One hundred thirty seven years is a long time to live and still be just a kid. Time really means nothing to her anymore, and she's forgotten most of her past. Sure she's had a mother and father once, maybe even a couple of siblings. But as time went forward, she essentially did not. She outlived all her family and friends, her real name forgotten a long time ago. She's learned to just live from day to day, doing as she pleases as nothing was really much of a consequence for her, not that she went out of the way to abuse her free time.

Personality:

Kana is quite lazy. Always in the 'do it tomorrow' type mood. She didn't care what day it was or any 'obligations' others put on her. If she was hungry, she ate. If she was tired, she slept. Though her people skills were a bit weary. She could go on being acquaintances with just about anyone, but not much longer than a year or two as they'd for sure notice her youth. She didn't care if it was accepted by anyone, to her it was unnatural and unfair. She preferring to live out in the woods than to live with the population and bring notice to her condition. Which honestly sucked. She loves love, and people have many times captured her hearts at near first glance alone. Being with people is probably the greatest joy she knows as of now.

Tome:

Her tome has been embedded within her, appearing as runes engraved into her legs. All she really has to do to activate it, is speak it and the corresponding runes will begin to glow a soft aquamarine. However each word can only be spoken twice per day, resetting itself at midnight each night.

Her tome power is that dealing with time, or mainly how time affects the objects her and the world around her. There are six words of power associated with her tome, each yielding a different result. Targets must be in touch when the ability is activated or otherwise nullified.

• Eins
  For the next 5 minutes, target is caught in a stasis field, denying any change to, from, or within.
• Zwei
  Fast forward the age of a target non-living object, weakening it's structural bonds.
• Drei
  Rewind the position of the world back 10 minutes, keeping in affect all current statuses.
• Vier
  Slow the world around her, momentarily giving her super speed and reflexes.
• Fünf
  Can know the past of any target object or person.
• Sechs
  Can Change the physical appearance of any target person to that of any age.

Other:

Fun quirks here and there when dealing with people. Nothing set in stone and hardly ever the same thing twice. Looks to have fun where she can.

Hmm. Time is a tricky business. Is time what keeps her looking young? Also, you might have to get rid of one or two of those abilities. Wait for what KoL has to say.

I wrote down my opinions on the time powers, but I'm not a GM, so this entirely side commentary.

Oh, those are some good suggestions. Thanks for the criticism. I actually just got tired. this was like my 4th or 5th tome power to go through. I originally had 12 because of the twelve numbers on a clock, but i didn't want to be totally overpowered. So i sorta just deleted and let be.

Zewi - right. mainly used, say, against locks and doors and food. Anything that would decay naturally via time.

Vier - yup, though it isn't constant, only for a reaction or like halve a post.

Fünf - i'm fine with just the important bits, but define important. It is just a Retrocognition, opposite of precognition, that i was going for.

Eins - Yeah, youre right about that i guess. Sorta was looking for an offensive power, but i could easily just swap it out.

Sechs is mainly just appearance. I mean its only 5 years a shot, and technically speaking people cant die of old age. its something thats wrong with them that kills them.

Drei - i actually kinda like yours better, and thought about, but i've had DM/GM say that your idea was the more broken one; completely restoring one's state.

What if for Eins instead of holding a single target, you create a sort of dome that encloses you and a target in a sort of time stasis. Everything inside would move in real time while to those outside it would seem to happen in an instant.
Combine that with Vier and you've essentially trapped your opponent in a one on one with a super fast attacker.

I kinda wanna make a gun-mage, but I imagine that would be too OP against some people and completely UP against others.

Oh my God... and not the good kind of oh my God. Well I mean kinda is, but not like... Oh you know what I mean dammit!

Also I know I'm kinda new so my standing and opinion probably won't be taken into too much consideration, but on the topic of time... I'm honestly ok with most of the powers. We constantly think to teh worst of the worst that each power can do but really think about it. If my character could teleport I could just grab an enemy teleport a mile into teh sky knock them away and teleport safely to the ground as I watch them turn into a red smear on the ground. Or teleport into the middle of a deep sea abyss and teleport out letting them drown. And teleportaion is a MOBILITY power, yet it can have hundreds of ways to insta-gib a person.

My only say so is that Eins is a literal death sentence. The time for the effect is way to long. Like Gecko said most battles last mere seconds and to drop a person like that would be vicious.

Similarly, Drei I have the same issue as Gecko though maybe a little less for it... If you can rewind the whole world back 10 minutes that's an incredible power. If there is a twist or specific event she could rewind time for the whole world and either stop it or cause it. Though I like the idea of time reversal, I don't like how it just takes everything back just 'cause. Though if it's more targeted... Perhaps she lays hands on somebody and rewind them back 10 minutes in time. Having that temporal healing and ability to have a sort of future sense without literally making us repeat parts of the RP time and time again.

Last bit to talk about is Funf. Again this is an idea I like but see it being terrifying without knowing more. Does she just touch somebody and see their whole life? Or is it like a vision where she sees their past but it's vague, foggy, and mixed up like a vision for the future.

Beyond that I like all the other powers with what you've given and made on clarifications.

Well, first, I have to say that she isn't so very old from an IC view point, people who have tomes (pretty much everyone) age slower than RL humans anyway. And elves are down right immortal, but you won't be seeing a true elf so soon unless people realize Linea's and Sienna's family tree. About twice as slow, though they only start to go slower after a certain age is reached (generally around the early 20's), probably a lot of the people she knew are still alive, old like an 80/90 years old person, but alive. The only weird thing is her looks, if you want a background like that she would have to be at least 300 years old or so.

Now, for the core of the issue that seems to be her powers, let me say what I think. Zwei, Sechs and Vier are good the way they are, but the other three all have issues with power.

- Eins: It lasts for too long, maybe around a minute, or 30 seconds? All you need to milk the most of it is creativity.

- Drei: I don't think that this is the kind of power that should be at a player's hand, without really heavy regulation, it can screw the whole RP. Another way of portraying this effect should be possible, or maybe you have to scrap this power. Time travel, even if it's to a minute back/forward in time, is an OP thing.

- Fünf: Another power that can ruin the RP, but this one can also be good, if a few changes are made. First, there must be a limit of how far back she can get info of things, otherwise a touch on someone as old as Yggdrasil would fry her brain with info. 24 hours, at the most, a week should be good enough for any relevant place where it can be of use. Second, the information she gathers should be both subjected to GM's will and somehow enigmatic in nature, this makes it a plot device power that can create interesting scenarios, instead of a solve one solve all mysteries in the world power, because you could just have her touch the ground the way it's written and know everything that happened in the world since it was created. Third this power can be activated without conscious effort of her, if the story would benefit from it.

Other than this she's good.
