, you learned your god slayer magic through your association with one of Zeref's books. Of course they were interested in you. You can't just wipe your past, and you cant just do it without consequences even if you can. Our pasts make us, Lazarus. Your attacker, its you. And that's why they know what you do"

Sasha could easily wish that the games hadn't occurred. it seemed like there was just too much occurring since the games began. She sighed, "We'll have to figure this out, and soon"

Sayatachi could see the rage boiling up in Argus' veins. Maybe she shouldn't have been too pushy. After all, he's nothing more than a stranger. Surely he wouldn't reveal such information to her. But then again, it could actually form a friendly bond. All she's playing is, in technical sense, a counselor, with he being her patient. It was unintentional of course, but that's what basically is going on at this time. However...

"But then again . . . maybe that wouldn't be so bad." Argus spoke absent-mindedly, his eyes focusing on his drink as he did so with a firey intensity. "In fact, why should I even go back to the damn guild in the first place. They probably don't want me there anyway, I'm just their damn responsibility. *tch* I'm as much a prisoner as Isla, now that I think about it, held there by a will that is not my own."

The flamboyant female raised an eyebrow at this statement. She was going to ask something until her patient sighed as he let his head fall to the table. An invisible drop of sweat comes from Sayatachi as she wonders what's going on.

"He didn't even notice he talked his thought aloud?" she wondered to herself.

After what can be argued as an awkward silence, his anger began to rapidly decrease as he finally answers Sayatachi's question himself, awake and aware.

"My issue is that I'm a damn menace, or that's how it feels like at least."

It grabs her Majesty's attention as she stays silent and begins to listen to what he has to say.

"I've tried for five years to help people with my magic, but unless it has to do with fighting and killing, it usually ends in disaster. I've no self-control, hardly any self-worth, and now I feel like a second hand citizen in the guild I joined cause I've yet to receive the damn mark. . . *haah* Damn, I'm a real baby aren't I, whining about a stupid mark."

Sayatachi lets out an almost inaudible "Hmm", until Argus' head had shot up as he'd spoken, indignation and resentment lacing his words as he glared at the woman that sat across from him, before he fell back down into his depressive state from before, swirling the water in his mug endlessly as he felt the weight of his emotions weigh down on him. That made a little jump in the lady on the inside, but alas she still kept calm.

"I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing, really, cause I'm sure their are reasons but . . . I don't know, I just don't feel any of that supposed camaraderie amongst most of the members I've met. In fact, I'm pretty sure two of them hate my guts by now, and the rest are either wary of me, or don't trust me as far as they can throw. But given the circumstances, I shouldn't blame them, and yet I can't help but turn all of my anger towards them. In the end, i just end up feeling like crap . . . and I've chosen to burden a random stranger I just met with all this baggage."

Argus' head fell to the table again with a solid thunk as he realized what he'd done, and feeling even worse because of it. Sayatachi was then going to say something else until he interrupted her briefly.

"If you want to leave, please do. Don't feel obligated to listen to me anymore than you have, it isn't fair of me to burden you with my issues and what not."

A small pause came in between the both of them. That was when the Rainbow Majesty finally began to speak.

"Leave?" she asks first, "Why should I leave? I asked what was going on with you and you answered it. From my understanding, you seem to be having a bit of an issue blending in with the guild your in. That's simply natural for someone to be this way... Tell me. What guild do you happen to be in? Not all guilds are created equal, with some being more stressful or demanding than others.

"Shit, give me a heart attack why don't you?" Nolan says with a jump.

Yup, he's still scared of women alright. Of course that's nothing more than logic anyways. He pulled the blanket up to hide his almost bare torso.

"Blood lust and rage. That's what happened."

Samir would rub her chin as she listened to that statement.

"What exactly?" the Archer asked curiously, "Facing a girl perhaps?"

That was of course a joke, but still, she wondered who he fought.

Damian waited a moment then sighed quietly. "Suppose I deserve that." Spotting Sanders, Damian approaches him, stopping a couple feet away and bows, hands at his side. "Guild Master Sanders? I think I owe you and your guild at large both an explanation and an apology."




James lead the way out to the courtyard, drawing his blade and placing his shield. "Just your sword for now. I would, however, first like to review what I've already taught you about defense using your blade. What's the best way to defend against a horizontal slash?" The key to what James had to teach Cody today was in the basics, which never hurt to review.




Jack sighed, letting Jamie go talk with her adopted daughter while Jack walked up next to Jackie. "Jamie's correct, the colors aren't meant as a sign of poison, it's a way to attract customers. All the flavors are good, my personal favorite is mint chocolate chip, but if you want something good and plain, vanilla is the way to go."
