What's overpowered about it?

Species: Fifth Dimensional Imp

Fifth Dimensional Imps are created to be silly and overpowered, just like Superboy Prime.

Power(s):
Limited Shape-shifting: Bat Mite Jr is able to alter his bodily appearance as well as shift into inanimate objects. Most of his shape changes are household appliances and other mundane items like bats, bowling balls and other casual things.

Bat Bolt: This power allows Bat Mite Jr to fire yellow bolts of energy out of his hands and eyes. The effects of these bolts can be either concussive, electrical or burning damage.

Supersonic flight: Bat Mite Jr is able to fly at a top speed of mach 1.2

fourth wall awareness: Bat Mite Jr is aware that the DC universe is a comic book and that he and other characters are fictional.

He's basically Deadpool, Starfire, and Miss Martian all in one.

Skill(s): Bat Mite Jr has encyclopedic knowledge of the DC universe and his very smart when it comes to forms of energy and magic.

There would be no trying with a character who knows everything about their team and the enemies.

Hes an imp but I never mentioned anywhere that he had godlike powers. Also his fourth wall awareness is for humor purposes and technically wouldn't know the team since this isn't official canon.

Everything in red are things locked and he can't currently do, but if you want me to get rid of them completely I can. They were just abilities I thought he could acquire later in the game since they were based off the powers of the real Superboy from the comics that the Young Justice one is supposed to be modeling.

@Weird Tales I feel like the knowledge of the DC universe is still a bit much mainly because then secrets of characters will be known by him which is a bit unfair plus if the GM says your character is OP then they are OP because what the GM says is word in RPs. They get to decide if a character is OP or too mary-sueish for their RPcause it is their RP

@KittyA good GM would help the player tone down their character to meet the standards of his or her game. Otherwise, why be a GM if you don't: a) care about your writers, or b) want GM responsibility? That's not good leadership. That would make people avoid your games in the future and give you a bad reputation. It is way more productive to just help those players interested in your game tailor their profiles to meet your rules and standards. If a GM doesn't want to do that, then he or she should really just stick to 1x1. It's basic leadership skills.

@Holy Soldier She did offer suggestions and she is busy in rl. Are you trying to say that she is not a good GM? Because if you feel that way then you should not be a part of the RP. She did her part but he has not done his. I don't see what your point in why you are telling me things I already know, they don't pertain to this rp

Frankly Kitty is right there man, if you read wizard's comments from earlier 'He can do everything a kyptonian can do.. and even then, he can do more' a Kyptonian is insanely powerful to start with, especially compared to all the other characters, then your character can do even more than that (even if he doesn't have it yet he would eventually), just makings of an insanely powerful character.

With Tales' it's probably bit of the fact it's a fifth dimensional Imp, even if his portraying it as not being that powerful, it's been shown many times the imps can be so powerful they can break all reality and there for would become to strong, that and his pretty much 3-4 characters in one, and he'll know all inside information about every single character so that to is to much.

She gave feedback on the character, which was basically, "He's OP." That was it. What part of his character is OP? How can he not make his character OP? How can he tailor his character to fit the standard? She said the same thing to me: "OP." I went back through my character and deleted things to tone him down and I asked her if it was good. She then says, "He has basic Superman abilities and then some." Okay, so...how is that feedback? Honestly, I'm not going to be a part of this game because a GM who doesn't have time to even be role playing, who doesn't have time for GM responsibility, and who clearly doesn't care about her writers, that's not someone I would write with period. It doesn't even matter if she was a GM or not. It's just selfish and yes, it is very bad administration. I would not waste my time.

SO why are you doing the GM's job? Why couldn't the GM have simply said: "Despite me making a Young Justice-type game and allowing people to play canon characters from the DC universe, who are only as overpowered as they are in canon, but can easily be toned down to my standard. At this time, I think Superboy would be too overpowered of a role to play. In fact, let me go to my OP and add in there characters that I don't want writers to choose because they are too overpowered for this game." It's just basic etiquette. I don't even know this person and she doesn't even know me, and her first action is to be disrespectful. Or to show us how much she doesn't care. But whatever, you know, I'm not even going to bother with a GM like that.

There is only one person being disrespectful here and it's not wizard, I'm not going to bother saying why because It shouldn't be need from how obvious it is. I even only stated things that are extremely obvious that shouldn't of needed the GM or me to even say. This is a roleplay it is not something that is suppose to take every bit of your time and being. Real life is first priority over Everything else, no matter what, no matter the reason. I'm not even going to bother to mention because there is no point.

So uh wow that happened... hmm how about a change of subject yeah? Are there any fans of the old Animated Justice League series out there? If so do any of you feel like going on a feel trip with me down memory lane?

@Saarebas the old series with the original group of Hawkgirl, Green lantern, Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, Manhunter, Flash, and who ever else there might of been (been so long) that was a good series, watched a lot.. mainly because of Manhunter favorite character sense his green, shapeshift, and have psionic abilities lol. though I would still prefer the original teen titans over it. only because of beastboy, especially when it's his moment in the series to shine brighter than the others.

The Guild is filled with RPs that fail because of distraction of both players an GM but such is our informal setting
None of us are bound by any rules of conduct or play out side of the few the Guild must support controlling content and the rating system of Free, Casual and Advanced.
After that it's up to the GM to set any farther rules.
I for one am annoyed by the recent trend of Advanced ranking in Casual that say "High Casual or Low Advanced" and I steer clear of them but I don't get angry

@olcharlieboi It has always been more Justice League over Teen Titans for me just for the fact that I feel like there stories always went a bit deeper, though Teen Titans did have some pretty great moments of character development(Cyborg is still my favorite). And glad to see another Martian Manhunter fan out there, the dude does not get the love that he seriously deserves.

EDIT: @RumikoOhara Some embrace chaos a bit better than others it seems, but life goes on and RPs shall rise and fall, tis the will of the free section. Also is that the pink haired Yandere of everyone's dream/nightmare?
