Let me know what y'all think of Narzul and Gahrul. I'm itching for some feedback and possible suggestions for improvement, if anyone's got them.

@Hank Looks pretty good to me. All I will say is that I'm quite sure "enthousiasm" isn't spelt with the extra "o".

With that in mind, folks, I suppose I ought to mention that I'm writing up a character to fill the role of Company Witch. Y'know, before that idea gets sniped away from me again. Ha. Stay tuned for that, ladies.

Working on my duder.

A funny idea I had would for our company to have a rival company of Elvish exiles and expatriates. Genuine criminals of Elvish society that still manage to put on airs of being civilized and heroic soldiers. They'd go around singing shit like this as they marched.

And there is this Dwarven company that we keep running into that actually respect us... if only because we're not those bloody elvish twits. Que some history in which all three of us once worked side by side on a job in which the elven company bailed on their position to go and protect a grove of trees and almost got everyone else killed... and then had the nerve to tell our clients that it was our fault somehow.

Realistically, the characters I need at this point are Jagath and the heir. Beyond that, we're good on characters.

Also, like the idea of elven expats, not so sure how I feel about a friendly company of dwarves. But elven expats is definitely done. I feel like employers would hire them mostly because they think, "ooh, elves."

Meanwhile Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi also says, "ooh, elves," with a very different tone of voice.

And then they water their wargs.

For the love of the Gods, HeySeuss, why must you do this to me?!

Fine, I'll bite...just because I love the entire concept.

Also, just saying now, the soundtrack for Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi should be GWAR. Stick to that, please. ;)

Okay, I threw up a sheet directly in the Character section... since it looked like that's what everyone else was doing. I'm used to posting in the OOC, or PMing it, or... something. Hope I didn't fuck up.

So I am approving all characters except for the two witches I got because I have to figure things out and want to look over those sheets carefully because I am going to wind up choosing one. It was totally fine to post in the character sheet tab, I just have two people giving me two different characters and I need to look at it from the perspective of how the plot plays out with these characters.

Oh, yeah, I'm working on my CS right now. Just to ask, how does an Orcish Fighting Monk sound?

Possibly interested, would a flaming orc be okay?

More like an Orc miner who had an unfortunate encounter with some very stubborn magical fire that managed to get into his system, thus making him glow and his eyes be on fire, small diff. Maybe something about fire as well.

@HeySeuss Just to say, I am working on summit! Just got back from work (it's 3:45 AM here), so it'll be a wee bit later but it'll be here.

@Athinar Ah, great minds think alike...good thing I changed my idea then.

@Athinar I honestly struggle with ideas of a monk orc, because the company culture doesn't seem overly likely to be so supportive of such a thing. I suppose we'll see what goes with sheets, but I have grave doubts.

@ClocktowerEchos That doesn't say much about what such a character does. So I'm not sure how to react to that.

@HeySeussI was just wondering if I could make a orc with a flaming hammer or an insane resistance to fire.

That said, I think I just came up with another idea of a human-raised orc whose trying to be a knightly figure with limited amounts of success. Would something like that be possible? Might be interesting to do an orc with a more human approach to things. Also orcish chivalry must be something amazingly hilarious now that I think about it some more.

Sure, that sounds very viable, actually. The Company likes having Tuskers on hand that have insight into the humans.

God damn it, again? I even explicitly said that I was writing up the company witch a day or so ago... bloody hell, @Zendrelax.

@BCTheEntity@Zendrelax Choosing Sparla for the role. I don't like choosing between characters, but there is only one slot in this role. I realize everyone put work in and I appreciate that, but in the end I have to go with the sheet that fits the role. Basically, Zendrelax's sheet had a lot more to work with in terms of history detail and I like the idea of Magog being a fallen hero of the Company, with his tusks carved into scrimshaw and mounted on the banner as a reminder that he killed twenty on his way out. By the same token Sparla isn't merely a terrifying character, she's set an entire bunny city aflame for daring to stand in her way. I feel that fits the narrative and the character role.
