You won't be able to take it without a fight. Right now Hibiki and Shizuka are there rigging it of traps, though Shizuka might miss the angel's initially since she's focusing on the demons to the west.

This sounds like a horrible idea. I'll only agree if you'll make your angel forces act as fodder to get through the demon roses in Delta. Since they could just fly over the water and stuff.

@Lucius Cypher I'm pretty sure birb is retiring Torag from the battle (he didn't do anything last post), so that he can bring Marquis in.

Also, can you drop a rock on the Demon Starting area? They're in the lead. :P

Seriously though, with a two update post timer, it probably won't hit any mobile force, and you might as well just deny the demons a sector as early as you can.

Finally, I decided to meet up with Dora rather than challenge Grafdakka. Challenging grafdakka would be fun, but unproductive.

@The 42nd Gecko Remember I'm playing both sides against eachother. Or all sides as it were. Sure, we do need to deny the demons their sector, and Delta is a hot target for that seeing as how heavily defended it is. But wasting it now means I can't use it again during heavier fighting, like when the Leviathan shows up or once the Angel's get an upper hand. Using our secret weapon now deprives us of it as a counter, and we don't have the resources yet to make up for it.

Also I didn't know Torag wasn't going to be in the battle. I guess that's what I get for making assumptions. I figured that since there wasn't a Marquis post he wasn't going to be in this fight. Still, Endian should join the battle just so we have more bodies in the water.

@Ryonara That's a definite maybe. Dora doesn't have any flying units except angel scouts, and I'm not going to use them as fodder. That being said, at least her warships are made to fight against sea monsters and the like. If the jormungandr or charybdis shows up then Dora and her fleet can hold her own. Heck, they could at least stay on the run from the Leviathan too. It's mostly against the contender that Dora's warships fall flat, since they don't have big enough guns to get through it. And all the more reason I'm going to have Dora make a truce with Shizuka so she'd have the weapon to slay the Leviathan if we need it.

Also, it's the angels who have the meteor. So, them using it if the Angels have the upper hand seems odd. "We're winning so let's win harder."

Torag will not be participating in the battle due to the fact that he's basically a brick when it comes to water. He has no need for oxygen, though it would be a multi-post struggle for him to cap any of the altars and he's useless on a ship. As for Marquis, he'll be sniping from the deck of the Contender for the majority of the battle and capping where necessary. There wasn't a post for him simply because I had nothing to write about for him when I last posted.

Hey, hey, hey! Everyone! What read that thing about not doing OOC planning? Especially inter faction cooperation plans? I'm on the lookout, since both Lone and Windel at busy, but we communicated the decisions we made very clearly, here. If you wanna talk to each other IC, it's ok to set it up here, or to announce your future moves, to avoid miscommunication problems, but don't start discussing your tactics on the OOC, please, we really don't want any issues like we had on the Elicitor's battle. If the discussion your characters must have is a long one, I advise doing it on a collab, just like any extended fights, this way, you won't be impaired by the rules set for the battle.

By the way, for the sake of transparency and so that anyone don't say that I'm being unjust, read the rules again. I know you wanna be descriptive and all that, but you are crippling yourselves, don't complain of it costs you the fight.

By the way, I'm setting up a timer of 03 Update Post for the waters around Victoire's roses to get strongly corrosive, following this order:

- No damage (currently)

- Unarmored Targets (Post 01)

- Lightly Armored Targets (Anything less than Grafdakka's hull, Post 02)

- Vehicle Armor (Post 03)

The Pillars and most of the Ruins are as immune to the corrosion as they are to practically any other form of attack (The Only thing so far that can destroy them is the Angel's weapon). Also, while diving there isn't an insta death sentence, keep in mind the effects of the corrosive, if you decide to go.

Necessary will essentially be all the time, since Grafdakka can't cap on his own and we don't need two people camping on the Contender.

This time Machina needs to be more aggressive, which means capping points over sitting pretty in our sweet boat.

I apologize for hitting the same key over and over again, but since only Ryo's post addressed the Pillar's for real up to now, I need to ask if my description of the Ruins was clear enough? All of the 09 Pillars are easy to see from very afar there's no need to spend action to search for them, just the move needed to get to where they are, which as specified on the Rules, can be the same one to get into the sector, unless you don't want to.

Again, I apologize for bothering you, but I just needed to make this as clear as possible, since I'm only seeing your characters burning actions without doing anything, which will make the battle very unfun.

Also, for Flame, and Cypher. I just want to make sure that you know that you can't command the Contender without being on it, just like how the Demons, can't command the Leviathan without being near where it's.

How easy would it be for us to capture an uncontested pillar? Just touch it and go?

I mean, it seems a bit silly for you to spend one move getting there and then having to wait for someone to show up in a successive post before you can activate the node. At the very least you should be able to just 'prime' it and wait for someone else to arrive.

If not, then I hope Graf dropped down a lot of mines on that sector for defenses in the meanwhile :P

@Lucius Cypher@KoL Yup. I thought it was understood when you say you're going to "secure/capture" an area, that means cap it by touching the pillar.

Well I meant that too, it's just that Grafdakka's kinda slow ya know? It'd take him like, a whole post to move to the next sector. Two if he does something. But once he's in a sector, you'll going to need to bust out all the heavy guns to get him out by force.

Quick question about the corrosive roses, are demons affected by them? I want to know so I can act accordingly.

Considering that they are an effect of demonic corruption, no. On the previous battle Victoire was draining the blood of the ground troops to power them, that's why they took damage, but just their essence shouldn't damage other demons.

That's to say, don't touch the thorns, they'll hurt anyone who touches them and are strong enough to rip steel.
