@Hayazo: Yes. Yes, it is.

Anyways... Anyone not salvaging the ship... Try not to go overboard in the collection of materials, if at all. As for Stekkmen who's out hunting for fish...

Well, all I need to say in the end is that searching will probably eat up maybe two hours or so, given the mess. Both non-salvaging groups can interpret that as they wish.

Apologies, I'm just about done on my post.

Alright, that's good.

So... That's the fire crystal and two sets of seeds down. Wheat and Barley and food are left to dig up... But that's all the non-material stuff to use. Salvaging the materials that are broken and in the shipwreck? Well... I'll leave that to your discretion for now, everyone.

So I was going to say "Fuck it, i'll join anyway cause this is a good concept." Then 3 hours of work went down the drain because there's no draft saving. So I'll likely be spending another 3 hours re-writing, albeit angrier.

Edit: There, finished. Inb4 too late, but whatever happens, happens.

Name: Ryze Sirrus, "Midnight"
Age: 29
Race: Wendigo

Ya heard of the Wendigos? Those elusive creatures eat the flesh of the species they once were, and wear the skin of their kill as their own. I've survived an encounter only because of their inability to cooperate. They kill as they like, even if it's their own. Watch yourself, they could be anywhere, them vengeful spirits.
I suppose some of that is true. Just, widely spread.
You've encountered them too!? How are you alive, you're but a young man!
Here, let me show you a thing or two about us.

Appearance:

Standing at 6'1, his piercing red eyes give off feelings of uneasiness. His getup is strange too. Don't say that to his face though, could be a bad idea.
Personality:
Midnight remains calm most of the time, saying what he thinks no matter how good or bad the situation. Working himself into a frenzy over things would just make him hungry anyway. He's barely driven, only caring about food and how to quell his boredom. Whenever he isn't occupied with something, he's probably lounging about or sleeping, the latter bordering Narcolepsy. As his alias suggests, Midnight adores the later hours, and his namesake hour causes him to get a little riled up. While Midnight is sarcastic, he usually ends up acting silly unintentionally, and can be friendly if he so wishes. Just don't feed him anything other than flesh or carrots if you don't want him to complain. He has an interest in Magic, and would like to learn more about types other than his innate Shadow Magic. If he could use a Catalyst, he'd be much more fluent.
Abilities:
Shadow Magic - Midnight has a small variety of innate techniques that drain his stamina, most likely being why he sleeps so much.
Nightmare - Causes a sleeping target to have a bad dream.
Shadow Blend - Midnight merges with the shadows on a surface, cooling off and hiding from sight, though not from hearing. He is still a part of the physical world, and if his shadow is stepped on he still feels it.
Darkness Lance - Imbuing his fist with a shadow, Midnight's punches give the pain of being frozen to where they've struck.
Skinwalking - Though all Wendigos can expend their stamina to take the appearance of their latest meal, Midnight refuses to ever use this, as he has a value for his individuality.
Spirit Strength - Wendigos have triple the strength of the average human, which betrays Midnight's rather fragile looks.
Slow Stomach - Midnight's strange anatomy allows him to hold out longer than other races without food. Drinking is another matter, however.
Bloodless - A Wendigo's organs function without blood, so trying to bleed them is pointless.

Salvaged Item: A small box containing 4 pounds of meat. Deeee-licious.
History:

"Midnight is the hour of the hunt. When the moon trembles in the wake of our presence, and wolves howl warnings to those who are foolish enough to stay on our reserve; all who are caught under the moonlit sky are our prey."

Wendigos are a species native to Ouran, and they are few and far between. At birth, they are abandoned for two reasons; one, the burden of keeping more flesh for a child would be too great. Two, the race would survive through only its strongest members if they are to survive a childhood of solitude. But, I'm sure they didn't expect the laziest to survive as well.
Ryze Sirrus spent his childhood lazily drifting about like his inspirations; the clouds. A typical day would be along the lines of "Sleeping, Eating a rare passerby, Walking slowly along the road, Sleeping, Practicing his Shadow Magic, and Sleeping". He spent some time in the towns he visited to learn the Common Language and how to act like a human, but other than that would be rather uninterested in culture until he was 13. He started getting curious about things other than just drifting, as that was starting to bore him. So Ryze started work as a butcher. From there, he started to have a place in society he could learn from, as well as have access to flesh (though animal flesh was sub-par compared to human or elf flesh). He spent some time in a school, but only to learn proper etiquette, as everything else bored him.
When Ryze became 21 years-old, he decided it was time to make a name for himself. People could be way more fun than just good food, so he wanted to join the Ouran Military. Making it through Boot Camp with unsettling ease, the Wendigo went into active duty as an Ouranese Warrior that was renowned for having inhuman ability...for the two years he served, before he was discovered devouring the flesh of those he killed and was recognized as a Wendigo. Taken into custody and brought to the Lord of the land, Ryze was punished with Trial by Combat. The battle-hardened Knight who he fought against would have slain Ryze, had it not been the late hours of the evening. As they battled, Ryze's poor sword-skills were made obsolete as the clock struck Midnight, causing Ryze's lust for slaughter go hyper-mode. Ripping the man apart, Ryze was granted a semi-pardon, and received the alias Midnight by all who bore witness. To complete his pardon and live in society as the first-ever civil Wendigo, Midnight was called on 5 years later with four others to undertake a voyage by sea to a faraway land.

He knew the trip would be a bust, the sea never agreed with him anyway. Well, he'll have plenty of time to brood over it now.

Nation of Origin: Ouran
Nation Lore:
Ouran is a nation far to the South, surrounded by temperate forests and wide, open lakes. It's a rather popular spot for travelers, as the scenery is as lush and beautiful as they come; the water glistens in every pond and river, the trees and vegetation sways gently in the breeze, and the sun seems to always be shining.
This is but the face of it, however. In truth, Ouran is a rather unforgiving place to live. The Flora can often times be poisonous or a creature in of itself that'll devour those who aren't aware. The Fauna is just as bad, as the near-top of the food chain yields the Dire Wolves and Griffons that are wide-spread in their nesting of the region, and the Apex Predators - Manticores - may be small in number, but are unchallenged beasts that terrorize their prey and civilization alike.
When it comes to the Ouranese people, they are weary in nature. When constantly under threat of your own land, it's only natural to hold distrust in those you see. Strangely however, this does not affect politics over a range, as those in power feel that the other people who are at a great distance from Ouran cannot harm them. As foolhardy as this is, it has gained Ouran a number of allies from other nations such as Tawken, who has proved to be quite kind in its trade. The Lord of the land has improved Ouran's cities with their help, having built more schools, guard outposts, markets, and even a grand library.
Other:
Midnight has motion sickness. When riding on any kind of transportation, he either collapses, vomits, or curls up in strange positions.

Carrots are the only food aside from flesh that Midnight can stand. He will eat other foods, but will heavily complain while doing so.

There aren't many things Midnight fears, but cats are one of them.

Midnight is illiterate - while he can speak fluently, he can't write well.

The Midnight Hour is the hour of the Hunt. If Ryze is awake, he'll be in a rather violent mood.

While he is afraid of cats, Midnight loves dogs, and dogs love him. Less powerful breeds of wolves will even put their trust in him, licking at his face.

@NiceScourge: Luckily, we're not yet in a position where signups are closed. But let's see here...

Well, putting aside the expy aspect of it all...
As I love saying, loading up magic and strength is... Not a good idea. Especially when the strength factor is considerably higher than a normal human's, as is stated. Merging with shadows already has a chance to be broken, especially if in a situation where there's shade EVERYWHERE; you've slated this as a low-level spell, mind you, which alone breaks the situation pretty hard. But...
Yeahno, what really offs me is the aspect of "I'm going to cannibalize people because reasons!" and the fact that the dude GETS A DAMN PARDON FOR IT. You don't pardon a guy that rips apart one of your best warriors in any fashion, mainly because that calls the leader's logic into question. Also, by no means (or, well, unless there was a very unlikely situation) would anyone be willing to cooperate if they knew that an ally might be caught eating the flesh of a compatriot, ESPECIALLY if they were caught doing something similar before. To add to that, a group member going full bloodlust-mode in a situation where not sleeping might be a thing? You'd be outta there in a flash. Furthermore, this journey is being treated as a 'punishment' so that the person may be pardoned of their crimes. It's not logical to send a criminal (or someone who may be considered one) on a voyage where the intent is to set up good relations with the nations currently on the continent) and expect no not receive backlash. The people that are going are representatives of their nations, and sending what many would perceive as a criminal is a self-destructive move that can only end in disaster.

The people that would've been sent on the voyage would have to be people that can cooperate, not ones that people would have an immensely difficult time trusting. Given the lore you gave as well, it's stated that he is the "first-ever civil wendigo", which leads me to believe that the rumors you stated near the top, even if they may not be true (but given your statements, probably apply here as well), would cause EVERYONE to be wary.

Big "no" on my part. Sorry, man, but there are too many inherent issues with the character lore and situation that I cannot ignore.

No need to say sorry, you have very true points. I made a character that's more for a different kind of survival than the one we have here. If my app is shit just literally tell me it's shit :p
Anyway, I'll scrap the idea and go for something more modest...but I think I want to keep the near-narcoleptic part. Off to the drawing board!

Initiate Retry.exe

Name: Lilita Rosetti
Age: 21
Race: Human
Appearance:

She stands at a modest 5'9.
Personality:
Lilita is normally a rather bubbly and cheerful girl, preferring to take on the burden of staying positive for the sake of those around her. She will try to help those she sees in need in whatever way possible, even if all she can do is just comfort them. She's normally seen as quite attractive, and while she considers this a burden, being pretty has its occasional perks. She is an equal mix of Social Butterfly and Loner, liking both the prospects of being surrounded by friends and having time to herself, and tries to adapt her attitude to that of which she thinks people will feel comfortable around her. On the inside, however, she's much darker than she appears to be. Taking on everyone's sadness and replacing it with happiness takes its toll on Lilita, and when she's alone or otherwise away from others' perception, she often cries and cries, as if all of the negativity had been absorbed into her. She beats herself down when in this state, not believing in her own abilities and perceiving herself to be a worthless weight on everyone's shoulders. She considers suicide rather often, and every day she draws closer to a decision.
Abilities:
Angel-Demeanor - Lilita's positive attitude often has great effect on those who aren't in the best of spirits.
Strong-Willed - Lilita will push herself in her tasks, not wanting to disappoint her comrades.
FBS The Musical - Lilita has a wide range, and is a rather talented singer.
Curse-Bride's Wail - Though unlikely, if someone were to catch Lilita crying, it would feel as if a dagger had been ran through their heart.
Salvaged Item: The gold ring she received from the King, adorned with a green jewel.
History:

Lilita grew up in the city of Fiore, a medium-sized city that resided on the south side of Tawken. She doesn't remember her early years very much, but when she was just 6 years old, her father was taken away for overwhelming debt that couldn't be paid back. Though the debts weren't plastered to Lilita's mother's name, she simply couldn't let her husband rot in prison without her. So, she handed Lilita over to her sister and shared in the fate of Lilita's father.
Lilita was an unremarkable child at first; she had low grades in just about everything, and she was always getting in trouble. But her aunt and uncle could see that she had a big, warm heart. She focused on trying to make her classmates and teachers happy, and stood up against those who would do wrong. Her aunt decided to take her to the Grand Parade when Lilita was 11 years old, and the girl fell in love with the colors, floats, and The King who attended this national event. But most of all, she fell in love with the happy atmosphere, people laughing and pointing at the floats. It was a truly magical experience for the young maiden. She went home that day feeling confident that life was fun and filled with laughter.
That night, her uncle died from cardiac arrest, and her thoughts changed.

When Lilita was 16, she was caught up in a huge robbery when attending her aunt at the market. Multiple men with various weapons had taken over the western sector and blocked it off, demanding a safe way from the market or they'd kill hostages. Lilita threw herself at the opportunity to save lives, and offered herself to the bandits, making herself a hostage they'd take with them in return for leaving everyone else unharmed. When the bandits managed to leave the Marketplace out of the eyes of the law, they turned their swords on Lilita. It would have been all over...if Lilita's aunt hadn't caught up and thrown herself towards the blades, the Tawken Law enforcement arriving soon after. Lilita didn't allow herself to cry in public. She bottled it up until she was alone, and then she wailed and wailed. For 2 days she was alone and filled with despair, until she had to answer a summons from the King. She kept her head held high, unwanting to show her weakness, and found her way in front of the gates to the castle. She received a gold ring with a green jewel from the King himself, as a token of appreciation for her acts of heroism on that dreadful day. Lilita was offered a new home at an Orphanage that was recently started. Lilita would live there as both a child in the care of the nuns, and a hero who would teach the younger generation the correct values to hold in society.

In 5 years, Lilita was called on once again as one of five people to represent Tawken's best. She was ecstatic, and jumped at the chance to take on the negativity between nations and extinguish it. Then the ship crashed. Well, it's time for her to get to work. Spirits to raise, no doubt.
Nation of Origin: Tawken
Nation Lore: See RP Intro
Other:

Lilita has motion-sickness. When using transportation, she often collapses, vomits, or curls up in strange positions.

Lilita has a fear of dogs, even the smallest, most harmless breeds.

On the opposite spectrum, Lilita has a love for cats, and cats love her. They will often curl up next to her without hesitation.

Lilita is your typical "Dumb Beauty". She has very good looks (which she admittedly doesn't care for), but isn't the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to her knowledge of the world.
