There's something wrong with your country, when your culture, your society, doesn't develop a fucking expression that means "excuse me, pardon me". Somehow, the fucking nation of China, among the oldest civilizations on Earth, didn't think it was worth their time to think of a fucking phrase that means "pay attention to me for a moment, and/or get the fuck out of my way". Instead, people just wordlessly push and shove into each other, with no recognition whatsoever. They'll stand in your way, and you don't have a way to tell them to move. They'll push you aside without saying a word, regardless of where you're standing, and even if it means pushing you into another person.
This is just how things are here. No one gives a fuck about personal space... AND YET... and yet, the notion of a handshake is considered too intimate, that it is only reserved for the most special, most important, of occasions. You can push another person, male or female, into a wall or another person, but don't you dare shake their hand when saying hello.
What the hell happened, China?
And don't get me started on toilet paper! Well, too fucking late, actually. It's not normal, in China, for a bathroom to have toilet paper... I'M NOT JOKING! You are expected to carry a role of toilet paper with you at all times, to wipe your own ass. Women, and sometimes men, carry purses here, and you can bet they're full of toilet paper!
What the fuck, China?
Also, the public washrooms here are the most ungodly things you've ever seen. For one, no man in China knows how to aim at a fucking toilet or urinal. Secondly, the janitors often don't bother to even mop it up! I was in a large public bathroom, where they had industrial fans going, TO DRY THE URINE ON THE FLOOR. They hadn't washed the floor, they were just drying the pools and rivers of piss onto the ground, and leaving it there!
Oh China...
