Cyare Staunton

@Plank Sinatra @Caasicam @Silvan Haven [@Here Comes The Snow]

"I... Suppose a small breakfast would not go amiss." The admission came with great reluctance, but Cyare spoke it aloud anyway. It would let her avoid needing to put a breakfast on her bill, and she rather suspected (from her limited observation) that this Ferrara would not take no for an answer. And whether she would admit it or not, she had not yet gotten the chance to consume breakfast. Something rather necessary if she was to perform up to her capacity on the coming job.

"Only a small one. I refuse to freeload."

For several seconds, the ball didn't move, didn't shift like the Dragon Slayer was even trying to move it. Then, with a mighty grunt of effort, Hunter rolled it to one side and stood up, his new layer of scales vanishing and being replaced once more as he rolled his shoulders. "Damn, that one hurt. You know, it's kinda rude to throw a giant steel ball on people." Sliding back into his stance, he pulled a fist back. "Still, this has been one hell of a fight. But I figure we should wrap things up if we're going to get full points for either of us, right?" Rushing forward, Hunter unleashed a barrage of Steel Fists, once more staying in the gunslinger's guard.

He kept it up, waiting for the gunslinger to slip up. And if he did, he would unleash a point blank Roar on Delsin, aiming to end the match.

Delsin sighed as he began dodging again, but this time, instead of waiting for the Dragon Slayer to attack him with something bigger, the Bounty Hunter began firing close range shots at his opponent, most of them explosive with an occasional one meant to pierce thick armor put into the mix.

Hunter grinned as his opponent fought back this time instead of staying on the defensive, trying to catch the Dragon Slayer mid attack and it was having decent effect. The first few round managed to blow off a couple chunks of the scales, but they were quickly replaced, indicating he wasn't using the ability to it's full power. His response was to knock the guns off target when he could, eventually managing to catch Delsin's left hand use it to knock the aim on his right hand off before catching it. "Good fight. Maybe we can do it again sometime." Inhaling, he prepared to unleash the point blank roar on the man in front of him.

"Boom." Delsin said before tossing the gun from his right hand to the left hand and shooting Hunter in the knee with a armor piercing round.

Even as Delsin fired the armor piercing round, Hunter released the roar into his opponent's face, releasing him and letting it carry the bounty hunter all the way into the wall behind him. In the meantime, Hunter released several profanities at the amount of pain he'd just received for a gutsy, if successful, move. Damn that HURTS! OK, we gotta wrap this up soon. Adrenaline can carry me through a little longer, but Ammy'll have my ass if I don't get it seen to soon.

Delsin was sent flying and hit the wall hard enough to leave a crack in it before falling to the ground. He didn't move for several second's before slowly getting to his feet. He took one bullet and loaded it into his gun. One shot to try and finish this. That was all he had now. His opponent was crippled by his last shot but that might mean nothing in the end.

Hunter braced himself a moment and thickened the area around his knee, using his scales to help control the damage while he kept fighting. "Jade Dragon's Full Scales." The scale armor that he'd been using got noticeably thicker and more prominent before he started running towards Delsin. After a short distance, he leapt forward and started spinning again, but this time instead of just a drill horn, he used the Drill Spear again, rushing forwards with the intent to finish the fight quickly.

"Nova." Delsin muttered before firing the shot. When it hit Hunter, a massive explosion occurred, strong enough to cause Siegard to actually have to brace himself against it, possibly stopping Hunter's attack in the process.

As the explosion enveloped the drill spear, the jade surrounding the Dragon Slayer shattered, but his forward momentum did not as his head slammed into Delsin's chest and knocked him a ways back. Hunter, starting to really feel his wounds, laid on the ground panting for a few seconds before heaving himself up and turning to face the gunslinger. Instead, he was faced with a passed out opponent. Ammy turned her head to look at Siegard. "Is that sufficient or shall we have a bout anyways?"

Siegard didn't even turn his head as he looked at Ammy, his arms folded.
"Do you honestly think either of us would stand a chance against you, even if Delsin and I had taken you two-on-one? I think not. So I surrender. Dragon Fang wins." He said simply before walking away, sheathing his blade. He went over to Delsin and helped him to his feet before the two left without another word.

Ammy dismissed her Reaper form, the purple energy that had enveloped her dissipating as easily as it had formed, and helped Hunter up as well, clearing the field for the next match.

Lazarus
@caits
Thinking back to it. He did sound like himself. It was different though. His attacker may have used his voice and body, but that wasn't the kind of man he was. His head started burning, searing in pain. He clutched his forehead, in intense pain. It was as if someone was branding his mind with a searing hot poker. He was yelled, wishing for it to stop. He saw a flash, before it stopped.

"Please Lazarus, have mercy!" screamed the priests. They cowered in a huddle in the center of the room.

Lazarus grinned and brought his hand up, almost like an execution order. "Die." The priests all screamed, before they were obliterated by dark magic.

Lazarus sat up straight, in a panic. He remembered the terrible person he once was. "Oh no." He gasped. All his memories before joining Phoenix wing, they were blurred out by that woman. But it seemed his attacker had access to everything he had learned up to that point. "Sasha. We have to stop that man. Everyone's lives are in danger." Nobody knew the kind of magic that Lazarus used in his past, because they didn't live to tell the tale. Lazarus had found information in a book. It was a curse which could summon Zeref. He withheld this from Sasha for the time being. "It would be dangerous to do anything right now though... We have to be patient." True, he did know the curse, but it took a tremendous amount of power to perform. It would take several S class wizards to accumulate that kind of power, not to mention the time to prepare it. "We should wait to see what he does during the games." He finished, waiting to hear Sasha's input.

Argus Leandros

" . . . Frenzy Plant." Was all Argus said, not really seeing the point in saying anything else. Still, he did pick himself up a bit, feeling a bit less down heartened when the woman mentioned him having trouble wasn't an uncommon phenomena. I need to stop letting Grimm get into my head like that.

Looking around the bar, his eyes fell on the Vision Lacrima again, noting the battle this time was between Dragons Fang and Riders Blade, and seemed to be getting rather intense from the look of things. He spend a few more moments watching before he turned his attention back to Sayatachi, resting his head on his elbow as he looked her over somewhat.

"Sayatachi-san, What do you know about the guilds participating in the games at the moment, and the mages currently participating in them?"

Angel Ferrara - HOUSEWAIFU

The young chef beamed brightly, genderfluid features radiating as he pushed his hair out of golden eyes and tightened his arm around Kaia. Clearly Cyare's answer had pleased him, and he made the happiness known by aiming it at the other pair of new mages.

"I can cook whatever breakfast I wanna cook. And it'd be impolite to waste it, Cyare." Kaia's hair was ruffled as a surrogate outlet for the playfulness leftover from Angel's coy response, and he grinned even wider. "Everyone needs to eat up before a job! You need at least seven eggs to build muscle. Nine's more like it. I'm only gonna be making everyone two, so I wouldn't complaaaaaaaain!"

Kaia made a face in mock annoyance as once again her eight-hour hairstyle was ruffled, thought was completely unable to stop the smile from spreading across it. Angel cooking, while not rare by any stretch of the imagination, was still easily one of the best things to grace... just about anywhere under the sun. They, tragically, hadn't seemed to grasp that fact yet.

"Cyare please, you can't go fighting demons hungry," Kaia chirped, "Besides," she wrapped a possessive arm around the cook, as if to protect him from the horrors of the world at large. "You don't want to hurt his feeeeelings, right?"

NOLAN and DALTON

"I could hardly call that thing a woman." Nolan muttered, his eyes averted away from Samir's. God dammit, why did he have to be so exposed in front of a woman? It just made him feel so vulnerable. Deciding to try and bear through it, he would just answer her question. "It was a tag battle against Frenzy Plant and my partner was dead weight. He preferred to taunt them while I was fighting a dullahan and an S-Class by myself for the majority of the battle. To be frank if Joshua hadn't stopped me, I would've probably defeated them on my own though they would be dead." Nolan truly didn't have any tact at all. He was honest with how he felt and how he saw his partner in battle. Still, he looked frustrated with the fact that he lost. Losing was something that he really didn't like, not one bit.

"NOLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAN!" A purple blur flew past Samir and tackled Nolan, leaving the God Slayer jerking back against the bed. It was Dalton, who was sobbing violently in Nolan's bare chest. "I thought ya were deaaaaaaaaaad! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Somehow, the Exceed sobbed even louder, but instead of being touched by the Exceed, Nolan was visibly annoyed.

Nolan grabbed the Exceed by his pompadour and gave him a glare. "Me? Die from something like this? Listen here you perverted fur ball, the only way I'll die is if the gods themselves come for me and even then I'll fight my way through hell to go and drag them back with me. Now stop crying already...I'll treat you to some food if you shut up." Nolan averted his gaze as he dropped Dalton on his lap, the Exceed sniffled.

@Caits
FERRIS

"And it's just one monster after another! Dragon Fang overwhelms Rider's Blade and forces them to surrender with sheer power alone! Today we are truly seeing the true strongest players of the Grand Magic Games fight today! What else can we expect from the next match?!" He said in between mouthfuls of food. He saw Jessie starting to steal some of his own food and blocks her chopsticks with his own. "Hey, that's my food!"

"You are both excessively manipulative." The mountain native stated, albeit with a hint of resignation. Adequate nutrition really was necessary. Especially headed into a job. Her breakfast would normally be pretty large anyway, but her (defied) attempts to minimize her new compatriots' work were born from a desire to be quick than from normalcy. Not that it mattered. It seemed she would be settling in for a moderate breakfast, at the absolute smallest. She did not put it past Ferrara to increase the size when he thought no one was looking. Iona would no doubt happily be his accomplice.

As she was doing now.

Nevertheless, she wouldn't be able to leave yet anyway. Rei was nowhere to be seen, and as irritating as he was, she could not really leave without him. Which necessitated that she stay until he showed up anyway. There would be hell to pay if he made her miss the checkout deadline, however. Paying for a day that she wouldn't be staying would be truly aggravating. And rather harsh on her funds.

"I acquiesce. This once."

Wes Gusto| Crocus, Marketplace
@Jangel13
“A café sounds good. But you’ll have to find one. Although I traveled around the city since yesterday, I didn’t keep track of cafes while I searched for Shutler.” When he heard about going to a café than the guild’s hotel, a bit of relief went through Wes. It’s only been a few months since he left the guild, but it felt as if the guild members could still carry ill thoughts of him for leaving. But a trip to the café could probably help calm things and concentrate on other matters.

As the two wizards walked, Wes still couldn’t help but think about it. After returning from Edolas, he heard how Phoenix Wing defeated the Magic Council and stopped the corrupt members. Although that might have been good, en event like that could prove to cause dangerous consequences. Apparently from what he has been hearing, dark guild activities have been more frequent. With Pheonix Wing actions, the guild could become more of a target for those who see the guild as a threat. The guild couldn’t simply be doing fine . Angelo, has the guild really been doing okay in the past few months or even these past recent days?”

Monsoon | Crocus, Abandoned Warehouse
@Lunarlors34
“Agreed.” With that said, Monsoon took the book. At the moment, his highest priority is acquiring the book and as Georgie questioned about the reason for needing it, he simply said “No.” . But before he took a step away, he had to ask about the girl in the photo. “Who is she exactly? A picture alone won’t help me find this person. A name, magic, skills sets, history, known records, interests, associates, hobbies, and all the information you know about her. If you truly want this girl, then you need to tell me why she left, last known whereabouts, what she would expect, what she is weak against, what will break her?”

Georgie, Maxie Firestorm and Mayami Fuyu

@Expolar
"I can't tell you why she left. That's a secret." Georgie chuckled into her sleeve as she watched carefully as Mansoon took the book. She seemed reluctant to hand over the grimoire, despite her owning numerous each one was quite precious to her and she wasn't fond of sharing. However to gain something, one must give something in return.
And besides she was getting the book back one way or another.
"However I can tell you as much as you need to know without revealing too much about the guild. Her name is Ashlyn Johnson, she usually goes by the nickname Ash however. Her magic is actually quite interesting." Georgie began as a small bar stool made from darkness appeared underneath her.

She promptly sat down, and despite it being a small bar stool her legs still dangled quite far off the ground.
"Without going into boring details, she uses a very rare and powerful fire magic. Just keep her calm and her body temperature down and she is rather easy to subdue. However she is quite....well...how should I put this? Prideful? Defiant? Unstable?" Georgie placed her hand on her chin now as she seemed to think of how to answer Monsoon's questions. Georgie herself didn't actually have a lot to do with Ash with her time at the guild, Ash was always off doing her own thing which Georgie could respect if she found it enjoyable.

"I reccommend water against her, preferably before she notices you. If she's soaked to the bone she can't use her magic, for various reasons. However she will dry off eventually, quicker than you may think, so you'll need to subdue her in that time frame but it will be a walk in the park anyway. I have some records of her if they help, I put them in the envelop I gave you. It contains her last known location, history and habits but nothing much other than that." Georgie looked skyward as an obvious boredom began to enter her facial expression...she was getting bored of talking to this Monsoon fellow. He seemed like a stick in the mud.
Maybe since she was in Crocus already she could have some 'fun'? After all, as long as she wasn't caught who would notice?
Glancing back towards Monsoon she sighed before continuing.

"She has no associates since she left the guild from what I know of, she's a smart girl she won't get others involved, and the last known whereabouts was from three months ago but it was Hargeon. However if you're curious about her history I'll tell you the short version. Her older sister killed her entire family before her eyes, and thus you could say she despises her older sister. I found the two in time before they killed each other however, I had been keeping an eye on the older sister for some time as I thought she might make a valuable asset to the guild. Alas her younger sister was the real asset, she was one of the strongest wizards when she abandoned us. I can only assume she is stronger now." Georgie's voice was laced with obvious disappointment as she sighed loudly. She shook her head in disbelief before looking back towards Monsoon.

"Ungrateful little brat she is, I show her kindness and she spits in my face. Alas what has happened has happened, now all that remains is punishing the ungrateful brat....I'm sorry I got a little off topic there. Let's see interests and hobbies? She enjoys fighting if that helps. Whenever I talked with her, she also was still hellbent on vengeance on her sister as well but seemed to be interested in little else, other than meat. She loves her meat. She's also quite the troublemaker. I also advice you to refrain from entering hand to hand combat with her, you might regret it if you do." Georgie clicked her fingers suddenly as a magic circle now appeared beside of her. A young man with snow white hair and striking red eyes now appeared as soon as the magic circle faded away.
The young man seemed quite visibly annoyed by his sudden teleportation to Georgie, just what did their damned guild master want this time?

"Georgie may I remind you I was in the middle of tracking down Ashlyn, and who the hell is this?" He frowned heavily as he spoked with complete disrespect to not only Georgie, but Monsoon as well. Just what was she up to this time which required his presence?
"I grow bored of this interaction. If you need any further information Maxie here can answer your questions, he's in charge of hunting down Ashlyn as he is one of only a handful of wizards in the guild, bar myself, capable of going toe to toe with her at this stage in time." Georgie completely ignored Maxie's outburst, not even bothering to turn to face the young man as she continued to talk with Monsoon. She decided that Maxie was best suited to helping Monsoon, he had more to do with Ashlyn than Georgie did and had all the necessary information.

"Maxie, I expect you to co-operate with Mr Monsoon here. After all your failures, this will be your punishment. Mr Monsoon use this disrespectful brat as you deem fit just don't break my toy." Georgie yawned loudly as she looked up towards Monsoon.
"Wait George you haven't-" Maxie went to protest however Georgie was already gone, but not before winking at Monsoon for some reason. Knowing Georgie it could've been anything...
In her place now stood a very confused Manami, who was even more confused when she saw Maxie standing there. When did he get there? And where did Georgie go?
"....." Maxie now stood there in disbelief as he glowered towards Monsoon. There was no way in hell he was working with this guy...Maxie didn't work for anyone bar himself.

Cody Bloodstein

@Zarkun
"A horizontal slash?...A block?" Cody mumbled the first part thoughtfully to himself before saying, with not the greatest confidence in the world, what he believed was the right answer. It seemed like the right one to him anyway, unless of course he had a shield....
Noticing that James was drawing his sword, Cody drew his as well. He was now fully focused on the task at hand, honing his rather pathetic swordsmanship.
Dark guilds. The shadow monsters. Shutler. That 'necromancer'. None of that mattered right now, he needed all concentration on James if he didn't want to end up with too many bruises.

Sasha
@YipeeXD
Sasha reached out when Lazarus yelled, feeling like she couldn't do anything. "We will stop him. I know he's dangerous, you've told me what you did, remember? But Zeref's dead, and its just the book you used, right?" She was trying to be reassuring, but what could she say, truly? "It would be dangerous to not do anything, Lazarus. You've already been attacked. And we can't risk something happening during the games, do you know how many people could get hurt?"

Jessie
@hatakekuro
"And we still have two more battles to go, honestly, the strength of these wizards, its a little overwhelming! Certainly makes me glad I haven't angered any of them!" Jessie said, flicking her micophone off, and flashing a grin at Ferris, before leaning in and kissing him quickly, and hurriedly stealing a bit of his food, "Mine now"

Phoenix Wing versus Pirate Lord

The third battle was in the process of being chosen, and the crowd was rowdy, excited and pumped from the previous battles, and ready for another action filled battle. Sheldon finally yelled "It's going to be Trinity and Rose of Phoenix Wing B and Bellat and Blair of Pirate Lord! Come on, lets get this battle going!"

Rose had managed to find her way to the stands where the rest of her guild was sitting just as the game master announced the next match "Me and Trinity....This is going to be interesting...Elyse, I need you to stay with our fellow wing memebers, mommy has to go perform and put on a show with our friend trinity. I will be back shortly" Rose said gently to her daughter trusting her to stay put as Rose separated into black butterflies as the herd of butterflies raced to the arena before fluttering around in a circle. Slowly, Rose reformed as the butterflies gathered as she waited for the other opponents to appear Her Gold eyes watched the crowd around them.

Rose sighed doing a wave to everyone before she pulled her Raven black hair into a ponytail before her arms folded in front of her chest as she waited for these 'pirate lord' guild members to appear so she could get back to being with her daughter.

Bellat and Blair had both been waiting to fight, and thus they wet enough excited to finally be able to. Blair cheered, and ran down to the arena grounds while bellat calmly walked down, a stark contrast to Blair. The devil slayer tended not to get worked up by things, but he wouldn't go down easily. Blair on he other hand tended to be cheerful, and excitable.

They both waited for their opponents to appear, Blair constantly moving while bellat waited patiently

"Aah, duelies?" Trinity's head perked when she heard her name, and an eyebrow raised as she heard Rose, as well. "This should be interesting. Let's hope I'm a little better than my in my last team fight." The minstrel chuckled softly as she mused to herself, though she was a little startled when a swarm of butterflies flew past her. "Butterflies? Reminds me of Annalise..." That was two things that made her think of that job, now. She would do well to remember the lessons she learned there.

The archer walked her way on down to the edge of the seating area, just before the arena and she jumped down, rolling with her landing and tumbling to her feet. The minstrel stepped up beside Rose, facing their opponents. "Hey, Rose. Any ideas?"

" Honestly they kinda remind me of opposites. That one is too cheery the other one is very conserved. I know nothing about either so I say plan of attack keep them apart and occasionally toss them off guard till we figure weaknesses of their along with magic" she replied shrugging as she looked over at trinity leaning on her left leg as her arms remained folded as she watched the opponents trying to see what she could of them.

Blair was eager, the spirit Mage was more then ready to start, and she looked at their opponents. trinity, requip charm Mage, right? Rose, shadow Mage. Both are pretty good members in Phoenix wing. This should be great! and thought and she grinned at both girls, "ready?" she didn't wait for an answer, instead she began to summon spirits, first Skellington, because who doesn't love a skeleton? The almost fancy skeleton appeared, and bowed to Blair, as she summoned the headless horse man as well, both spirits waited.

Ballet just stood, and watched

Trinity appraised her opponents moves as she requipped her weapons. She twirled her bow once in her hand and conjured a few arrows, storing them in her quiver. Two fire, two ice, and five wind. She cracked her neck to either side and rolled her shoulders, limbering up for a fight. "Yeah, I'm ready. Someone gonna start us or do we just... go?"

As an archer... the fleet-foot of cavalry was a little intimidating. She'd want to go for the horseman first, to reduce the threats to her position behind the front- wait. What if there's no front line? They'd be at a disadvantage if they were both distance-attackers. Her card might have to come out early, in that case. "So, Rose. Front line or back line?" While not a literal question, she hoped the meaning was understood.

"I'll be front line, I always preferred to be front and center...my shadows can't wait to stretch their fangs" She stated with a smirk as she laced her figures behind her back as she moved forward. She watched the witch looking lady summon her allies as Rose smiled " a horseman and a skeleton...two of my favorite Halloween creatures...though they got nothing on the shadows that allow them to hide on Halloween night" She said crouching down on one knee as she placed her hands on the ground looking at her opponents "how about we give your allies a good feeling of home...Shadow Dome!" She spoke as like paint her shadow expanded the entire ground of the field before the outer edge leaped up forming a dome over the battle. The dome blocked out a lot of the light but still left some for those who weren't accustom to her magic to see. She stood back up as she clapped her hands together " That's a lot better I think, feels more like home to me...and my sister's...Let me introduce you to them...Shadow siblings"The shadow dome assist in kinda assisting Rose's magic as four figures took form beside her as they were solid look a likes of her all having a sort of twisted smile before she watched her opponents reactions as her copies slowly walked forward letting out slight giggles here and there as the real Rose stayed in the back watching the event.

Bellal acted first. fire lashing through the air, as if to banish the shadows. It twirled like a snake, twisting in the air, and shooting towards Rose and Trinity. Blair cackled, almost witch like, and Skellington called a frigid wind, buffeting the two phoenix wing fighters, and the headless horseman charged, waving his flaming sword. Both pirate lord mages stood, watching their attacks.

"Your fire won't banish my shadows only cast more" all the Rose's said at once as the real one folded her arms before sinking into her playground of shadows. She formed silently behind Bellal using a mixture of his shadow and the shadows he casted. "Shadow crush" she said as the shadows solidify around the two enemies before trying to cave in one them as she sunk back into her shadows reforming from trinity's shadow to watch

Bellal moved smoothly, and avoided any attack from Rose, instead, he leaped back, within a circle of light, and encasing himself in flames, preventing his shadow from being seen, or at least changing so much that it was insubstantial.

He then sent flames licking towards all the shadow figures that he could see.

Trinity retaliated against the initial fire attack with a wind arrow at the ground in front of her. Once the arrow stuck the ground, it created an updraft beneath the flames, sending them up and away from the minstrel. As the horseman began to charge them, the bardic archer drew an ice arrow from her quiver, firing for the feet of the mount.

Trinity then pulled three wind arrows back, aiming for the fire mage. "Triple Shot!" As she loosed them, they triplicated, all nine hurtling toward the burning man.

the Shadows Roses faded in and out of the fire mages sight trying to mess with him and the witch along with the summons. two moved around the fire mage taunting him and his fire magic. "Come on, You have to have your magic surround you like a safety blanket...How sad and you can't hit little me? Just give up, save yourself from being embarrassed."Taunted the Clones in unison moving every which way around him.

Rose crouched down on the balls of her feet laying her fist against the ground "Shadow Fist"She whispered as four large fists came from the shadows each one attacking a different opponent. Rose soon stood up after the attack "Man, maybe I should have been born with a different magic cause this use to be fun when I was using my magic to fight everyday."She said jokingly to trinity "But then again I don't want Elyse to want to take after my magic."She added

Bellal didn't react, just began twisting the flames more and more, using Skellington's winds to keep his flames down, surrounding Trinity, and managing to burn the arrows before they reached him.

The headless horsemen continued to charge, the arrow not seeming to, for the moment, bother the horse. Blair cackled, and nodded to Skelington, who smiled, and bowed, before approaching Trinity, unfazed by the flames.

"Tsk." The archer assessing the flames that surrounded her, despite her best efforts to quell them with wind. They did not strike fire, so they burned, instead. Then again, the basic arrows were flimsy. She'd have to attack more seriously if she wanted to get through their defense. But first, she had to do something about being surrounded. The minstrel dove out of the way of the charging horseman, calling, "repeat!" Her last shot primed itself as she pulled the string and she unleashed another flurry of wind arrows, this time aimed at a section of the fires surrounding her, at the base of the flames. The wind unleashed from the arrows would open the way for her to dive out from her first predicament.

"Against skeletons, you should try... bashing, right?" Made sense. Normally, the idea seemed so plain and boring she wouldn't try it, but if she needed to crush them with weight, maybe this was the way to do it. "Stone Arrow!" A very dense arrow with a round tip forms in her hand, made of a very heavy rock. "I always thought this arrow was a little silly..." She aims for the horseman, and looses her weighty projectile.

Angelo smiled as he found them a nice cafe to go to. He got them a seat and ordered a bottle of soda to drink relaxed for a bit until he asked how the guild was really doing. Angelo must be a bad liar or he must have heard about the rumors floating around. guess I can't really pull one over on you. Honestly I'm unsure of where to start. If you don't already know we had to deal with the magic council when they sent us a message I rather not say. We helped put in a new magic council and master Jamie heir us at ease by saying we were doing the right thing and even if we went dark it wouldn't matter. Then their is this whole tournament thing. It seems like no mate what we do we keep getting targeted by someone. Someone even tried to assassinate me after what I did though that may be my fault. Angelo said with a sigh dining more of his soda all in all things could be better but I don't know how it could get much worse Angelo said knocking on their table made of wood. Knocking on wood hoping that things won't get worse for the guild...

He sighed and looked into Sasha's eyes. "I guess this is something you will have to trust me on. It's hard to go against reason and blindly follow something... but there is more to this than meets the eye I'm sure of it." He searched his memories for the information in that book. The curse. "We won't sit here and do nothing. We will act when the time is right, and tell master Jamie too. But now is not that time." He sighed, thinking. "He doesn't know that we know who he is yet. We can use that to our advantage."

Joshua could only smile as Amaya had a slight airhead moment, laughing at the girl.
"You know, you can be the weirdest, yet happiest person I know." He said. When she asked if he would like to see Nolan with her and Lucas, he lost his smile and took a heavy breathe. "Yeah, might as well. I'm sure the guy is angry at me and if he wants to throw a punch or two, do me a favor. Don't get in the way. Simply let him."

"Ah," the Rainbow Majesty replies with a nod, "While Frenzy Plant isn't the most friendly type of guild from my experience, but they do produce some strong magic wielders. You'll do fine there, as long as you follow their guidelines."

She was expecting an answer, but it seemed that Argus was sorta out of it again, so she didn't bother with him too much. She too looked down at the Vision Lacrima, to see the guilds Dragon's Fang and Rider's Blade fighting it out. It was then when Argus would pay attention back to her, resting his head on his elbow as he looked her over somewhat.

"Sayatachi-san, What do you know about the guilds participating in the games at the moment, and the mages currently participating in them?"

"Hmmmm," she thought to herself for a bit, "If you are talking about the guilds currently in battle, then I do know them fairly well. For Dragon Fang, I believe it was formed shortly after Phoenix Wing, like 5 years after them, by the Fire God Slayer known as Jack Goran. It was also one of the first guilds to be accepted by the public. The one in battle is Hunter Jorgenson, Class A wizard, as a Jade Dragon Slayer. Carnaphros was the Jade Dragon that trained him, as well as one who had avoided the wrath of Acnologia himself.

"Rider's Blade however, is a guild that I'm not so familiar with. All I know about it is that it was formed by the Earth Devil Slayer, Fraquar Alinstar. The one in battle is Delsin Jones, Class B wizard, and wields Guns Magic. It is only inevitable that the Jade Dragon Slayer will~"

She then sees the Lacrima bright up a little as it shows the victor going to Dragon Fang itself, with Hunter on top.

"~win." she slowly finishes, and from within the pause, she sees that Phoenix Wing was now going against Pirate Lord.

@hatakekuro
Samir Saron

"I could hardly call that thing a woman. It was a tag battle against Frenzy Plant and my partner was dead weight. He preferred to taunt them while I was fighting a dullahan and an S-Class by myself for the majority of the battle. To be frank if Joshua hadn't stopped me, I would've probably defeated them on my own though they would be dead."

So he basically fought a headless horseman and an S-rank mage all by himself? That was pretty ballsy on his part. Samir felt sorry for him and how he had to fight without a reliable partner by his side. Regardless, she shook a little bit after hearing how he could've killed them if it weren't for an intervention. She was going to pat Nolan's arm and say something, when suddenly Dalton came rushing right past her and into the arms of his partner.

"NOLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAN! I thought ya were deaaaaaaaaaad!

Samir was touched by the Exceed's part, having quite the loyalty and care to his partner, but maybe he was a little too exaggerative on his part. Regardless, all the archer did was simply smile warmly.

"Either way," she simply responds, "I'm glad that you made it out alive and that you didn't kill anybody in the process."

Just then, she hears her name being called from the front counter. It was the ointment that was due for Marlene. Samir thanks the nurse and comes back to say farewell to the two.

"I got to get going now," she says to the two, "I have to bring this ointment to Marl~ er, a friend, due to some sprains she gained yesterday. Hope to talk to you two soon."

And with that, she slowly begins to walk towards the exit.

Wes Gusto| Crocus, Café
@Jangel13
Once they arrived in the café, Wes simply order a glass of water and listened as Angelo told him about the guild. From what he heard, it sounded like things will get worse. There’s no point telling Angelo those thoughts. Things could still prevail in the future if one has a confident mind to see through those things. But hopefully the guild doesn’t become blind from the over confidence. He hoped something like this wouldn’t happen to the guild. He hoped that once he left the guild, nothing else bad would happen. But seems it was already too late. Hopefully Jamie knows what she’s doing, because he’s afraid things won’t end will if the guild continues on the path it’s currently on.

Wes drank his water that arrived, trying to calm himself. Trying to relax, he thought about the games and asked “The Magic Games, I know enough that Phoenix Wing is participating. But besides that, I don’t know too much of what’s going on so far in the Games. How is the guild doing so far against the other teams?”

Monsoon | Crocus, Abandoned Warehouse
@Lunarlors34
Everything Georgie said about Ashlyn was helpful. But now that he has the book, this little mission isn’t his highest priority, but playing along wouldn’t hurt. Once Georgie left and Manami was in her place. Maxie was irritated and Manami was a bit confused, but the situation understandable since they just arrived. “Welcome back Manami and greetings Maxie. Manami, I must thank you for arranging the meeting with Georgie. But now, both of you, your master have a job, one passed to me from your guild members.”

Monsoon held out the photo of Ash to the two wizards and told them about what Georgie and he discussed about, except for how Georgie paid him in advance. Once he finished, he stepped towards Maxie who still seems to have a glowered expression on face. “As Georgie said, you were in charge of hunting Ashlyn. If you intend to find her, it would be in your best interest to tell me the latest information you have on her. Anything would be helpful; especially something she used or wore.” He awaited for Maxie’s response, but from the look in his eyes, he may become a problem that could ruin his good day. He still had other things to do after this meeting was finished.

Grane Falo | Crocus, Underground
@Crimson Raven
After giving the rune knights their orders, Grane finally spoke to Dru and had him follow the Council Member to a secluded part of the city with Shutler still imprisoned in the yarn ball of light. They stopped in front of a building that were filled with rune knights, from how it appeared this might have been a temporary barrack for the knights while the Council Members stood in Crocus for the Games. Inside, Grane and Dru found an empty room to seal Shutler and his prison during the games. He could have sent Shutler somewhere else outside the city that would prove to be a better and permanent prison. But Grane and Dru both had plans in Crocus that they needed to attend to. After the two filled the room with enough bright lights of magic, the two left the barracks.

However, Grane didn’t walk too far when Dru left, but was still in a secluded part of the city. Since he left the area of where the dome battle took place, he could smell a scent that seemed to have followed him since then. He turned around and called out ”Come out stranger! I could smell your scent since I left the battle from earlier. With what happened recently, I’m being generous enough to let you show yourself. If you don’t, then I will find you myself. With that said, Grane prepared himself in case if he was about to be ambushed.

Ferrin Astra

Immediately, Grane was answered. "Good, you noticed me." Ferrin said, his voice echoing. "I was hoping you would." Ferrin dropped the illusion that conealed him from view. He was standing a little more than Grane's arms reach away; far enough to avoid an attack, but close enough to launch his own. "Good evening. My apologies for following you, I wanted a place to talk to you that was little more private." Ferrin said cordially. "You are probably a busy man-er lizard so, I will do us a favor, skip the pleasantries, and get straight to the point." Ferrin smiled. "I noticed you used a particular magic, to repair the aftermath of the battle with the shade. The lost magic, Arc of Time. I wish to know where you came by such a magic, and how much you know about it."

Robin stood up and nodded softly reaching into his pants pocket taking out a wallet and grabbing the money "Yes that's fine, and that's quite a lovely shawl. You sure you want to toss it in for free?" He looked over the shawl and it's nice design. As he took out the jewels to hand to the owner he also handed her a card with his name on it and a way to contact him "Since your being so nice if you ever need clothes made I'll make them for you."
