@LokiLeo789 Hey Loki, real quick is there any explanation for being able to sense that Sovereign was as strong as he is. Normally it would be okay to get the feeling someone would be tough to take down but you're being oddly specific on his strength. Stronger than yourself is cool but stronger than everyone there is kinda like metagaming.

Its Observation Haki that gives people the ability to judge how strong someone is in the One Piece universe. Other than that its kinda like the real world, looking at someone who you can only speculate to be stronger than you.

Try to be careful of this. I know it small but it can end up turning into something annoying for picky players.

That is unless you have a good reason. In that case I'm all ears.

@Renny
I didn't know that was metagaming, I looked at it as if he was Lebron James, and I was supposed to play against him. His sheer physical presence makes you wonder if this guy ran into me how many bones would crack. For a non NBA player competing against Lebron James (assuming he is fully engaged and not treating it like a charity case) would be about as difficult as swimming in the middle of the ocean with 100lb weights tied to each leg. His presence was just large enough that in hindsight, his power level seemed to trump him, and knowing that Jackal and Melany are weaker than him, added onto that.

I could change it if you like, but by no means did I mean to metagame.

@LokiLeo789 I figured you didn't mean too. It simply seemed that way when reading that small part in your post.

Try to change just that small mention so that it clearly seems opinion-made and not like a statement of fact. lol.

Its all good.

@Renny @Ira
So, I was mulling this over and I was wondering what your thoughts on it were.
Is there a chance that the RP could re-open in the future? Presumably after we're a decent ways into the story where we have current cast relationships (rivalries, alliances, etc.) all sorted out. Part of the fun of One Piece (at least for me) is seeing new colorful people pop up over the course of the adventure. It'd give the crews a chance to fill out their rosters and add some new perspectives at the very least. And it'd make it so Bellamy won't almost be forced to join a crew if he wants to have consistent player-to-player interaction. Plus, it'd make it so you guys don't have to stretch yourselves too thin with NPCs.
I could see it being a GM headache, though, so I'd understand if there were no plans for that happening. Just figured I'd offer my thoughts.

@RyoRyoRyoken here's my two cents, its two pennies (HAHAHA i'm so wacky.) but for real, I like the sound of that, as we progress we could expand the roster of allowed people (slowly), I think that's a good idea, but then again i'm not a Gm at all so uh, What do I know?

@RyoRyoRyoken I'll have to discuss this with Ira but I like the idea of it. It seems like a good plan of action.

I figured we'd cross that bridge when the time came. But its good to see that our members have similar mindsets as us.

@LokiLeo789 actually when I use life return to slim down, I lose a ton of durability, its a trade-off. (and Anaru happens to be pretty BAD at life return, so he can only do it so many times.)

Good to hear that I wasn't just spewing crazy talk.

On a separate note, looks like we've got a pretty interesting battle going on. Anaru's moveset kinda makes me think of Toriko, so I can dig it.

@RyoRyoRyoken oh wow, I LOVE Toriko, and I didn't even draw that comparison, I can totally see it now, though.

I think it's mostly just how well Life Return fits into the Torikoverse and a combination of Anaru being a beast of a man. Plus, "Nails".

I just wanna say right now, before anybody misunderstandings, 'nail gun' cannot be used as a geppo substitute, its just for redirecting where he falls. (wanted to clear that up, just in case.)

Also, yeah @RyoRyoRyoken now that I think about it, its very Toriko-y, well I see that as a pretty good thing, it gives Anaru the over the top-ness I wanted him to have, he isn't supposed to be taken too seriously. (Also, I really like Toriko, so i'd consider it a good thing regardless, hah.)

I'm actually curious about a certain aspect of Life Return, since we're discussing it. According to one of its canonical users, Kumadori, it's based off of, or otherwise related in some sense to, the concept of the Sennin, which is essentially the Japanese word for immortal in many contexts, e.g. Ikkaku Sennin (一角仙人 "One-horned Immortal"), though the ability itself is more like a highly advanced form of biofeedback, as stated in the OP wiki. That being said, is it actually possible for a user of Life Return to becoming completely unaging and thus biologically immortal, say by reversing the telomere shortening of their cells and delaying senescence? The concept's been digging at me since I learned Life Return existed, and it doesn't look like the topic of whether or not users actually age if they don't want to has ever been discussed.

@BCTheEntity that's actually a really interesting question, i'd say a life return MASTER might be able to slow down the aging process, but I think that halting it all together would be just about the hardest thing possible, either way I really like life return, and all its potential. which is why I gave Anaru small amounts of life return, so I could build upon that, without giving myself too many powers at the start.

Another disclaimer about my recent post, Anaru's brain was going a mile a minute, that's why the time it took for the explosion to happen seems so long. (I should probably just explain it better in my post, then disclaimers won't be necessary..)
