The World of Gaea and the Gods
The main characters of whom you will be creating, the entire pantheon of deity's will be made by your writing. Demonic forces exiled by light, eldritch abominations forgotten by time, Heralds of the wilds, or titans of light.
Gods are immortal entities that reign over one or more domain, though multiple domains tend to have some sort of relation with each other. Gods exist outside of reality, time and space, and what not, their existence is eternal, an enigma beyond what does exist and doesn't exist. All of the Gods are offspring too Ragnarok, the enigmatic concept that connects everything, existence, non-existence, thoughts and nothing. Though some Gods may have been born earlier then others, or later then most. Their power fluctuates within individuals, and are based off of whatever Domain they rule.
All Gods have two distinct forms, Physical manifestation, or spiritual apparition. Physical manifestations are well, when they enter the physical world. Their form and power depends upon their domain, for example a God of dragons would be...well..a dragon. Gods can die, especially in their physical forms, but their death is temporary, after so many years they will return to their former state of power. While the Gods are dead however, they are in 'purgatory' a realm where only Gods and their dreams exists, and they barely have any function to do anything other then think. Spiritual apparitions can come in multiple sub types, such as overseeing the region from the heavens above, or descending in a smaller, ghostly form. Spiritual apparitions aren't as vulnerable to being defeated as physical apparitions, as they are intangible, however they are very limited in power. They can perform miracles or inspire or speak to mortals, but they are otherwise un-influential to the physical world.
Gods often associate themselves with certain people, creatures, or entities that they have either adopted or created. For example, created demons/angels, people admiring the domain and moral of the God, etc. This is important for their religion, as well as how they are worshiped. (Churches, cults, tribal sacrificial bull shit, etc.)
Heroes are mortal individuals chosen by a God to either be the modern symbol to the God, or to carry out god-politic deeds such as slaying a beast that belonged to a rival God, exterminated an evil cult, etc. Heroes are essentially player owned npc's, but can be used as additional player characters if a sheet is constructed for them. Optionally, you could RP as the hero of you're God more so then the God itself. Heroes may have exceptional abilities that fall in range with the God's domain, as well as being exceptionally stronger then other mortals of their type. Most heroes are of a race such as humans or elves, but other sentient creatures and semi-mortals like vampires can also be allowed if its fitting for the God.
Each God will be tasked with creating a piece of the continent, their creations, people, what domain are they, how their religion works, and other details of that sort.
God CS:
Name:
Title: (can have more then one)
Domain:
Powers: Mostly for physical manifestation, but you can also describe miracles and sorts as wells.
Vulnerabilites: What is the bane to your god's powers? Does the sunlight burn their physical form and weaken their powers and prevent miracles? Does unholy corruption ward you off? that kind of thing.
Appearance: Both a description and picture, primarily for their physical appearance.
Creations: Optional
Worshipers: Having people that worship Your god is optional, but recommended.
Religion and Culture:
Region or location: Refers to wherever their most influential part of the world is, for example, a land where the people worship your God, or a small exclusive sect of people on a mountain that worship them, or is it widespread and worshiped as a concept like a God of Bravery?
(should be noted that these bits of information should be for both the past and present.
Personality:
Opinions: All Gods are at least aware of the existence of the other Gods in the pantheon, so naturally they would have some first impressions at the very least before the events of this RP. Provide at least a paragraph for each other God for how your God thinks of them.
Tales: Optional, think Greek or norse tales. Something that could explain the appearance of the sun, or drama between two Gods. You can collab tales with other players, or make your own. Tales don't have to be true, they could be exaggerated or simple myths, but they could also have some truth of them, though only your God would know the truth about the Tale.

The elder Gods were the first sentient entities that dwelled in ragnarok. Maldinos locked in an eternal struggle to devour the other two elder gods in a blind animalistic lust to consume everything in oblivion. The oblivion dragon was so great that not even the other two elder gods combined could fully stop him, in order to create a stable world the elder dragon had to be stopped. Gaea, the Elder of Creation and Matter, harbinged the idea of creating more Gods. So she took elements from the domains of the universe that was still being created. Collecting Ragnarok shards and inbedding them with her own breathe, she created 4 children. Iuppiter, born from the heavens, Kalla, born from earth and life, the most akin to Gaea, Nahargu’ul of the watery abyss, and the fourth child, was a progenitor of the very bane of creation. Kilgarrah was born from the essence of Maldinos, nurtured and grown by Gaea just as the other three primal, they aided in the war to defeat the essence of oblivion. With the combined efforts of the four primal and the Two other Elder Gods, Maldinos's power could barely compete, yet he continued to persevere through it all.
Gaea decided that the only way to keep Maldinos to consume everything was to constantly satiate its hunger, and replace whatever he consumed fast enough to keep the beast at bay. As such, Gaea sacrificed her independance to forever feed Maldinos and fight him off from consuming everything.
The last Elder God, the one of time, became distant, though filled himself the role of the gatekeeper of the Aether, the realm between realms. The primal godsThe primal gods were left with a new world, and the life that rose from Gaea. They would be the leaders for the future Gods that would be born, just as the world began.

A continental Island the size of Australia, Drake Valley is a land of Tropical Jungles, Mountainous terrain, Chaotic weather, and high volcanic activity. Volcanic vents and pools and rivers of lava steam through the land with vegetation growing around such dangerous terrain. Mountains, some even being Volcanoes, stretch in the sky, with various levels of steep plateaus with flat terrain, valleys surrounded by them. Here Dragons roam more commonly then any other region, and it is here where the strongest of breeds thrive. The region was able to survive the cataclysm for several reasons. One is that the region is always naturally chaotic, so the additional storms, volcanic activity, and other natural disasters weren't anything new that the continent wasn't used too, the intense hot air from the volcanic vents and the influence of Typhon kept the smoke at bay from being too cluttered, and the Dragons, especially the primeval, drove away the demonic threats that attempted to take the land, unfortunately humans that tried to find refuge in this land met the same fate as the demons that tried to conquer it.
The only race that was able to thrive in civilization on this region were the drakkens, the humanoidic dragon race. Most of the Drakkens have gone extinct at this point, only one city remains of their kind, while the population that exist outside of this city are rogue.
The realm of the Gods is of the heavens, a realm that exists 'technically above' space. The only way to transfer between the realm of Gaea and the Realm of the Gods is through the Aether, which acts as a sort of gateway between the realms and guarded by the elder god of time, who was responsible for the silence by locking down the Aether.
The realm of the Gods is a vast sea of clouds and mountain, with a sunless sky that still holds light and heat regardless, and at the very center of the realm is the City of the Gods, Olympus. Here marble columns and buildings house many astral beings such as angels and spirits of the sorts, even a few mortal souls that were given the privilege to live in the realm of the gods instead of the typical, more boring afterlives most mortals have to go to. The city is mostly neutral, accepted all gods without aligning to anyone in specific, and at the very end of the city is the Hall of the Gods, a massive throne roam with 4 thrones, and many other smaller, but still grand chairs, for the other Gods, while the primal gods sit on their thrones. The hall is used for emergency meetings, discussing politics between gods, or even simple drama and disputes between them. Safe to say it is one of the few places where the gods frequently interact with each other directly.
On the edge of the realm lies more abhorent domains from the..less desirable gods, Such as the Gods of Blight and the God of Death.

Maldinos. If kilgarrah is the father of all dragons, maldinos is the grandfather. The elder god of oblivion and non-existence, he is the bane of all else, the ultimate threat. His very existence threatens both reality and the gods themselves into being consumed into the vast nothingness that is the abyss. In his Spiritual form', he has none, only the ever-infinite abyss that surrounds the fabricated world and the realm of the gods is his perpetual 'form'. However if he is manifested, he will always take the form of a black translucent dragon of variable size, and an almost liquid body. He is locked with Gaea in eternal conflict, rarely as a result does he ever have the chance to seek the other gods and consume them. While he cannot truly erase souls and gods, he can keep them in an unconsience state, how ever all forms of physical matter he can erase from existence by his very presence.
Gaea. The progenitor of the very world and gods, she is the creator of all matter and life. She creates to counter what Maldinos destroys, and cultivated the primal gods. She has sacrificed her independence to eternally keep maldinos at bay.
The elder god of time remains distant and less powerful then his other two siblings, but has devoted himself to the gatekeeper between the mortal realm and the realm of the gods.

Millions of years after the Gods breathed life into the earth, An apocylpse descended down upon it. First came the smoke, smoke that shrouded the sun from the earth, filled the lungs of innocent mortals, and obscured the world in fog. This smoke would start to kill off plants and cause the realm to grow colder with no sun. Then came the madness, most civilizations crumbled into anarchy and chaos, survivors pillaged and killed each other for survival, and the few remaining civilized cities and towns had to fend off waves of rebellious cutthroats, savage pillagers, and others of the like. Then came the monsters, Demons and Creatures corrupted by various dark forces, some even say from the abyss itself, ravaging the world of mortals into near extinction. Natural disasters increased in destruction and occurrence with massive hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, volcanic activity, and others of the sort. This lasted for 100 years before it all ended as mysterious as it has begin. Not even the God of Time himself could figure out why it happened, let alone why it ended, but the only reasonable blame were the Gods themselves.
The gatekeeper could only blame the Gods for this tragedy, and because of this he prevented the Gods to traverse his gate into the mortal realm, leaving Earth Godless. This ended in mixed results, while supernatural chaos became rarer, without faith and guidance, most people that would rebuild nations became corrupted in addition to growing either hatred for the Gods, or believing that their very existence is fiction. Religious cultures are few and far between, ancestors of the begotten age that haven't abandoned their faith. The silence lasted for five hundred years, leaving the Gods to having rebuild a world that has lost faith in them.
