But how about members though that post regularly pretty fast? Wouldn't they get muted?
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't post 30 posts within 4 minutes.

To be faaaair, I don't think the bots post that many either. But still, I don't see it being a huge human restriction.
Well no but still people could be pretty fast
Trying to reserve the first X posts in OoC or chat-style free roleplay can do it, for instance.
@LadyRunicLet me rephrase:
Can there be a system that will "mute" a user if they make too many posts in a very short period of time.
This way bots who shitspam stuff across multiple boards in under a minute will be targeted but people who bump their 1x1 stuff like once every few days or even few hours should not have much issue.
I was more speaking of reserving the first X posts in your own OoC. Half a dozen posts in about ten seconds is what realistically happens.
Whatever autoban you apply, it's guaranteed that at least one user will have it blow up in their face. (It's not like no one in their right mind would create a RP in the first 24 hours after joining an RP site, right?)
EDIT: Oh dear, that capcha... It's a blurry image less than two centimeters across, how on earth am I to tell whether it's a pool or a blue tennis court? (It was, in fact, not a body of water.)
I'll disable the recaptcha in a bit since it's unnecessary now.
Also, you know, one thing I'm wary of is our legit Korean roleplayers which you can see on the first page of roleplayerguild.com/forums/39-tabletop...
I think it's awesome that we have some non-English roleplays running. I just hope they don't get hurt by the mass spambot cleanup. :(

I'm sure that the system wouldn't flag them as malicious as they're not speed posting either. If it is an automated system, you could set an exemption? Otherwise if its manual, ask the mods to be a little bit wary.
