I keep up on the OOC because 1) I like to know what people are talking about 2) I talk a lot and ask a lot of questions 3) There is a fair amount of useful information as well.

@Sep I just realised I made a very silly miscalculation that I seriously hadn't thought of before now: I'll be going on vacation next week. It'll only be for a week, but witht the speed we're going at that'll be at least three planets. I know it's not exactly backpacking through Australia, but my wife would be very upset with me if I try to do this kind of thing on our holiday.

Is it ok if I accidentally freeze myself in a cryochamber or something like that near the end of the week? I really like this character and I really like this RP so I'd like to keep going after I get back (and I'm not gone yet), but I can understand if you think it's too big of a gap.

@obisemkenobi If you don't get him involved in say, super important plot, you can just have him slip in the background for a week?

Or maybe he finds some alien artifact in the library that suddenly grabs his head and implants something in his brain that takes over his conciensness and wrecks havoc on the ship using Nick's body, or maybe just give secret information to the enemy or something like that and when I get back I can write a colab with whoever was controlling him of how he fights it off with his sheer power of will while Jameson is cutting into his skull with that scary smile on his face and we'll all just have to wait and see who we can trust, but then it turns out that the Admiral has been infected too and and... ok, maybe I have watched too much Stargate when I was little.

@FrozenEcstasy I am sorry to see you go, it will slow down (of that I'm sure, especially as I won't be as active). I am also sorry the Universe seems to be against you, I hope you return in future. I mean you do not have to keep up to date with the OOC, anything important you can always ask me or I'll tag you in.

I want to make this clear, while I love this pace (I really do) I personally won't be able to keep it up, IC wise. I know other people won't either, don't let this discourage you. Tomorrow I head up to Glasgow and will be unavailable for most the day, on Thursday I fly to the states so will be unavailable almost all day. When I get there I have no idea what my internet access is going to be like, but I will keep this going.

If it does slow I hope you will all stick with it, as I love you all you're a great group and I will continue to move things forward with new and fun exciting plots (my notepad of ideas is going with me). Thankyou, this has been a public Sep announcement.

Personally I'm using all my energy right now to keep up with the OOC because I know it will slow down in the future and I am very excited for it to do so but also I like to keep tabs on what other people are thinking because in my experience, a well-established OOC community makes for a very healthy RPG.
