@FantasyChic Like what? I mean the last post you did you totally missed that Jackson had already gotten the answer from the boy and a lot more information. (It was in the W.N. before your last post.) - So from what I saw people just moved forward from there since the information was already acquired. Trying to figure out what is messing up for you? (Other than you personally missing information in posts.)

Then I missed that part, but it has happened before. Again, nothing wrong with that but now I don't know what to do unless the world narrative adds something to the next bit with Anisa or something.

I think I keep missing the World Narrative posts because I usually go to the last post written then scroll up to whatever other posts I miss (unless I am tagged personally in said postS) so that is my bad for missing it, but now I look like an idiot in my post after that.

I know I won't be able to get a post in on time so it's been fun participating in this RP and I wish you all the best of luck moving forward.

Your last post, I'm curious as to whether you are intentionally posting a missed insight for Carla, as she is observing Harper. Don't get me wrong, his rant does drop a hint or two, but it wouldn't indicate a person that had never been in the military. The point that you made specifically was his use of "Food Chain", which yes, does indicate chain of command. While tiny bits of colorful jargon such as this can vary from branch to branch (and even unit to unit), it is never used in an official capacity. Of course, I am using United States military jargon, as non branch-specific as I can (considering my own history).

A specific food chain, as indicated by the use of the word "my" tends to indicate a direct line rather than a general indication of position within ranks on the grander scale. I.E. the Captain of a refueling station would still be higher than Harper on the food chain, but would would not be within his food chain, as he is not assigned under the station Captain directly.

Now, as he is dropping it in conversation lightly, it could indicate the possibility of a history as an NCO prior to becoming a Lieutenant, which would add up considering his age. It might also indicate that he's trying to catch whether or not Carla has a military background, dropping subtle bits like that. Either way (or both, depending), he does have a working history with the Alliance Military.

Oh the other hand, if Carla is making an incorrect assumption based on a miscalculation of the scene, for the sake of dramatic tension and/or an interesting scene later, awesome. Otherwise, he hasn't really done anything out of character for a newly assigned officer.

@JustDoingMe Just a quick note, you are getting dangerously close to Metagaming/Godmoding - Standing on that line for some - you have jumped over it for me.

Metagaming with all the references to the Cargo, the note in the last post about herself sneaking in in a box, using Quinn like an errand boy when she hasn't been around for any of this to even get a red flag or even know he checked in cargo so she wouldn't have even thought to check the cargo bay as it is not her job nor does she have clearance or authority to - She is an operative, yes - 6th sense she does not have, nor does she have any military rank or background in her CS. Heck, Jahosafat has not even "checked in" - so she has no idea what his clearance level is - even if he had she couldn't check it.

Godmoding - Saying Foy has the best contraband - I know you have not discussed this with Sigil, as I have asked him.

Also, checking notes and such - I have not said what is in them or even if there are any - so you are inserting things you shouldn't be.

Real it back big time. Anymore posts with any metagaming or godmoding in them will be ignored (And the rest of the crew will be instructed to act as if they were not posted)
