A small breeze drifted through Camp Half-Blood as the sun began to rise, ready to lend rays of itself down onto the camp. Aheahe yawned as he rubbed his arm, taking in the sights as the Satyr led him to a large, sky-blue, house in the distance. From the main entrance he could make out fine structures and a lake. What really caught his eye though were the volleyball courts not too far from their destination. No one was there currently though. Matter of fact, not many people seemed to be out in general. If it wasn't for the Satyr saving his life from some sort of monster earlier Aheahe would have thought something shady was going on then booked it back up those hills. But he knew better than to judge the unfamiliar, so he'd given this a chance especially after promising his mother. Aheahe would snap out of his thoughts and come to as they approached The Big House, just as the Satyr male spoke a few words; "This is also the infirmary."

"Well that's...nice?"

"You weren't even listening, were you?"

Aheahe shook his head no. "I totally was."

The Satyr opened his mouth to respond but was interuppted by a calm, yet steely, voice. "I will take it from here, thank you." The Satyr looked up alongside Aheahe at the middle-aged centaur standing on the deck of The Big House. "Well alright." The Satyr spoke before heading off. The centaur on the deck made his way down the stairs to stand in front of Aheahe. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. I imagine it was already explained to you what this place is so I'll skip over the basics. My name is Chiron and I am the activities director of this camp."

"And, uh..." Aheahe couldn't keep his eyes from trailing down Chiron's legs. They quickly shot back to his face, though Chiron didn't seem to mind. "My name is Aheahe! Nice to meet you! Um...What do you mean by activity director? Like that volleyball court over there?" He threw a thumb back towards the courts. "Is that what happens here? God sports? Powers n' all that shit? Because I'm not sure if that's dope or just stupid."

Chiron's lips spread into a smile. "Perhaps a bit of both?" Aheahe shrugged. It was a good point though. "You'll become familiar with this camp in due time, but for now we should get you settled down. I'm sure you'd like to rest after your trip. The last thing you need is a bunch of information shoved down your throat." Truth had it that after the little monster event Aheahe had never been more awake. But he wouldn't deny that he'd like some time alone to think. So without a word he would follow Chiron to the cabins.

The trip to the cabins was quiet. Some would find it peaceful, but to Aheahe it was foriegn. Having worked in an Auto repair shop for the last few years had gotten Aheahe used to things being loud. Silence at this point was borderline dreadful. Passing by the arena had provided some noise, and sparked Aheahe's curosity as to what was happening, but Chiron ushered him forward.

"As you're unclaimed currently you will be placed in Hermes' Cabin. Now I know the cabin is a bit dinky, but you'll be sorted out sooner or later."

Aheahe frowned. It certainly wasn't the worst place he'd have to lay his head. His mind wandered. Why wasn't it better taken care of like the other cabins seemed to be? It ultimately wasn't his problem so he'd drop it. "When will I be claimed? Well...first I should ask what that even means?"

"Claiming is when a god acknowledges you as their offspring. After that, well, you'll be sorted into the cabin for said god. As for when? I can't say."

Aheahe mentally facepalmed. "Right! I didn't think of that because, well...that'd actually be something that makes sense!"

Chiron smiled again. "As I said, you'll become familiar with everything in due time. It'll all begin to make sense soon enough. Now, you go make yourself comfortable. I should be heading back to greet any other newcomers. And who knows? Maybe one will turn out to be a sibling of yours." Chiron would then began walking away. Aheahe looked back, puzzled, before shaking his head and walking inside the cabin.

Upon exiting the praetor's home, Anthony's smile faded, and he looked towards the barracks. I should get this done quickly so I can be ready for when they get here. He started off at a jog, heading towards the barracks to ensure he was fully prepared for the new recruits. He picked up his speed a bit, using a bit of the speed granted to him by his blood to head over.

Julia looked around as the satyr brought her into the camp. He had already explained that he would need to go get more people that would be brought into the camp. She looked towards the satyr as he began to walk back out of the camp. Pretty unceremonious... I guess he could tell I was smart enough to figure out where I should go... She looked around a little bit before frowning slightly, Or... smart enough to ask someone where to go might be more appropriate here. She began to look around as she walked, unable to mask her curiosity and intrigue from showing through every action she did. Wow... I can't believe that Greek mythology was right. Does this mean we'll get to meet Zeus and Poseidon and Hades and... Apollo might be interesting to meet... I wonder which one I'm a child of...

Aileena Murphy

Aileena glanced around herself nervously, softly biting her lip as she pushed her bangs out of her eyes. As she only had one good eye, she had to turn in a full 360-degree circle to see all of her surroundings. Unease and butterflies settled in her stomach, causing her to settle one small hand on her stomach, the other holding Finlo. Her fox had been quiet for most of the journey, looking around and occasionally giving her licks under her chin in an attempt to settle her nerves. Among her fluttering nerves was another feeling, a tingling sensation. After she left that house full of wolves, the tingling feeling had been her sole guide towards her destination. Luckily, she had had enough sense to grab what allowance money she had before leaving from her home which had made her journey a little easier. Not much, but a little.

Sigh.

Home. She closed her eyes briefly as she enjoyed the slight breeze that was ruffling her hair. She couldn't imagine what was going through Aedan's mind. She really wished she could have explained to him where she was going but the wolves had tugged her out of the house before she could. After their parents had died and they moved to America, Aedan had been extremely protective of her. He was worried she wouldn't adjust well to the large cities and bustling life that was San Francisco. And it had been hard, a little bit. It had been hard leaving the home she has always known and moving to a place where everything was different. It had been hard being the new girl from a different country who everyone wanted to gawk at and who everyone wanted to snicker at because of her accent. Thankfully, she was sort of a language geek so the different language didn't bother her. Coming home from work to find an empty apartment and a missing Aileena was going to kill him. She just hoped she would be able to see him again, one day.

She shook her head sharply, clearing the memories from the forefront of her mind and focused on the present. She could feel the tingling sensation becoming stronger as she walked forward and soon she arrived at a dingy door with two scary-looking guys standing sentry on either side. She looked around skeptically. Was this it? She hesitantly approached the two guards and didn't even have a chance to open her mouth before one of them had opened the door and was gesturing her inside. A little spooked at how it looked, Aileena stepped inside and began walking forward. Soon she stepped out into the light, blinking owlishly as her eyes adjusted.

"You must be a new recruit."

Aileena let out a small squeaking noise, nearly jumping out of her skin as she whirled around at the voice spoken right beside her. She stumbled back a few steps and took in another pair of guards standing on either side of the tunnel. They were both smiling at her, eyes glancing down at Finlo. It was then that she realized she was probably squeezing the life out of her fox and set him on the ground where he stood by her obediently. Guard #1 looked at Guard #2 and shrugged away from the wall he had been leaning against.

"Come on, camp is this way." Guard #1 began leading the way towards a compound in the distance as Guard #2 gave her a wave. Aileena frowned slightly and set off after the guy, hoping to get some answers. Finlo trotted by her side, sniffing the air and looking around. Every once in a while he would shoot off to go examine something but he would always come back to her side. As she looked towards the place they were headed, she hoped everything would start making sense.

Skye

Of course Skye had been shocked at learning that her new friend was a satyr. It wasn't everyday one meets a creature from mythology they had learned about in middle school. Already thoroughly excited about that, learning that she was also something out of mythology was dizzying. It didn't take long to adjust, though, and she was soon asking a thousand questions a minute while trying to pack what things she had for 'camp'.

"I have never been to a summer camp! What activities are there? Are there crafts? I love arts and crafts! Wait, you said I was the daughter of a god. Which god? Will I meet him?"

Suffice to say, the satyr was becoming quite irritated.

He had known to look for a powerful demigod, but never expected her to be a homeless teenager living in the streets of Brooklyn. It was a wonder that Skye hadn't been killed by a monster by then. In fact, she seemed absolutely fine with her situation. When she had exclaimed that she needed to pack her things, the satyr had been expecting a sleeping bag of some sort and maybe an extra pair of clothes. However, she pulled him to an alley and began throwing piles of clothes, food, and other essentials into a decent suitcase. Anyone else would have thought she was a spoiled rich girl who decided to 'run away' from home, only to come back the same day in tears.

The ride to the Camp was as uneventful as it gets; they grabbed a public bus and hopped off in the middle of no where. Skye was practically jumping out of her shoes in anticipation, even though all she could see was a hill. The satyr shook his head and smiled, before walking her to the Tree and into Camp. With eyes wide and a smile even wider, Skye followed the satyr closely down the hill and to a large cabin.

As soon as Skye was dropped off at the Cabin, the satyr took off back up the hill, mumbling something about other recruits and schedules. "Uhh. What do I do now?"

Cam

Cam could honestly say that he'd never seen the entrance of a camp quite like this. Not only was it incredibly obscure, but it was also in the middle of the city. How do they fit a whole camp in here? It didn't help that in front of the door was a kid, decked out in ancient armor and carrying a deadly weapon. As soon as Cam approached, they gripped their weapon tighter and stood at attention. Once they saw that he was just a teenager, however, they relaxed and even smiled at him.

"New recruit? You can just head right on in. {Guard #1} is already taking another recruit inside. Run and you can catch up to them. Just follow the path."

Cam shrugged and jogged inside, coming to a sudden halt when he caught a glance at the scenery. Between us and the gathering of buildings similar to a school's dorm sector was a river that fed into a lake in another, bigger area. This one was closer in similarity to an actual town. On a hill near that town sat a grouping of small buildings, styled in the way that an ancient temple would have been. It was a lot to take in, and Cam would have continued gawking if he hadn't spotted the pair he was supposed to meet up with a few yards down the path. "Hey, wait up!" He caught up and followed at the same place, looking at the girl who wasn't wearing armor. So... what's up?"

Amy Nolan

Her mother had actually dropped her off at the side of the hill.

Of course that was after she and her mother had had an hour longer conversation before the car about her father and her uncles who apparently were Greek Gods in their spare time and that was the honest truth.

It was a bit hard to swallow really, but Amy knew when her mother was being serious. She would get this glint in her eyes that said 'I am super serious right now and you better believe me or I will punch you in the face.' Despite the fact that Amy knew that her mother would never hit her, she was smart enough to not test that theory. So she was forced to believe that her father was indeed one of the almight Greek Gods, though her mother had refrained from telling which one. Something about that her father would tell her in due time and it was not to her mother to disclose this information.

"But why do I need to go to camp?" Amy had sort of whined. The idea of summer camp was pretty exciting to be honest, but that was more if you had the choice yourself. When your mother was telling it was automatically less cool.

Her mother had explained once again that her uncles thought that it would be good for her now that she was coming off age. Amy had huffed at that. She was fifteen. She was not coming of age yet. But she had agreed anyway. It was cool to attend a summar camp. Cool kids did that right? And apparently there would be all these kids that were descendants from gods so that was kind of cool.

So she had finally kissed her mother goodbye and had watched as she had stepped back into the car. And she actually drove away. Somehow Amy had still thought that this might perhaps been a joke. Clearly it wasn't. So she trudged up the hill, her back on her shoulder. Her mother could apparently not approach the camp. It had something to do with the protection that lay over the camp. Maybe they had a really good alarm system in place that detected demi-gods as good and other people as bad? Amy would like to see what that looked like.

Turned out the secrurity guy was someone with a massive amount of eyes. Amy recalled a story about Argus, but it wasn't much. He had never seem that interesting to her, but after actuallyl physically meeting him face to face she definitely changed her mind.

Eventually with the help of people that were definitely satyrs and not normal people she found her way to one of the cabins. Clearly they knew that she was coming, or at least they didn't find it strange that a new face suddenly showed up. Amy couldn't help looking around eagerly at all the people. What gods would these children be descendant off?

The cabin before her was large and there was another girl standing outside, looking equaly confused. Her guide left after mere seconds and now Amy was standing next to the confused girl. She opened her mouth, but remained silent for a second. "Eh.. so you are a demi-god too?" she asked then which was definitely the stupidest opening line ever to be honest. Of course she was, why else would she be there? But the words were already said. "Do you know what god you are descendant of?"

Not even 24 hours ago Brink’s overalls were dappled in every color under the sun. Their choppy hair could be used as one of the many paint brushes littering the ground. Painting the school mural for retiring teachers had been such a mess. A fun kind of mess. The kind of mess you get into with your friends and there’s no way you’d back out of the mess. Yesterday the ‘mess’ had ran five hours later than planned. Which was fine because Brink wasn’t planning to do homework anyways. That’s what the time in study hall was for. Homework for Brinktin was never their first priority. There’s too many perspectives to look from! That’s more important than dragging through something you rather burn than actually do.

Just as Brink started heading home the supernatural came to be their escort. A pack of wolves had gathered around Brink and communicated with the kid verbally. For the first few seconds shock had Brinktin tied in place. Then the usual sense of adventure cut all the logical ties and enthusiasm took over. Later on Brink lead on a short journey to a wolf house shrouded by the woods. A wolf named Lupa waited for them with some eccentric news.

After the enchanting and magical encounter Brink was sent off to Camp Jupiter where they’d start on an entirely unexpected path. Who knew being late could cause your entire life to spiral into the unknown?

Brink sprinted through the Oakland Hills. It’s been awhile since she’s been in this area by themselves. It brought back bitter-sweet memories filled with grief and determination. The bench surrounded by trees and blueberry bushes is the bench where Brink decided to make something out of the sadness from their grandmother’s passing. Brink beamed as they ran down the hill following the bench. The highway was in sight now! A new life is just a little while away and there’s nothing that will stop them from taking part in whatever is in store. As far as Brisk new their family had an idea of where they were. They wouldn’t have to worry about sounding like a Lunatic upon returning to his home in Vallejo. Beverly must be whining about Brink not being there to show her their sketchbook. Unexpected events such as the wolves are the reasons Brink doesn’t promise anything.

A cool burst of air violently whipped Brink’s hair to the right. Appreciation for their latest haircut only increased. Long hair would be flying into their eyes from the rough wind coming off the bay. Confidence shined from Brink’s expression. Their smile wouldn’t and couldn’t be wiped off by the butterflies fluttering about in their stomach. The tunnel that’d been set just beyond Brinktin’s sight was now visible. Crossing the boulevard might be a challenge but not troublesome! The bottom of their sneakers skidded against the concrete as they came to a stop and faced the road. Goodness California people really can’t drive. Brink ran across the boulevard and a car came swerving out of nowhere.

The dawning light of day dimmed once more as Brink stepped into the tunnel. They walked slowly listening for a pin drop, some voices or even the wolves that’d brought the news of this place. The smile slowly fell as their jaw dropped to cast awe into an expression. The light at the end of the tunnel became brighter and brighter. Brink started sprinting towards the end of the tunnel, shedding the light hoodie they were over their waste and tying it around their waist.

Brink reached the end of the tunnel to be greeted by rushing water. Along with the dropping of their jaw their eyes widened. A strong river rushed between Brinktin and their destination. How were they going to get across this? Brink furrowed his eyebrows and started thinking about ways to solve this. The light of the AM dappled through the leaves of trees. Wait, how deep is the river? Brink could just swim across it. They advanced right to the edge of the river, rolled up the pink sleeves underneath the overalls and then rolled up the pant legs of the overalls. Fortunately before Brink went in the water they realized they could just walk through it. Brink took off their sneakers and stepped heel first into the muddy bottom of the shallow river.

Once he reached the other side of the river, Brink tossed his shoes onto the river bank and hauled the rest of their body. That was fun! They shook their feet dry and shuffled into their shoes. In order to keep their hoody dry, Brink had tied it around their neck like a cape. Brink’s smile stretched into a grin as the gates came into view. They quickly untied their jacket from around their neck and wrapped it around their waist once more.

Brink’s hair flew back as they sprinted toward the gates, slowing when they came face to face with the guards. Brink straightened up and looked up to show off their smile. Just as they were about to introduce them self, the guards exchanged glances. “You must be a new recruit. Right through here.” Brink waved and continued to smile at them but with more gratitude than casualness.

Behind the gates, Brink exhaled only for the breath to stay out of his lungs. From what she could see this place was beautiful. This place was Camp Jupiter. On the inside of the gates there was another set of guards. They gave a genuine welcoming look and lead Brink off to military encampment. There Brink caught up with the others.

Skye

Skye had just been standing there with a confused expression on her face, prepared for the worst and hoping for the best. The worst was that she'd be stuck there all night while the best was that she'd be treated to a full banquet with rock music and dancing. Yeah, it was unlikely, but she could dream couldn't she? Someone better get here soon, or I'll lose it. Of course, 'losing it' to Skye meant getting slightly more frustrated than before, and maybe kicking a sign down.

To pass the time, Skye took a look around camp. Many things caught her eye, especially an enormous rock climbing wall that seemed to have... lava and boulders as obstacles. That seemed a bit dangerous. A lake sat almost directly in the center of the camp with some campers canoeing across it. The thing that most caught her eye, however, was the strawberry field across the river from where she was standing. Rows and rows of greenery and dirt seemed to stretch on for miles. There was a scattering of kids wandering through the lines, bending down occasionally to inspect or pick one of the delectable treats. Strawberries were her favorite fruit by far and often reminded her of working with her mother in the shop. Her fondest memories were of the days spent eating juicy strawberries and drinking lemonade at the park, on the rare occasion that her mother was happy.

At that moment, a girl spoke, jerking her out of her daydream about strawberries and causing her to jump. "Sorry, you startled me." She took a deep breath and smiled, trying to act as friendly as possible. "I honestly have no idea. Oh, I'm Skye! Nice to meet you! Do you know who your parent is? Have you met any mythical creatures? Were you brought by a satyr like me or did you come some other way? I hope that we'll like it here. Who knows, maybe we'll have the same parent! That would be cool; we could sleep near each other and talk about everything! I'm excited to see what kind of activities we'll do here!"

A huge grin covered Skye's face as she rambled, giving away her excitement and joy at being at the camp. Maybe it would be somewhere she actually belonged.

@fieryfly
Cam

Cam had been waiting for a reply when someone new joined their happy gathering. He probably arrived less than a minute after Cam, though the latter hadn't seen or heard the former while travelling. After the new kid finally caught up with the group, Cam smiled warmly and held out a hand. "Hey, Newbie. Not that I'm one to talk. Anyway, I'm Cam," he said, holding his hand out for a nice welcoming handshake. "This is New Girl #1 who arrived here before me." He gestured to the girl without armor, who hand't gotten the chance to reply to his inquiry about her name.

"I wonder if so many kids arrive at the same time every time they get new recruits? Because here comes someone else." Cam glanced up the way they came and saw another kid heading their way. "Hey, it's another girl," Cam remarked, jostling the first girl he met. When New Girl #2 arrived, he spread his arms out like a tour guide demonstrating the grounds of an estate. "Welcome to the family, New Girl #2! The name's Cam, this," he gestured to the first girl, "is New Girl #1 - she was here first. Then, I came and caught up to her. Pretty soon, we were joined by," he brought his hand to the other guy, "New Guy #2. So, what's your name, so I don't have to keep adding numbers to people. I'm not that great at math."

After he was finished with basic introductions, Cam turned back toward the camp and added, "I'm getting really eager over here, so let's walk and talk some." He promptly followed {Guard #1} and beckoned the others to do the same.

The True God of Camp Jupiter

Ariel watched as, in the distance, a group of people led by a guard began approaching the compound. Must be the new recruits. Ariel look down and frowned at his outfit. The one that he's changed about a thousand times already. Okay, last change! Something simple! Ariel snapped his fingers, changing his attire entirely. Now wearing a purple and black tuxedo with diamonds dazzled across the collars and cuffs. There was a light amount of make-up on his face to emphasize his best features, which was everything, but he'd keep it simple for now with just his cheekbones. As the group approached he placed his hands on his hips and gave his best smile, his perfect teeth literally shining alongside the sun. The entire group would suddenly feel drawn to Ariel as he spread his arms outwards, letting his Venus powers come into play so he could gather their attention. Not that he needed it though considering it was him, but he figured he shouldn't play around. "Welcome to Camp Jupiter everyone!" Ariel winked. "The praetor should be out shortly to greet you all but until then feel free to ask me any questions that you may have."

The Shocking Ruby Gaze

Anthony lifted the helmet, placing it atop his head. He pulled the cape up slightly to look at it for a second. I'll never get used to having a cape... Especially not when I want to run full speed, but oh well. He smiled for a moment before heading out. He briefly felt like a hero with the armor and everything.

Anthony glanced at the golden eagle, seeing the ruby eyes for but a moment before he looked back to the legionnaires that were already there. He let his gaze wander over the majority of them before he spoke up. "Madam Praetor should be here soon, but before that, we'll be sure we're in the proper formation. Of course, I'm sure you all are, as I'll soon be confirming." He wasn't fond of taking a more serious tone, but when it had to be done, it had to be done. He began to walk about the ranks, studying each person more carefully.

"If you see a new recruit out of place, Tell them what they're doing wrong. Some may make mistakes, and rather than let them keep those mistakes with them, we'll have them ironed out by tonight so that when it comes time to learn to protect each other, we will all be learning the same thing, and protecting equally." He stood in front of the legionnaires, looking about at them once more. Isabella wanted the new recruits to be in some 'pretty formations' if I remember correctly. Let's see how many we can get perfected today...

Blake shook the boy's hand, nodding. "Nice to meet you Cam." He was surprised to find that there were so many new kids arriving just as he was. He had figured that he would be the only one. Maybe that's how it always was, with campers arriving in groups? That was something he could always figure out later. Meanwhile, hearing Cam refer to them all using numbers was very amusing, and Blake smiled. As everyone started to follow the guard into camp, he introduced himself to the others with a grin. "I'm Blake. Blake Creed." By the sound of his voice, you would almost think that you were meeting him at the mall, or at a party, or in any normal, non-supernatural situation. He was relaxed, having already accepted that this was all actually happening and not questioning it.

He had dressed quite plainly for his journey to camp, wearing sneakers and a dark pair of jeans, along with a simple black jacket over an army green t-shirt. It seemed pretty shabby compared to the armor-clad guards that were standing around, although it didn't really bother him. After a moment of introductions, he turned to see someone greeting their small group, dressed in an interesting yet dapper alternative to the guards' armor. Hearing the words "Camp Jupiter" gave Blake a feeling of satisfaction. He had finally made it.

Brink became slightly more serious and attentive as the other’s came into view. Are these the people they’d be spending most of their time with? If so it’s time to make friends. A boy who was much larger than Brink introduced himself. This guy has a light hearted feel to him. Sweet! The more open-minded your comrades are the easier it is to get work done. The corners of Brink’s mouth turned upwards once more. Today seemed like a good day. “Nice to meet you Cam! I’m Brink. What a family!” A soft laugh tumbled out as Brink spoke. Brinktin wasn’t sure if they should address they’re gender fluid. Eh- there’d be a better time to bring it up. It’s not really necessary information.

What stuck out most about New Girl #1 is her spicy red hair. It’s almost as long as she is. Brink smiled that’s not even an exaggeration. They wondered how many years she’s got on him if any. “Hi~ I’m Brink. “ Even though she probably heard them when they introduced them self to Cam it wasn’t wrong to say so again. They still needed a name to call her. Brink decided to brainstorm possibilities of what her name was while they all interacted. Maybe she’s a Samantha or Ariana. Probably something rarer and more mysterious.

Her shoes had picked up a lot of the grass weakened by morning dew. The cartoon versions of Brink and the rest of their friends now had green stains crossing their sharpie outlines. They further dirtied their sneakers by spinning on their heel to the new coming guy. The four of them standing together reminded Brink of the Three Little Bears. New Girl #1 was a good deal smaller than Brink. Cam was fairly taller than him but New Guy is about the same in height and build compared to Brink. “Hello to you as well Blake! I’m Brink.” Blake seemed laid back as well he wasn’t scared, nervous or even overly enthusiastic about being brought to this camp after a visit from a bunch of wolfs. Brink gave a little wave and brought out his hand for a handshake while walking after the guard and the tallest boy. They cocked their head to the side and continued to smile. “Well what would you like to talk about?”

As they walked on a bit, they were welcomed by a rather flashy presence. Brink's jaw hit the floor faster than Jlo ever could. Wow~. Someone that visually pleasing should be the poster child for everything. Where was the suit made? Could they get in touch with the designers? Brink would like to conduct a few color studies with them. Brinktin's love for art was boundless. Their specialty wasn't in makeup but they strongly admired the work. One of Brink's long-term goals was to master as many art forms as possible. Looks like make-up and color studies were bumped up on the list.

Admiration aside, Brink looked forward to meeting the praetor. A true leader. Seeing the praetor would probably sky rocket the already boiling creative inspiration Brink had going on. They're quite familiar with Governments from past civilizations. Lessons from Cultural Literacy could come in handy sometimes.

The person who was ultimate eye candy said they all could ask any questions. Brink raised their hand above their brown mop of hair. Raising hands is respectful.

Amy Nolan

"Oh I didn't mean to startle you," Amy said quickly as the other girl whipped around seemingly shaken out of her reverie by Amy's words. And Amy couldn't blame her. This place was weird and demanded all your attention. I mean there were satyrs running around left and right and Amy was quite sure she had seen people emerge from trees. It wasn't really exactly normal.

"Amy," she replied when the girl told her her name. Skye. That was a cool name. "And no I have no idea who my dad is. My mom was all weird and didn't want to tell me." She pushed some of her short brown hair out of her face as an annoyed expression passed over it. Really what was up with that. First telling her that her father was apparently super cool and awesome because gods were pretty cool and awesome in general and then just not telling who he was. "She brought me here, my mom that is. Dropped my off saying that it would be good for me to attend summer camp here. You hung out with a satyr? What was that like?" she asked, annoyance forgotten again by the prospect of all these new beings she had yet to meet. Really there was this mix of confusion and excitement in her head that was battling for who got the upper hand. Everything was really cool here, but at the same time everything was also new and strange and intimidating.

However when Skye mentioned that they might be siblings Amy's complexion darkened. She had realized that gods had more children and that it would make sense to run into someone with the same godly heritage, but she didn't want another sibling. She still missed her older brother and the idea of a new sibling who might replace him wasn't one she liked. "Yeah, maybe," she said trying to remain enthousiastic. "Let's first hope that anyone is going to come over and tell us what the hell exactly is going on because I don't really feel like waiting here forever."

Aileena Murphy

As Guard #1 was taller than her, Aileena had a little bit of a struggle keeping up with his longer stride but once he seemed to notice she was lagging behind, he slowed his pace to allow her to catch up. It also allowed a second newcomer to catch up with them, Aileena turning to look behind her as a voice called out. It was a tall boy who looked to be around her age, with light brown hair and blue eyes. So he must be here for the same reason she was and she wondered if he could give her the answers she seeks. However, before she could open her mouth to ask, he interrupted her as he caught up to them and began walking at the same pace.

"So what's up?"

Brow slightly furrowed, Aileena tipped her head back and glanced at the sky. She looked around for a few seconds before it dawned on her that that was the American's version of "How are you?". Cheeks coloring pink, Aileena dropped her head and scrambled around in her head for an answer after just making a fool of herself in front of who hopefully could be her first friend at this camp. However, she was once again thwarted from speaking at the arrival of two more newcomers like themselves. One was another tall boy (to Aileena anyway) and the other was a girl...boy...? Aileena really couldn't tell and would wait until the person confirmed their gender before Aileena said anything; no need to rude after all. In the mean time, Aileena would refer to the person as them inside her head until she at least learned their name. Introductions were once again made, the boy identifying himself as Cam taking the lead. Though Aileena was rather amused at being referred to as "New Girl #1". Soon she learned that the tall boy was named Blake and the other person was named Brink. Finally able to properly introduce herself, Aileena gave them all a smile as she brushed some bright red hair behind her ear.

"I'm Aileena Murphy. You can call me Ena if you so chose. And this is Finlo."

She said, gesturing at the fox standing obediently by her.The girl's Irish accent wasnt terribly prominent but it was still able to be heard and would only become more pronounced should she grow angered or annoyed. At Cam's suggestion they walk and talk, Aileena fell in step beside them as they continued their journey towards the camp. Upon arriving, Aileena suddenly felt the need to look to her left and saw a handsomely-dressed man standing there, who spread his arms in welcome as soon as he had their interest. He mentioned someone called a...praetor..? Whatever that was, would be arriving shortly and in the meantime he would answer any questions they had. Finally! Some answers! However, Brink raised their hand first and so Aileena waited respectfully until the other had their question asked and answered. She glanced down at Fin and patted her thigh with two fingers, their signal for him to sit down and not make a sound. He did so, heading looking around ever so often at their surroundings.

A collab between LetterA and The GM Overlord (Jason)
A New Haven

Summary: Isa decides to run from the infirmary, deciding that this camp was looney-bin. Aiden runs into the boy and talks him into staying at camp, not wanting to see another Demigod hurt when he could protect them.

Yet Another Tour...

Players involved: @Arcalept, @Fieryfly

Stretching after dropping off Isa with Rachel, Aiden let out a soft sigh before turning to face the hill. Noticing the two figures who were still standing around on the hill. Figuring that they'd probably be a bit annoyed if they were left just standing around on the top of the hill, the boy started walking over towards the two with both hands shoved into his pockets. Looking up towards the sky, he noticed that a large cloud formation seemed to be creeping in towards the camp. Looks like there would be snow soon afterall, which was something the boy certainly hoped would happen. Being locked up in small building for most of your young life deprived of experiencing the small things, such as snow. Things that Aiden wanted to hold dear for the rest of his life.

Arriving at the top of the hill, the boy offered a kind smile and wave to the girls standing there. Approaching them slowly, so as to let them finish any conversation they might have going. The would then offer them a casual greeting as he approached, "Hello, you two new as well?" He said in a polite tone, before seeming to remember something and growing temporarily annoyed with himself. "Where are my manners, I apologize, I'm Aiden Debacker. If you two are in fact new, I can show you around camp and stuff if you so desire." He said, his Londoner accent showing as he spoke.

As he waited for the two to respond, he briefly thought about today. He'd spent it meeting quite a few new campers, and was beginning to wonder if he was becoming a sort of unofficial tour guide for the camp. Gods, he hoped that was not the case. Otherwise Chiron would likely take notice and ask Aiden if he wanted to do just that for most new campers. While the boy didn't particularly mind new people and knew that Chiron would have once the best intentions in making such a request... it would be a bit of a hassle. Certainly not something that Son of Kronos wanted, as he would still like to have some time to train and grow stronger in the day.
