Being a bit underpowered without its creator, the construct was slightly sloppy with its offense. Even moreso with its defense. It didn't help that its opponents were skilled, powerful, and experienced in their own rights. One had been strong enough to crack one of its legs, and the others had conjured up powers and weapons that could counteract its heat and fire. The number of enemies alone had overwhelmed it. For every action, it had suffered a consequence not proportionate to what had given. Ignoring a lesser threat had allowed another to make it into a larger one. throwing a punch at a target had resulted in a beam of ice colliding with it, and cooling off the arm to steaming, useless piece that fell off the main body. Even when it had sent out its pillars and fireballs, without its creator's presence, they were predictable, and the enemies' easily picked up on its pattern. With so many direct hits, and damage, the construct fell. It's leg shattered, causing it to collapse. Then in a futile attempt to take anything with it, It flailed as it tried to do what it could not on its own, but instead of bursting into a grand explosion of fire, its movements slowed.
The body twitched, and twitched, and twitched...until it stopped. The moment it stopped, the body dissipated into nothingness. What was there was no longer there.

Girania awakened, sensing the presence of a notable new fool. She looked outside her window, and smiled as her construct fought against her potential subjects. She watched it fall, and felt immense happiness from it. The brain that belonged to the original little girl trembled. Watching as the Nightmare cried tears of joy at her own creation's defeat, it scared her. Then again, there wasn't really anything about that nightmare that didn't scare her. It did what it wanted, and anything that made it interested was more than enough reason to smile.
The sigil had returned to Girania, but she hadn't noticed. She was busy wiping the tears from her eyes, and looking for something else. The sky had darkened, and an obelisk had been erected. It was disgusting. It was a mockery to her. An insult! It wasn't a challenge, it was an entrance. An entrance so grand that only the undeserving would think to allow it for themselves. She would not have it. Girania would have an interaction with whoever had the gall to erect such an ugly sight...Or maybe she'd tear it down, and watch people die from it. Maybe both. It'd be fun. Like crushing bugs with her fingers.
Girania opened her window, and flapped her wings. She made her way to Obelisk, with a smile. She may have fun with this...
