Sasha@YipeeXDSasha reached out when Lazarus yelled, feeling like she couldn't do anything.
"We will stop him. I know he's dangerous, you've told me what you did, remember? But Zeref's dead, and its just the book you used, right?" She was trying to be reassuring, but what could she say, truly?
"It would be dangerous to not do anything, Lazarus. You've already been attacked. And we can't risk something happening during the games, do you know how many people could get hurt?"Jessie@hatakekuro"And we still have two more battles to go, honestly, the strength of these wizards, its a little overwhelming! Certainly makes me glad I haven't angered any of them!" Jessie said, flicking her micophone off, and flashing a grin at Ferris, before leaning in and kissing him quickly, and hurriedly stealing a bit of his food,
"Mine now"Phoenix Wing versus Pirate LordThe third battle was in the process of being chosen, and the crowd was rowdy, excited and pumped from the previous battles, and ready for another action filled battle. Sheldon finally yelled
"It's going to be Trinity and Rose of Phoenix Wing B and Bellat and Blair of Pirate Lord! Come on, lets get this battle going!"Rose had managed to find her way to the stands where the rest of her guild was sitting just as the game master announced the next match
"Me and Trinity....This is going to be interesting...Elyse, I need you to stay with our fellow wing memebers, mommy has to go perform and put on a show with our friend trinity. I will be back shortly" Rose said gently to her daughter trusting her to stay put as Rose separated into black butterflies as the herd of butterflies raced to the arena before fluttering around in a circle. Slowly, Rose reformed as the butterflies gathered as she waited for the other opponents to appear Her Gold eyes watched the crowd around them.
Rose sighed doing a wave to everyone before she pulled her Raven black hair into a ponytail before her arms folded in front of her chest as she waited for these 'pirate lord' guild members to appear so she could get back to being with her daughter.
Bellat and Blair had both been waiting to fight, and thus they wet enough excited to finally be able to. Blair cheered, and ran down to the arena grounds while bellat calmly walked down, a stark contrast to Blair. The devil slayer tended not to get worked up by things, but he wouldn't go down easily. Blair on he other hand tended to be cheerful, and excitable.
They both waited for their opponents to appear, Blair constantly moving while bellat waited patiently
"Aah, duelies?" Trinity's head perked when she heard her name, and an eyebrow raised as she heard Rose, as well. "This should be interesting. Let's hope I'm a little better than my in my last team fight." The minstrel chuckled softly as she mused to herself, though she was a little startled when a swarm of butterflies flew past her. "Butterflies? Reminds me of Annalise..." That was two things that made her think of that job, now. She would do well to remember the lessons she learned there.
The archer walked her way on down to the edge of the seating area, just before the arena and she jumped down, rolling with her landing and tumbling to her feet. The minstrel stepped up beside Rose, facing their opponents. "Hey, Rose. Any ideas?"
" Honestly they kinda remind me of opposites. That one is too cheery the other one is very conserved. I know nothing about either so I say plan of attack keep them apart and occasionally toss them off guard till we figure weaknesses of their along with magic" she replied shrugging as she looked over at trinity leaning on her left leg as her arms remained folded as she watched the opponents trying to see what she could of them.
Blair was eager, the spirit Mage was more then ready to start, and she looked at their opponents.
trinity, requip charm Mage, right? Rose, shadow Mage. Both are pretty good members in Phoenix wing. This should be great! and thought and she grinned at both girls,
"ready?" she didn't wait for an answer, instead she began to summon spirits, first Skellington, because who doesn't love a skeleton? The almost fancy skeleton appeared, and bowed to Blair, as she summoned the headless horse man as well, both spirits waited.
Ballet just stood, and watched
Trinity appraised her opponents moves as she requipped her weapons. She twirled her bow once in her hand and conjured a few arrows, storing them in her quiver. Two fire, two ice, and five wind. She cracked her neck to either side and rolled her shoulders, limbering up for a fight. "Yeah, I'm ready. Someone gonna start us or do we just... go?"
As an archer... the fleet-foot of cavalry was a little intimidating. She'd want to go for the horseman first, to reduce the threats to her position behind the front- wait. What if there's no front line? They'd be at a disadvantage if they were both distance-attackers. Her card might have to come out early, in that case. "So, Rose. Front line or back line?" While not a literal question, she hoped the meaning was understood.
"I'll be front line, I always preferred to be front and center...my shadows can't wait to stretch their fangs" She stated with a smirk as she laced her figures behind her back as she moved forward. She watched the witch looking lady summon her allies as Rose smiled
" a horseman and a skeleton...two of my favorite Halloween creatures...though they got nothing on the shadows that allow them to hide on Halloween night" She said crouching down on one knee as she placed her hands on the ground looking at her opponents
"how about we give your allies a good feeling of home...Shadow Dome!" She spoke as like paint her shadow expanded the entire ground of the field before the outer edge leaped up forming a dome over the battle. The dome blocked out a lot of the light but still left some for those who weren't accustom to her magic to see. She stood back up as she clapped her hands together
" That's a lot better I think, feels more like home to me...and my sister's...Let me introduce you to them...Shadow siblings"The shadow dome assist in kinda assisting Rose's magic as four figures took form beside her as they were solid look a likes of her all having a sort of twisted smile before she watched her opponents reactions as her copies slowly walked forward letting out slight giggles here and there as the real Rose stayed in the back watching the event.
Bellal acted first. fire lashing through the air, as if to banish the shadows. It twirled like a snake, twisting in the air, and shooting towards Rose and Trinity. Blair cackled, almost witch like, and Skellington called a frigid wind, buffeting the two phoenix wing fighters, and the headless horseman charged, waving his flaming sword. Both pirate lord mages stood, watching their attacks.
"Your fire won't banish my shadows only cast more" all the Rose's said at once as the real one folded her arms before sinking into her playground of shadows. She formed silently behind Bellal using a mixture of his shadow and the shadows he casted. "Shadow crush" she said as the shadows solidify around the two enemies before trying to cave in one them as she sunk back into her shadows reforming from trinity's shadow to watch
Bellal moved smoothly, and avoided any attack from Rose, instead, he leaped back, within a circle of light, and encasing himself in flames, preventing his shadow from being seen, or at least changing so much that it was insubstantial.
He then sent flames licking towards all the shadow figures that he could see.
Trinity retaliated against the initial fire attack with a wind arrow at the ground in front of her. Once the arrow stuck the ground, it created an updraft beneath the flames, sending them up and away from the minstrel. As the horseman began to charge them, the bardic archer drew an ice arrow from her quiver, firing for the feet of the mount.
Trinity then pulled three wind arrows back, aiming for the fire mage. "Triple Shot!" As she loosed them, they triplicated, all nine hurtling toward the burning man.
the Shadows Roses faded in and out of the fire mages sight trying to mess with him and the witch along with the summons. two moved around the fire mage taunting him and his fire magic.
"Come on, You have to have your magic surround you like a safety blanket...How sad and you can't hit little me? Just give up, save yourself from being embarrassed."Taunted the Clones in unison moving every which way around him.
Rose crouched down on the balls of her feet laying her fist against the ground
"Shadow Fist"She whispered as four large fists came from the shadows each one attacking a different opponent. Rose soon stood up after the attack
"Man, maybe I should have been born with a different magic cause this use to be fun when I was using my magic to fight everyday."She said jokingly to trinity
"But then again I don't want Elyse to want to take after my magic."She added
Bellal didn't react, just began twisting the flames more and more, using Skellington's winds to keep his flames down, surrounding Trinity, and managing to burn the arrows before they reached him.
The headless horsemen continued to charge, the arrow not seeming to, for the moment, bother the horse. Blair cackled, and nodded to Skelington, who smiled, and bowed, before approaching Trinity, unfazed by the flames.
"Tsk." The archer assessing the flames that surrounded her, despite her best efforts to quell them with wind. They did not strike fire, so they burned, instead. Then again, the basic arrows were flimsy. She'd have to attack more seriously if she wanted to get through their defense. But first, she had to do something about being surrounded. The minstrel dove out of the way of the charging horseman, calling, "repeat!" Her last shot primed itself as she pulled the string and she unleashed another flurry of wind arrows, this time aimed at a section of the fires surrounding her, at the base of the flames. The wind unleashed from the arrows would open the way for her to dive out from her first predicament.
"Against skeletons, you should try... bashing, right?" Made sense. Normally, the idea seemed so plain and boring she wouldn't try it, but if she needed to crush them with weight, maybe this was the way to do it. "Stone Arrow!" A very dense arrow with a round tip forms in her hand, made of a very heavy rock. "I always thought this arrow was a little silly..." She aims for the horseman, and looses her weighty projectile.
