"The fights just beginning son."

Player Name: Sep
Name: Captain Lance Thereon
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Corellian)
Force Sensitive Y/N: N
Equipment: A295 Sniper Rifle, Westar-34 Blaster Pistol, All the standard officer equipment, some grenades.
Skills:
  • Sharpshooter: Before being promoted, several times, to Company Commander he was the Companys top Marksman. While he sees frontline combat less often than he used to he still keeps his skills current.
  • Soldiers Discipline: Unlike the majority of the New Republic Military Lance was actually trained as a soldier.
  • Commander: Lance being trained in the art of war makes him a valuable commander, with a different perspective on the battlefield due to his experience over the more traditional infantry approach.

Strengths:
  • Lead by Example: People follow him, why? He's come up through the ranks and people know he's willing to do what he's asking them to do.
  • Distant: He distances himself from his troops, not getting to attached so that when he looses them it doesn't break him up.
  • Tactician: Through experience, and through having the right mindset he has a tacticians mind. His plans work for a reason, because they're brilliant.

Weaknesses:
  • Man of War: It's all he's known. He's heard rumour of Mon Mothma wanting to scale down the size of the New Republic Military. He doesn't know what he is without war.
  • Distant: A man broken by war, he has people he can have a laugh with but no real friends. He's emotionally distant to all those who serve with him.
  • Snipers Mindset: He's used to taking his time, lining up the shot before firing. He struggles in rapid, fast paced situations. While he still makes a sound situation adding on more pressure does not help his heart rate.

History: Lance was born in a small rural settlement on Corellia to parents Eryl and Tybia before the outbreak of the Clone Wars but tension was high between the Republic and the increasing size of Separatist Factions. Lance stayed away from the politics, or rather his parents did so he did. He grew up with an appreciation for the outdoors, it was everything to the young Lance who would spend long days having nature walks out in the wilds. Though that being said he was no stranger to a good days hard work, his father keeping him busy so that they could produce enough crops to make a profit.

The Clone Wars broke out when he was nine. They never came to Corellia but the ripples caused by the war were felt all over the Galaxy. Suddenly security became everything, the division between the Republic and the Separatists tore the Galaxy in half. Laws changed, and quotas changed as everything Lance knew about life was turned on it's head. Unable to support life on the farmstead anymore Eryl Thereon sold that farm that had been in his family for generations and moved toward the city to get a job working for the Corellian Engineering Corporation. There was always work to do building ships in war time.

Lance hated the city, hated everything about it. It was far too crowded, too many people who all had somewhere to be. He took to frequenting parks and other recreational calmer areas. Hoping that when the war ended things would go back to normal and they'd go home, they didn't. As the Clone Wars came to an end the Galactic Republic was changed into the Galactic Empire. Like many others his family felt that this was something that needed to be done, he himself supported the idea behind the Galactic Empire. It would bring peace and freedom to the galaxy through a united front, rather than the division that reigned in the senate during the times of the Republic.

His father saving enough money up sent Lance to a Military Academy at the age of 16, Lances dream was to serve and go onto new worlds far away from Corellia. His family had never left the planet and he wanted to do so much more than be a simple farmer, or a shipwright.

So at the age of 18 he fully enlisted in the Imperial Military, more specifically the Army. He initially signed with the idea of going on to become a vehicle operator, he had seen holovids of the old AT-TEs and the new AT-DPs and he wanted to operate some piece of machinery like that. However as he held a rifle for the first time it just felt natural, like it was the place he was supposed to be. Eventually he was on the fast track to becoming an Imperial Sharpshooter.

Fast forward a couple of years and he was a scout trooper in the Imperial Military. One of the best shots in his battalion with confirmed kills on targets ranging from Pirates to Rebels. Though like many Imperials (though not enough in numbers to matter) as the Empire became stricter and stricter, and the rules of engagement changed he began to question the Empire. He would hesitate before taking shots that he had been ordered to take against a senator. Like many it took the destruction of Alderaan for all these second guesses for him to make a decision, the next time he was sent planetside on a mission he deserted.

Rumours in the company are that he had to kill his own partner who he had worked with since training to get away, but he never answers those questions. After deserting he slummed around, took his own stand against the Empire. Typically he'd aim for the officers rather than the grunts, knowing that it was always possible that some of the grunts were just like him. It was the officers who were the truly evil ones, and such was how he operated for a while. Slowly over time the Alliance got in contact with him, and he eventually became part of Rancor Company.

He wasn't promoted to Captain until the Battle of Sullust that took place around the same time as the Battle of Endor. Afterwards Rancor spent time licking it's wounds before being sent of to Taris. In all honesty he didn't see the trap coming as TIEs burst out of buildings and fire was spit forth from the ground. Before he knew it they were trapped, with one direction. Down. He's spent the last couple of months trying to get in touch with other groups of Rebel Survivors while trying to establish some form of base of operations, and plan to get in touch with the New Republic and ultimately get off Taris.

"Let's get started. Shall we?"

Player Name: Sep
Name: Agent Aurek
Age: [REDACTED]
Gender: Female
Race: Human ([REDACTED])
Force Sensitive Y/N: [REDACTED]
Equipment: 'Allegiance' her personal starship, standard issue Imperial Officers blaster. Datapad she takes everywhere.
Skills:

  • Manipulation: Be it her enemies, or her allies. One things for sure, she knows how to get what she wants.
  • Science: While no-one is clear exactly what she does, it's obvious that she uses the sciences to her advantage.
  • Torture: No-one has seen anything first hand, but she gets answers out of prisoners.

Strengths:

  • Leader: Though few know who she actually is she is a leader of people, and has the clearance to do it.
  • Surprisingly Nimble: She doesn't look like much, but after she was attacked by a prisoner who broke free she proved that she's capable of handling herself.

Weaknesses:

  • Trust: It's hard to trust someone, when nobody knows who you are. Many of the higher ranking Imperials resent her presence, and her apparent authority. What would it take for one of them to snap?
  • Directionless: She's acting on the last order she was ever given by her command, once this order is complete she isn't quite sure what she's going to do with herself. She has grown so accustomed to simply following orders.

History: Agent Aurek turned up on Taris almost one Standard Year ago, and immediately began kicking up the beehive. Governor Venuti had become lazy in his command however anyone who knew him would have seen how flustered he was by Aureks presence, he became irritable and unpredictable. Many who knew him knew that not everything was the same after she turned up. However much of the Imperial regime remained the same on Taris, some more personnel came and worked solely under the command of Aurek in the undercity and nobody really knew what they were up to so they just let her get on with it, as the Governor himself had told them not to bother her.

Months passed as the project continued in secret, Aurek would rarely be seen outside of her 'facility' down in the undercity. Though that didn't really bother anyone. Her presence became more common after the Battle of Endor, around the same time the Governor suddenly became a recluse. She is the one that organised the ambush on the rebel forces and since then has taken a proactive stance in trying to flush them out of the undercity.

Though one question still remains. Who is Agent Aurek?

Player Name: Charter

Name: Staff Sergeant Caleb Raock, DH-1644

Age: 25

Appearance: Caucasian, green eyes, brown hair in the standard military crew cut, 5'11" in hieght with a medium build

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Affiliation: Empire.

Force Sensitive Y/N: No

Equipment: AT-ST Pilot uniform, EC-17 Blaster Pistol (tucked away in his right boot), an E-11 Blaster Rifle, also has a couple of grenades and a thermal detonator. Pilots an AT-ST (Callsign T-51).

Skills:
  • AT-ST Pilot - Trained to drive the bog-standard AT-ST of the Imperial forces, also can take up the gunner's position of the vehicle when needed.
  • Mechanical Knowledge - While learning how to properly maintain an AT-ST, Caleb took it upon himself to learn how to perform minor maintenance on many imperial vehicles. His superiors have since given him the responsibility to watch over or help the maintenance crews when they need an extra pair of hands.
  • Reconnaissance & Vehicular Support - Trained to scout areas too dangerous or difficult for scout troopers to be sent. Also provides anti-infantry or anti-light vehicle support when in a conflict.
  • Weapons Training - Trained in the use of Blaster rifles and pistols.

Strengths:
  • Reporter Extraordinaire - Writing up detailed reports of incidents or locations come easy to this individual. Though, granted, they can be a boring read.
  • By The Books/Keen Memory - A man who keeps to procedure, Caleb isn't one to skip on a minor detail in the startup of his vehicle or forget the face of an individual he had a personal conversation with.
  • Battle Discipline - Death and destruction tend to not phase this man, at least until danger has past. He keeps to his objectives in spite of what attempts to stop or distract him.

Weaknesses:
  • Weak Hands - Despite his training, Caleb never truly seemed to get the grasp of a melee fight. Sure, he could probably win a brawl against a street thug but anything to do with multiple targets or just a militarily trained individual, he's bound to lose.
  • What am I fighting for? - Caleb has a weak motivation to continue fighting this war.
  • Poor Liar - Caleb, while growing up, was taught the values of truth and honesty. While he can in fact lie, he's not very good at hiding it.

History: Caleb was born on a farm on Naboo. Although a farm boy, Caleb tends to give the impression he's from a metropolitian city. When he finished a minimum schooling, and with a desire to explore and see the galaxy, he tried to get into schools that were off-world. However, every one of the 12 schools he tried to get in denied him, each for their own reasons for doing so. Disheartened from the constant denials, he went for a walk around the nearby town. This is where he saw a recruitment holo-vid for the Imperial military; primarily the words 'explore the galaxy' caught his attention most. Upon returning home, he told his parents what he was thinking of doing. They were hesitant of the decision, asking him to reconsider for other options. They argued that it would be dangerious, that he'd might get killed, he argued that it would be his chance to make the galaxy a better place, as well as learn some other skills for when he left the Imperial forces. His parents ultimately let him make his decision but have expressed their dislike of it.

After signing up at a local recruitment centre, Caleb made his way off-world, saying good-bye to his friends & family. With a good understanding of machines & mechanics from his schooling, he was placed into the Stormtrooper Corps to be an Imperial Combat Driver, he was then later selected to be an AT-ST driver. After the Battle Of Yavin, Caleb was pulled from training to fill the vacuum left by the destruction of the first Death Star. His placement was a world on the Outer Rim, where he primarily preformed base protection but he would occasionally get scouting/reconnaissance duties. Here he proved himself capable and loyal in combat and duties before being transferred to Taris months before the Battle Of Endor. While stationed on Taris, Caleb was becoming dissatisfied within Imperial ranks and the overall conflict with the Rebels. He started to consider what lines of work he could step into when he finished his time in the Imperial Military, hopefully something that allowed him to visit home often.

After the destruction of the Death Star and the rumored death of Emperor Palpatine, Caleb was informed of Naboo's new allegiance to the newly formed New Republic. He has also heard that the Empire was making an attempt to take the planet. This put him in an awkward spot; he knew the Empire had a habit of caring little for civilian casualties, which put the thought of his parents' well being into question. On top of that, since he had joined the Empire, would this newly formed New Republic harm or harass his family? Caleb kept these concerns to himself, not trusting any of his fellows in case one of them report him to be questionable. With hope, he'll survive this conflict and find a peaceful way home. In spite of his concerns; Caleb remains loyal to the Empire, believing a united Empire is better for everyone.

Player Name: Lord Zell
Name: James Conrad
Age: 41
Appearance:
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Kuat)
Force Sensitive Y/N: No
Equipment: Blaster pistol, Other standard officer gear (Code cylinders, Datapad etc.)
Skills: Knows most of the city, Well respected by his subordinates. Can fight decently in hand to hand or gunfights.
Strengths Loyal to the Empire, Tactician, Belief in Collateral Damage
Weaknesses: Wishes for personal gain, Dislikes authority(Only follows those he must such as the Governor or the Agent.) Belief in Collateral Damage
History: While James attempts to forget his life when he was a child it’s what made him. Having been born to a poor family he had to scrounge for anything he could. Often working for criminals to get whatever he could. However everything changed when he was 15, the clone wars as they were called had begun. Kuat began requiring more and more people to work for the ever expanding dockyards. This was where James got his first honest work. Making small ship parts in the factories while it didn’t do much he was able to see clones, officers, senators and more when they came to collect new ships or thank the world for all it was doing. Eventually the war ended and the Empire came.

At 18 he joined the empire and immediately he was seen for his talent. Unlike most soldiers he could actually think for himself and had officer potential. He was transferred to the Cardia Academy which would soon to be known for producing the best of the best. Unlike those around James who had gotten everything from either being wealth men, supporters of palpatine or with friends in high places, James had earned his spot. Also on times when he found himself in trouble he often had the uncanny ability to shift the blame to his peers. At 25 he had graduated and granted the rank of Lieutenant in the Imperial Army he was transferred once again back to Kuat, he was once again working in making the factories however this time he was to make sure shipments were made on time and everything moved like clockwork. Due to the importance of Kuat the empire stationed thousands of men. Though they usually had little to do. The planet was loyal to the empire and had little to gain from helping small rebel cells which could make no promises on returning on their investments.

Over the next 12 years James slowly rose the ranks to Major. When the Death Star exploded however and many high ranking positions were left vacant allowed James a place of higher authority. James was granted the rank of Colonel and moved to Taris. There he acted as the head of the military on planet serving as the assistant of Governor Ventui. Though James had lesser resources than that of Kuat he had less oversight and more action. James quickly began quelling the small cells on the planet wasting civilian life if needed and anytime it was brought up the blame was put on the rebels. Now 4 years later and with the supposed death of the Emperor and Vader the empire fracturing and war on his planet. James awaits to see what Agent Aurek is making and further Orders.

Player Name: Legion-114
Name: William Knight
Age: 27

Appearance:

Gender: Male
Race: Human
Force Sensitive Y/N: N

Equipment: Class-II Gladiator Star Destroyer. Manor House on Naboo.
Skills: Fleet Analysis/Perception. Demand Loyalty.

Strengths: } Seasoned Captain. A Strong Sense of Justice.
Weaknesses: } Suffers from Occasional PDST. Doesn’t Fire Upon Unarmed Targets.

History:
Knight was eight years old during the peak of the Clone Wars, in which living on the Outer Rim often left his homeworld venerable to CiS attacks. It was during an assault carried out by the Separatists that led to the death of his family members and most of the village he lived in. The attack was both unprovoked and held little strategic value. – Knight would never quite recover from this experience. Eventually the Republic reclaimed the world and saved those who were forced to work in labour camps.

Knight was brought back to Coruscant after it was reviled that he would have no future on the world. Here he witnessed the transformation from the Republic to the Galactic Empire. His mind focusing on the propaganda that promised to restore order to the galaxy. And Enlisted into the Imperil Navy when he was fifteen, lying about his age so that he could get the most out of his youth.

When it was discovered that he had lied about his age to get into the academy the board of instructors were to throw him out and issue discipline. However, Admiral Vor Raukken saw both the potential and determination driving Knight and questioned the boy as to why he was so determined to join the navy at such a young age, in which Knight explained what had happened to his family and his homeworld and that civilian life would not be lost if hostile forces couldn’t land on the planet.

With this answer, the Admiral gave Knight an honourer position on his own Imperial-II Class destroyer. Immediately Knight felt that he was in his element, the narrow corridors and cramped command room was of no bother to him. He even attended some high risk mission where his own input gave the Imperials the advantage.

Rukken then as a gift gave Knight his own ship to command, The Defender, a Gladiator-II class Destroyer. Which was often always placed on defensive deployment of worlds and stations. Knight never accepted any rank above Captain, even though he has been offered many times, his main reason was that he wanted to be the one stopping the enemies of the Empire on the battleground rather than locked away in a fortified location, sending troops to their death.

After the weeks following the destruction of the Death Star II, Knight and his crew were still stationed above Naboo as part of the planetary defence. It wasn’t until the third week of hearing nothing from Naval Command and Control, Knight then began to broadcast to nearby Imperial outfits in neighbouring sectors. However, the open comms were a mess, and it seemed the entire battle net was out of sync from itself. That is when Knight made the decision to abandon his post from Naboo and begin to rally all the Imperial forces into one coherent force.

For an entire month, Knight and a small band of Imperial ships that joined him bunny hopped from system to system, evacuating Imperial forces and supplies.

Knight received the responder code for Imperial forces to regroup over Taris, where he awaiting for his briefing as to what will happen next.
