Gren

Location: Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk
Activity: Getting ready to go

Finally, Karaha arrived. And with a stableye too! Gren didn't know the stableye, but he introduced himself as Letho. However Letho also mentioned something about a... Gardevoir? Gren was pretty sure that Karaha also spoke about a gardevior. But Gren wasn't concerned: the trunk was huge, and the chances of that Gardevior finding them was small. More so if they moved quickly and tried not to attract too much attention. Gren didn't want to fight any more than the others did. "Everyone here? Let's go." Finding his spirit again, Gren pumped himself up for the adventure ahead. It will be dangerous and scary, but Gren knew this when he first asked. He took a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves, relax himself. Admittedly he was impatient at first since it looked like they were ready, but now with a team of five they should have no problems in the Trunk. Even if that gardevior shows up, there's no way she could take on all five of them at once.

Mirfah and Lance

Town: Folio Town
Location: Near the Hidden Grotto

@Light Lord@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo

"N-No, no, I'm fine! This... isn't the first time that I stumble into someone or soemthing while flying." Mirfah spoke, a little embarassed about the fact that he isn't able to fly (or rather, do anything) without tripping, stumbling or slipping. That became common on his life, but it wasn't something that Mirfah was proud of... even if in most of the times, he ended up finishing whatever he was doing with success. Aw, the first time I meet them and I end up embarassing myself again. Why is this always happening? he thought, really disappointed at how many times he did that on people.

"Oh, so there was a path back to town anyways. Maybe I just forgot it." Lance spoke. Of course, he couldn't ignore the fact that Devon had commented about the Guild. "For reals? Then let's go! I'm sure that this time, I can join the Guild! After all, I'm not alone anymore. Right, Mirfah?" he commented, looking back at the Togetic friend he made. "What? I'm sorry, I didn't paid too much attention." Mirfah asked. "We're heading for the Guild. It's an awesome place!" Lance called him. Mirfah stopped moving for a second and his eyes trembled a little. The Guild... it might be the Guild that brother was a member. If this is true, then I... he thought. Then, he looked up and asked them. "I... I need to join the Guild. Can you all help me?" Lance was the first one to walk forward and put his hand on Mirfah's head. "Your new buddy here is gonna be pleased if we join the Guild together and make a team. What do you say?" he asked, smiling. Without anything to stop him, Mirfah nodded.

Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Outskirts]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian@MagusDream
Devon put his hands on his hips, nodding at the Togetic with a small smile. "Sure. We'll help you out Mirfah. Let's go check out that Guild."

Walking past the others and down the path that Selena pointed out previously, Devon wore a sort of confused frown on his jaws. Eyes shrinking to slits as he realised the obvious. ......I have no idea what a Guild is. Everyone keeps talking about how great it is....This Guild Master Glyph guy...How strong it's members are....But what is it actually for?...Maybe I should actually ask about it now....

Slowly panning his head to face the others as they walked with him, Devon put his arms behind his head. "So uh, don't call me stupid but, what actually is this Guild? What do it's members even do?" Looking back down the path he continued. "I've never heard of it until today...Maybe it's not a thing where I live?"

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Outskirts]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
Selena headed over to the Totodile's side. "Maybe not, but you do have amnesia, so you probably wouldn't remember." She said, looking over to Ember. "Guilds are pretty much organizations created by Pokemon in order to explore new lands and help Pokemon in need. For the most part, the Folio Guild doesn't do much exploration, they usually help out Pokemon in the area surrounding Folio, namely the giant desert out there." Ember replied, pointing out over the sandy stretches beyond the massive tree that cradled Folio.

Ember then waved everyone on. "Come on, it won't take us long to get there, a couple minutes to get back to Town Square, and half that to reach the Guild!" Selena smiled seeing Ember worked up about the Guild, in a good way that is. "You must really admire the Guild and the work they do." Ember slowed her pace for moment, turning her head. "My... dad was a part of the Guild, until he disappeared that is." She looked to Devon and Lilisette. "I haven't told you that story yet, I can tell you while we walk." She proceeded forward again, continuing to speak.

"I only know my dad from what my mom told me. He was one of the most powerful members of the Folio Guild. He pretty much led any exploration missions outside of Folio. A natural leader. Soon he started raving about a discovery, another Mystery Dungeon high above Folio Town. Only a few Pokemon believed him even a little, but one was brave enough to go with him to try and find it. Neither of them were ever seen or heard from again, and all they found was his Treasure Bag..."

By the time the story had ended, they were already back in Folio Town Square.

[Folio Town - Town Square]

Ember didn't waste any time looking around the square. She made sure everyone was still behind her, and headed uptown where the Guild resided.

[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

When they got there, the Guild was practically empty, as was the Request Board inside. A few Pokemon were leaving, but most of the Guild looked like they were out. "Guess they're really busy today..." Said Selena, cautiously looking around the Guild. She'd never actually been inside the Guild before, but Ember seemed to know right where to go. A staircase off to the side is where she went, not going all the way up, but standing at the base of the stairs. The door at the top was open. "Excuse me, Guildmaster Glyph? We need to speak to you!" She called up the stairs.

Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Folio Trunk Entrance]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Breeze looked around unsuredly at the group. Someone obviously had to take the lead on this, someone qualified. "Well, who's taking point? I'd say someone with experience in the trunk should go first." She said, looking at Fuse. "I'm not one hundred percent the leadership type, I usually roll solo. But even I'm starting to see that the Trunk is getting way too dangerous for that now..." He looked over to Letho and Karaha. "Either of you going to take point? If not, I can try to..."

Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Outskirts→Town Square→Glyph's Guild]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian@MagusDream
Devon's gaze focused on Ember as she explained what exactly a Guild was. A smile came across his face as he looked out over the desert. "That's cool! These Guild guys sound pretty legit. I could see why everyone would wanna join em. An organization committed to helping Pokémon....I could get behind that."

The Quilava's enthusiasm was contagious, causing the Totodile to pick up the pace along with her. By this point he had gotten used to using his odd tiny legs, and was able to run with little issue. However, Ember's revelation stole the vigor from his stride. A sad frown came over his face as he slowed to a walk. "If you're comfortable telling it Ember, go for it. But you don't need to if you don't want to."

-

The same small, bug-eyed creature from the Observation platform poked it's face out from behind a leaf high above the kids to stare down at them. Quietly chattering to itself as it stayed hidden high up in the foliage.

-

Once they had arrived in the Town Square and the Fire-type had completed her story, Devon's form had deflated a bit. His deep brown eyes looking over the girl with sympathy. "Aw jeez. I'm sorry Ember....That sucks." Without knowing what else to say to the father-less Volcano Pokémon, the Water-type kept silent as they reached the Guild. Retreating to his thoughts. Ember and Lilisette talked about their parents...How they both lost their dads....Makes me wonder...What about my parents? Are they ok? Are they back in the place where....I guess humans live?....Hopefully I'll get to see them again...

Faris the Vileplume and Roland the Heracross
[Folio Town - Town Square]

Two more badge wearing mon stood off to the side of the square, sitting on the bar stools of an outdoor juice bar. The Vileplume, Faris, had his back to the bar as he held a wood cup in his grasp between his legs. His tiny pink eyes hidden beneath the brim of his flower were intensely scanning the towns in habitats. Watching silently for any sign of the V.I.P they had to find, or the Gardevoir outlaw. His eyes soon caught on a group of six children. A unique blue Kirlia, a Quilava and a Bayleef, most likely the local kids Ember and Selena, the scatterbrained Riolu Lance, a Togetic, and- "A Totodile!"

Spinning around in his chair, the flower shotgunned his drink before he pointed a round stubby arm towards the Guild's entrance that the Totodile's group was filing into. "Roland! I think that's the Totodile we're supposed to find. He's already heading into the Guild."

The large blue beetle in the chair next to the Grass-Poison type looked over with a straw in his mouth. Turning the stool around completely to get a good view of the rest of the square, he spotted the kids with his large yellow eyes and grinned. "Alright. Kid's got some foresight. We can cross that off our list for the day. I say we celebrate with more juice."

As he was to turn around, something caught in the corner of the Heracross' vision. Off to the side of the plaza, a Slakoth with a large round bag sitting next to it was sleeping on a bench. Normally that wasn't an unfamiliar sight, that Slakoth despite his species nature was a travelling salesmen that had visited the town in the past. What was off about the scene, was the fact that a Nuzleaf was standing next to the travellers bag, and had his hand shifting around in it nonchalantly. An irritated groan escaped the fighters mouth. "You seeing what I'm seeing Faris? Looks like we got another one."

The Vileplume had already leaped down from it's perch and was glaring at the Grass-Dark type. "Another thief? Where are they all coming from anyway? I heard from Brick that everyone else had caught at least three other ones trying to steal from Pokémon around town....But when they try to shake them down for information, none of them know anything."

Standing up from the chair and beginning to trudge towards the criminal through the crowds of townsfolk, Roland muttered. "They're organized, that's for sure. They're all just keeping their mouths shut so they don't rat out their buddies. They're smart I'll give them that, but they can't outsmart us."

-

Another patron of the juice bar looked over their shoulder. First to the blue roofed Guild, then to the Heracross and Vileplume that had now apprehended the thief by planting his face into the street. The dirty cloaked figure grew a smirk, hidden by their hood as they turned back towards the bar and threw a few Poké coins on the counter. "Another Nanab mix please."

I hope everything works out this time...
Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
Upon hearing the voice call up the stairs of the now a bit less lively Guild, the Guildmaster looked up from the paper that was on his desk. Still lost in his focused trace. "Hm?" Blinking and shaking his head, he went pink in the face. "O-Oh! Yes one moment please!"

Pushing out his chair and grabbing a small handkerchief from a drawer in his desk, the Flygon quickly rubbed his red goggle-like domes as he made his way out of the double doors of his study. I must stop doing that...Glyde never lets me hear the end of it...

Strolling down the upstairs hall, Glyph stopped at the top of the stairs and looked down them. It was a group of children from town. Ember, Selena, Lance, and three others he did not recognise. An oddly blue Kirlia, a Togetic, and a Totodile with peculiar brown spikes. The sight of the group brought a joyous smile to the Mystic Pokémon's face as he clasped his claws together. "Why hello there Ember! Hello everyone! Please, come upstairs to my study. I assume you have important matters to discuss, so it would be best to do it privately." He said as he stood to the side and gestured for the group to make their way upstairs before walking back to his room. Wonderful! Devon made his way here by himself! With friends no less! I wonder if they wish to join the Guild as well....

Letho the Sableye
[Folio Town - Folio Trunk Entrance]

@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher@Ninian
Raising a clawed hand and pointing to himself proudly, Letho gave a sharp grin. "I may not look it, but I actually used to live in the Trunk! I know every possible room combination like the back of my hand! Don't you worry folks, ol Letho'll get you to where ya need to go without a scratch! Let's hit it!"

Strutting past everyone and gesturing a hand, the Sableye entered through the large hole in the wood, into the danger and fortune that only a Mystery Dungeon could contain.

Karaha the Umbreon
[Folio Roots - Town Path F8]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
Karaha stepped inside the ominous dungeon. As usual, it was filled with sand and a dry root system which wrapped about them like some sort of cave. In fact, cave may be the most accurate description.

The layout of the place had already changed since Karaha had been there earlier that morning. The path that lead downwards should have been in the first room, but it was certainly not. The first several floors of the Town Path were home to many Ground and Rock-types. Most commonly Sandshrew, Trapinch, Hippopotas, Drillbur, Baltoy, Sandile, Roggenrola and Aron. In fact, in one of the distant winding halls, Karaha could see the silhouette of what appeared to be a Baltoy. Should be simple enough.

Turning around to face the group, Karaha spoke softly, "As I mentioned before, once we reach the Waypoint, I'll be departing. However, I always cary a few spare Escape Orbs... I've been traveling much as of late. Before I forgot, who would like to hold onto it?"

Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
Blinking a few times at the Togetic, Lilisette was overcome with concern. Perhaps they had a concussion? The Kirlia didn't want to embarrass them any further, but she was going to keep a watchful eye.

Ember's story about her missing father really struck a chord with the Kirlia. It was something she could relate with. Eyes downcast, Lilisette didn't say a word until they reached the Guild.

When the group reached Glyph, Lilisette's eyes lit up. "I-It's... really Glyph!" Gasping she simply stared at the Flygon with lips parted. Well, at least for a few moments until she managed to regain her composure. "It's an absolute honor, sir!"

At Glyph's gesture, Lilisette shot upstairs.

Letho the Sableye
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher@Ninian
Reaching into his bag and idly tossing a small glass sphere in his hand, Letho walked ahead of the rest of the group. His head turning 180 degrees once again to face the Umbreon with a grin. "Nah, I got my own orbs in case we get in trouble." Head turning back to face the dry sandy hall, he spin the orb on the tip of his claw. "Not like we'll get into too much trouble anyways right?" Looking to the small Aron with it's bag and necklace, the Sableye questioned him. "Hey Gren, how deep we going? I only heard about you needing to do something in the Trunk, but I didn't catch any specifics."

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
Seeing Lilisette fly up the stairs, Ember followed right behind. Slowly Selena crept up the stairs into the large room lined with fully stocked bookshelves. Truthfully it was a bit intimidating, Selena saw herself as a Durant in this room. Slowly she took her place alongside Ember and Lilisette in front of the desk, looking behind to check and make sure Devon, Lance, and Mirfah were following suit.

"We're sorry to bother you so much, Mr. Glyph, we can see the Guild is really busy right now, but this was the safest place we could think of." Said Ember quickly. "You see, we just met Devon, a Totodile, and he told us he'd been attacked! We thought whoever it was might come back to finish the job, so we came to see you..." Ember slowed, seeing the smile on the Flygon's face. "You... you already know, don't you?" She responed, a little downcast.

While they talked, Selena was just glancing around the room when she happened to glance over Lilisette. At first glance before, she seemed perfectly fine. But now, up close, she appeared to have some light scratches, possibly from attacks that barely graced her or from debris caused by attacks that missed their mark. She could often catch the smallest things if given the chance, and what she saw worried her. She whispered as quietly as she could to the Blue Kirlia. "You... you weren't attacked too, were you? I can see the scratches..." She gave her a look in the eyes, one filled with worry. Not just for Lilisette, either. For anyone traveling through the Trunk.

Gren

Location: Folio Trunk
Activity: Exploring the Trunk

Gren nodded his head as Latho was willing to lead. Though Gren was the one who wanted to even get this expedition started, he knew better than to try and lead, so he allowed the more experienced pokemon take point. Karaha was also offering an Escape Orb for someone else. Gren has never used these things before, but it might be useful if he needs to escape. ”I’ll take one.”

Gren walked up to Karaha to get an orb when Letho turned his head to ask him how deep they were going. Gren could only shrug his shoulders. ”I dunno. I’m looking for a pokemon who can tell me something I want to know… If I’m right the pokemon actually lives down here. And they should be friendly. But other than I dunno.” Admittedly, Gren should have done some more research. He didn’t even know the pokemon he was looking for. He figured that it would be obvious when he saw them, or at least he could ask whatever pokemon doesn’t immediately try to attack them. ”I do know that if we head to the lower trunk, we should find them.”

Glyph the Flygon and Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
Lilisette was of course, the first to speed into the room. The Kirlia's excited disposition bringing forth a chuckle from the Guildmaster as he took his seat at the desk and smiled at the girl. "Ah...The pleasure's all mine. I've never quite got this sort of reaction from someone. Thank you."

The rest of the children soon filed into the library, and Ember asked her question proper. The entire time the Quilava was speaking, Glyph held a giddy smile on his face. Which it seemed that Ember quickly took notice of. Another soft chuckle escaped the Flygon as he eyed the Fire-type. "Why yes, I do. I pride myself in knowing everything there is to know in our little town. You know me too well Ember."

His domed eyes shifted to look past the rest of the kids, and instead focus on Devon. The Totodile himself standing idly off to the side scratching his snout and looking around at the many maps, charts, and drawings that lined the walls of the large room. "Devon, could you please step forward? I believe you would like some sort of explanation for why you were attacked, and why you are here?"

Devon paused for a moment, looking up at the much taller Pokémon before him and nodding. "Sure. The amnesia's kinda making it hard to get it all together. Thanks." Stepping past everyone to stand in front of the Guildmaster's desk, he looked back at his friends before tilting his head upwards and giving Glyph a wondering stare.

The Dragon's friendly gaze turned a bit hard as he looked around to the group, before finally looking to the Water-type among them. He rested his clasped claws on the desk as he spoke. "Children, you've all heard the tales of 'people' have you not? Oh, one moment actually."

Pushing his chair away from the desk, the desert dwelling Pokémon walked over to one of the many shelves of books behind him. Turning his back to the group, he hovered a claw over the spines of the reading material. Bending over and mumbling to himself as he read the end labels. "Hm...Let's see....Talk of the ancients....Tools of Pokémon....Ah, here we are."

Glyph turned back around with a dusty red hard covered book in his grasp. On the side of it that faced the kids, were many odd gold scratches that they would be able to read as 'Tales of bravery'. "These are in fact, not simple fairy tales. For many of these stories are actually quite true. 'People', or as they're also called 'humans', exist. In fact, there is one standing in this room right now."

Blinking at the Guildmaster, Devon awkwardly turned on his heel to face everyone sheepishly. A goofy smile on his jaws as he rubbed the back of his head. "Guess my uh, secret's out huh guys? I guess I'm not from around here at all...Like, not even from this world. Crazy right?"

Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
With a giddy smile, Lilisette stared at Glyph, as a fangirl might, before she heard Selena's low voice. Focusing her attention on the Bayleaf, she replied with a lowered voice as to not distract the others, "Oh, um. Yeah I was. I'm sure it's fine though. I mean I'm fine and all. Just, uh..." Furrowing her brows, the Kirlia put a hand to her chin. "The Gliscor said he was sent to kill me though. Me specifically, which uhhh... doesn't make any sense. I dunno, maybe he had me mixed up with someone else..."

A few moments later, Glyph revealed the Totodile's secret, which didn't phase Lilisette one bit. Instead, her thoughts were now on that Gliscor from earlier that she had shrugged off so easily. Selena might be on to something. I can't just tell her there's no way someone could've known I existed though... hnnngh.

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
The duo looked at the oddly colored Totodile in surprise and awe. "You... you're a human? Like from those stories? My mom always told me stories about when the world was at it's darkest, a human would be brought to our world to save it, but I never believed them!" Selena though took it a bit harder, almost stepping backward. "Humans... humans aren't dangerous, are they? I mean, you don't seem any different than a Totodile..." She said sheepishly.

Ember reassured her Grass Type companion. "I don't think he's dangerous, I think it's awesome! He's, like, from another world, isn't he? I wonder what it's like... how different it is from ours... the adventures someone could have..." Selena was still a little unsure. "Well... you definitely don't seem bad... but if what you said is true, about those stories, what's happening?" She asked, pondering a bit.

Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Trunk - Town Path F8]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Breeze follwed behind Gren, with Fuse watching the rear. What Letho had said didn't help ease his nerves, he wanted to make sure they weren't outflanked or anything. He'd been noticing it more and more, the Dungeon Pokemon were acting very odd lately. They weren't attacking randomly as they had in the past, they seemed more organized, luring Guild Pokemon into ambushes, not even Monster Houses, just flat out ambushes. Add onto that the Pokemon that don't even belong in the Trunk, something wasn't adding up...

Then Gren told them he had no clue what or who they were even looking for... "So, you did all this, and you're not even sure where we're going or who we're looking for?! Did you think any of this out?!" He yelled, quite obviously agitated. His "Fuse" had been lit. Breeze tried to defuse the situation. "Easy, he's just a kid, he probably didn't know any better. He just wants answers..." But there was no stopping Fuse now.

"Answers?! Are these answers worth dying for?! I can tell you, that's a very high possibility after what's been happening lately... lots of Guild Members, some as experienced as Glyph himself, they've been coming in with crazy injuries after heading that far down! Robel was just the latest of those... I don't want to be one of those, but more, I don't want to drag one of those out... sorry I blew up like that, but just the lack of preparation and seemingly carelessness in this mission... it takes a good deal to get me angry, and that fits the bill."

Breeze could tell now what Fuse was like. Even though he had a lone wolf personality and could seem angry, he deeply cared about others. "You do have a point though. Gren, how far did you think this through?" She asked, a hint of worry in her eyes. Fuse was definitely right. If the Lower Trunk was as dangerous as she'd been told, this would be a life or death mission for all of them...

Gren

Location: Folio Trunk - Town Path Floor 8
Activity: Walking into the Trunk

Gren was quite frankly shocked when Fuse blew up at him, but Gren kept his cool. Or rather, he kept his anger within him, seething. He let Fuse rant, explaining that a lot of guild members have been hurt exploring the trunk and that Gren should have made more preparation. Maybe Fuse was right. But Gren was defended his decision. ”Maybe not to you… But they are for me.” Gren looked at Fuse, anger in his eyes and just barely contained in his voice. ”If anyone else doesn’t want to get hurt, you can leave. I’m used to getting beat up by pokemon stronger than me. That doesn’t hurt me no more. But what does is if I ran away from this because I was scared. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”

Gren walked pasted Fuse and continued onwards, but he still spoke in his low monotone, to keep his emotions in check. ”Whatever is down there in the trunk that has been hurting everyone so badly, and doesn’t belong down there. But you know what? What if that thing, pokemon, or whatever, decides to leave the trunk and come to Folio Town? Someone has to find out what is happening. But that won’t happen if everyone is too scared to go down into the trunk because they could get hurt. If anyone has to do it, it might as well be us.”

Breeze asked Gren what sort of prep he’s done for this mission, to which he shook his head slowly. ”Not very. I… After hearing everything going on, I didn’t know how much time I had left. Things are getting dangerous in the trunk. If it’s really bad, the pokemon I’m looking for might be gone already. Or I would have to have gone down into the Trunk by myself, if the guild won't… I don’t intend to go back though. You can run if you want. But I'm not leaving until I get answers.”

Mirfah and Lance

Town: Folio Town
Location: Glyph's Guild

@Light Lord@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo

"Whoa!! Hold up a sec! A human?! Who became a Totodile?! That's so awesome!!" Lance commented, excited about the fact he just heard. And of course, as anyone could possibly do that, he started to burst questions out of his mouth. "So, how's the human world? Is the sky colored blue there? Are there any yummy foods? What do you all do to have fun? Are there many places to explore? And how much cool are the mysteries?" that was just the beginning of his questioning.

On the other hand, Mirfah paid attention to all information that Glyph shared with them and unfazedly acknowledged that Devon wasn't originally a Pokémon. His thoughts were swirling about another truth that he acquired while being in the guild for a few seconds.I remember what Brother always told me. He was commanded by a smart Flygon. It has to be Glyph and this has to be the Guild where he was a member before he disappeared...! I'm coming a little closer to find out what happened to him! he thought with himself. His hopes were getting higher, but he didn't felt like asking about the incident in public. "Hey, Mirfah! Isn't this awesome?! Devon is a human! We have a human around us!" Lance called him, but all that Mirfah did was stare at his bell-shaped pendant and drop a single tear.

Lilisette the Kirlia

Raising her hand, Lilisette spoke up. "I-I know what's happening, but um... it'll be ok! The Great Hero will save Folio, and Devon will save the world. So um, don't be too worried, all right?"

After realizing what she had just said, the Kirlia immediately... started to hide herself with a panicked expression upon her visage. D-Did I really just... say all that... oh man...

Glyph the Flygon and Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
Devon was surprised by the mostly positive reactions that everyone offered for his secret. His tail began to wag back and forth behind him as he put his arms behind his head and frowned slightly at the many questions that he unfortunately didn't have answers to. "I'm not dangerous Selena. I'd never hurt you guys. As for all your questions about what my world's like, I uh...I can't really answer them." Holding out his hands, he shook his head with doubt. "I have amnesia, so I can't remember much about it. All I know for sure is that including humans, Pokémon also live there with us. That's really the only way I can think of for why I know what you guys are." Looking down at his scaly blue body, his brows flattened. "...And for what I am now I guess."

The flurry of excitement from everyone in the room brought a smile To Gylph's face. However, Lilisette's odd quip caused him glance at the blue Kirlia with curiosity. Mirfah's hung head earned him a glance as well. Not wanting to bring attention to the two, the Flygon explained the situation further. "As he has said, Devon is not dangerous. He is in fact quite the kind spirit judging from the fact that you all befriended him. As well as the fact that there has been no record of a cruel human being brought here. I'm sure that whatever force in our world that summons them is quite careful in the selection process."

A sign escaped the dragon's maw as his eyes dropped to look at the desk. "And as you probably know, Devon's presence signifies that dark times are approaching our us. Humans are summoned for the purpose of assisting in the prevention of global crisis, and this time is no exception. I've been notified that the Sibyl has predicted that hostile dungeon dwelling Pokémon will become organized under a corrupted leader, and wish to bring down modern civilization."

Smiling at Lilisette, he chuckled. "Your friend over there is correct. There is no need to be worried for the future children. We Pokémon are strong when we unite, and with Devon to aid us we will be able to take on this this threat with ease. All we must do is prepare ourselves for what is to come and face it with the courage that resides in us all."

Placing the tome documenting the feats of many brave Pokémon onto the desktop, the Guildmaster suddenly started to beat his wings rapidly. The thin rhombus-shaped appendages turned into two blurs of motion as the Flygon went airborne. Zipping upwards to the indented ceiling in the middle of the room, he reached out to grab another large book from the shelf that ringed the indentation. This one had a blue cover, and was for the most part unmarked save for the odd little insignia on it's spine. Glyph's personal signature.

Coming back down to the floor, he set the literature on the desk and opened to it's middle. Eyes scanned the text for a moment before he looked over and blinked at the Pokémon in the room and stood up straight. Putting on a proud smile as he tapped the pages. "Over the years, I've become pen pals with another Guildmaster that resides on the Grass Continent. He's told me troves of information regarding the human he had the honor of teaching in the ways of Exploration work in his letters. I find his tales quite interesting. And as I'm know for, I've thought ahead and documented all of our conversations on the subject. Using his experiences as a guide, I formulated a plan for if I would ever need to train, and assist a human in the fight against dark forces. Everything we need is in this tome."

Continuing to stand proud for another few seconds with his eyes closed, the Mystic Pokémon cleared his throat and looked upon the party. "I-I suppose I'm rambling again. My apologies everyone. To sum up my plans, I'm going to have all members of this Guild on high alert at all times. Training will be much more often, and they'll be encouraged to gain as much field experience as possible. Devon will become a member and be given a partner, and rigorous training post-haste. Allowing him to be able to combat any danger he may face in this world. All I ask from the rest of you, is to remain level headed through the ordeal. Assist your fellow Pokémon as much as you can. Can I count on you all?"

It was alot to take in for the little Totodile as he stood with the rest of the group. Staring up at the expecting dragon with an unsure frown before looking at his feet. Can I really do this? Save their entire world?...It's alot to ask from one guy.... Looking over his shoulder at his new friends, his deep brown eyes ran over all of them before they rested on Lilisette. Lilisette says that in the future I do it. That's a good sign right?....And I'm gonna have the entire Guild and town to back me up. A more determined expression came on Devon's face as he smirked at the others and turned back Glyph with a nod and a thumbs up. "I'll do it. I know I can. I won't let you all down. I promise."

Letho the Sableye
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher@Ninian
While the yelling and disagreements flew around him, Letho had the advantage of being a ghost. Turning intangible to be basically nothing but an outline, the Sableye stayed silent while Breeze, Fuse, and Gren talked it out. Once they had finished, he came back into visibility and flashed a smile at the little Aron. "We ain't leaving you out to dry Gren, but like everyone's tellin' ya, you should probably think about this more next time. Guildmaster Glyph probably would have sent us down here sooner or later without civilians to go check it out just like he did with Robel, so we ain't scared of it. It's just not worth it most of the time ya know?"

Leaning back and slouching on his side a bit, he scrapped some sand off the floor and let it fall between his claws. "But I'd say it's worth it now if we're trying to go save someone down there. We ain't leaving unless things get super rough. I dunno about this guy we gotta find though. Living so deep down there, you gotta be crazy. How did you even hear about this mon anyways Gren?"

Karaha the Umbreon
[Folio Roots - Town Path F8]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
The blue-ringed Umbreon remained silent for the discussion at hand. He had already warned the small Aron as much as he was able. If he truly wished to continue, he would regardless of anyone's personal opinion. Instead, Karaha began padding onward to scout out the immediate area while they continued to settle their differences.

This path seems fairly normal. It must be deep in the roots then... that must be where they're converging.

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
As Guildmaster Glyph explained the situation in detail, the idea that some kind of world ending threat was upon them drove quite a bit of fear into the kids. But for once, they weren't going to back down. Usually Selena would have locked herself away in her room by now, and Ember might have done the same in this situation. But as scared as they were, they were smart enough to know there was no avoiding what was coming. And, surprisingly enough, Selena spoke first. "Only... only one partner? Usually... usually I wouldn't get involved with things like this, I detest fighting the most of anything! But... if something wants to harm us, our world, I... I can't stand by and let that happen!" Inside her head, her emotions were conflicting with each other like never before. "What am I doing?! What am I saying?! Can I actually do this? I've got to do this! I've got to try... but what if I fail..."

Ember spoke up afterward. "Selena has a point! We may have only met Devon today, but If he needs help, then I'm in too! We're old enough to join the Guild, too!" She said confidently. Secretly she'd always wanted to be part of the Guild, maybe even one day finding her father because of it. Selena finally came to a decision. "I... I agree with Ember... I... I want to help Devon too... Please... Please let us join!" She said, with a slight tinge of fear in her voice but also with a confidence even Ember hadn't heard from the Leaf Pokemon yet.

Then she also looked over to the odd colored Kirlia. "What about you, Lilisette? You want to help too, right?" Asked Ember. Obviously Devon and Lilisette had hit it off amazingly earlier that day, she'd be surprised if she declined the offer.

Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Trunk - Town Path F8]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Fuse looked at the young Aron again when he responded. "Gren, I'm going to be brutally honest with you, there's a fine line between courage and stupidity. I get you didn't think you had much time, but like Breeze said, if they live in the Trunk, they know how to handle themselves. We, on the other hand, should have been completely prepared for something like this. If I'd known how little you actually knew, I'd have grabbed plenty more supplies."

Then Letho spoke his piece. "Exactly. We'll stick with you, but if things at ANY point get out of our control, we're getting the heck out of there, no matter what you say." Breeze nodded. "Right, our priority is you. If we can help anyone else down there, that's great. But you're the main focus." Fuse looked down a nearby corridor and stopped. "Hold up!" He said, heading down the corridor. He called back through. "Found 'em, stairs are over here!" He replied. Breeze continued to watch their flank, making sure there was nothing around. But... it was all quiet, as the Town Path was said to be.

Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream
The attention was called upon her and Lilisette froze, wide-eyed. "M-Me...? Help? ...Devon? I mean, I... I don't... think I'm supposed to." Staring at the ground, she bit her lip, with arms holding herself for a moment before letting out a sigh. "I... I mean I can. I don't want to just ditch Devon, but um... I ... I'm actually supposed to be going to entirely different continent... soon."

Hanging her head, she whimpered softly. "...where I'm going is really dangerous, and... probably even for Devon. Well, um..." With a small frown she came up with a decision. "If Devon wants, I'll be more than happy to help! Just um, when the time comes I need to ditch to do something. If I um... survive, I'll be back, though."
